• Conner (8/5): Title? For a review? This ain't no book. - Breakfast was phenomenal. Included indoor pool and gym were great. All items that should be frequently cleaned just had a whiteish residue (all around the pool, brita water dispenser drain, shower head, etc) that looked as though it was just subject to harsh chemicals and called it a day. Pool could use some polishing as I felt a little uneasy going into it do to spotty looks. We had a pull out bed as well but no sheets or pillowcase for it.
• O4215QGangieb (10/5): Anniversary memories! - I was celebrating my anniversary with my husband and checked with the front desk earlier to ask if there was a way to get a balloon in my room for my husband. FAITH at the desk made it happen! She even got 3 balloons, chocolates and they even got us a $25 gift card! I cried! That was the most thoughtful thing that has ever happened for us. I can’t thank you all enough for your generosity and making my anniversary so special!

We like the hotel! - Obviously the price was great….the convenience of the location to the shops and theaters…breakfast was good…Jaden and Roberta were outstanding…. First level was great for us as we are older…. Sofa needs a little tlc, and the lack of nite tables on open sides of the bed were inconvenient having to put items on the floor…glasses, water etc. being on the first level, the truck traffic was LOUD on the street side of the building…definitely would request the deeper side of the building next time.

• 281russw (6/5): Not what we paid for - The location is excellent. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good. Indoor pool nice and comfortable. Our issue is that we thought we booked a suite, which to us means separate bedroom and living area. But the room was just one large area, no separate bedroom, no door to close. The hotel is called inn and suites, but that was misleading. Next time we travel, we will confirm that a suite is a suite.

We have decided that the top floor is best for us from now on.We heard children running above us in their room. Adults stomped as they walked back and forth before the sun came up. We had no daily plans but awakened by noise. Otherwise a good stay.

The bed was very comfortable, the room is very spacious My one and only issue is that i tried to pay cash at the front desk but was told booking.com had already charged my card when it specifically stated i could pay once i got here
• Robert (5/5): Ok - Cleanliness The facility hosted a girls volleyball tournament in town the starting time each day was 7:30 and it was a 30 minute drive! Your breakfast didn’t start till 7:00 so we missed breakfast both days!
• BeckyL220 (2/5): Do Not Stay - Do not stay here. As others have said, this hotel is not Marriott standards. The hallway and room wallpaper is pealing, the carpets are stained, there were balls of hair on the bathroom floor on arrival, the air conditioner is a wall unit that is loud, the tub drain was clogged, furniture is stained. If you needed more reasons, I was stuck in the elevator for 45 minutes and had to be rescued by the fire department and climb a ladder to get out. Good thing I am in good shape. They told me this happened before and the elevator was replaced. I see reviews from a few months ago where other guests noted a broken elevator so it’s a thing apparently. Management did refund a night of my three nights stay but I had ask for the other nights to be refund after all that. It seems like this hotel is about to go under.

The AC is old and noisy, bathroom had some cracked tiles. Only one elevator was working and the pool was closed, I assume for repair. They had large portable air units in the eating area. I felt sorry for the clerk that was alone for two days. She was very helpful despite being pulled in different directions.

The shower was discussing and the bathroom smelt like sewer, it was bad!!!; Neither my husband nor I would take a shower. Our rooms keys wouldn't work. They tried others they didn't work so they gave us a master key. When we were leaving the next morning we opened the door to leave and something fell off the outside of the door lock. We left it on the floor by the door and told them at the front desk. We have stayed at many Fairfield Inns and have never had a problem. Hope something is done about room 216 before any other guess goes into it!!!! Bad experience.

