Both pools were great as well so there was plenty of room for a busy resort. The food in the restaurant was first class with a great variety to select from. En ik heb enorm genoten van het mooie uitzicht. Één stap en je bent bij de zee. En de pool is zalig. En de pooltafel was een waar genot. Heb er met een medeverblijvende persoon heerlijk potjes pool gespeeld. Het heeft wat onderhoud nodig. Echt, hier en daar wat bijwerken en dan is de locatie weer op en top.

• Bernhard (9/5): Wunderschöne und ruhige clothing optional Anlage, - Absolut traumhaft großes Grundstück, die Zimmer/Villen sind weit verteilt und auseinander. Es gibt 2 wirklich große Pools, man kan super gut drin schwimmen und das riesige Gelände lädt einfach zum Entspannen und Entschleunigen ein. Während meines Aufenthaltes war es super ruhig, es waren vielleicht die Hälfte der Villen belegt, dennoch war ich immer alleine im Pool und ich bin so gut wie niemanden begegnet dort. Wer aber auf Kontakte oder Gespräche hofft, ist dort fehl am Platz, jeder lässt jedem seinen Freiraum - und das war genau das richtige für mich. Dass die ganze Anlage "clothing optional" ist war für mich ein tolles Erlebnis: einfach frei sein, nicht überlegen was man morgens anzieht, einfach Handtuch nehmen und los gehen. Auch wenn mir eine Sache gar nicht gefallen hat (Essen): ich werde wiederkommen, auch wegen der super freundlichen und höflichen Mitarbeiter in der ganzen Anlage. Alles ist in einem etwas veralteten Zustand, allerdings sehr sauber. Schwierig fand ich das Essen: Frühstück, wie überall in Sri Lanka, sehr einfach, Abendessen war wirklich in schlechter Qualität: es hat nicht geschmeckt, egal was ich bestellt habe, man hat z.B. bei der Bolognese ganz deutlich die Mengen an Ketchup herausgeschmeckt und es war nicht gut gewürzt. Am letzten Abendessen wurde mir danach schlecht und ich konnte am folgenden Tag weder frühstücken noch sonst etwas essen, so übel war mir. Leider hat man keine anderen Möglichkeiten, da die Anlage sehr abgelegen liegt. Toll, dass es Massageangebot gibt, aber der Masseur hat so unfreundlich, ja richtig böse, gekuckt und KEIN Wort mit mir gewechselt, nicht einmal ein "Hallo", so dass ich die folgenden Tage vorzog, keine Massage mehr zu nehmen. Ich hatte auch nicht das Gefühl, dass jemand von den anderen Gästen zu dieser unfreundlichen Person geht, schade!

• Olivier (9/5): Sympathique endroit - Zen et reposant, très belles piscines où l'on peut nager à pas d'heure, et être nu et très agréable. Le jardin est magnifique, et le personnel très sympathique. Il manque un peu de déco sur les murs des chambres, ça fait un peu froid, une ambiance musicale serait vraiment un plus , le restaurant c'est un peu léger pour le prix des plats. La plage n'a pas vraiment d'intérêt.

