- Neil (9/5): Met all expectations and very good location for exploring the area - Good food on first evening of stay. Three breakfasts all very good. Excellent and comfortable double bed. It was very quiet with only two other couples staying in the hotel
- Stephen (6/5): - Comfortable bed Staff didn't make you feel welcomed and just messed around on there phones

- Robinson (9/5): A great luxury retreat - Rooms were lovely - beautifully furnished and beds so comfy. Hotel was set in amazing gardens and location. Very peaceful and relaxing. A perfect retreat. Good food too - enjoyed nice breakfast each morning and a delicious evening meal at night! Nothing - looking forward to finding excuse to come again!
- Nigel (7/5): Good - Lovely grounds
Big room Room wasn’t cleaned during the stay
- Moira (9/5): - Staff were very friendly and went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. The tv wasn’t working so they replaced it immediately. The breakfast was good and I ate in the restaurant every night which was perfect for me . They had a good choice on the menu. As a woman staying on my own here, I felt very safe and comfortable and would definitely come back again .

- Paul (7/5): - A great location and view, the room was very comfy No restaurant facilities at 7pm. No visible staff when I tried to book in and the following morning when I was trying to get breakfast.
- Andrew (7/5): Great place. Need to get a chef who can up the game in the kitchen. - Wry comfortable. Room very well finished. All facilities worked except the TV. Staff made aware but didn’t make any difference. Glad I had the iPad. The food. Items from the menu not available. Bland in appearance. Tasted ok.
- Michael (7/5): -
- Stephen (8/5): A good place to stay which suited our requirements - Comfortable, well furnished room with wonderfully fluffy towels. Friendly staff and efficient service. Breakfast options are a little limited, especially for vegetarians
- Slam (10/5): Nice and cosy - Landscape
- Guest (8/5): -
- sophie (8/5): - Lovely location Would be better with evening entertainment/ more food options
- Alan (10/5): - Old fashioned, cozy, comfortable. Soft beds, warm rooms, windows you can open and an excellent breakfast
- Andrew (2/5): Not the best - Garden looked nice Room very hot and bed linen smelt musty, when checked in no explanation of what time breakfast was served or where it was served, toilet didn’t flush properly
- Sven (5/5): -
- Colin (9/5): - Hotel was spotless, country side location, Views, grounds, had restrauant, friendly staff, good breakfast.
- Charlie (6/5): -
- Gregory (8/5): - Quiet location. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Staff great.
- Antoinette (10/5): - Room 25 is a ground floor bedroom any everything was 100%. The food quality was 1st class and plates were filled to maximum. Staff were all good and eager to please and the grounds are superb, just right for wedding receptions. Will stay again. Nothing to dislike except the rain.
- Bibu (8/5): -
- Susan (8/5): Great stay, good new owners, vastly improved menu. Overall good. - The new owners are very nice and polite. Their talking in very loud voices in an unknown language (NOT welsh) could be improved but these are all teething troubles and can be ironed out. Staff were very friendly and approachable, professional and smart. We have been many times before under different owners. The menu has vastly improved and food was well cooked, very plentiful and tasted great. Spacious rooms and immaculately clean. Plentiful parking. Very good WiFi. Breakfast was not ready at 7am on any of the days we stayed. That needs improvement. Some would not mind but we needed to be out of the hotel very early.
- Sutharsan (10/5): -
- Michael (6/5): Great location, rooms very good, plenty of parking, very disappointed in breakfast - Very poor
Yogurts out of date, only flavoured variety, only cornflakes and coco pops in dispenser, ie no muesli,
Coffee good and there was good multi grain bread available.Staff very good As above
- Barry (4/5): For the cost it was not worth the money - As the owners have not been there that long, we felt the hotel was very disorganised . Hopefully the hotel will improve. Breakfast was not good they kept running out of food and plates at breakfast, so you had to wait, and when food came it seemed rushed, like a fresh loaf of bread which was frozen, and when food came it was in small amounts, felt sorry for the guy doing it.
- Arpan (7/5): -
- Lee (7/5): It was peaceful and relaxing. I was late for breakfast 3 times but when I did have the Full Welsh breakfast it reminded - The quiet and solitude The gurgling radiators with air in them and the constant flashing Xmas lights
- Luke (7/5): -
- Power (10/5): Beautiful hotel very clean and polite owner will come back again - Stunning location with exceptional views
- Thomas (1/5): You can't check in at any time as advertised! No one attends the desk most of the time - I booked this for my sister and her husband to stay on their way to their honeymoon destination after their ferry. I called in advance to check that they can check in later in the night and I got assured that the reception is 24h, and it also said that on the ad. When they arrived at 12.30 after their ferry docked, no one was there to check them in so they slept in the car after trying to knock on doors and trying to get in the building for ages. There were multiple times the phones weren't answered after that and even Bookings couldn't get a hold of anyone at the hotel for ages when trying to get their side. Despite that, the hotel is now claiming there is always someone at reception and basically saying we did a no-show. I've never experienced such awful service and incompetence, and Bookings is managing it very badly as well - maybe a few people have to go through a similar thing for them to actually do something about this hotel so hopefully this review can help someone who's found themselves in the same situation.
