I was truly impressed by the mission-style furniture and all the bird pictures, books, and stuffed animals. Great fireplace in the dining room and a well-appointed game room too. Highly recommended and I am sure we will be back.

- Brad (10/5): Nature Inn is fantastic - The staff and facilities at the Nature Inn were fantastic. Very clean and comfortable stay. They had several areas to hang out and play games with our family. We left Sunday morning for a basketball game and the staff remember remembered and even asked my daughter how she did when we returned. Great experience!

The food is very good, the employees are friendly, and it feels like you have the entire state park to your self.

- Christine (10/5): - Every aspect of The Nature Inn @ Bald Eagle was exceptional; very helpful staff, large & very clean rooms with balcony overlooking the lake, onsite breakfast was up to "pre-pandemic" standards which is almost never the case elsewhere. Part of the appeal is the remote location, actually inside aPA State Park, but we had an extremely delicious dinner at The Hublersburg Inn just about 20 minutes away. We would definitely recommend for a relaxing getaway - bring your favorite book & enjoy the fireplace or numerous other common areas.

But when we got there and we stayed there for the first hour it was just amazing to See the natural coverage, the water, the hills, the trees, the birds. The hotel itself is very nice and very clean, very minimalist and super modern. It has a really nice touch off the fire place. I just became a fan right away

The room was clean, breakfast was great, and the staff friendly. The furniture was very solid and looked nice but walking around the beds was a bit tricky. I left with a few bruises. The furniture and toilet are high for short people like me but it was fine. The couch was not comfortable but we were not there to lounge on the couch. My husband has a bad back so the bed was too hard for him but it was fine for me. We saw wild animals and enjoyed the peaceful views. I would recommend this place. Thanks for the great stay.

Other than that, I’d give it the highest rating).

They could remedy this by swapping out the old pull out couches (the kind with springs) for the newer ones that are more modular and/or foam based. We would come back!

Awakened to a rowing team from the local college and clear cold mountain air--sound really traveled, We could hear the rowing commands. Then it started to SNOW and the view was incredible. Clean, comfortable, great staff. Felt like I was in Europe in a lot of ways and the hot breakfast was wonderful. REAL eggs, REAL pancakes, steel cut oats and local sausage. Can't ask for more. We will go again.

I loved that they provide binoculars and a birding guide in every room to encourage guests to get out and enjoy the trails. Also very impressed with the quality and variety of the breakfast offerings. The property is lovely and immaculate, with so many spots to take in the gorgeous landscape (a fire pit and gas grills available for guests on the patio overlooking the lake) -- really enjoyed my stay and wished i could have extended but they were already fully booked (i can understand why -- loved this place!)

Breakfast was among the best that I have had at any facility where breakfast is included in the room rate. There are hiking trails which start and end at the Inn. We enjoyed the fire pit and had a lovely weekend with friends. Plan to take advantage of the grills on our next visit.

It's beautiful inside and out, they've thought of everything right down to the pair of binoculars and birding/wildlife/tree reference materials in your luxurious room to seek out and find all that's beautiful in Bald Eagle State Park, and it's ALL beautiful. There are numerous trails to hike, a firepit to sit by and relax and even BBQ grills to grill your own food, right there on the beautiful patio of the hotel, The staff feel like long time friends........I can't say enough good things about the Nature Inn....we can't wait to go back!

A box lunch was available. Views from the hotel were remarkable, particularly in the fall I suspect. Environmentalists would enjoy the many exploring the many factors utilized
- Kay (10/5): Brilliant hotel - We chose this hotel for its lake location and the views were indeed lovely. There are numerous hiking trails all around. Even better is the fact that this very comfortable, beautiful hotel is "green": a model for any hotel Anywhere, but especially in our parks. Rainwater is collected from roof in 2800 gallon cistern for laundry and toilets; solar panels augment electrical needs, and I did not see any plastic. Silverware is stainless, shampoos and shower gel in attractive dispensers. An inspiration for how to live well while protecting the beautiful environment at Bald Eagle.