• stefan (10/5): FKK Oase in den Tropen - Bali Au Naturel ist das einzigste FKK Resort auf Bali, vermutlich in ganz Indonesien. Völlig ungezwungen kann man hier, in einer wunderbar ruhigen Oase seine Freiheit genießen. 2 Pools und ein Restaurant laden zum Entspannen ein. Ausflüge zum Delphin watching werden super günstig und völlig untouristisch vom Manager organisiert. Hier kann man noch in ruhe, alleine Delphine beobachten. Ein Gym und die Möglichkeit zur Massage runden das Angebot ab. Viel Platz, wenige Zimmer machen hier den wunderschönen Flair einer tropischen Oase. ...
• AMB (10/5): Memorable trip, wished to have stayed longer. - The grounds are beautiful. Rooms and bathrooms are spacious, beds comfortable. Staff are all amazing and friendly. Do anything to help. The main pool was always a nice temp to get in after a bake. Good selection of food at the restaurant, never had a bad meal. They were able to organise us a scooter, wasn't the size we wanted but still did the job. Met the loveliest people while we were there. Had a snorkel off the reef outside the resort. Rubbish was alot less this trip on the beach and water, so that's a plus. Not that we didn't like but could be improved on. The bed needed a mozzie or gecko net. Few time we come back in and there was drops of gecko poo. Never got bitten by mozzie, having coils lite. A portable towel rack would have been great. To move between the bathroom or room entrance to hang pool towels, snorkelling gear, bathers etc. We had 1 towel hanger for bath towels, no hooks on doors etc. We didn't want to hang things on the pool chairs in case someone wanted to use one, felt that rude to do. Also just need new pillows, they are lumpy as. Got a stiff neck after a few nights. Not much to fault at all. Just little things that could be improved.
• Jim (10/5): BaN is not glitzy or pushy. It’s kind, comforting and well run with charming, friendly staff. - The two pools were perfect for afternoon and morning swims. The quiet was wonderful. Feeling away from outside noise was blissful. Because it’s small we felt we could be friendly if we wanted to. Food was very good. Nothing.
• Сид (10/5): Wide open space to be your uninhibited self! - Amazing staff; a green clean sprawling estate to be your 'self'; tasty food in the restaurant; facilities including pool table, gym and massage - Katut (the 4th) Arya also does the landscaping and gardening; parking if you're driving in (not advisable from DPS). I enjoyed morning walks on the sprawling grass lawns, soaking up the morning dew; dips in the pool(s) and letting the Sun dry me. There are shower-spouts placed near the pools and accommodations if you do not fancy the closed shower in the ensuite. The weather God was kind during my stay in the ensuite Bungalow (cheapest); the standard room (bigger with TV, AC and in room kettle) and delux (even bigger) may be value for moeny for a couple/group. Didn't miss anything as the reception had all day tea/coffee facility near the pool. The beach is rocky, and the ride from Denpasar was long and twisty. This is just FYI for fellow naturists and not a complaint. There are things that can be improved on... 1. Cold cuts may be added to the breakfast buffet. 2. The terrace on the restaurant can be cleaned up to create an open air beach front restaurant cum bar & bar-be-que. 3. Construction on the west side peeking over the boundary walls... so wrap up if you're shy walking up to the restaurant. 4. Some areas within the walled property (parking/office) are textile mandatory - which I felt is against the FKK principle.
• jesus (8/5): Fantastic adult and nudist resort - My first stay at Bali au Naturel was almost 20 years ago. It was a very small structure with just 3 rooms. The resort has expanded since but the atmosphere remains very intimate and quiet.There are now a few bungalows and additional rooms and swimming pool. The beach is accessible from the resort and you can witness beautiful sunsets in the early morning. It is an adult and nudist place so it was perfect for my husband and myself. The majority of the guests staying a Bali au Naturel are travelers, no tourists, with an appreciation of nature and respect of other guests privacy. There is a sense of serenity. The restaurant is very basic and the breakfast could be improved but the cook and the staff are nice and are trying their best. There is some signs of deterioration in the orders bedrooms, they will need some maintenance or a consequent remodeling. Keep in mind that this is not a`` Luxury resort`` and yes there are some defects but the real luxury is not always about the ostentatious , here is about calm, space and been able to spend the day naked close to nature.

• Carol (3/5): Not worth it just to not have to wear clothes. - It is in a beautiful natural setting. The pools are nice. The rooms were not only dated but musty and moldy. We left after a few days out of a 3 week stay forfeiting our payment. The accommodations were not good and the location is so remote that you have to walk a kilometer just to get to the main road. We like a remote location but this was even too remote for us. There is another naturist resort in Lovina about an hour away called Bali Natur and I meant to book that place. Also, the beach is stone and too difficult to walk. Lots of garbage on the beach.