- mathias (7/5): - Promotion sur Booking sinon trop cher car ça fait un peu vieillot
- Ashapriya (10/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): - Clean warm welcoming
Excellent value for money Great products in bathroom
Nice breakfast
Friendly Staff
- Pauline (10/5): Clean comfortable and friendly - Have stayed here several times, always enjoy the hotel and surrounding area. Good selection for breakfast
- Mike (8/5): -
- Mark (7/5): -
- Peaker (2/5): This is no longer a 3* hotel - The room The welcome
The preparation of the dining room for meals e.g. just knife and fork and paper napkin on a plastic table cloth for dinner.
Waitress in an anorak in a cold dining room.
Main course did not include all the items on the menu
Fruit salad on breakfast menu but not prepared etc
- Antony (7/5): -
- Bray (8/5): - Location was peaceful and staff very helpful
- Colin (7/5): -
- Garry (10/5): -
- Stephen (7/5): Good all round and beautiful well kept grounds. - Dinner was good. Attentive staff and decent meeal. Soft background music could improve the ambience.
- P (8/5): I would stay again. - Breakfast was very good. Room was good albeit a bit basic, but good value for money. The sitting room part of the suit seemed basic and the pine wardrobe enclosing the TV seemed very out of place.
- linda (10/5): -
- Carl (10/5): - Fantastic staff, very clean room, exceptional breakfast....... in fact brilliant all round Absolutely nothing ...... maybe the weather.
- Keith & Narelle (8/5): Near perfect. - Great location. Nothing, was hard to leave.
- Tex (10/5): Excellent value -
- Gareth (2/5): - Awful
- DaveB82 (8/5): -
- Rochelle (10/5): - Nice main building situated on a large property with a lot of walking area and great views.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable.
Hopefully my next visit there will be without rain so I can explore more.
- Michael (9/5): - Secluded Hotel not far from the port of Pembroke....staff were kind and helpful.
Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Nothing to dislike.
- Paul (8/5): -
- Mark (7/5): Staff very pleasant - Full Welsh breakfast - very good. Seeing a local authority rating of
‘2’ for food handling and cleanliness
- Terry (7/5): Good base - Bed was comfortable, good parking and friendly staff. Hot water didn’t work very well.
- ALESSANDRO (8/5): MY WIFE AND I HAD A GREAT RELAXING AND PLEASANT STAY.ALL STAFF REALLY WORKED HARD. - ALL STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND ALLWAYS WILLING TO HELP IF NEEDED.
BREAKFAST WAS VERY GOOD AS WERE THE BAR FACILITIES.
OUR BATHROOM FACILITIES WERE GREAT.
THIS IS A REALLY GREAT HOTEL AND GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY.
I COULD SEE THAT THE FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN WERE TAKEN CARE OF. NO COMPLAINTS JUST PLEASANT MEMORIES.
- anthony (6/5): So so. - Hotel was alright. Room was a good size but in need of updating. Shower was not much more than a dribble. Breakfast was good. Had dinner on our first night. The food was very good but expensive.
- sharon (7/5): - Location The price was expensive
- Frank (8/5): -
- Christie (8/5): Lovely Stay, but the Room was too Hot. - The room was extremely clean and the bed was amazing! The room was extremely hot when we arrived. The curtains had been left open with the sun shining through all day. There was no air conditioning either. A member of staff did provide us with a fan and the room cooled during the night.
- Jerry (8/5): A good location, quiet country surroundings yet only a stone's throw from Pembroke Town. - Rooms were spacious with good lighting. Nice bathroom with instant hot water. Controlled extractor with off switch.
Great parking. Owners and staff very pleasant. Cooking good Restaurant meals were closed off far too early, so after 20.00 you could not order a meal. Suggest this is amended to 21.00.
- wanqing (8/5): - location good, very quiet. Staff nice, room tidy. waiting long time for the breakfast food, like fried eggs, everytime only provide a few.
- Sandra (1/5): Very disappointing and uncomfortable - The accommodation reeked of dampness, no soundproofing between overhead room which led to a lot of noise, not very clean, not value for money, won't visit again
- Julie (6/5): Pretty good 3* hotel, clean, comfy and a great location. - The room and in room facilities were really good. A good sized room, very comfy bed, tea and coffee. I asked for non-dairy milk which was quickly provided. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Beautiful location and gardens. It was very peaceful and I got a good night's sleep. The shower was over the bath with a shower curtain, this is a pet hate of mine. Staff were not always easy to find. I didn't see anyone for checkout so just hung my key on the relevant pin.
Not a great deal of choice for vegan diners, just the requisite vegan burger. No starters for me.
