- No me gustó. Cuarto sin ventana, muy pequeña. Es para mochileros, para un día, no sirve para quedarse varios días. Había una cucaracha paseando por la habitación.
- Joshua (6/5): Poor communication and service, good location, excellent bathtub. - I loved the tub, I’m a 6’1 American, and it was more than large enough to be comfortable for me. It’s also a short bus ride from here to the airport. They are very strict about the 4pm check in time, and will it allow you to check in before that. There is an area under camera surveillance where you can leave your luggage before checking in, but there is nobody to watch it in person or tell you to drop it there, just a sign. The room was mostly clean, but needed a sweeping and there was someone else’s toothpaste tube left behind the sink.
- Emily (4/5): One night stay due to a late flight into Jeju city. Self-check in and check-out. - Not the cleanest hotel.
- Louis (8/5): Airport stop-over. - The hotel room was adequate for a one night stay before the airport. Price was reasonable. There are some restaurants that are nearby in walking distance. The room was basic but adequate for the price.
- Chwee (7/5): Convenient location - Good location only On 2nd day no house keeping, after feedback then improved, however the 2 rooms not done at all,all towels just fold back for reused, very disappointed with such room service as well as provide hand towel instead of bath towel.
Room facilities in korean language not understand to operates
- Zairianti (8/5): A comfortable stay with great service, though some minor improvements could enhance the experience. - The receptionists are friendly and very helpful, the rooms are clean, the lobby is spacious enough for waiting, and the location is extremely strategic making it very convenient to get around using public transportation. Breakfast is provided upon request but is only available starting at 8 AM. It would be better if it started at 6:30 AM, allowing guests to have breakfast before heading out for city sightseeing or a one-day trip outside the city.
The bathroom does not have a curtain, so shower water spills onto the floor
- Matt (4/5): Disappointing -
- Shirley (1/5): Awful stay -
- Redgina (8/5): Very good - Very clean and comfortable room. I had a balcony as well on the 11th floor. Location is amazing and opposite to bus stop 600. No breakfast on sunday
- Marianne (7/5): Good -
- Aviva- (10/5): Exceptional - Highly recommended. Close to the airport.
The room was fabulous and clean .
Very close to lotte Hotel with a pickup point to days tour ( 10 minutes walking ) . Nothing
- Ashton2323 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Viktor (9/5): Superb -
- Cem (8/5): Very good -
- Tran (10/5): Exceptional - Location Small room
- Natalie (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sara (7/5): Affordable and close to airport and downtown. - Proximity to airport and downtown Bathroom window was open, difficult to close and was unsure how to close it.
It says 24/7 front desk but it’s unmanned most of the time and I had to point out to bewildered guests that’s it’s digital check-in. If there are problems with the check-in kiosk just like what happened to mine (because it was through booking.com), you had to wait for staff to arrive after you figure out how to call them. That’s hard when your guests are international and can’t call.
- Faye (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lydia (5/5): Passable - Nice location No bath towel, no rug so the toilet is wet after shower.
- Kelvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- -chester (8/5): Very good -
- Kanokon (8/5): Very good -
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional - 7/11 was right outside the hotel. Microwave was at the shop and next to the reception. Room was quite big. For the price it was really good option. And from airport it was around 10 min with taxi for only 4000 won/ 3,3Eur.
- Evgenia (8/5): Very good - The hotel and the overall stay was great! However the staff could barely speak English :/ Other than that, I totally recommend it!
- Kim (8/5): Enjoy the stay and also its convenient to walk around with lots of eateries. - Pp I p The heavy sliding door to the bathroom
- Chaariss (9/5): Superb - Overall stay. Everything you need is nearby. Room is very spacious as well. All the staff are very friendly and quick to assist your need. The only thing was there's no shower curtain so expect to have a mess in the bathroom and the bathtub leaks.
- Fabian (9/5): Pleasant stay at a well decorated and clean hotel in a convenient location. - Very nice and clean rooms. The Hotel is located at a good spot close to many restaurants and shops, plus has a bus stop nearby. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great place to stay, particularly at the offered prices.
- Aleksandra (7/5): Good - comfortable room, nice staff
- Jawad (6/5): Pleasant - Close to the airport.
Staff was friendly, but could almost no english. Terrace was nothing special even though we picked the room for that reason.
- Claire (9/5): The staff is helpful and even got me refilled the shower gel. They helped me in calling a taxi for me i. going to the ai - It’s indeed 5-min drive from/to the airport; near the 600 airport bus stop (Jeju Sun Hotel) and a walking distance to Stop 22 of Jeju City Tour bus. A few blocks from the shopping street and nearby restaurants and cafes. A complimentary coffee and teas woudl be great but definitely not an issue
- travelworld1170 (6/5): OK but slightly amateur hotel near airport - but why stay in Yeon-dong? - First off, the key question I have to anyone staying at this hotel would be- do you really have a reason to be in this area?
- If you have business/some other specific commitment right around here, well then I get it.
- If you have a really early flight and want to be by the airport....then I get it
- If you're a tourist otherwise....I'm not really sure the reason. Jeju should be about nature, ocean, or at least something unique. This hotel is in Yeon-dong area...not far from all sorts of great tourist conveniences like money exchange, duty-free shopping, and touristy restaurants. It has a sort of "tourist ghetto" feel to it. Even other urban hotels are closer to the water or some of other other "attractions" in the city.
Other than my key question on location (i was actually arriving the night before my friend - so effectively "waiting" - I guess that's another category) I was relatively fine with my stay. I guess I had payed maybe 10,000 won more than other hotels in the area, and in hindsight I bet they would have been similar - so don't expect you're getting anything special.
