• ROGER (7/5): - L'accueil, Mme est souriante les informations claires. La chambre très bien équipée spacieuse par contre insonorisation trop légère. Le petit déjeuner ne manquait de rien. Pas de chance pour nous rien à voir avec l'établissement mais sur le même parc il y a un site de réception...il y avait un mariage, donc très bruyant en dessous des fenêtres , l'entree est du meme côté. .impossible de s'endormir avant la fin...tard.

L’insonorisation n’est pas du tout au niveau et ces chiens (qui doivent être au haras?!) qui passent leur temps à aboyer. La nuit fut courte et la sieste impossible.

• Louis-Augustin (5/5): - J'ai pris le temps de la réflexion avant de laisser cet avis. La nuit a bien été prélevée et, en toute transparence, nous pensons qu’il y a une part de responsabilité partagée dans ce séjour manqué. Nous ne nous sommes finalement pas rendus sur place. Cependant, au vu des échanges et des retours que nous avions pu avoir, nous préférons partager notre ressenti. Le **contexte et l’environnement semblent magnifiques**, avec un cadre qui paraît vraiment plein de charme et de potentiel. En revanche, la **communication téléphonique a été assez difficile**, avec plusieurs incompréhensions, ce qui a contribué à la situation. Des proches nous avaient également fait un retour mitigé sur le confort (notamment l’insonorisation et la propreté), ce qui nous a confortés dans notre décision. En résumé : un lieu qui semble bénéficier d’un très beau cadre, mais une expérience globalement mitigée en raison des difficultés de communication et des interrogations sur le confort. Avis laissé en toute sincérité et sans animosité, dans un esprit constructif.

• Jean-Jacques (8/5): - C'est un bel endroit pour se poser. Les chambres sont très agréables. Nous sommes à la campagne, et juste à côté d'une église... Vous aurez compris que les cloches sonnent toutes les heures, et ce toute la nuit... Perso cela ne m'a pas trop dérangé. Ce qui m'a dérangé, ce sont les fêtards d'après mariage au château du biez. Mais la direction de l'hôtel n'est évidemment pas responsable.

• bruno (2/5): - Le cadre voisin de l'hôtel , une personne attentionnée à l’accueil L espace petit déjeuner, ouvert sur le couloir des chambres, pas très cosy, une décoration de chambre très simple, chambre plutôt petite, du bruit avec des aboiements de chiens....

• Abra (7/5): Leuke lokatie. - Mooie omgeving naast een kasteel. Leuk dat er een paardenstal was. Helaas gaf de aanwezigheid van de paarden veel vliegen op de kamer. Geen hor aanwezig, dus kwamen ze graag binnen. Met de ramen dicht werd het erg warm in de kamer.

• Irene Lopez de Vicuna (5/5): Décevant - Thé et café à disposition dans la partie commune. On n'a pas bien dormi. Il faisait trop chaud dans la chambre, et la lumière plus le bruit des chevaux nous ont reveillé dès tôt le matin. Les rideaux ne sont pas ocultants et une fenêtre ne marchait pas.

• Hanne (4/5): Te duur voor het middelmatige verblijf. - Micheline was heel vriendelijk en het park waarin het hotel ligt is geweldig. De verhouding prijs-kwaliteit is niet ok. Als ik zo veel betaal verwacht ik niet dat ik de hele avond lawaai zal hebben van een café vlak onder het raam (dat wel open moet staan anders is het snikheet en komt de geur van oude sigaretten naar boven.). Eenmaal het 22u is, is het terras stil maar dan hoor je heel goed de buren door de dunne muurtjes en de blaffende hond van de aanpalende manège. Vanaf 7u 's morgens is er ook weer veel hond-, manège- en ganglawaai (het ontbijt wordt op de gang geserveerd, letterlijk op 2 meter van de kamerdeur). Dit zijn allemaal dingen waar ik voor gesetteld zou hebben als het goedkoop was geweest, maar dat was het niet helaas.