• elizabethandryan (2/5): Nasty Hotel - We travel a lot for youth sports and have relatively low expectations for a Fairfield Inn. But this was one of the worst. The hotel was generally tired. All the furniture very worn, peeling. Elevators not working. Staff speaking and forcing their religion on you at the front desk. But our biggest problem was the drain in our shower. We were placed in a handicapped room with a shower open to the floor. The drain was completely blocked therefore all the water would flood the bathroom. Luckily there was a secondary drain in the middle of bathroom that drained (but very slowly) but the entire bathroom would fill up with 1 inch of water. You couldn’t use the bathroom due to the abundance of water on the floor. Thank goodness there was not a handicap person needing to use the facilities as there is no way with that amount of water a wheelchair could navigate the restroom. There was no effort for staff to fix the problem. In fact, they just preached the importance of their god. Very odd.
• zukhrafs (4/5): Dirty rooms , Limited breakfast choices - Review for Fairfield Inn Lancaster East Near Outlets We booked this hotel for a quick family trip, excited to enjoy a couple of days off with our kids. Unfortunately, our experience was so disappointing that I feel compelled to share it in detail, hoping Marriott corporate will take this seriously. Room Condition (Unacceptable): From the moment we walked in, the room was clearly not up to Marriott standards. • Stains on the couch and a large stain on the curtain were the first things we noticed. • A fitted sheet was lying on the floor — apparently left behind from a prior guest. • When we requested housekeeping, we returned hours later to find the room still a disaster: the sofa bed left open with a blanket tossed on it, a pillow placed in the window sill, no vacuuming, no soap replenished, and footprints still visible on the bathroom floor. • Worst of all, the same sheet that had been on the floor was now placed on the table. With young children, this was not just sloppy — it was unsanitary and disturbing. We notified the manager, who was polite and apologetic, but it was clear he was not the one responsible for cleaning. He even offered to clean it himself, which we declined because it’s not his job. I ended up cleaning the room myself, which is not what anyone expects when paying for a Marriott property. Breakfast Experience (Deeply Disappointing): Breakfast was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel, but it turned out to be the biggest letdown. • We were told waffles are only served on weekends. This makes no sense when families book weekday stays specifically for breakfast included. • On top of that, nearly everything was out on the second day: plain bagels , muffins, cream cheese, yogurt, English muffins, and even bananas (one of the few things my toddler eats). • The only options left were scrambled eggs and blueberry bagels. My older daughter doesn’t eat blueberry bagels and was upset having only scrambled eggs. My toddler had almost nothing to eat without bananas or yogurt available. • Every time we asked staff about missing items, we were met with a laugh and “sorry, we’re out.” I even spoke directly to the person in charge, suggesting that if so many items were unavailable, they could at least open the waffle station to make kids happy. She responding stating That’s not the policy. That summed up the lack of flexibility and care we experienced — policy over people, even when children were left hungry. My kids favorite part about staying at a hotel is the breakfast and they were so disappointed that we got them food after leaving the hotel. Comparison to Other Hotels: We’ve stayed at Hilton Garden Inn in Lancaster, where breakfast options are plentiful (including vegetarian-friendly items like potatoes, cheese omelets, waffles/pancakes on weekdays, toast) and rooms are spotless. Even Hawthorne Suites by Wyndham, booked last-minute, offered far better breakfast variety. Marriott is usually our preferred brand, but this property fell far below expectations. Management Response: The manager apologized and offered points as compensation. While appreciated, points don’t fix dirty rooms, sheets on the floor, or children left without breakfast. We paid for a stay that was supposed to be clean and include breakfast — neither of those basic expectations were met. --- Final Thoughts We chose this hotel because of its location and the promise of breakfast included, but the lack of cleanliness and poor food options made our stay stressful instead of enjoyable. With kids, cleanliness and reliable meals are non-negotiable. I sincerely hope Marriott corporate reviews this property’s standards, because our experience was unacceptable and far below what we expect from the Marriott name.

• Ben (7/5): Ho-hum. - Breakfast was skimpy at approx. 8:30am. Several things were out and not replaced. I had eggs only as I don't use pork. Things should be labelled. Also had the last smushed muffin. Overall, unimpressed. Two elevators, only one worked, and I was on third floor.

• Orange355 (6/5): Solid choice for the area. - I've stayed at this location multiple times over the last few years. Overall, this is a good choice in the area. The common areas are clean and look nice. Rooms are large and quiet and have everything you need. Beds are comfortable. While the rooms are clean overall, other than an extremely dusty vent by the door, they are probably in need of a refresh. Minor things really, like the caulking in the shower/tub needs replacement, ac unit had a broken door, some wear and tear on furniture, curtains have seen better days. From what I understand, this location was built 8 or 9 years ago, so a scheduled refresh may be on the books or possibly started already. Breakfast was solid for what it is.

• mdr131 (10/5): Clean room, friendly staff, convenient location - Stayed here one night and used Marriott points so the room was free. This hotel is very conveniently located--I was at a show at the American Music Theater and it's about a three minute drive away. The room was clean and comfortable. Wifi wasn't the best, so I just used my phone as a hotspot. The breakfast was very simple--no waffles or pancakes--but everything was fresh and hot. All staff that I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Would book again without hesitation.

Our room was so spacious with 2 queen beds and a seating area with a sofa bed. The bathroom was clean and water pressure amazing. They had a free breakfast available. Staff were awesome. The hotel was very convenient to attractions in the area. Last thing they have toiletries in shower area. Great idea. Definitely worth it

Eggs were delicious. Room was clean , comfortable bed but sheets were a bit scratchy. The shower had some mildew stain in the grout and the base of the shower looked like it needed a good scrubbing. Overall a decent stay but a bit pricey at over $200 a night.

