Fechter (1/5): I believe the hotel staff management had a scheme to charge everybody’s smoking fees in their room - Nothing at all. Average Hampton with the worst front office staff especially the front desk manager Martin.

One even had a blood stain. Bad smell in the room & hallways certain times of day. It was like sewer smell. Bedding didn't smell fresh at all Breakfast was decent nothing special

Wayne (8/5): Overall, this hotel satisfied my needs for a hotel. - I thought the breakfast was very good. I noticed that the hostess was on top of everything and was very friendly. I noticed that when someone left, she immediately wiped the table off. She did a great job. Also, I liked the availability of plugs in my room. The bed was ok but not as comfortable as some hotels I have been in. The pillows on the bed were also not as comfortable as some hotels I have stayed at.

Check out time was noon which is really nice for those not wanting to wake up early on vacation. Rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Parking is easy and all of it close. I just thouroughly enjoyed staying here with my son

The bed was thin & on wheels that could skid across the laminate floor Only 3 of the 4 wheels of the bed touched the floor like a restaurant table that you put coasters under to keep from wobbling There was an ice bucket, but no cups in the room The ice machine on our floor was broken The room was very small, approx 14 x17. For $300 per night, I expected more as I’ve stayed in many nice Hampton Inn’s over the last 20+ years. We stayed 2 nights & our room was not cleaned. We received no fresh towels the second day until I asked for them at the front desk because we apparently had to request towels and a cleaning the night before. When I asked why my room wasn’t cleaned and why I didn’t have fresh towels, the front desk pointed me to a sign located off to the side that said: ATTENTION HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE NEEDS TO BE REQUESTED THE NIGHT PRIOR I told the front desk that when I checked in, it would’ve been nice to tell me that instead of hiding the sign off to the side & that I expected more for $300/night. The buffet was OK except that at 8 AM each morning, the coffee was no better than lukewarm, as were the eggs and sausage the first day. The second day, the eggs and biscuits & gravy were warm, but the coffee still was not hot. I’ll be calling their corporate office & registering a complaint I will NEVER stay at this Hampton again.

Shannon (8/5): - Check-in was slow, he said the system was down. Only one elevator was working. The water was off for part of the evening, but came back on. Then no hot water in the morning. The reasons why I didn't review our stay lower overall was because the property is well kept considering it's a college town and those are hard to come by. Price is competitive, location is good to OSU campus, the rooms, bedding and bathroom were all clean - the breakfast offers sufficient selections. We've stayed here before, so we are hoping the water mishap was just a rare situation.

I arrived after an 8 hr drive to discover that I had not been given a first floor room after I called the previous day and confirmed one was available and I could have it. I had my dog, who hates elevators, and that was lots of fun dragging him up and down from the second floor. I liked that they had a doggy station but it was out of bags and when I asked the front desk to replenish them, they said they would, but then didn't. I had to go back and ask again. The room was huge but the layout was terrible. The bed was on one end of the room and the couch on the other. In the middle was a big desk that had a TV with a stand. Each time I wanted to watch the TV on the bed or on the couch, I had to turn the heavy TV around to face the other direction. It wasn't the worst place I ever stayed, but I highly doubt I'll stay there again.
Michael S (2/5): - Was not offered anything for being a Hilton member, was not allowed to check in 25 minutes before 3, had a certain kind of black ‘hair’ in the shower before we took a shower, we had no shampoo in the ‘bottle attached to the wall’, check in person was a little rude, when we did get checked in and got to our room, we had absolutely no view! It was of the ‘awning’ of the drive up by the door. I have a pic. And an internet wall outlet plate did not cover the bigger hole! And the rug inside the front door says ‘Making You Makes Us Happy. We were not happy!! Will find a different place to stay next time.

Quick drive to campus. Staff was nice. I forgot my clothes when I left. They didn’t call because since I booked through a 3rd party site they supposedly “didn’t have my personal info.” So, they put my clothes in the lost and found and are holding them for me to pick up (easier than mailing though they offered). Good stay but nothing super cool or exciting - but if you checked out the pics or reviews, you probably expect as much.

No real effort going into this hotel. Breakfast all from cheap products. If you're not going to do things well, shut the doors. Neighboring hotel was cheaper and remodeled.
Cindy (4/5): I’ve stayed at this facility numerous times in the lady 5 years. The cleanliness seems lacking recen - Location, breakfast, staff My first room was 218. The spreads were dirty. I turned them back and there was hair all over. I was moved to 220. When I turned back the spread, there was old blood on it. Very disappointing. Sinks and tubs had hair in them.

I was not allowed to make changes after the FIRST night! that is a load of CRAP! My wife broke a tooth and had to stay for the dentist and my daughter had a last minute issue at work and had to stay...GOOD BYE AND PLEASE GO BROKE!

The beds were extremely uncomfortable and the walls were paper thin. I could hear my neighbors sneeze. The shower head didn’t turn for different settings although it was listed as an option. Breakfast didn’t offer any gluten free items which was slightly disappointing.

94deshannaw (2/5): Horrible customer service - We just stayed the weekend here for parents weekend at OK State. My husband left a pair of jeans, 2 shirts, a pair of shorts, socks and boxers in the closet of the room. We were a little disoriented packing up due to the fire alarm going off at 6:15 in the morning and having to evacuate. I called the hotel and spoke with the assistant manager William and he stated that the man who cleaned our room only found the shorts. Obviously that is a lie and the man who cleaned our room stole the other items.

We are not happy at all and don’t appreciate her covering the peep hole.
