Guest Reviews
- Verdugo (7/5): -
- Robert (7/5): Good - It was good for the money, close to everything
- Gautier (8/5): Very good -
- Marco (2/5): Very poor -
- Evan (10/5): Wonderful hotel in central Merida. Affordable, great location, clean, comfortable, great staff. - Excellent helpful and friendly staff. Clean rooms. Comfortable beds. Cannot beat the location, right on the square. Not much, it was a pretty awesome experience. Lack of hot water but not very important in Yucatan temperatures.
- Evan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jose (7/5): Good - Well. Is close to everything. The bathroom and shower is not really .good.
- Patricia (8/5): Good location - The hotel staff was very friendly, attentive and helpful
- Frank (7/5): Good - Sweet little hotel in a perfect central location, from which you can explore Merida on foot. It is not really quiet, especially if you stay in the rooms facing the street.
- Reece (7/5): Good -
- Jakob (6/5): Pleasant -
- Sally (6/5): Would stay again for location and value, and aware of sparse amenities. - Amazing location next to Cathedral and town square. Town square very lively, food options, and full of activity. I wish I’d stayed on a Fri, as it sounds like there is even more Mayan-specific festivities happening on the square. Very basic accommodations. Two double beds, one was comfortable but the second was painfully soft.
- Martina (7/5): It was a fine place - Location is great, right on the main square. We stayed just one night, so it was fine. But the rooms are old and outdated, lines were not that clean, room was humid and a bit uncomfortable.
- Annabelle (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arriaga (8/5): Very good - ....

- Zoraida (5/5): Passable - The location They need to add in description that there’s no hot water also the daily noise level, needs to be specified that’s is a daily problem not only during holidays. ( lots of ants )
- Party (8/5): Very good -
- Party (9/5): Superb -
- Gino (7/5): Rooms in Merida Centro with Tours - The location is near tours, bus, and resto...very good if you are travelling a lot. We booked 2x day tours with them. The 1st day they put us in non- english speaking guide so lots of confusion as we don't speak spanish. The 2nd tour we only went to 2 cenotes (humonja and chulul) we paid to go to three cenotes. Not very organized.
- Vera (6/5): Pleasant - The location is awesome close to the bus station and to the historical buildings. Not noisy The small windows in the top of the room- kinda unusual and not that comfortable. The lighting is too strong.
- Patrick (8/5): Old-fashioned, enormous room in an exceptionally ugly building, but practical! - It couldn’t be more central. The windows look out onto the side of the cathedral. There’s loads of space, but the staff didn’t see fit to lend me a chair, so the only option was to sit on the bed.
- Luigi (8/5): Very good - Very central hotel, walking distance from every interesting place in town Somehow you have to guess where the entrance of the hotel is and, I would have preferred a room with a window. The room itself was acceptable
- Caroline (6/5): Pleasant - Just on the side of the cathedrale (so it was noisy the night but I didn't mind). Drinkable water bootle, fridge, I could let my backpack in the storage room after checking out. The bed was not great at all, I woke up with a pain in my back/shoulder that I still have 1 week later, since it was at the beginning of my trip it's too bad. No hot water (not a problem when you take your shower the evening but cold water is not so enjoyable in the morning) but I
- Orion (4/5): Avoid it if you are sensitive to noise and smell - The personal was very welcoming and we appreciated being able to store our bags while visiting the city on the day of our departure. The location is good, right at the center and also not far by foot from the bus station. The room was right next to the hall, and even if signs indicate to be quiet and respect guests' sleep, we often heard people speaking loud in the middle of the night. The two windows are very thin, such that the noise and the heat can easily pass through. The worst part was a horrible smell coming from the sink in the room, and even worse in the bathroom, which woke us in the middle of the night and forced us to open all windows. It was impossible to ignore it and we find it incredible that the personal doesn't realize how a nuisance it can be and doesn't do anything about it.
- Ja (3/5): Poor - Good location, but noisy
- Margarita (10/5): Easy check in. Comfortable clean room. - Very clean and right by city center Everything good.
- Sean (8/5): Very good -
- Klaus (7/5): This is a good place to stay for one or two nights. - It was so close to lots of different tourist attractions like the Cathedral and the art gallery and the Merida Central Park. So much to enjoy in terms of shopping and access to tours . The room had natural lighting but there was no view of anything as shown in the pictures. This was was former hostel. The open air roof is closed. There was at times loud conversations from the front desk between 6 and 9 am and from other guests starting out early. One morning at 9 am I was woken by hammering. This is a really a small hotel on the second floor and it is not a place to sleep in. Perhaps the main office could be relocated to one of the rooms to cut down on noise.
