The owner/operator is on site and does the breakfast cooking ... simply amazing place and great value! The pics looked really inviting but does not quite capture how great the place is. Noting really, its Jessup GA so the limitations are not in the owners control.

- Nancy (10/5): The Trowell Historic Inn exceeded our expectations for its friendliness, cleanness and charm. - The host artfully presented a meal of fruit, bacon, scrambled eggs and freshly prepared coffee cake in the well-appointed Victorian dining room. He joined us at the table and told us about the area and its amenities.

We felt instantly at home in the property, sadly the owners were - We loved this property, it was full of old world charm and had an amazing atmosphere. Our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Great breakfast. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about this property.
- Jonna (9/5): Superb - The room was well appointed and had all that was needed for a comfortable stay. Our hostess, Pam, was a joy to visit with. We were surprised with the unexpected option of visiting her husband's Brewery, which was just a few blocks away from the Inn. We may make a trip back just to be able to spend more than one night there. My only suggestion would be to have more pillow options. Some like firmer, while others prefer more fluffy.

The location was a short walk to the downtown area, and we enjoyed that. We also enjoyed the beautiful backyard. Nothing.

- Dorothy (10/5): Cruising through Jessup - The outdoor seating on front porch as well as garden and pool seating out back for a pleasant happy hour. Easy walking distance for an excellent craft beer at the innkeeper's brewery and tasty Caribbean restaurant in historic downtown. Our nautical themed room suited us boaters with coffee maker and refrigerator, comfy bed and huge sit in tiled shower. Our innkeepers were outgoing and made for a charming stay with a delicious breakfast. What's not to like! We look forward to staying there again on our way to the boatyard in Virginia and maybe trying the ax throwing at the brewery!
- Joye (10/5): Beautiful house, beautiful hosts. - Pam and John were fantastic. My pocketbook with all my money $450, all identification, everything was gone and I had a flat tire. John pumped it back up. Pam added fifty dollars to my bill so I would have a little money. The house is beautiful. Another good thing, someone turned my pocketbook in at Walmart. Happy ending. I am 73 so I had to be very careful on the stairs.

We were advised to watch for the corner of the bed well I got a bruise for not taken that advice. Mattress was very uncomfortable we did sink in the middle together.

- Padgett (10/5): Our brief stay was the perfect respite during our quick visit to Jesup, GA, for a family wedding. - Breakfast was very nice and the conversation with other guests was enjoyable. However, it was the service of the owners that was exceptionally pleasant going well beyond our expectations! I cannot imagine any improvements other than a longer stay!

- Levette (10/5): Lovely B&B - The B&B was an adorable house filled with eclectic pieces that begged you to stop and explore. It's quaint with lovely accommodations and in a fantastic location within walking distance to a vibrant downtown. The owner is super friendly and makes the best breakfast!! Bonus, is the front porch which has rocking chairs so you can watch the cars and walkers pass by. Will Def return!!

- Judith (10/5): When traveling to a small town with limited hotels that meet your quality to stay, going with the Bed and Breakfast home - I absolutely loved the vintage meets comfy charm and the fact Trowell Inn as a historic landmark right in the center of downtown. The extra charm our hostess put into everything from the curb appeal to the fall decor. Waking up to freshly made coffee to “what would you like” breakfast. My sisters and I will be back in December, and we can’t wait to see the holiday decorations! I’m very picky when it comes to booking a place to call home when away from home. I truly can say that there wasn’t anything I disliked about the property.