The hotel overall was fairly new and they put some effort into the design - but what stood out after that was kind of a lack of care. The rooms were clean, but the walls there as well as elsewhere just needed some paint touch-ups to look much better - it seemed no one was caring. There was certainly dust around the corners. The stairs were being used for (temporary?) trash storage. I didn't use the restaurant or have breakfast so can't comment on that....
Regardless, nothing wrong with this hotel. But if you're thinking of staying here and don't have a specific need to be in this area, perhaps challenge yourself a bit more to come up with a better Jeju itinerary....
- umetong (8/5): Convenient location with valuable price - This is the first time I visit Jeju, I pick this hotel because it’s location is good. I arrived Jeju in early morning and it just took 5-mins by taxi to the hotel. I kept my baggage at the hotel and went to sauna nearby (Ard 10 mins walk) for rest. There are many restaurants and shops (at least convenient stores) nearby. The popular shopping district is only 10-minutes walk, I can go shopping every night....it’s really great to me. Other than that, many bus stops near the hotel so that visitors can plan their route easily. I quite recommend this hotel to people who visit Jeju for the first time and are going to stay at Jeju city.
- Herr_Foe (8/5): Fair Value for money - but bring your own breakfast. - Well equipped spacious room, fully equipped spacious bathroom, actually we were upgraded to a Deluxe Double which was nice. About 5 parking lots next to the hotel, Parking Service around the area if those are taken.
Breakfast mostly korean, for Western taste little Stuff, but if you re ready to taste regional stuff you LL have a good breakfast. Hat some difficulties with Payment, the receptionist made an mistake and had to fix it with a 10 min Phone dialogue.
- jasongwill (8/5): Good downtown location - We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. As we had our two year old son travelling with us, the hotel was kind enough to upgrade us from a room with a queen bed to a room with a queen and single bed for additional room and comfort. A nice touch and appreciated. We liked the location as we were close to lots of shops, restaurants and bars in the surrounding neighborhood. We didn't find out until later, however the hotel is convenient to & from the airport using the 600 bus. The Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino is the 1st and last stop to & from the airport and is across the road from this hotel. although we were at the front of the hotel there was no noise from outside. Our room however did smell of cigarette smoke but they opened some windows to help air out the room. Ample size bathroom and electronic toilet. They could do with a chest of drawers for additional clothes storage space and additional hooks to hand towels. The towels were thin and worn to the point of being scratchy - suggest they buy some new towels. No face cloths (pet peeve of mine). We had breakfast included which was basic fare but good enough to fill our stomachs. Staff were friendly and responsive but with varying degrees of English proficiency. Overall we were staisfied with our experience.
- nrains48 (8/5): A great place to stay while at Jeju - When first checked in to the hotel, was unfortunately given a room with some cobwebs in it. After speaking to the reception, it was a truly pleasant and definitely much appreciated gesture that we were granted another room at the top floor. This room was much more satisfactory....clean...free of cobwebs.
Space of the hotel was pleasant and modern. Loved their TV....awesome display channels. Great wi-fi reception.
Generally, it was a pleasant stay with good service. Location wise is pretty good...within walking distance to the centre of town.
I guess the downside is that it takes a little longer time to communicate with the reception...just need to brush up a little more on the sign language. And the shower area does get wet...
Otherwise...all things considered....I would definitely return to this hotel.
- 128greggl (8/5): You get what you pay for - The hotel is small and modern. Everything in the hotel seems relatively new.
The rooms are small but adequate. We got a double bed which was fine for us but a bit small for the other couple we were staying with.
The hotel is very close to the airport with a lot of food and shopping options close by. They offer free parking which was a plus.
The hotel staff were ok. They tried to accommodate us when it was convenient for them.
Some weird things:
- Not all the tubs had shower curtains. We were moved 3 times before we got one that had curtains.
- unoccupied rooms doors are open. During the day and night you can walk into rooms. This is another reason why I know not all had curtains.
- the breakfast was disgusting. We came at the end 845am and all the food was cold. Also the selection was not great. I'd recommended against this option.
Overall the rooms were clean and relatively cheap. We only used the hotel to shower and sleep. For that reason only I would recommend this hotel.
- MissyYee (10/5): Nothing but awesome! - Located in a new town and only 10-minutes car ride from the airport, the location was less touristy but well-equipped with convenience stalls and restaurants. Lotte Mart and Emart were within walking distance. There were a lot of cafes and boutiques for shopping along the way.
The room was clean and welcoming. Although the bed was a tad too soft for our liking. Breakfast was pretty normal, just a little disappointed that no Korean porridge was served throughout our 3 nights stay.
A huge THANK YOU to the staff for looking out for our misplaced hand-phone. We only realised that we left our hand-phone in the hotel after checking out when we reached the airport, Called the hotel immediately and the staff was honest to keep the phone for us till we returned for it.
Definitely a place to stay in Jeju!
- rebeccatI2294JN (8/5): Nice & New Design Hotel - Overall the hotel design is good & cozy. The lobby had a very nice cozy corner with sofa and a very warming heater that really warm us up during winter. Room design was very conceptual but size wise not to expect big space. The receptionists are friendly... Around the hotel there are quite a number of local restaurants...
- Jickjack404 (10/5): Awesome Hotel! - This modern boutique hotel is bout 6 months old and it is so CUTE and staff were friendly and helpful. The staff arranged a guided taxi tour of the island. Our room was on the small side but it had everything we wanted and needed. The TOILET is to die for!!! just take my word for it.
I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a beautifully decorated, centrally located, affordable hotel!