• rodriguez (9/5): Stay was peaceful and comfortable. - The room was clean and very comfortable. The detail of adding the guest's name on the TV home page is a nice touch. There was a little stain on the bed sheets that look like blood or chocolate milk, im not sure. I did not see it until the next morning because it was under the covers.
• mwashington2015 (10/5): Staff Members Made Us Feel At Home - If you are looking for a hotel with excellent customer service, you will definitely enjoy Fairfield Inn & Suites Lancaster East at the Outlets? When we checked in at this hotel, Lori, the front desk associate, set the atmosphere for the start of our stay. She was so pleasant and made us feel welcomed. The entire stay she was most helpful with anything we need even directions to local attractions. Maggie, one of the room attendants, helped us when had a minor issue in the room. It was not even her section to handle but she went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Latonya the general manager was very visible and on top of things during our stay. It is not often you get to see the GM unless you want to complain. She was there every morning greeting us and asking was everything ok. Even the dining staff was very attentive to our needs. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it.
• marygC2624QX (2/5): Black mold!! - If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would! It was disgusting!!! There was BLACK MOLD in the shower, RUST in the shower, including asharp metal sticking out from the handheld water hose. Absolutely awful! To make matters worse, it was 10:30pm, so we went to the front desk and showed the pictures and they were NOT accommodating! They offered us a room with 1 king bed and a pull out sofa, which sleeps 3 people.... we are a family of 6 with 4 kids! We asked to maybe split the family into 2 rooms, but he told us he doesn't have the authority to give us 2 rooms. IS HE SERIOUS!!??!!! So, instead, he left us to sleep in a room with black mold or to check out with nowhere else to go. Well done, Marriot. Very frustrated, upset, and angry... as we are calling other hotels to find somewhere to stay that can accommodate us. Truly an awful experience and I'm warning you to NEVER STAY HERE!

• cliff (6/5): - Made reservations for a hotel that had a pool, when we arrived the pool was closed for scheduled maintenance for two days we were there. We weren't told this when we made the reservations. No air conditioning in the hallways, elevator and breakfast area. These conditions during summer time were intolerable and it definitely wasn't worth the money that we spent.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Good and bad - Staff were accommodating when room didn’t have two televisions that were supposed to be in the room. Got us another room that did. Central air not working in lobby. Had portable AC units to help keep cool. Vent didn’t work in bathroom. Breakfast area and seating was crowded and some food choices were not available.
• diana (10/5): - The staff was amazing. I asked for two extra blankets and they sent it right away no questions asked. The whole place was clean and well taking care off. The hallways look clean and smelled clean. I highly recommended it.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Skip this property - This hotel was so chaotic and poorly managed that I may never stay in another Marriott property again. Was quizzed about my religion during check in, did not receive vital info about housekeeping, room wasn’t very clean, and breakfast was terrible—apparently they don’t order enough food when they’re full booked and the area was filthy. I’ve stayed in no name roadside motels that were better. The overnight desk clerk was professional and clearly doing her job. The rest? Well, some massive training is in order.

• 97bonniep (4/5): - The staff were very nice but the hotel is in very poor condition. The day we stayed the air- conditioning was not working in any of the common areas. The pool was not working as well. We stayed in a room with a roll in shower. The shower caulk looked moldy and the handrails were rusty looking. The ice machine was removed on the 3rd floor and the wallpaper was falling down where it had been removed. The wall was completely black and moldy looking. Additionally the chairs and seating in the dining area have their coverings cracked and peeling off. The location is great but the building needs a lot of work.

• Sheree (6/5): Overall a disappointing stay! - Overall the hotel needs to be refurbished. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. The individual cartons of milk were clotted even though they were not out of date and the waffle irons were not turned on because the batter dispenser appeared to be not working. The tub was slow draining while trying to take a shower.
• Erethel (2/5): Pick ANY other hotel if you value your experience and your money - Absolutely terrible overnight stay. Air conditioning is out in all of the common areas (in July) Pool is out of service (in July) Bathroom grout is black from mold and lack of cleaning Paid for accessible shower and grab bars were rusty and not clean. Floor tile outside the shower was very slippery Ice machine alcove had peeling wallpaper and the back of the wall paper was full of mold Yes, they have a “free” breakfast but even that was served late When we asked for a discount due to all of the problems the woman at the desk laughed at us
• Mohammad (10/5): Great time - It was an amazing experience and my kids loved this hotel. Clean, friendly, good breakfast and the staff were very kind.

• Paula (10/5): Wrestling Tournament stay - Great place with modern amenities in the middle of nowhere. Definitely will stay again if in the area.
• John (6/5): - The staff was great and very helpful. The room was what we needed. My concern would be with the bathroom. There was no vent fan in the bathroom and usually there are several hooks to leave towels which they had a hairdryer on one of of the two. The hotel itself had a problem with its AC which wasn't working, and their snacks and drinks area was depleted and never filled.