• Russell (10/5): Wonderful and relaxing, lovely guests and staff, great facilities, perfect weather. - Property is beautiful, quiet and secluded and very large, rooms are spacious and charming, swimming pools are both wonderful, restaurant food for lunch and dinner is amazing, breakfast is simpler but more than adequate, staff are all lovely and very friendly. One of the best naturist resorts anywhere. Would be great if there were some organised activities, such as even just a happy hour get-together in the afternoons. It is a fairly long drive from the airport because of traffic so if you are coming off a long international flight would recommend a night or two in Legian or Seminyak beforehand.

• Brandon (8/5): Great stay for first-timers. - We had a very nice stay here. It was both of our first time at a nude hotel and it was very comfortable and friendly. The staff were great and the food was good. The rules were easy to follow. The pool was fantastic and the overall stay was what we were hoping for. It isn't the cheapest, but I'm guessing you are paying for it to be a nudist hotel. The food was also not the cheapest around, but it was very good, so worth it.

The two pools give different sun and shade exposure throughout the day. Clean spacious rooms with daily cleaning. Access to the volcanic beach and the locals. Warm and friendly intimate restaurant. Nothing was major, but perhaps a kettle in room .

We enjoyed taking our dinner plates from the restaurant out to the beach to watch the sunset while having dinner! We could imagine that perhaps this could be a lovely arrangement for the restaurant to take out a couple of tables and chairs to offer guests to have their dinner while watching the beautiful sunset! It would be simple and so easily achievable!... Just a thought!

• Jody (10/5): Excelent place to relax! - if your looking for a relaxing nudism stay away from the hustle and bustle of the the touristy part of Bali then this is your only option but it’s a great one. The staff was amazing and took great care of everything. Everything was clean and well maintained and the food was delicious! I’m a solo straight male and felt very comfortable here. there was a good mix of people from all ages, nationalities, preferences and backgrounds. The beach is right at the gate and the snorkeling was great or just to sit out in the beach and catch the nice breeze. Gas station and food options are also available within a close walk or bike ride. I would have liked to see a fan on the porch of the bungalow. It gets pretty warm back there during the day.

• 939 (10/5): Perfect. - The room far exceeded our expectations, particularly the bathroom which has no roof and is basically an outdoor setting. The food was top tier and the kitchen is open for reasonable hours, the pricing is fine for what you get. All the staff were accommodating and friendly. The pool was clean and so to were the rooms. We would certainly stay again. Couldn't really fault it.
• Hervé (8/5): Le naturisme dans un espace privilégié - Endroit très calme. Beau jardin qui va jusqu'à la plage. Personnel sympathique et discret. Bon petit restaurant. Bon à savoir :les chalets en bois sont mignons et la chambre est jolie et bien aménagée. Cependant la salle d'eau est très basique, elle est contigüe à l'autre chambre et on entend tout ! De plus, pas de clim mais un ventilateur qui ne refroidit pas la chambre en journée mais la nuit la température est bonne pour bien dormir. Les autres bungalows, plus chers, bénéficient d'un bon confort. 2 belles piscines à disposition.
• Sharon (4/5): Expensive with no trimmings - It took 3 hours from the airport, to arrive late (approx. 9.30pm) they did keep the restaurant (limited as it was) open for us. Unfortunately we didn't pay attention to the pricing as we were shocked that we could not get cocktails! One type of beer and about four choices of spirits or wine. Turns out a drink costs more than in Australia! Meal was pretty basic too and not cheap. We took a chance as we wanted to experience the 'naturalist' (clothing free) experience. We wasted our money (we had paid for another 3 nights) in a bangalow, no air-conditioning. We tried to upgrade but apparently nothing was available. I doubt there is much difference anyway as another guest should us her villa to compare. Very disappointing as I believe this is the only type of resort like this in Bali.
