- Berta (10/5): - The staff at the inn were incredibly helpful and, friendly . The breakfast was amazing both mornings we were there. It’s an old house from 1890’s converted into the bed and breakfast so the rooms were interesting. Could have used more storage, but I presume most people live out of their suitcases the few days they stay there. Lovely house. Walking distance to all the wonderful restaurants and shops in the downtown area. Excellent location. Would definitely stay there again, particularly if the cook and staff were there.

The inn is a beautiful victorian home that is well kept and very clean. There is only one drawback and that being very limited parking but other then that...it was an incredible venue.

We skipped lunch both days because we were still full. such a great location downtown so you can walk everywhere.

Although we watch very little tv while away, we like to watch the news in the morning and evening. When you pay $200+ for a room, you expect the tv to work.

The room next to ours tried the door knob that lead to our room and was persistent to try and open it. They did know it was an a joining room to ours and was locked on our side. No contact by owners - business seems to be an afterthought. We had the “Grand Room” and our view was the alley and the back of a restaurant. It was in walking distance to downtown and shops. - Verified traveler (10/5): Something old, new, borrowed & downtown Blue - Bed and breakfast in Blue Ridge is the best way to enjoy downtown. Downtown shopping, drinking and dining are so easy to enjoy from this location. The hosts and hostesses of the Inn are hospitable and most accommodating. We were returning lodgers who have always enjoyed breakfast at the Inn but loved the downtown transportation option from the Inn.

You have to be prepared that this is an old historic house with all its flaws and character, which we expected. Our room was large and relaxing, breakfast was great, and the location was excellent - withing walking distance to the best restaurants and shops in Blue Ridge.

The owners are fun to talk to and know a lot about the home's history and local eateries. Blue Ridge town is right across the old railroad tracks and very quaint with fun shops and good restaurants. We especially enjoyed spending some quiet time in the library on the second floor. Breakfast was very filling and the location is ideal for exploring downtown.

- Carolyn (10/5): Surprise, surprise! (a 70th birthday surprise!) - The B&B was absolutely charming! An old Victorian-style home; very neat and very clean. The owner and his staff made us feel very much at home. They were all so friendly, gracious and helpful. Our room (Lighthouse room), was comfortable and clean. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable. The morning breakfast was wonderful; a variety of food and plenty to eat. The table setting was so eye-pleasing and inviting. We would definitely stay there again.
