Guest Reviews
- John (10/5): - Everything
- Denzel (3/5): - Bus stop outside the hotel. Stains on bed and no bathroom mat.
Smelt of drains and poo.
- Jennifer (8/5): Convenient location, would stay again. - The location was good for me. Free parking and a helpful, friendly receptionist. Rooms came with a microwave and fridge as breakfast wasn't provided and the shower was good. Also very quiet apart from traffic noise but not enough to keep me awake so I got a good night's sleep. The only thing I would say is that the hotel does look tired and could do with some TLC, but in this economic climate it can't be easy for businesses.
- Dandas (10/5): -
- Andy (8/5): Comfortable bed and great room. - Car park and excellent room on the ground floor. Nothing.
- Christophe Salon (3/5): -
- Emma (6/5): - Reasonably priced, last minute booking. Dated and not the most glamorous hotel, but comfortable enough for a night.

- Lazarus74 (5/5): Trivelles-Stockport - - The location (for what my plans were, location ideal!
- tea facilities in bedroon
- additional chairs in bedroom
- vending machine- easily accesible, reasonably priced - bed, not all great, but for what its worth, ok for short stays
- noise level! I have no clue how the other guests were allowed to play music so loud, that was major downfall- asked front desk to speak to guests, as soon as they left, volume went right back up until midnight!
- creaking noises- could hear people upstairs walking around, stomping, kept me up for ages.
You get what you pay for in terms facilities, water was good temperature, shower was a little on the small side
- toilet- water did not flush properly, had to do it about 3-4 times
- Philip (7/5): Adequate - Clean and tidy.
Comfy bed and warm Wifi non functional
Usb sockets non functional
Smart Tv unwatchable because wifi non functional

- Mark (6/5): Did the job as a stop for an early flight but couldn’t get to sleep early, as required for a 4am early start, for people - Pleasant staff. Noisy location and premises.
- Nick (4/5): You get what you pay for - Location was good for my meeting the next day Hotel was not very clean and very noisy in the evening
- Iain (1/5): Dont Go - Mylord. This place is grim. It had a patched up door, it was visibly dirty there was a 4 way plug hanging mid wall with the apliances plugged in. It smelt , I didnt take my cloths of. The girl on recption was probably the best thing , 140.00 I should of stayed in the car. Everything
- Susan (1/5): Disaster - Staff friendly on arrival Fridge not working. Shower door broken. Shower itself broken and unusable. Cold water and hand shower missing so water gushed out of hole. Sink seemed blocked. Water drained very slowly which was disaster as the shower not working. Rang manager as no staff available when leaving. He said he would inspect and return call. No return call. I have stayed previously and it had been ok. But this stay disaster.

