• David (4/5): - This is the worst place we have ever stayed in. Unfortunately we had prepaid for a five night stay. We were greeted by a lady in a dressing gown at 4:15pm who showed us the room and said it was a continental breakfast and there was a fridge we could put our milk in. This is a residential bungalow with the lounge used for the breakfast room. The following morning the went for breakfast to find there was a kettle with no water in it, a toaster but no bread. there were no yogurts, fruit juice, meats, cheese and if we had not bought milk we would not have been able to have a cupper or cereal. So I went and bought some bread and water and kept it in our room and marked the milk up with our room number that I put in the fridge. There was some fruit in a bowl on the table with apples and shrivelled up grapes in it. There were some small packets of cereal which we took advantage of however nothing was replenished during the stay so we did without on the last day. After breakfast we left the bowls, plates and cups on the table, then when we came back at 9:00pm they were still there. After booking in, we never saw anybody from place all the time we were there. Nothing was cleaned on a daily basis, the breakfast room was not touched by the owners, you could tell because the crumbs were still on the table the following day. If it wasn't for another resident washing some of the pots up in his room we would have run out of clean cups and dishes after the second day. Not a 3* accommodation.
• Raymond (8/5): - A very nice landlady could not do a enough to make you feel at home.It was Summer time but it was cold and she put the heating on for us
• Skye (10/5): - The host was very hospitable. There was a living room/dinning room area for guest to use, complete with a small fridge to keep food. There was a well functioning TV in the bedroom as well as one in the common space. The beach was walking distance and if you like soccer they have a league very close to catch a game. The beach is beautiful and there are lots of restaurants and shops along the waterfront. We had a lovely time and will definitely be back to visit here again.

• Kitty (8/5): - Pleasant, convenient, easy walking distance to beautiful beaches, dunes & town harbor area. Comfortable shared lounge area with use of the common fridge. Very friendly, helpful staff. Would definitely stay again.

• Jennifer (10/5): - The B&B was in a nice neighborhood and walking down to the restaurants on the promenade was quick and easy. The room was well proportioned and as this is a seaside town, there were notes in the bathroom to not worry about slower drainage. We had ordered breakfast (you can stay without having breakfast if you do not want it). I did comment about some additional items that would be nice and they did comment that they were open to preparing eggs or special dietary needs items with forewarning. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and had a nice chat with the owner in the morning. She was quite friendly and helpful.

• Mark (4/5): A bit of a disappointment - Booked a family.room on a bed and breakfast basis for 3 nights.. Given details for entering/checking in, a contactless system safe key. No major issues apart from never seeing anyone and not receiving a breakfast which was in our room rate . We would never have booked if it did not include breakfast. I've written a number of reviews over the years and this my first which is a little negative. We informed the b and b or should that be simply B , that we were leaving a day early. We tried calling hotel on phone number on hotel.com app page, but didn't get through. I believe hotel.com had same problem. I did message and received a reply a few hours later. I asked for a refund for 3rd night but was told no , however they are going to refund breakfast. Attitude and customer service very disappointing. No apologies for not being served breakfast and no understanding of how important breakfast was to working guys before a working day. Attitude very disappointing .
