Very close to the beach and two supermarkets. The Wi-Fi in one of the rooms was not working and panels of an electrical board was missing. The furniture could be a bit better. Чистота на высоком уровне, все необходимое для комфортного проживания было предусмотрено. Отдельная благодарность хозяевам за радушный прием и внимание к деталям — мы чувствовали себя как дома, а так же за вкусные овощи и фрукты, которыми нас угощали каждый день. Расположение отличное: рядом три огромных пляжа , 20 минут ходьбы до набережной где можно вкусно поужинать, 35 минутах венецианская набержная, рядом минимаркет ( где можно купить вкусное и недорогое домашнее вино) и в двух минутах большой супермаркет. Также в 7 минутах ходьбы есть пекарня, где мы каждое утро покупали свежую пахлаву и пили кофе. С удовольствием вернемся сюда снова и рекомендуем всем, кто ищет качественный отдых в Ханье! 🌿✨ Нет

The owner, a very kind and attentive lady, made us feel at home and even surprised us with fresh produce from her own garden – such a thoughtful gesture! 🌿 I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and pleasant stay. - Dimoska (9/5): Great stay - Great location, very close to the beach, supermarkets and bus stop. Only 7-8 minutes with bus to the center. The room was clean, it had everything we needed, new towels and sheets on day 3, and they cleaned our room every day. There is a washing machine at the rooftop that we used, it was a life saver! The woman at the reception was very nice, and she arranged us a taxi to the airport. We recommend it.

- Biljana (8/5): Everything was excellent, except the bugs in the garden. - Nice, spacious and clean apartment, on a good location, with free private parking, kind staff and food Wifi. Close to a nice beaches Agii Apostoli and Golden beach (it can be done on foot), close to many supermarkets and Jumbo and close to the center (by car or bus). We went by car to the center of Chania, there's a big free parking by the Sabbionara bastion and Anatolikis Tafrou theatro, as well as by the Municipal Art gallery (entrance from Sklavenitis market, Pireos str.). As we were in the ground floor apartment, even though the garden is nice, there are too many Pill bugs (Armadillidiidae), the ones that turn in to a little ball when in danger, in the garden. There was NOT even one bug inside the apartment, but we had to keep the doors shut all the time, because there was always an invasion of the bugs from the grass towards an outdoor sitting furniture. That means there is a high level of moisture in the ground and I think this thing has to be solved somehow, because there are people, like me, that feel a strong displeasure about the invasion of bugs. I understand that there are also people that don't find this a big deal.

- Bård (9/5): Superb - Good location, close to super market and a mini market right next door. Nice staff, and impressed by the fast solution when water hose broke, a plumber were on site the same morning. There is beaches in all directions, but I ended up on the sun beds below "Piranha" almost every day as it was particularly nice with a long sandy beach, no rocks, and good temp. Good beds averaged above 80 sleep score on Samsung Health(over 90 some days, and I never get that at home). Rooftop garden for afternoon sun soaking was nice - and quiet, as I was mostly alone up there. The location is good if you like beach relaxation, and if you want to vacation without a rental car, as transport is easily accessible and the daily needs can be covered on foot. There is parking on-site if you are the more exploring type. It's also away from the main street which makes it quiet. I'd recommend it for single or duo travellers. I only stayed for 14 days.

Free vegetables and fruits on reception every day. Comfortable rooms (we had a triple room on the 2nd floor). Spacious balconies. The sea is just a 3-minute walk away. A great, large supermarket is 2 minutes away. Bus stop 2 minutes. Chania Old Town a 35-minute walk along the seafront. Air conditioning, hot water, a kitchen equipped with everything you need for cooking and eating. Elevator very important. A washing machine with detergent is available for guests to use. If you book a triple room on the second floor, be prepared that there’s an unfinished building right in front of your balcony. Over time, we stopped noticing it and focused on the sea view instead, but on the first day we were quite shocked, we didn’t know the balcony view would be affected.

When You arrive at the hotel You can feel a very welcoming atmosphere and grab some fruites and vegetables from the owners. Rooms are kept clean and amenities adequate for the price. It is also good to note that in 15 mins on the foot You can get to the Chania. The kitchen part of the room was a little dated.