I couldn't figure out how to open the window wider. It was a really warm evening and the room was very warm.
- Gianluca (7/5): -
- Marek (5/5): - Raum war feucht, muffig und stark parfümiert.
Frühstücks-Buffet war zu klein für die Gäste und ständig leer.
- Mike (10/5): - The peace and quiet Returning home
- Carolyn (9/5): - The suite worked very well. The photographs online did not do the property justice. The doors banging late evening/ early morning.
- Mahalingam (8/5): -
- John (3/5): We were disappointed and it wasn't value for money. - Poor choice of cereals,no muesli. No plain yoghurt. No fresh Danish pastries or croissants, only pre-wrapped offering, which weren't Danish pastries. Some toasting bread was brought out still frozen on two mornings.
Evening meal disappointing. One main course was tasteless, the pate and melba toast starter was served with ordinary toast and pate was semi-liquid. Service was very slow. Bedroom was uncomfortably hot. Shower in bathroom was extremely hot and unadjustable.
- Cheryl (8/5): Stayed two nights to attend Llangwm lit fest. Convenient and quiet location. You need a car to get here as it is down a - Very quiet and peaceful Limited choice of vegetarian food
- Georg (8/5): -
- Lea (4/5): -
- Wells (4/5): -
- NEIL (9/5): A great last minute and good value find! - Lovely location in the Pembrokeshire countryside. Great ensuite rooms with lots of natural light and 'green' view to the grounds. Very nice bar area and dining room. Friendly welcome by the recently new owners...a family concern...in particular from the very bubbly and smiley daughter, Parleen (spelling ?) :-) Evening food pretty good with a great breakfast selection. 11am departure. Nothing really, but only constructive comment would be that they up their game a bit on attentive table service. Long gaps between asking if anything was needed. Offering menus etc. The smiles by all made up for all of this, but one cannot help but think that they will need more staff for any do's in their well appointed function room.

- Charlie (10/5): - Had a fantastic stay We was pleasantly surprised with the size of our family room it was more like a 2 bedroom apartment, it was cosy and comfortable and had a TV in each of the rooms, it had a nice sized bath room with a nice big bath lovely and relaxing, the building was beautiful and was surrounded with lovely grounds, friendly staff, we would definitely stay here again We really loved everything, only thing was no one was available when it came to checking out we rang the bell and looked in the bar ect and couldn't see any members of staff we hung around for a bit but in the end we had to leave our key on the main deck with other keys that other customers had left I'm assuming due to same reason,
This really wasn't a problem I was just a little unsure if it was safe to do so, maybe a key drop of box would be a good idea on the front desk for future customers checking out
- caroline (9/5): Recommended - Very clean, very friendly staff and beds were comfortable Nothing
- Lica (9/5): I recommend - Nice location Good room
- Mark (8/5): - Nice rural setting very quiet
Nice food Rooms could do with updating
- Janice (5/5): -
- Bronwyn (5/5): Not sure if I would stay again - The gardens Felt it was unprofessional the owners children running around
- Kirsty (10/5): - Beautiful, peaceful location, very well kept, welcoming and friendly staff, fantastic breakfast.
- Jessica (6/5): Our one-night stay was fine but I wouldn’t stay more than one night. - The annex room was quaint, nice vaulted ceiling with beams. Very nice staff. Getting to the annex room was a slim staircase which was covered in spider webs. Door to the room also covered in webs with a big spider handing out by the handle. The floor of the room was incredibly noisy, waking up my partner whenever I walked across the room to use the toilet. Extremely stuffy, no airflow with windows open. Uncomfortable bed. Shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold. Stained upholstery on the furniture.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Good family hotel, excellent value for money. - Good size rooms for those travelling with kids. Beautiful grounds. Well priced. Perfect for our needs. Handy location to explore pembs
- Hugh (4/5): Disappointing. We won't return. - The room was OK, comfortable and quiet. Not too hot or too cold. The breakfast bar was frankly very disappointing. Some standard cereals, a few yogurts, bread still in its packets for you to make toast. On the two mornings we were there we had to ask for plates as there were none there. On one occasion the filter coffee had run out and they hadn't made any more, thinking that there were probably no more guests still to come. The ambience was poor because there were very few other guests in a large property. The general feeling was of a place trying to save money.
Nulla.
- Victoria (8/5): Great place to stay - would happily return. - Peaceful, rural, very comfortable, friendly staff, excellent breakfast Quality of food at dinner wasn’t the best, & only 1 dish suitable for gluten free
- Andrew (10/5): -
- Karen (6/5): Beggers Reach - Location Seemed a little disorganised from the previous stay. E.g Breakfast tables not laid out, staff not visible/ ok service
- Martin (8/5): - Nice hotel with ample free parking.
- Kenneth (7/5): -
- Rebecca (7/5): - Staff friendly, lovely and clean the beds were really comfy great value for price
