We stayed in the Sentinal Dome Suites and it was incredible! The bed was so comfy and all the amenities were up to the highest standard. The owners were also wonderful! There is even a game room with pool and ping pong tables. It is about 90 minutes from Yosemite. Lots of winding roads to the park. Would stay here again. Very rrsponsive hosts also.

Beyond that, the hostess was lovely, gave us lots of information about the area and the park and helped us plan our time in the area. The only thing is that it is written that the stay includes breakfast but it is not really breakfast. They put breakfast snacks in the room. For us everything was perfect!

We only had one day and her tips helped ensure we managed to see everything we wanted. We stayed in the Panorama Trail, 2 adults and 2 teenagers. So much space, very clean, they have thought of everything. Great games room. You get a continental breakfast, which is handy as you can take it with you to the park. It was an hour and 10 minutes drive to Yosemite. Best accommodation we have stayed in, highly recommend.

• Linda (10/5): Great secluded place with lots of extras - Great place. The location is secluded and very quiet. The room was very nicely decorated, with many thoughtful details. The owners/managers were very responsive and offered many helpful tips. They even had hiking poles which we could borrow for our hikes in Yosemite. Within a ten minute drive, there are a number of restaurant choices. Breakfast is fruit and Danishes/muffins - if you want a hot breakfast you can use the mircowave. There's also a BBQ and game room (man cave) with many activities.

The innkeeper Kathy greeted us and spent considerable time telling us about the area, answering questions and making recommendations. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The furnishings were top notch and the fruit, muffins, snacks and coffee in the room were appreciated. We were able to use the microwave on the property to heat up some leftover carryout which saved us a meal. It was quiet and comfortable. It was perfect for the two of us. We would definitely return.

Excited to come and visit again and try the room with large bath tub! Employee was very helpful and knowledgeable of Yosemite park and gave us a lot if helpful tips.
• Loyd (10/5): Family friendly home away from home - We absolutely loved staying here! The place was beautiful and safe! Our kids loved the playroom with games and even movies to borrow. The deck was amazing! After days of traveling and eating out it was so wonderful to grill some chicken on the grill and eat on the deck. There is no full oven but they do have a full fridge and toaster oven. Grab and go breakfast was provided in our room with fruits, muffins, pastries, granola bars, and juice in the fridge. The notes that were provided about visiting Yosemite were so helpful. Definitely our favorite place we stayed on this trip.
• David (10/5): Gem near Yosemite. - Arrived after long drive from Vegas and this place was just what we needed. The accommodation was first class and very clean. The host was very welcoming and answered any questions we had about the accommodation and visiting Yosemite. We enjoyed the evenings just sat on the balcony enjoying the solitude of the area. If ever in the area again we would not hesitate in staying here again.
• Graham (10/5): Visit ro Mariposa grove. - Can't rave about this place too much it's a fantastic place to stay. We wished we were staying longer as was amazing. Karen who booked us in was lovely as well. Had all the amenities and more. Even had little breakfast bit's for us. The coffee was amazing. Shower fantastic give everything 10 out of 10 . And with it being so hot the bonus was lovely air con and ceiling fan's. Had a deer come and say hello in garden. Would 100% stay here again.

They also have a large garage area converted into a games room and BBQs that you are free to use. The price was also really good as it was cheaper than normal hotels but felt more like a home.

• SeRita (8/5): - The property is very nice, cute, almost like having a studio apartment. Karen was so nice and accommodating for our 10:30pm check in. My issue with the staff, we came back from a day of hiking only to find our front door was left wide open from the housekeeper. I did call to report it. They call it a refresh, basically just made the bed and took the trash. Positive they hung up the same towels we used they smelled stale the day we arrived. The bed and pillows were just ok. The little continental breakfast was cute and coffee in the room, very thoughtful. The toiletries they supply are good name brand, not the cheap little ones you would get at a hotel. Overall I would stay here again, just a few small things to improve. Karen, thank you for your hospitality and how kind you were. There is nothing to do in the area, so if that is your expectation-you will need to drive at least 8 miles for a store.

The property was SUPER clean and had plenty of space, views, amenities. The game room was a nice touch and wish we had the time to utilize it. We were in the Panorama Trail suite which was awesome for many reasons… the soaker tub, large shower were great. The blackout shades for the days you want to sleep in we’re absolutely fantastic. The propane BBQ grill was a great feature. My only regret was having to check out and go back to reality! I hope we are able to catch this place still available when we come back to Yosemite.

The architecture, the furniture and everything is overdone! The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, seriously everything is a 10!!! They provided us with breakfast goodies for our two day stay, the Internet was fast and my wife and and family will only stay here from now on! This was our very first trip to Yosemite, it is perfectly located and the owners are super friendly and accommodating and hands down so much better then staying in a hotel!!!