Bed could been softer must admit for 3 weeks stay. Short distance to bus stop and grocery stores. Beaches within walking distance though taking the bus a few stops gave better options. No issues finding parking near the hotel (Ilona also have their own area for parking). We were there late august to mid sept so might be more pressure in high season. Buses usually quite crowded. Renting a car recommended , you get to see so much more of Crete (Anna Cars recommended). All in all, can recommend Ilona Apartments.
- Alina (10/5): Good, comfy, tasty, chill - Nice and quiet location with amazing beaches in a short walk distance. Fruits on the reception desk have the best oranges I’ve ever tried. No such things.
- Mohamed Wassim (10/5): - It ticks most boxes for solo travellers or couples, owner is so friendly and super helpful, would definitely come back again.
- Woyti (8/5): Good location - Good contact with the owner, keys available at any time of the day. Apartment equipped with the necessary equipment. Older generation devices, but functional. Regularly emptied waste bins, change of bed linen, towels. Large balcony, clothes dryer. From the balcony you can see and hear the sea. You can also hear cicadas and a cock. 5 minutes walk to a large market, bus stop and beach. There are several beaches - rocky and sandy. Lifeguards on every beach. Delicious tomatoes, oranges, grapes available every day. Quiet area. The shower tray in the bathroom was quite worn out.
- Zita (10/5): Perfect location, clean, amazing staff - Location is just perfect! 5 minutes walk to Aptera beach, and 10 minutes walk to the Golden Beach which two are great and beautiful when the weather is windy and you cannot swim for example in Agia Marina. Big advantage that in 2 minutes walk you can reach the bus 21 and 15, which takes you to Chania in 12 minutes ride, and operates until midnight on every apr. 10-15minutes. Just opposite you can find a mini market, and in 5 mins walk there are two very good big supermarket. The apartman is well equipped. Comfy beds, nice terrace with partially view to the see. Comfortable, big apartman with good functioning AC and very clean! :) However for me the location was important I have to say I was most happy with the staff. :) Check in and check out was very smooth, we could leave our luggage there even longer after check out. The recepcionist as well the cleaning personel was just amazing kind, offered every day help, advice and big smile! Every day we had some fresh oranges, grapes, tomatoes to eat for gratis, and big plus that they are selling the local bus tickets as well. I will defenetly go back next time.:) Thank you very much for everything! In case you want to go for dinner either you need to go to Chania, or walk 15 minutes to Chrissi Akti. There is a big construction site near Aptera beach so this can cause some dust when you walk to the beach, but not noisy at all, and not effecting the apartman.

- Maja (10/5): Fantastic experience of Greek hospitality :) - The owner was so kind and Helpful ( for example in organising an excursion to Samaria Gorge). The atmosphere was really amazing. Fresh vegetables and fruits from the garden were offered for free at the reception . At the room we found coffee , tea , olive Oli . It was really nice. The location is really good - not in the crowded city centre, but not so far away from it that we could easily walk there every day. Thank you again for a such a great Greek hospitality! We will definitely be back to your apartment in the future:) Everything was great :)
- Paolo (8/5): - La struttura è modesta ma confortevole. Il bagno piccolino ma con un piatto doccia strepitoso. La vista mare c'è ma un pochino tirata. Purtroppo bisogna solo sperare che i vicini siano educati, i rumori sopratutto la notte si sentono tantissimo. Tutte le mattine fichi appena raccolti con pomodori limoni ed arance a disposizione. - Karina (8/5): - Hotellet preges av at det er eldre og enklere standard. Jeg likte alikevel rommet. Under oppholdet siste natten gikk skyve døren til badet i lås. Jeg fikk den nesten ikke opp. Det var ikke hyggelig. Steke platen, var to plater av eldre type, som gjorde at strømmen gikk i hotell rommet når jeg skulle bruke den. Heldigvis var service damen tilgjengelig og byttet til en annen stekeplate. Jeg fikk ikke ny bade håndkle etter først 4 dag og dagen før jeg skulle reise. Jeg har vært på tilsvarende 2 stjerner før hvor de byttet annen hver dag. Det som var fint, var at det var gang avstand til Chania by og til strender i motsatt retning. Fikk låne en parasol som jeg brukte noen dager på stranda, ellers lå jeg under de store trærne ved flere av strendene. Bade temperaturen i havet var helt fantastisk i august. Det var en liten mini butikk i nærheten av hotellet og to store mat butikker oppe ved hovedveien. Jeg utforsket nærområdene ved å gå, og er et sted jeg kan tenke meg å komme tilbake til. Det går an å gå langs kysten inn til Chania på ca 20 minutter eller ta buss som tar ca 5 minutter. I gaten og området hvor jeg bodde, opplevdes det litt som å bo på landet med høner/gjess/geiter, men det var bare hyggelig. Det var også mulighet å ta heis i bygget, som gjorde det lettere å frakte bagasje opp i 2 etasje. Ang hav utsikt, kunne jeg bare se havet når jeg stod oppreist på balkongen. Rommet var romslig, var plass til 3 personer.

