Highly recommend!

Jami (10/5): Best Hotel Stay Ever - Upon entering the hotel it smelled of freshly popped popcorn which was available to guests along with sodas, the hotel was very clean and beautiful, every staff member I encountered the entire stay was friendly and helpful, I had spoken to the manager casually and she is wonderful. The room was big, beds were comfy, and the bathroom was spotless. I absolutely loved the patio you had a great view of PNC Park and the convention center. I didn't go to the Kickback which is free drinks and snacks to guests from 5:30pm-7pm, but we did enjoy the breakfast buffet which was also free for guests to enjoy, there were a lot of choices and the food and coffee were good. It's also the old Federal reserve and they have turned the old vaults into conference rooms which is pretty neat. It's a great hotel and we will definitely be booking again!! The only thing that was a little disappointing is that the patio closed at 10pm and there were fireworks at PNC Park that started around 10:20, it would have been nice to see them from the patio.

Nanette (10/5): We had a lovely stay, & would enjoy staying here again! - The place is lovely, and the staff is gracious. We were delighted by a complimentary buffet dinner and breakfast, with great variety of foods and plenty of space to enjoy it. We were glad to not have to drive anywhere in the big city, for meals. We used the valet parking & those folks were wonderful too. Thanks! It would have been nice to have a fan to run overnight, to block noises from the hall.

We only stay one night, so were not able to use the other amenities (pool, gym, spa, etc.) I didn't like the $ for the valet parking, but I did some research and it was comparable with other options nearby.

Valet parking leaves much to be desired. - Clean, quick check in, complimentary breakfast, complimentary drinks at the bar, very quiet, comfortable mattresses and pillows Valet parking. Expensive and one particular valet had a nasty attitude. Wasn’t going to let him ruin my experience but I did give it back to him on one occasion. If you don’t like your job, quit.

I2224OKvictoriac (8/5): :) juviniles are bad - The rooms were nice lots of tv options very clean. My problem was the juvenile delinquents at the pool . Teenagers were roughhousing and kept splashing water on young children which made them cry I had enough of just watching so i had to yell at them and they mocked me . The teenage girls were just recording everything and the teen boys walked around the hotel in swimsuits

Tina (10/5): They’ve got great staff! - The staff were outstanding. We were greeted upon arrival by Rita who went out of her way to explain about Kickoff and made sure we had our coupons. That was a great value. The hot breakfast was really good too. Hezekiah was super friendly and helpful when I forgot my glasses upstairs. Brian the valet was friendly and helpful too with tips to us first time visitors to your fair city. You’ve got a great team!

ForestRose9901 (4/5): Many rooms have no natural light and questionable egress in case of emergency - We were in Pittsburgh for the NFL Draft and stayed 4 nights at the Drury. I had booked the room for our stay nearly five months in advance, and paid over $600/night for a non-refundable rate. The overall reviews were great and we were excited to stay in downtown for the Draft. However, I do want to let others know that there in one big negative to be aware of when staying here. The good - very friendly staff and good location for any event in downtown Pittsburgh. However, our room - the “king deluxe with sleeper sofa” - had zero natural light. When we first walked in there were no lights on and it felt like we were walking into a dungeon. The one “window” opened to an interior space. To be honest I started panicking that if there was a fire we would be trapped because I could not see how we could be rescued without an exterior window. I asked the front desk about the lack of light and egress and they said because it is a historic building they only had so much to work with, and that they couldn’t move us because of the type of room we had booked (non refundable king deluxe). I asked the front desk to consider putting this information in their description of the rooms so future guests would know before they booked, and they said that because these rooms are cheaper (?) that they felt like people would know that there was something wrong with them. I would not call over $600/night cheaper, but this was the first NFL Draft we had attended so I was not aware of the typical costs. I’m a Drury Rewards member so this wasn’t my first stay at a Drury, but I would not stay at this particular one again unless I was certain I wouldn’t be placed in a room without a window. Another minor issue - no smart TVs so no streaming or casting.
BSuch1225 (10/5): I vote: Friendliest staff - The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly. The food was good. The drinks in the evening were perfect to end our long day! The location was perfect for us going into the NFL draft. The valet was quick to get my car. The rooms were big enough for three adults to be comfortable.

globalmozy (10/5): Great Stay with superb service - What an amazing hotel! I don’t think I’ve ever had a I more pleasant stay, and we travel a lot. Nick at the front desk was a real star. That said every employee we encountered at the hotel was extremely helpful and pleasant. The rooms were the perfect size. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent. The added value of the breakfast and the evening "kick-Back" were incredible. The location is perfect. We walked to the Pirates game and took the bus to the strip and the incline. The bus is seriously easy and provided affordable transport around town and to the airport. We did not take one rideshare in the city. If you are looking for a relaxing stay with comfort and unparalleled service ... The Drury Plaza Downtown Pittsburgh is the correct choice. We loved it.

Thomas (9/5): Almost perfect!!! - Everything was amazing. The staff was great. Location was perfect. Breakfast and dinner was included and was awesome. Some many choices. You could almost have a different dinner each night for a weekend with all the choices. Rooms were clean. Gym and pool were perfect. The balcony was perfect for the free cup of coffee. Enjoyed a pretty amazing view of downtown. The added history of the hotel was neat. Trying to eat at the restaurant / bar was difficult. The first night we went to get food they gently pushed us away saying it would take a minimum of 1 and a half hours before we even put in an order. Then they said they couldnt even promise that. The tables were empty but maybe they were room orders. So we left. The second night was still a challenge. We ordered food at the same time as the previous night but this time they gave us the wrong food. I started to walk away with the food and noticed we were missing one dish. Then when we opened the trays, they were all wrong. I went back and they apologized. Two nights in a row we had trouble. So the third night we went out for fast food.

Hope (6/5): Fine for a place to lay your head, but that’s about it - Location was pretty good - close to Penn Ave bars and restaurant The rooms were SO dark. It did have a window… to a wall 2 feet away. The room was void of light and not enough lamps/lights in room to compensate. Impossible to see anything in closet unless bathroom lights on and door is open. Rug/decor in need of a refresh.

I want to give a special shoutout to the wonderful lady with the red hair who handled our check-in around 2:45 pm. I didn’t catch her name, but she was incredibly welcoming and did a fantastic job informing us about the hotel amenities and where everything was located. Our room was spacious and spotless—plus, the water pressure in the shower was top-notch. The rooftop patio offered stunning city views, and both the pool area and patio were well-maintained. We were also impressed by the staff during breakfast and the 5:30 Kickback; they did a great job keeping the food stocked and the area clean. To top it off, the valet team was moving fast and efficient during checkout, making sure everyone was acknowledged and reassured that their car was on the way.

Our room was a great size for our family of 5 (3 kids ranging from 8-16) and the beds were very comfortable. The pool area was clean and well maintained and we loved having music in that area as well! This was THE best hotel experience we’ve ever had and look forward to staying here again next time we’re in downtown Pittsburgh and will look for a Drury hotel wherever we go!

The staff in the breakfast room were on the spot about refilling needs. They were so friendly. I like how the breakfast was set up. Love the fact they kept the architecture from Federal Building.
Brandon (10/5): A great stay in the heart of the city - Antares at the front desk and Heather at the breakfast bar were particularly helpful! The room was clean and comfortable and all the normal perks were at or above expectations. $40 valet requirement for on-site parking was a bit much. Parked our second car a block away at the Greyhound garage for $12. The valet was friendly and responsive though!
