Guest Reviews
- Dina (2/5): - The room stunk of cigarette smoke. We requested a non smoking- we were told it was a non-smoking room. The staff was horrible, the front counter person couldn’t find the reservation, he kept yelling in a foreign language, kept pacing to the back of the office then returned to say he couldn’t look further in their system to find the reservation. Overall- terrible.
- Randolph (6/5): Vacation time - It was too noisy from the freeway outside. I couldn't sleep.
- Dillon (10/5): - Staff is always on top of keeping rooms clean very nice and quiet
- Dillon (10/5): - Amazing service and amazing people in a very quiet area and close to Walmart and other stores
- Sandra (2/5): - The Clerk could not check me in because the email was sent to the manager and he was not answering his phone so I finally showed her my receipt and she checked me in.
Room was clean smoke detector kept going off so she changed me to another room. No hot water. Bed was hard as bricks room noise was terrible. No Wi-Fi no customer service whatsoever would never recommend this. Expedia should remove them.
- Scherry (2/5): horrible motel - This is a roach motel beds are as hard as a rock, somebody was out front trying to check in a couple hours after me and nobody ever showed up. bugs in bathroom and on floor. dont stay here
- Antionette (8/5): - The room had a stuffy , mildewy odor.
- Lillie (10/5): - Noce but hard bed
- Christie (10/5): - Great place! Real clean!
- Verified traveler (6/5): Not the worst place I have stayed - One night stay. It was obvious that the room had been recently renovated. That was nice. Paint and items were new. Unit worked well. Water in the shower didn’t really get hot enough if you. Noise from the nearby thruway was constant. The worst thing was the mattress. That was absolutely the hardest mattress I have ever slept on. Kept having to turn over from body parts hurting. Overall, I don’t think I would be willing to sleep on that mattress again. Other than that, I would stay there again.
- Mayola (10/5): - It wonderful and beautiful and nice and clean but they can put trash can outside each corner of the build that all missing
- Olivia (10/5): - Room clean, easy check in and quite
- Duke (2/5): - They have the air conditioners off in every room when I got here it was 85°. It is 1:12 in the morning the air has been on for 5 hours the temperature in the room is 75°is unsleepable and wrong. I will not stay at this location again they are cheap cheap the hot water does not even register as a lukewarm which is fine considering how there's no AC. You would need to rent this room in advance travel here in advance and turn the air on a day in advance to be able to stay in the room comfortably do not stay at this hotel on the summer time starting now May 16th until maybe December don't do it if your family's already fighting the heat in this place will make y'all kill each other.
- Michael (8/5): You Get What You Pay For II - Nothing spectacular, but for the price this was a great value for a one-night stay. It had everything we need and was generally clean, except for the refrigerator. I would stay here again.
- Elliot (10/5): - The noise from the highway it's horrible
- Anthony (8/5): One night - Quiet and remote.... Inside was a bit outdated
- Migel (2/5): - Dirty, disgusting, long hairs everywhere in your room.
- Brandy (10/5): - We enjoyed our stay but could of used more than one packet of cream for coffee
- Christopher (6/5): Let me run this bayou - We were traveling from NM to FL and stopped overnight to sleep. The hotel did what it needed to for the cheap price that I paid. We had beds, cold AC, and hot water. Checkin was okay. I had to ring a bell for a friendly person to show up. The nonsmoking room smelled real bad of disinfectant and smoke. The bathroom door stuck in the frame, so it was super loud. The bed wasn’t too comfortable. There was a dead roach behind one bed. 2 small towels for 4 family members. The internet was quick. No ice in the ice machine. Being so cheap, it’s pretty much what we paid for. We got in late, slept, and left early.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - Beds were small had to fix the toilet so it would flush
- David (10/5): This should be a 3 star rating - I’ve been too many hotels in my life. And this hotel is by far one of the best places, that I have ever stayed at! And for the price it’s unequivocally outstanding! Mike the manager is extremely friendly and professional. I don’t write reviews but I had to let other people know about how awesome this place is!
- T (8/5): - I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room next to me was a little noisy but not unbearable.
- Melody (10/5): Just fine. - Everything good.
- Margaret (4/5): Dirty room, no WiFi, no hot water - Dirty room, no WiFi, no hot water
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Everything was fine nice and quiet just what i needed
- Verified traveler (8/5): - The place could definitely use some updates and maintenance work done. However, it was clean, the shower had excellent water pressure, and we felt safe. All in all we were pleased.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Did not like use of actual key and there wasna hole in blanket.