- Lynchee (10/5): Royal at the front desk was so friendly and knowledgeable, room excellent and fruit spectacular - The location was within a short walk to the beach. The walk to town was long in the heat so we parked closer to town and then walked the rest of the way. This worked out well for exploring the old town. But there is a nice neighbourhood close by with restaurants. Nothing. Place was amazing and view from the balcony was spectacular.

The bus stop to the city center is around the corner, just as are two major supermarkets, which is very convenient during hot summer days. Our appartment was decent and clean. A major plus was our host, a very helpful and problem-resolving lady. We also had at our disposal free tasty tomatoes, oranges and lemons everyday.

- Alex (10/5): Just right! - Very clean linen, towels etc and comfortable bed. Perfect location not to far from anything - small shop on corner and beach a four minute walk away. Giorgio’s and Roula who run the place are very pleasant and cant do enough to ensure you haves good holiday. Very peaceful. Organic fruit and veg is available free of charge from Georgios garden.
- Saskia (7/5): Good - Kitchenette was well supplied, lovely gesture of complimentary fresh fruits and vegetables daily in the reception, balcony terrace with a view. Great rooftop with sun loungers and a shower. Staff lovely and helpful. Lift in building. Very good nearby big supermarket. Easy walking distance to beach. Some water leaking in the bathroom from sink but not a big issue.
- Jocelyne (9/5): This was our second stay at Ilona and as with the previous visit we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed our stay at Ilona. - The location is perfect if you like to balance beach days with evenings out into town as we do. Argiroula was incredibly helpful and friendly, assisting us with hiring a car for our trip which was delivered to and collected from the apartment, and she provided many useful insights and tips into areas we were looking to visit. The garden is beautiful; adorned with flowers and mango trees. The rooms are equipped with everything you need for simple self-catering and are comfortable and clean. There is nothing we did not like.

- Familien (10/5): Nice holiday with my daughter - My daughter and I were going on our mother and daughter vacation. Since we couldn't find a package tour, we decided to book flights and find a hotel ourselves. As we love the area around Nea Chora, especially the beaches, the result fell on Ilona apartments... Normally we are pool types, so it was a bit with skepticism. But it was immediately knocked down when the sea showed itself from its good side. Warm and quiet. The hotel has everything you need for accommodation. There are shopping facilities within a short distance. A small kiosk only 25 meters away and a supermarket 300 meters away. Will gladly come again. The dogs next to the hotel are very noisy in the night.

I liked the big room, the Complementary starting basket with coffee and tea, it had all necessary appliances to feel like home (even a decent sized fridge if you like to grab some breakfast before leaving to the beach), pretty close to the beach, fresh fruits on the house ( daily), safe parking,any kittens playing around ( this probably can't be guaranteed for each stay haha), rooftop space to see the Perseids.
- Mnunespt (7/5): Decent for the price and location - The parking, the free fresh fruit in the morning. The staff was super nice and helpful. Very close to a nice beach. Perfect air conditioning system. TV was nice. Room was very big. It's a really noisy place. If you intend to sleep longer, either get hear plugs or skip this place all together. Doors banging all the time, furniture being dragged across the floor. Very frustrating Toilet is very cramped. The lamps are super white and bright. You should replace some of them for yellow lights.

- Rachel (9/5): Great Value - The location is great, very close to the beach and a nice supermarket. You can also walk to old Chania, although its a long walk. The sun roof is nice, and they had fresh figs and grapes set out everyday to take. We booked very last minute, so I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The washing machine was always in use.

Super clean rooms, fully resourced and comfortable with private balcony and a beautiful communal roof garden. Complimentary fresh fruits served daily. Plenty of assistance provided with arranging tours and getting around. Great location, a very short walk to several beautiful beaches and a scenic beach stroll to Nea Chora and Chania town centre. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we will definitely be back to stay at Ilona again. Jo & Mike

- Noemi (7/5): Good - staff openess/friendliness fruits on the house at guests' disposal position kitchen facilities (but could be improved) they clean/change towels every 3 days, but we stayed 4 days, which means they cleaned our room (actually in the end they didn't) in the last day before our check-out and then they start all over- it makes no sense you can hear the noise (every step) from the corridor and from the balcony and we had some noisy guests from the apartments on the neighboring accommodation- but this has nothing to do with Ilona appartments -what the other tourists are doing and how noisy they are
