Guest Reviews
- Jinghua (7/5): Good - Excellent location, very close to BTS and Eastern Bus Station. The toilet smells bad downstairs. And the bed wasn’t very comfortable.
- Shawn (8/5): Very good - A pleasant place. Close to BTS, restaurants. Clean rooms, lovely staff, and very comfortable!
- Rachael (5/5): Good location, maybe not the best value - Good location Windowless room
- Elena (8/5): Very good -
- Elaine (10/5): Quick stay , perfect stop off for a sleep , weed shop next door . - Bed and pillow awesome . Good shower , AC was superb . Nothing
- Jobele (9/5): Good second time stay - They allowed us to check in late and checkout early. I didn't see other guests except for 1 time. Overall good stay for the price. A bit of a walk to the nearest convenience store and mall. Though there are several eateries and cafes right outside the street, they close early though.
- Catherine (8/5): Very good -
- Wuit (6/5): It was ok. I wished the room get cleaned in alternative days though. - It was close to BTS so it was convenient. The rate is ok since it's a hostel.
It was decently clean and they allow late check-ins as well. A quiet place. We were given 4 bottles of water and that was it. They do changing the towel and cleaning the room every 3 days so it wasn't that pleasant to stay with the trash in the room. Had a challenging time with AC remote as we couldn't turn the AC off. The staffs were ok but not that kind of friendly types, maybe because they don't speak English, I don't know.
- Tomasz (3/5): Poor -
- Pang (9/5): Excellent and affordable place to stay. - Location quiet enough.
There’s laundry and restaurants nearby.
Just 350m away from BTS. Water a bit weak but it’s quite typical throughout Bangkok.
- Anonymous (10/5): Very nice - Room big enough and bathroom nice and clean
Tv with working HDMI A little bit hard to lock the door
- Mawa (6/5): Pleasant - The air-conditioning is cool and wifi is fast & trying connection 1. The bed spring has softened so I have to sleep only on one-side of the bed
2. The walls are thin, so you can hear guests talking in the reception area (ground floor)
- Pondsinee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ong (9/5): Superb - Location Bathroom
- Siena (8/5): Very good -
- Siena (8/5): Very good -
- Pondsinee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kwuang (9/5): Superb - Location is great, close to 2 BTS stations Would like to have a small desk but that is just me nitpicking. The bed is a bit too hard for my liking.
- Anton (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pondsinee (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeff (7/5): One night and that’s all. - Get your own room for a decent price. Next to a great weed store with very nice employees and lounge The television is from 2005. The guy who does the night shift talks very loudly and plays loud videos off his phone. I had to tell him 3 times. Don’t stay on the bottom floor - the be quiet sign - means nothing to no one. And it’s a very echoey place.
- Shoichi (6/5): - Next time to be better
- Pondsinee (9/5): Superb -
- Sheris (8/5): Very good -
- Yair (8/5): Very good - Clean & nice staff, helped us with taxi to the airport early morning, before public transportation. Free tea & coffee, refrigirator for the guests. Very basic accomodation.
- Corinne (8/5): Very good - Room was quiet, great window, a/c worked great. Staff was very kind and helpful. There is a desk, chair, nightstand, and shelf in the room. Good location near sky train station and food markets and malls. Bed was a bit hard and the water in the bathroom would go in and out of very high pressure or medium pressure every few seconds. Not a big deal, but the shower head would shoot in random directions when the pressure would raise
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- German (10/5): Exceptional -
- Faye (7/5): Budget friendly hostel. Clean and quiet. - This place is super convenient because it's right by the train station and there are tons of restaurants nearby. It’s okay for me
- Serene (9/5): This sufficient property met all of my needs. - The Little Pig is located in a quiet friendly community. The host of the property was kind and attentive. I highly recommend. I really enjoyed the patio area. It was ideal to work on my computer and see the sunrise.
- Anonymous (10/5): Exceptional -
- Frances (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garth (6/5): Pleasant -
- Lailani (6/5): For a cheap price all i can say it is a good value for money. Could have been perfect if they gave us a room woth a win - The property is near to a BTS station. The room that was assign to us does not have a single window. Feels too claustrophobic and we can not tell where its already morning till we look at out clock.
- Hitesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Under my expectations - Slept here 1 night, needed to take off shoes in entry, could not wear shoes to my room
I know it was a cheap hotel so I did not expect it to be good, but the room was a lot more filthy than I thought
There were spider webs in the room and bathroom, but I didn’t se any spiders or bugs witch was good. No window in room, dark blue pained walls and dim lights made the room feel like a prison cell. Bed felt like sleeping on a sheet of play wood. The bedsheets, blanket and pillow had big brown/yellow stains. Room was not sound proof, woke up 6 am of screaming baby. Power-Outlets did not work
Positive things about hotel was the location, ac worked, hot water in shower
If you have low standards it’s okay to sleep here one night, but I would never come here for a longer stay
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Manikandan (10/5): Exceptional - Good Good
- Yang (7/5): Reasonable price, good for leisure or solo travellers - Staffs were friendly, waited for me till even I checked in real late (1am in the morning). I like the small pantry outside, you can make coffee, tea, with a microwave and toaster. You can also buy cup foods and some drinks, just put your money in the box. Totally self service.