- Ken (6/5): - Friendly staff, clean bathrooms. The problem is that the hotel has not been updated in decades. There is still carpet on the floor which is no longer standard in places like Motel 6. I saw 2 little bugs crawling underneath the carpet and am assuming that this is why most hotels have moved away from carpet. This is especially an issue in a climate like Louisiana.
- GLENDA (10/5): Happy 😊 camper - Everything i loved about it customer service
The maid was wonderful
Thank you Julie
- Melissa (6/5): Not the greatest... - Definitely not the cleanest hotel I’ve been to but, it served its purpose as an overnight stop. Probably 2 stars at best. The A/C worked quickly after we turned it on. There was a lot of highway noise. The bed was quite squeaky with a thin mattress. Overall felt secure.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - I was pleased with this place. The price was right, and the room was clean. The owners were very nice people.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - The front desk people were very accommodating. Housekeeper went above and beyond to make my stay there very pleasant.
- Brandon (10/5): Great Stay - We wanted to take a spur of the moment trip and go some place neither of us have been too. Shreveport was a cool city. Lots of casinos n we ended up going to some nearby ziplines. We stayed at the motel on our way. Room was clean and we felt safe. The only thing you will hear is alot of traffic n trucks over night. Which was peaceful to us.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - I liked that it was easy to get to. They were nice enough they just needed more towels
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Nothing at all extremely bad business please go elsewhere
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Its was better than expected. The only thing I didn't like was the soap. It was more like a plastic bar instead of soap.
- Verified traveler (6/5): - Was cleaner than expected but the property itself is out of date
- Boudreaux Cajun (8/5): No Frills - No Frills. Cheap clean room. Comfortable bed. Not a 5 star hotel but worth the price.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I didn’t stay and they charged my card it was shady
- Taaka (10/5): - Good for the price
- Norma (6/5): - For the price of $47 with tax for a quick stay and late night arrival, it was clean and the A/C was cold. The water got hot and the cable and wifi worked well. It was quiet. However, there is no bed like home. It worked out great. Thanks
- Verified traveler (2/5): Disgusted - It was dirty and nasty.
- alberta (4/5): - Hotel staff was not available le upon arrival. The hotel should not be recommend. It is set up like a boarding house. A woman alone should not be given this location. This location is what you see is what you get. Once you see the outside of the hotel you won’t stay. We found another hotel. You should be embarrassed to have this hotel on your site
- Julie (4/5): Highly over rated! - Location was great. Desk person was nice & tried to be accommodating. Decor, furniture and carpeting were old & in need of replacing. Room had musty smell, dirt behind doors like they weren’t ever moved when cleaning. Mattresses outdated. The bullet proof drive up window & window separating clerk from guest when signing in was creepy & made one feel the location was not safe. I feel the ratings on your site were false & somehow manipulated. I can’t imagine anyone rating it 8 out of 10.
- Judy (6/5): Basic - Plain Jane. Just the basics but all we did was sleep there.
- Alisha (8/5): - The air conditioner did not work very well. There was not much else to complain.
- Todd (6/5): - It was ok for the price.but would not stay there again
- Charles (6/5): Cheap! - It was cheap and thats the good part. From soap that felt more like wax to toilet that was jammed up against the wall. I stayed here two years ago and it has gone down hill. I wouldnt bring my wife here. The bathroom was the biggest issue. It looked not so clean but I think it was just old more than dirty. Bed was fine and overall cleanliness was ok. Just a place to sleep the night. No issues with safery or rowdy guest. Doubtful that ill return next trip.
- Tim (8/5): Good value - Older motel but well kept and clean. Restaurants nearby.
- Nina (6/5): You get what you paid for! - When we first arrived we were greeted by a child who yelled the whole time we were checking in. The mother or who ever she was did not stop the child. This kid drew all over the glass and counter as we stood there. The person checking us in took forever. As I said before the kid yelled the whole time and I could not hear what the lady was saying. Once we arrived to our room is smelled so bad with cigarette smoke. Yes the room was clean but it smelled so bad and had burnt holes in the covers and sheets. Even with the door opened and air fresher the smell never went away. At the end of our stay we tried turning in the key but no one answered our phone calls or the door bell we ring for 10 mins. The front door was locked so we left the key in the room. We had a horrible experience and will not be staying here again.
- Stacey (10/5): Cool spot - Friendly nice welcoming cleaning fast checking fast check out easy going staff
- Darren (8/5): - The room
- Tim (8/5): Nice Hotel - Everything about my stay was good I can't really say anything negative about it great hotel room for the price
- Verified traveler (10/5): Wonderful and cozy!! - Only issue was water in shower took a little while to get hot but overall super satisfied!!