- Aaran (9/5): -
- Giblin (8/5): -
- Wilding (1/5): Shocking - Nothing at all!! The room was horrible, it wasn't cleaned at all. I found a used condom at the side of the bed, the stains on the Beeding and mattress was ridiculous. The staff was so rude and just told me to book another hotel!! The manager wasn't interested in anything I said or shown him!! Definitely avoid
- Shallcross (2/5): Rubbish - Nothing Dirty uncomfortable and no staff
- Karl (1/5): -
- Ash (10/5): - Attentive staff. Comfy bed. Good shower. Microwave and mini fridge in the room, what a bonus.
- Craig (1/5): Absolute dump avoid at all costs disgusting place - Nothing.
Upon arrival the windows were boarded up windows smashed ppl smoking weed outside Bedroom carpet was dirty
Furniture was falling apart
When you turned the bathroom light on the extractor fan sounded like a helicopter had landed on the roof
Both got bitten of the bed
- Toby (10/5): Good Value for money, great location. - Room was clean, microwave and kettle in room too with tea and coffee. Great value for money in a great location.
- Richard (9/5): -
- Besmir (1/5): I went there for work too much noise I could not sleep all night - Nothing Nothing
- Veronique (1/5): Awful hotel - AVOID - I think the only things I liked were the location and the price. Where to begin….. The room hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The carpet was dirty and had rubbish on it. It clearly wasn’t vacuumed. The furniture had bits hanging off it. There was a hair in the bed. The bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and there was no space whatsoever to put toiletries. The wardrobe which was on its last leg 10 years ago only had 2 hangers in it. I felt like I needed a shower after leaving the hotel, it was that dirty.
- Callum (1/5): never again - honestly nothing wasn’t even cheap the beds were so uncomfortable, shower was cold, room was cold
- Husnain (5/5): -
- Fearless32016519651 (2/5): Avoid at all costs! - Struggled to park with large bins all over the car park, rubbish and people taking multiple spots up in the car park.
Receptionist wasn't exactly chirpy to say the least.
Could just smell cannabis throughout the whole experience to the point that when we left it took about 10 minutes of driving for that smell to go. People going in and out smoking it in the car park must have been stood next to our car with it.
Making our way to our room we could see dirty marks on hand rails to the point my partner told me not to touch the rails...
Walking through the corridors we hear nothing but shouting from other rooms which we could also hear from our "sound proofed" room...
In the room was just another story, it got worse, bathroom floor falling through, food and drink stains on the walls around the skirting boards, torn wall papers with staines on the wall above the bed too. Around light switches dirty hand prints the lot...
Carpets had marks in it.
I sat on the mattress and literally felt the bed frame underneath through it all, no way I could sleep comfortably on that old thing.
Was coughing my guts up within five minutes as both me and my partner was thinking on what to do about the night and after deciding to go elsewhere we've took pictures and a video of it.
Sharing our short 5 minute experience of our time there with the guy at the desk (in a calm and freindly manner), showing him the footage my partner then said "do you not see anything wrong with that?" And he replied "no"...
I then handed the room card/key to him and booked another hotel for the night.
In the time I was booking another I said "would you be happy staying here?" And he replied "no".
Talking about refunds to him and hes said to contact them on Monday. I have and it seems they're ignoring me now ive shown pictures. So I then sent them the video too.
I would definitely say avoid staying at this place, atmosphere the lot its all horrendous and to be honest im surprised its even open.
£75 for one night, if I knew what it was like before i'd have rather have paid to decorate and then stay as it would have done them a favour and still have cost me less.
Unfortunately it wont let me attach the video but in the video you can see much more as you would with your eyes.
- David (6/5): - No Comment.. No Comment.
- Alexandra (1/5): Probably the worst kept hotel I’ve ever stayed in - Good location and free parking. Also nice staff on the front desk. Filthy, shabby and not good value for money. The towels had someone else’s hair on them and the pillowcases had mascara on them so I doubt the linen had even been washed. Lots of botched repair jobs in the room. Also the most uncomfortable bed I’ve slept in.
- Gemma (6/5): - Room was clean and amenities were good with a cooler and microwave When my partner accidentally left something of value in a drawer, we attempted to report it immediately, but no one answered the phone. After multiple attempts he was finally told that the manager would deal with it. The next day he went to speak to them in person, after a lot of back and forth they said that someone else had been in the room since and they couldn't find it (after having plenty of chance to look in the exact location between us checking out and them checking in). We won't be staying there again which is a shame after the multiple good experiences we had there.
- Nuno Alexandre Rodrigues (6/5): -
- hutchinson (8/5): I enjoyed my stay the room was ok. The bus service was very easy and frequent all night into the cit - No breakfast was provided The outside and surrounding building was disappointing but inside was clean. The bedroom was smelling of cigarette smoke I had to open the window and spray for comfort. A no no smoking policy should be given Inspection carried out after room exit.
- Julia (5/5): It did the job as we just needed a bed for the night. - Cheap and basic. It’s what I expected.
Very friendly reception staff.
Car park with free parking. Tatty and a bit run down.
- Hannah (3/5): Never again - Not like advertising had a really bad smell and sheets were filthy
- Gemma (6/5): Value for money - Great location and price staff were lovely The mattress was shocking so uncomfortable. Bathroom so tiny
- Hannah (3/5): Terrible - Not like advertised at all nothing like it . It stunk all way through the corridors into the rooms . Bed sheets filthy , had no choice but to stay although I complained will not be attending ever again
- Max (8/5): Fair for the rate paid - Rate Mattress needs updating
- Fletcher (9/5): -
- Watfa (3/5): Bad smell. Dust. - Big room.nice stuff. En suite Smell of old furniture, old carpet, damp, dusty, I sneezed several times. Smell on hallway as well.
- Wright (1/5): -
- mike (9/5): -
- Danny (1/5): Awful - Nothing The manager and their attitude and the other Tennants were all taking or smoking drugs blatantly I just needed a place to stay, the whole place stink of weed!!! I want reimbursing for all my stays at this property because I previously complained and they would not give me their names or who the manager was when I was actually speaking with the manager. I needed a place to stay paid lots of money and they did not take or acknowledge my complaints, I didn’t even have a tv remote for days and no clean bedding towels etc!
- Robson (1/5): - The corridors were filthy and smelt so bad we checked in and had to change rooms 3 times. The first room wasn’t cleaned and smelt of gone off milk our second room smelt of smoke an our 3 rd room our heater was broken and on full heat burning we couldn’t turn it down which is dangerous yet no other rooms were available so we had to sleep
With the window wide open to cool down the room
On a busy road definitely will not reccomend this hotel the worst we have ever stayed in!
- Suzanne (10/5): The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and tidy - The staff are very friendly and would recommend them to family and friends There wasn't anything we didn't like
- Callum (4/5): ok but nothing good - the price was cheap and affordable and a handy snack and drink vending machine downstairs was good the mattresses so uncomfortable and springy. the hallway also smelled funny
- William (8/5): - Good budget hotel No Breakfast
- Aaran (9/5): -
- Joshua (7/5): -
- Rachael (3/5): -
- Les (1/5): Pathetic - Very dirty we left after 15 minutes Every
- David (7/5): good value - decorating a bit scruffy
- Tom (7/5): Ignore bad reviews. This is a clean, comfortable hotel but would be better if breakfast was offered. - After booking my room, I saw some very poor reviews about cleanliness and so on, so I was agreeably surprised to find that everything was clean and looked new. Maybe it’s had a makeover. The room was spacious and the receptionists were very helpful, both in the evening and on my departure. No breakfast. Payment on booking, not departure. No possibility of a refund if I had had to cancel.
- Lavery (10/5): -
- Vanesa (3/5): -
- Stuart (5/5): - The price was appropriate Window danger. Hot water didn't work and lift didn't work. And by the next day the price had more than doubled from
£54to £ 150 for 1 night i went and got a 4 star hotel for that next day in wilmslow.

4th room ok ish that's all I can say ì
- Michelle (8/5): -
- Chris (5/5): Handy location but wouldn’t recommend - Proximity to our daughters house Looked dilapidated outside and unwelcoming
Unsure of its primary use and other guests/resudents
- Lorant93 (10/5): -
- Barlow (7/5): Good hotel - Had everything we needed. Perfect for short city trip. Was only a £10 Uber to Co-op live. 210 room window shutter had a hole which let the sun in, which woke my girlfriend up.
- Elisa (1/5): -