Price is very reasonable for what I got Bed sheet, pillow case and blanket can be cleaner. I found large spot of yellow stains on them.
Located in between 2 BTS stations, walking distance but not super near. And strangely this portion of the road have no 7-11, Lawson or Family Mart. Gonna walk 8-15 minutes to get one.
- Mohamad (10/5): definitely will come again next time - great location! near to BTS. got marijuana shop and halal restaurant for muslim travellers just next to the hotel. 7eleven lil bit far. about 15-20mnts walking distance.
- Asya (10/5): Exceptional - A clean and functional room. Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient transportation and a shopping mall with a lot of food options nearby. I wish there were more hangers in the room. Also, there is no lift.
- Paul (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (7/5): Good -
- Juuso (8/5): Very good -
- Maharat (8/5): Very good - The staff were great and the room was good
- Kwang (8/5): Wonderful staff, Great location! - i was so pleased to have met Mr. Sam at check in and Miss Evelyn at reception. They were very accommodating when i had to change rooms and always greeted me with a smile- sometimes even sharing their fruits with me and spending time to explain Thailand attractions. i was initially apprehensive of the location of The Little Pig but within the first days was very pleased to find out how ideal it was from the MRTs stations, Gateway mall, Korean Restaurants and especially the multiple food carts and marts on the same street. To be honest- the only "bad" thing to say about the LP is the water pump on the first floor made more noise than i am used to when sleeping.
- Mabella (8/5): it's a good place to stay in the sukhumvit area with a great price! - great location, 5 minutes walk to nearest BTS and there are family mart, thai massage, small restaurant nearby. staffs were friendly and helpful! room was spacious enough for three of us, all basic necessities were there. the bed was quite hard but okay. no major issues when we're staying there.
- Eduardo (8/5): Very good - Location and staff. Rooms should be cleaned daily. Too hot during the day.
- Fabio (7/5): Good stat just ehenI switched to double bedroom. - It eas fair I suggest to avoid single room. It is so small. And 1st floor is so noisy ‘cause the water pumo. I switched to double bedroom at third floor and it was much better.
- Robert (5/5): Concrete-hard bed and diesel-engine-loud air conditioner made sleep difficult, if not impossible. - Good location. Near two BTS stations and a mall.
The room was clean. The bed was too hard to sleep on. I ended up sleeping on a small sofa's fold-out mattress on the floor, which also wasn't particularly comfortable, but better than sleeping on the bed,
The air conditioner made the loudest racket of any air conditioner I've ever used, much too loud to allow me to fall asleep. But without AC on, the room quickly became hot and stuffy.
The room, especially the bathroom, was infested with tiny ants.
There was no fridge in the room, though there was a common fridge in the lobby.
- Jinjuta (9/5): Superb -
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - nice central location, not far from the sky train, very clean and tidy, good value for money
- Lytice (8/5): Very good -
- Riniwelly (8/5): Very good - The staff is awesome The light is not bright enough
- Wendy (8/5): We would still come back - The staff were nice, welcoming and helpful.
The rooms were very clean.
There's free water, coffee and tea at the reception.
There were food stalls and restaurants nearby.
You can walk for 10 mins to the night market, or 5 mins to the shopping center. We stay there for 6 nights, but we couldn't use the Internet in the rooms, and it didn't get fixed until the day we left.
The water bumped every single time anyone in the house used water. I personally was afraid to use water because I didn't want to wake people up. But the noise didn't really bother us, as we slept like a baby.
- Steve (6/5): Ok place if you get a room with a good bed - I needed a place for one day night near the bus station so this was a good location. This was the worst hotel bed I've slept in in the last 15 years or so. The bed was saggy and I could feel the coils.
- Rakel (9/5): Superb -
- Ludivina (8/5): Pinay review - Close to the train station
Walking distance to a mall & hospital
Near the main road
Staff accommodating
On the same street you can buy cooked food at a resonable price 7-11 a little far
- Robert (8/5): Very good -
- Seiya (2/5): Very poor - Staff is okay, Not enough clean and very old building.
Room is very dark and no sunshine comes in.
Mattress is very hard and i was not able to sleep.
If the price is cheap acceptable but the price is middle price
- Farzana (5/5): Average hotel, good for 1 night stay if you're in budget. - Very small cozy place. Location is very near to Ekkamai bus terminal which was very convenient for us for traveling to pattaya the next day. They tried to keep the place clean. No outside shoes allowed inside the hotel. No elevator. Stairs are very steep. Bathroom shower area has no separate zone, so if you take a shower, the whole bathroom is wet. No sandal/shoe for the bathroom, which made it very hard to use the toilet when the whole bathroom was wet with water. No handwash provided in toilet. Bed's mattress wasn't very comfortable. The room was very small and not enough light in the room. The hotel is situated in a very narrow street.