Ku husband and I really enjoyed the ability to bbq, the kids really enjoyed the game room, and we all enjoyed the fire pit. We loved our stay so much we already booked our spring trip to stay here. We stay in the Panorma Trail Suite, it is spacious, clean and perfect for big families.

• Florante (10/5): Inn the woods. - Chose this hotel because of the recommendation and great review and it did not disappoint. The room was huge compared to any hotel I've been. The drive to Yosemite was pretty far from the location but it's worth it when you're back to your room. The inn is 30 minutes away from the Southgate entry of Yosemite but another hour just to get to the Yosemite village to park your vehicle. Overall in the end of the day it's a nice inn to come home to from a long day of hiking... quiet, secluded, and a place to relax.

• John (10/5): - It was the nicest remote suite I have ever stayed at. There was a parking spot for each of the 3 suites. Unfortunately, the last couple of days, 2 SUV carloads of noisy foreigners moved in to the suite next door and occupied 2 of the 3 parking spots.
• Anjum (10/5): - Very comfortable, spacious and well anointed. The panorama trail suite was perfect for 3 of us. And the attached terrace is perfect.

• Nicole (10/5): - My husband and I decided to stay here for our 10 year anniversary. We stayed for 4 nights and it was the best place we have ever stayed! Clean, comfortable, everything was perfect. The owners make sure you are well taken care of and even have a binder available in your room with clear directions on what to do in Yosemite and how to get there. We were very pleased with our stay there and enjoyed playing ping pong in the evenings in Mike’s Mancave. We will definitely be staying again in the future and will recommend it to everyone heading up that way.

• Eric (10/5): - Inn the woods is literally in the woods! Its quiet and only a couple of suites are there so not a bunch of people. The suite is amazing with a fireplace and soaker tub and the most amazing rustic bathroom! We love it there and go every year now around our anniversary.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Awesome stay close to Yosemite - Stayed here for a trip to Yosemite. The host, Kathy, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the park. Her recommendations came in very handy. After long days of hikes we thoroughly enjoyed the fireplace and spacious suite. They also had breakfast pastries and coffee available in the room which was another great feature.
• Richard (10/5): - Our extended family of 6 had a nice stay in the 2-bedroom unit. It was very well-furnished, well-maintained, very clean, spacious, and very comfortable. There are beds for 7, including full and twin sleeper sofas in the living room. It was less expensive than 2 rooms at nearby hotels. It is 1.5 hours to Yosemite Valley. It is isolated, very quiet, and 15 minutes to Oakhurst. There is a large patio balcony with nice views of the woods and mountains. The unit has 1.5 baths, and only having 1 shower was a little inconvenient. The included breakfast was packaged muffins, bars, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, and juice left in our room. The staff woman was very nice and efficient.

• Kristina (10/5): Gorgeous Inn - This was an amazing place to stay while visiting Yosemite! The innkeepers were lovely, and they thought of everything. The room had great touches of its location with photos of the park and cute bear and cabin decorations. The fridge was stocked with yogurts and juices, and there was a basket filled with fruit and pastries. We made food on the grill and sat on the private patio area enjoying life. Forest fires prevented us from truly enjoying every part of Yosemite, but the stay was still worth it in the end, and we will definitely be returning!
• Lindsey (10/5): Beautiful, comfy, and clean! - My friends and I had an amazing stay at Inn The Woods! The room was immaculately clean and super comfy. Kathy was really sweet and very helpful. I would absolutely stay here again - it was perfect!
• William (10/5): - This is a beautiful freshly decorated property in a gorgeous location. Kathy and team were welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. We will always remember sitting on the deck after a hard day's hiking in Yosemite looking out over the hills and listening to the crickets. Magical!

It’s equipped with everything you might possibly need for a comfortable stay. There are supermarkets and a few restaurants within a 12 minute drive which are also on the way to the park. Friendly and responsive hosts. Great value and highly recommend.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - We loved this place! It’s spacious, quaint and intimate. Not far from food and civilization. Less than 30min drive into Yosemite park. Sherilee was very friendly and informative. We loved her recommendation of gojng to Bass Lake. Easy check in and out process. The suite itself was well equipped and loved the idea of having a snack / breakfast basket in the kitchen. We absolutely loved this place and would definitely come back here when we return to Yosemite.
• Andrew (10/5): So impressed! Great family fun! - This was the our last stay of a 14 day west coast road trip and it was the absolute! Our favorite stay because of all the family activities: we played ping pong, pool, shuffle board, and so much more. I have never stayed in a more beautiful and more well maintained property. So impressed!
