- Alex (2/5): Check other websites, terrible communication - Before booking this hotel, check their reviews on other websites too as there are similar stories to ours. We had the same terrible experience checking into this serviced apartment. On the morning, as we were checking out of another serviced apartment, I called ahead to their contact number and they were able to confirm that I would be able to leave my luggage there ahead of my check in time later that afternoon. With that out of the way, we were planning to enjoy a day in London.
On arrival, we found that actually there is no way to check in your luggage and that we'd need to use a luggage drop. The closest luggage drop was 1 mile away and we were carrying 3 heavy pieces of luggage. If they had informed us that there was no check in at the apartment, we'd have left our luggage at our previous serviced apartment. The lack of communication and care for our situation was absolutely disgraceful.
We called them several times about our situation and requested an early check in. They said in that there was no way to change the check in time of 5pm. They constantly mentioned that things were out of their control and was unable to do anything. In defeat, we spent money on a taxi to a luggage point, paid for that service and went to lunch at 2pm. They called us 5 minutes later and said they could let us check in earlier. The amount of misinformation and terrible communication was so frustrating and unprofessional to work with and I'd avoid this place like the plague.
- Devon (10/5): Luxury Apartment, Perfect Location! - I noticed the comments about the check-in process so I contacted them to set up a time to meet someone to get the keys and it worked out great. I met Mike who was very kind and informative about the apartment and the area. Besides the stains on the bedroom carpet, the place was very clean. It's a luxury apartment with heated floors that I couldn't figure out how to control, so I would recommend asking them how to work that during your stay. I didn't cook while I was there, but the kitchen was great with all the cooking supplies and utensils that I needed had I wanted to. They provided a couple servings of instant coffee and tea which was lovely. The location was PERFECT for everything I wanted to do and see in London. I could walk to basically everything! I would DEFINITELY stay here again! I highly recommend it! :D
- Paul (8/5): Good location & value - The location was excellent in terms of places to eat, access to the Underground and proximity to the building where I was working. The room was nice, but poorly laid out for computer work. There were also not enough outlets to plug in laptops and still work at a table. Took me forever to figure out how to work the stove and oven - had to go to youtube. Need some place to empty trash during week.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The original apartment we booked (Chancery Lane) had to be changed as the previous guests had damaged it, so we were put into Dance Square. The new apartment was fairly new and in good condition, and we liked the area. However, it wasn't fully set up when we checked in - the internet router had to be plugged outside in the hallway (creating a tripping hazard) and we didn't have any bath soap for the shower. Although I called the service company about this, they never came back to address either of these points. Also, the extra bed they provided for our son as the third guest was not comfortable at all - he ended up sleeping on the sofa.
- Sara (10/5): Great Crash Pad - I booked this 1-bedroom flat for a business trip and was very pleased with the property. Great location in Holborn, convenient to two Tube stops and all the business meetings I needed to attend. The flat was clean, sunny, well-equipped, newly renovated, and was even better than the pictures in person. Very private, quiet, and exactly what I was looking. I'll happily stay here again next time I travel to London.
