- Angelica (10/5): Great location near Nizami Street - The hotel is very well located, right in the city center, close to Nizami street, Fountain Square, the promenade street, the waterfront, and other tourist destinations in Baku City. It's close to many restaurants. You don't need to take a taxi. Just walk and explore. The rooms are spacious and clean. One of our rooms got upgraded with balcony with no extra cost. The highlights of our stay were definitely the staff- very helpful, super friendly and welcoming. Overall, The price-quality ratio is quite reasonable. There is no elevator, and the stairs are quite steep. The breakfast was basic, but they were very accommodating with our request to have the scrambled or sunny side up eggs.

- Abdullah (10/5): Exceptional - It is on a prime a location, nizami street is few meters away from the hotel. Staff specifically Brother Abbas he is a honest, kind, and a helpful guy. He guided us about money exchange and about the taxi scams. The room was neat and clean. Breakfast was fresh and local I enjoyed it.

Lower floors as we can't climb those 50-60 stairs, he said they are fully booked, but in reality, it was not as there were many rooms available for this hotel on booking.com. Breakfast lady was good No elevator and room was on the 4th floor. I was sick and requested a lower floor, but Abbas excused Breakfast was poor quality Be aware that this hotel is advertising under 2 other names on booking.com with different prices. - Galina (6/5): Pleasant - Location is good, street is cozy with little supermarket nearby, with places to eat not far. Little kitchen on the floor was helpful. Clean. Spacious room. Some of the receptionists were not really helpful and even rude (when asked for help with laggage). At the arrival during the night had to wait for the remote control for AC, and for the water. One of the bed had a bad matelas, not comfortable at all. No lift, you have to carry all your luggage upstairs yourself.

One bottle of water in the room upon arrival was opened. Some hair in the corners of the carpet. The staff was nice but completely unprofessional. Hotels need more attention to detail.

- Catherine (8/5): Comfortable environment and superb location - - The breakfast served in the restaurant which is located in the hotel. It provides a sort of local cheese, ham, bread, eggs, tea, coffee and fruit juices. Though all are basic choices but with good quality. The reception staff is most welcoming, polite and helpful. He always offers coffee/tea when we arrived (even in late night =) ) . He also helped us to fix the air-con problem quickly (just the angle of the fans, not a really big problem actually). The location of the hotel is superb too - just around the corner is the Fountain Square and other major tourists spots. Nothing.

- Daniel (6/5): - The hotel was clean and the room big enough. The reception was very helpful and friendly. But here are the problems. There was no elevator and the stairs were steep. The shower space was too small. Because of this I lightly touched the faucet and it caused the water to get burning hot. I actully got burnt a bit. The toilet seat was broken. We had to go get addional towels each day. Breakfast was average at most. The tv had one station in azeri.
- Sophie (7/5): Great place to stay to be right in the tourist areas! - Loved the location, super close to everything which is in walking distance. Rooms are cleaned every day with new towels. Room felt spacious and most of the staff very helpful at the front desk. Room was super quiet so we all had a great sleep. Had to keep ringing to ask for more towels as they only put in 2 despite us being 3 people. Rooms are quite dated with carpets but we knew this upon booking which was fine. Breakfast not good, didn’t eat it as it’s all sat out and just a few pieces of cheese and bread.

And tried to charge me for something I don’t know for what exactly after our fight on reception where he even push me with his finger, as to my email came that property trying to charge money from my card on my last day of staying.

- Jasim (9/5): worth to visit again, specially with friends. - Location is very good. Staff Rashed & Abbas were very friendly & helpful. No regrets to deal with them. No elevator, i was with friends so it was ok .. however it may not be comfortable if you have family or kids.. the hotel is maximum of 3 levels .. so it was ok . The second thing is the breakfast, it requires enhancement.

Mr.Rasheed and his colleagues were extremely helpful. 2. Even helpful in managing the local tour too. 1.break fast spread is very limited and could be improved. 2.No lift in the building… but not a problem. Hotel staff is extremely helpful in all aspects.

The wifi in the room didn't work for the most of time The hotel is a pedestrian street, so you cannot take the taxi there but you need to go to the main street.

Just walk and explore. The hotel price, including breakfast, is reasonable for tourists who only need a place to stay. The staff is kind and courteous (reception, chief, cleaners). The hotel can accommodate private tours, which we did. It was an awesome experience with good hotel management under the leadership of Mr. Rashid, who is very supportive of our needs. Hotel situated in Nizami street, which is center of tourist activities. All restaurants and bars a nearby. All hotel staff is very cooperative but the manager Rasheed and a nigh shift person Fareed were the best to interact with. Love to stay here again with the family.

- Michael (9/5): Superb - This is a genuine Azerbaijani hotel. The bar and restaurant are frequented by locals and prices are more than reasonable. Perfectly situated and staff are eager to please. WiFi signal not great. Fine for mails, WhatsApp etc but not for films. As is the case everywhere in Baku people smoke in bar/restaurant.