- Gabriela (8/5): Very good -
- Delphine (10/5): Great location - Central spot, great staff, spacious and luminous bedrooms. A/C in the corridor was loud but since it was 28°C outside I can't say this was a drawback as we needed it sooooo badly!!
- Joke (8/5): Very good - The room was spacious with clean bathroom and comfy bed. Staff was very friendly. Location was superb. Other guests were a little noisy in early morning. First morning there was hot water in the shower, next morning none.
- Elias (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gaboriau (8/5): Very good -
- William (8/5): Very good -
- Merari (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (8/5): nice sinple tourist hotel. - Centrally located tourist hotel. Friendly staff, rooms ar ok. Mine didnt have a window, which was fine as it kept the heat out. no complaints.
- Liam (10/5): Excellent stay! - The greatest location ever. Really. A perfect base to discover the city and all surrounding areas.
- Fabio (8/5): Nice place for cheap price - Perfect location for the city centre Parking available only at certain hours, not 24h open.
- Adam (8/5): Very good - The location is absolutely perfect, right in the heart of the city. The hotel also runs tours to every possible place of interest in the area, so you can organise everything in one place.
- Jean-étienne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Manuel (8/5): The perfect independent hotel in the center of everything - Spotlessly clean, quiet room across from the Cathedral and steps from the grand plaza in a small, independent hotel with very congenial staff. Perfect a/c plus ceiling fan in the room We loved everything. The area is so much to our liking that we never left it during our stay. Can't think of a thing.
- Julien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julien (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): nice and comfortable - location and comfortable the product they use to clean ha a bad smell. bathroom amenities can improve
- Rogelio (7/5): Good -
- Terina (10/5): Very happy - thank you! - We loved it here! So nice to be right next to the cathedral and town square. We would love to come back!
- Hiten (7/5): Nice place in city centre - Clean, comfortable room.
In centre, close to restaurants, cafes and transport hubs.
Strong WiFi.
Fridge in room.
Hot water for shower. Didn't bother me, but be prepared that they check the room before checking you out. Assume that they are ensuring the towels and remote controls are not checking out by mistake.
- Fabio (6/5): Pleasant -
- Suhail (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mathieu (5/5): Passable - one individual room on the main street, extremely noisy, workers working till 10.30 pm, bathroom was clean but stinking from the pipes, barely slept overall
- Markus (8/5): Very good - Great accomodation right in the center of Mérida
- Sarah (8/5): Nice stay. - Good location.. central but still pretty quiet. Our room did not really have an outside window but was otherwise clean and comfy!
- Nina (8/5): perfect place if you want to stay in center for good value of money. - perfect location we needed to pay by cash in advance (in pesos) the staff did not speak english. we really missed something to put on stuff or to hang it.
- Fiona (9/5): Great place to stay in Central Mérida - Great location and excellent value for money. Room serviced every day.
- Bonnie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eduardo (7/5): Clean and well located but no free parking if you arrive at night. - The hotel is well located, opposite the cathedral. Clean and there is always someone to attend. A/C and cable system worked very well. There is a refrigerator in the entrance area, I suppose it can be used, although I did not ask. They accept credit cards or cash. The free parking lot only accepts entrances until the beginning of the night. I had to pay for another parking which increased the price of the room a lot. If I had known, another hotel with parking would have been better, even if it was more expensive. The hotel sign is not easily seen because it is small. You have to climb stairs to get to the rooms.
- Sergio (3/5): Poor -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- N-forever (4/5): Smells and temperature - The building is old, and lack of maintenance. The first room assigned to me had mold, walls very duty, and the smell of humidity was very strong. I asked for another room and the smelly feet odor was penetrated. The bathrooms had a smell of draining water and the temperature was very hot making it hard to breathe. The sheets were not clean. I found another room in a hotel for the same price and it was excellent.
- Patricia A (10/5): awesome experience - We were very happy. Clean rooms, awesome bathrooms, towels and locks for lockers supplied. Fantastic breakfast! Only drawback was parking car anout five blocks away.
- Eunhee (10/5): - It was a great stay. If I could I wouldn't leave.