• orna (1/5): Stay away from this hotel - Nothing. in the pictures one might think that we are coming to a castle but this is not the case. The rooms are in a very poor location-probably use to be the stable for the horse. There was a very bad smell in the rooms of poop that came from a neglected dog down the window-his place was full of poop of at least weeks which no body bother to clean. The dog was also very angry and barked constantly(which is understandable if no body cleans his place and he needs to eat and poop in the same place)-and it was beneath the window of the room so the room had a very bad smell. I did not like anything. Besides the fact that the rooms were stink the hosts was very unpleasant and aggresive. We left the hotel and went to another hotel so bad it was.

• CHRISTIAN (8/5): - Le seul défaut à signaler, c'est la présence de chiens chez le voisin de l'hôtel qui se mettent à aboyer dès 6 heures le matin sinon le cadre environnant est très joli.
• Philippe (10/5): - Quelle expérience incroyable que de passer une soirée et une nuit auprès des chevaux. L’accueil est chaleureux, digne de la Belgique et Micheline fait tout ce qu’elle peut pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Un plus important, sur le même site vous pouvez manger une viande de très bonne qualité et très bien préparée au bord du manège à chevaux.

• Alan (8/5): - OK for one night. The rooms are in an old stable block that has been converted. There is a small bistro and bar on the ground floor offering basic but good food. Right next door is a park with an arboretum and an old chateau. There is a children's playground and large cafe in the grounds. There is a stud and horse riding club alongside the rooms. The rooms are small and the breakfast area is cramped but you can take your breakfast to your room. There is another restaurant across the road.

• Rob (7/5): Good - The location was good, on the way down south. A beautiful property and pretty surroundings, with some cute towns nearby. The local food options are limited to a fine dining restaurant, a beer bar with mostly fried snacks, and a cute family-run pizza joint. Please note: you will NOT be staying in the castle in the picture. It's next door and fast bookers who don't read the fine print can be confused. The property is actually a stable, so there are smells. Next door is a dog training school, so there are sounds. 8am sharp we awoke to what sounded like a rabid dog. The photos don't really feel true to life. The rooms are smaller, let's call them basic. The bathroom is fine. It feels like a motel room, maybe just a bit too expensive for what it really is.
• Diana (10/5): Beautiful surroundings and great place to stay. - Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Fabulous beautiful location. Quiet area. Great park in the Chartreux grounds to walk the dogs, and plenty of places to take a nice walk with them outside the park when it's closed. Although the soundproofing to the outside was great, unfortunately within the hotel it was the opposite. Our first night of a two night stay we were the only ones there and it was really quiet and we enjoyed a rest and then slept really well. Our second night we had more people staying and they were next door. We could hear them talking and moving around quite clearly even with the adjoining bathroom door closed.

• Michael (4/5): Disappointing - Nice setting. Place was nice and quiet. The photos are miss leading. Pictures only show the chateau and surrounding gardens. No access to the chateau as this is used as a wedding venue only. The hotel rooms that you actually stay in are in a separate building on the side. The set up of the rooms is more like a hostel with no coffee tea making facilities in the rooms. You have to use a communal area to make your coffee and tea. Not ideal first thing in the morning when you wake up. Breakfast was included in the price, however when we went down in the morning between the said times we are told breakfast was served. There was nobody around, and the door to the cafeteria was locked. No staff or anyone around at any time. Unfortunately would never recommend or stay here again.

Good breakfast, the lady working in the morning was very nice, overall it was a very pleasant one night stay. Too bad we didn’t have time to more explore the surroundings because in general it is very beautiful around.

Environnement un peu bruyant dû à la proximité du parc ( canards entre autre), et église ne permettant pas de laisser la fenêtre ouverte la nuit. A part ça nous avons passé un très bon séjour.
• K (8/5): Peaceful rooms in a beautiful park - Lovely peaceful location. Surrounded on three sides by a beautiful lake/park/chateau, with stables on the fourth. Set back from the toad which is screened by trees so traffic noise.. Very generous breakfast. Good value. The blinds in the room didn't shut out all the light. - had to push them into the window opening to achieve darkness. No food available in the evening, and only a take away pizzeria open in the village (however many restaurants within 25 minute drive).