- Ludivina (9/5): Pinay review - Walking distance from the phra khanong station. Near sukhumvit hospital and gateway mall. Accessible to terminal 21 mall(asok station) . Chatuchak is also accesible by train. Holy redeemer chruch is just a few station away and around 5-7mins walk. Central world is also just a few station away and would also bring you to a near by BIG C supermarket. A coffee shop and a bar just a few steps. A bonus for us is a filipina working at the hostel ate evelyn that makes everything easy. I would probably say i will stay there again. You need to use the walkway to get to the nearest family mart that is across the main street. The 7-11 is a little bit far but the neighbors sells food that are good and cheap. A chinese/thai man cooks hot meals 3 to 4 houses away like a carinderia setting. You have to pay in cash since credit card is not available for the moment. Shoes are allowed only up to the entrance so please bring your own house slipper but they do provide.
- Nargis (5/5): Passable -
- Laura (7/5): Good - Evelyn was very welcoming. Use of fridge.
- Chengkam (8/5): Very good -
- Andrei (9/5): Superb -
- Alex (10/5): Slept like a little pig! - Great Hostel just off the main Road in Sukhumvit. The check in was easy and room was nice and clean. Bed was nice and comfy! Nothing
- David (8/5): Very good -
- David (6/5): Pleasant -
- Jonel (10/5): Great - Very nice hotel. Very secured and organized. It is so far from the main attractions like the temples but I think it is our fault since we didnt research the location well.
- Chetana (9/5): Superb -
- Javier (6/5): Pleasant -
- Chetana (9/5): Superb -
- Jon (6/5): Pleasant - Nice staff and location. Rooms were good and spacious as well. Bad pressure from the sink and shower
Ants in the room and on the bed
- George (9/5): 4 Story comfy hostel type motel with private baths and rooms. Very close to the sky train. - Like the central location and simplicity of the guest house. Very private and they encourage guests to be quiet which is great. Great Value. Can't really complain much at all. Wouldn't have minded living there a while longer.
- Jorge (3/5): Only cash hotel. - Good location They don’t take credit cards, only cash. That makes it more expensive.
- Cdn_jay (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louis (7/5): Great location & great price. - I like this place. Good option for an affordable stay in Bangkok. If you're just in the city for a few days or you know you're gonna be spending most of your time not at the hotel, this place is great! Very convenient to get to on public transit: Its located right next to a BTS skytrain station which making it ideal to get to and from the airport and to different destinations in Bangkok. I took the different public trains from Don Muang Airport to get there--piece of cake. And taking the train from the Little Pig to get to BKK airport was also super easy. The staff were down to earth and friendly. They recommended a good a cheap spot just around the corner to get some food too. I also really like this neighborhood. Its far enough away from the main touristy stuff downtown and has a nice vibe. Room had a nice AC too. There were ants! Store your food in the kitchenette space on the first floor.
- Sheris (8/5): Very good -
- Vanlalrinliani (7/5): Good - No closet or drawer for hanging cloths
- Castellanos (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Thanh (8/5): Very good -
- Marc (10/5): perfect - Everythings good nothing
- Marc (10/5): Recommend this! - Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean!
- Ruiqi (2/5): Back again ? no - friendly staff Environmental noise!!
poor lamp!!
Some vistors make conflict with others, and even wake me up at 3am!Horrible!(They shout out in the morning)
Owner/Staff not focus on reliving conflicts!
I was trying to live elsewhere for some days, even I paid full and no refund.
- Alf (2/5): Pig - Bratte trapper, ingen vindu på rommet, vanskelig å komme inn på toalettet. Men ok for å sove en natt.
- Van Allister (10/5): Affordable place in BKk - Place was near the bts and very good for a short stay
- Verified traveler (8/5):
- Verified traveler (8/5): - 3 guests with 1 room ( 1 double bed and 1 single bed ) , close to Pra KhaNong BTS
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The place is very clean. I never thought I would be happy with a shared bathroom, but turns out to be better because we all (4 of us in a group), have something to use whenever we need to - best of all, no waiting 😀. The only problem with this hotel is not having an elevator which is an issue for seniors like us. When booking, make to request for a 2nd floor room. Staff are very friendly 👍👍👍.
- Kane (10/5): - A nice little place to stay in the residential area of Bangkok. It was easy enough for me to find the place on my own. My single room was tiny and clean. People in the hallway were a bit loud sometimes. Everything worked well as should be. My stay was overall pleasing, and I definitely would stay here again if I had things to do nearby.
- Danny (10/5): A good place to stay - Was better than expected and great location.
- Verified traveler (10/5):
- Daphne (10/5): Great experience, Great people, Great hotel - This is my second time back to this hostel. Nothing much can comment. Everything was so perfect!! Definitely will be back again!
- Verified traveler (8/5): -
- Chee (8/5): - Convenient and tidy for short stay
- Sang Yeup (8/5):
