• Claus (6/5): At the price misses the mark - Location of hotel and view from fair-sized room/small balcony beautiful. Friendly staff at check-in. At €153 in mid-season this ´boutique´hotel misses the mark. Furniture in room/bathroom cheap and damaged. Although booked for two persons, the room was only laid out for one (bathroom towels, coffee cups). Rectified immediately, but at price should be correct from the start. Breakfast solid, but not a vow and limited English speaking personnel, thus got the wrong eggs order.

• Richie (10/5): If I were still married I would bring my wife here : for 'me' it's Romantically nostalgic. - The Hotel 'experience' is 'better' than the photos; in fact I writing this review from the same hotel : 13-20/5/26. I'm afraid I am probably bias, because I lived here 26 years ago, but lost my house 'across the bay' to road widening : new road to Cadiz. I regularly walked the beach past, Hotel Boutique Milla de Plata on my shopping trips to Torreguadiaro - nostalgic. It's not just an Hotel. There is a very lively restaurant immediately beneath the ground floor rooms. It's an exciting location, and the views I once took for granted are spectacular. I slip into sleep to the sound of the lapping mini waves, clearly audible.

• Francoise (10/5): Quelques kms de plus après Marbella et c'est merveilleux - Vraiment bien, tranquille en dehors des excès des établissements proches de Marbella. Vue exceptionnelle sur la mer et le rocher de Gibraltar. Une plage toute mignonne avec des transats. Je recommande ! Peut-être le resto un peu moyen mais très belle vue.

• Carsten (6/5): Passables Hotel in guter Lage - Eine gute Lage, ein schöner Ausblick, ein kostenfreier Parkplatz, eine tolle Dusche und durchweg (ich sage nicht „stets“) bemühtes Personal. Das Zwei-Sterne-Hotel ist bei den gebotenen Leistungen weit überteuert. Die Restaurantleistung des angegliederten Mar Sana war die absolut schlechteste in unserem 3-wöchigen Andalusien-Urlaub. Während das Frühstück noch einigermaßen okay war, kann das Abendessen als Fiasko bezeichnet werden. Wir hatten einen Tisch zu 19 Uhr reserviert, diesen auch pünktlich eingenommen und zeitnah das Essen bestellt. Obwohl nur sehr wenige Gäste da waren, haben wir fast 1 ¼ Stunden auf das Essen gewartet, und das für zwei einfache Gerichte. Eines davon war ein Caesars Salad. Es mag ja Gestaltungs- und Variationsmöglichkeiten geben, aber dieser bestand u.a. aus Unmengen Mayonnaise (!), gestifteltem Käse und einem ganzen gekochten Ei (dafür keine Croutons etc.). Wir hatten ein Missverständnis bei der Bestellung vermutet, aber auf der Rechnung war diesen Salat ausgewiesen und wurde auch entsprechend bepreist. Das versuchte Konzept, gleichzeitig asiatische und spanische Küche anzubieten, scheint krachend gescheitert. Das WLAN funktionierte auf dem Zimmer nicht, hierfür musste man mindestens bis in den Rezeptionsbereich hinuntergehen. Die Lärmbelästigungen waren unerträglich. Nach 23 Uhr muss so etwas wie Schränkerücken oder ähnliches stattgefunden haben. Die im Haus vorgenommenen Technikertätigkeiten schienen gegen 4 Uhr morgens wieder aufgenommen worden zu sein – die Nacht war aufgrund der Geräuschkulisse jedenfalls zu Ende. Diese Unterkunft ist absolut nicht zu empfehlen.

Location - Location - Location The floors were very damaged by the shower . The couch needs a full replacement. Clearly water damage = humidity + mold , please fix this asap.
• Robin (10/5): Fantastic Oceanfront Hotel & Sushi Restaurant - Loved our room! Nice little touches, like loveseat and ottoman facing the ocean, minibar, big closet, safe, and coffee maker. The air conditioner worked great! The oceanfront view from inside the room and balcony is amazing. We sat and watched the dolphins. Also, Free parking is great. Lovely little beach area & beach bar. Great restaurant just downstairs. We ate there both nights. Fantastic sushi made by sushi chef. A whole menu just for sushi … and another for other foods. The Restaurant wasn’t expensive and had a great ocean view. Great weekend!! Just a minor issue, but difficult to regulate the shower and sink water temperature.

• John (10/5): Peaceful and Panoramic views. - Everything was fine, especially the location: overlooking the sea, with a fantastic view of Gibraltar to the right; and the windows were very big. It was the STAFF who seemed 'grumpy' or upset about something, like they don't like their job!

• Anette (8/5): Im Ganzen in Ordnung. - Die Lage direkt am Strand ist einmalig! Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam, vielen Dank! Die Ausstattung, insbesondere des Badezimmers, versprüht den Charme der 90er. Auch das Frühstück war nicht mehr ganz dem heutigen Standard entsprechend, dafür aber umso herzlicher serviert.

• Nicole (10/5): - Die Lage mit der Aussicht ist absolut einzigartig. Man kann den Sonnenaufgang vom Bett aus beobachten. Das war außergewöhnlich schön. Wir haben Abends im Restaurant gegessen und das Essen war sehr lecker. Der Nachtisch auch seht zu empfehlen. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Als wir dort waren, wurde aber überall restauriert und teilweise neue Möbel aufgestellt. Man arbeitet also dran. Aber die Lage und die Aussicht entschädigt alles. Wirklich zu empfehlen.

Chambre immense ( N° 3), joliment meublée et prolongé d’un balcon terrasse avec vue panoramique : Une véritable croisière sur la terre ferme. Literie de rêve king size, machine à café, mini-bar, coin salon, écran plat de belle taille … Confort incomparable, digne d’un 4 étoiles. Petit déjeuner génial pris en terrasse et accueil des plus sympathiques. Parking privé gratuit devant l’établissement. Restaurant élégant et raffiné. Vraiment une excellente adresse, chaleureusement recommandée.
