What we liked
The building itself was actually decent and the room was generally fine. The property seemed fairly clean and the basic accommodations were acceptable for a short stay.
What we didn’t like
The major issue we experienced involved a serious lack of privacy and professionalism from one of the employees.
Early in the morning, around 9:00 AM — about two hours before checkout — an employee knocked on the door asking if we were leaving that day. My wife, who is still recovering from medical issues and was resting in bed, told him yes, we would be checking out later.
A short time later, the same employee came back again. After knocking, he opened the door and walked several feet into the room without permission, standing in the middle of the room asking again if we were checking out. This happened while my wife was alone in the room and still in bed, which made her extremely uncomfortable.
Later we realized he had come to the door multiple times within a short period, repeatedly asking the same question even though checkout time had not arrived yet. This was completely unnecessary and felt intrusive.
I went downstairs and reported the incident to management. The manager briefly apologized, but there did not appear to be any real action taken regarding the employee involved. The situation was concerning because guests should never have staff entering their rooms without clear notice or permission, especially when someone is alone.
Because of this experience, we left feeling uneasy about the level of guest privacy and safety being respected at this location. Review – WoodSpring Suites (Irving, TX)

- marcus (8/5): -
- Adolph (9/5): - No breakfast Toilet was broken
- Wesley (8/5): - Relatively new hotel close to restaurants, shopping. Hotel has a weird policy that you may only enter from the front door. No using the rear or side doors

- Archie (8/5): Give it a go - Clean and safe very basic.
- Jaime (10/5): Great but a few flaws - The only thing was the floor was sticky and I didn’t see anyone there when I was staying .. missing tv remote .. other than that it was quiet and comfortable

- Paulo (2/5): - There was nobody at the front desk, rang the bell several times, but had to call on the phone.
- Shaji (4/5): - Shower was not working. This place is for contractors. Not family friendly.
- Kayla (2/5): - Absolutely awful experience. The room had bed bugs and they had no other rooms to move us to. The only thing they told us was that they sprayed often. We requested a refund and they would not honor it. I never got my money back from the visit and Expedia was no help either. Do not recommend.
- Antonio (10/5): -
- Kaori (8/5): - The lady at the front was very nice and helpful
- Tracy (1/5): Didn't end up staying - The location but we didn't end up staying the staff was very friendly TV didn't work a dog was barking as we waited on elevator just overall didn't feel comfortable
- Malini (1/5): -
- Eli'ezer (7/5): -
- Quentin (6/5): Overall, okay - My stay was okay. The rates were low, so I got what I paid for. Checking in went great, the lady at the front desk was very helpful. The room overall was okay, the floors were very clean and the shower/tub was very clean. Some of the cons, the couch and curtains were dirty. There was some confusion later on in the day because they assigned a woman to my room. I came back from getting food and her stuff was at my door. They kind of sent her on a wild goose chase. She said that was the second room they assigned her that already had someone in it.
- Latonya (1/5): - I do not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel please read this message and please listen this hotel is very unprofessional employees very unprofessional housekeeping do not even clean your room or give you towels or give you blankets they don't have ice maker the rules are very raggly and when you ask for any room service all the employees have a attitude so I recommend you or anyone in this world do not go to this hotel I know it's a $55 a day but do not waste your $55 on that hotel go somewhere else and look on the app and spend your $55 at a very professional place please read this information and listen Please do not go here at this hotel and rent or stay or pay a week or anything please take your hard and work money somewhere that's very nice respectful and kind and clean
- Les (8/5): -
- Katherine (7/5): Good - It was clean and comfortable. It was worn and dated. There was no one at the front desk in the morning for check out and the keys only opened the front doors. Back doors were o ly accessible from inside the building. There was no ice or shampoo etc.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional - Was greeted at the door like family. Bed was a little rough.
- Asha (5/5): It was chill - I loved the location off the property Elevator was tripping
Facility stunk
- Cauis (5/5): Passable - Location ok The beds are very old
- Tmyra (1/5): Didn’t get to stay at all but paid for a week in advance - Overcharged and lied saying I had money due on my account which could never happen because I always paid 2 days early in advance for the whole week she got a nasty attitude and disrespect me and lied and called the cops like I was trespassing. I ask for my refund due to me not being accommodated at all . She rudely said no they will give me a refund on a week of stay that I was never allowed not even a hour in the room I paid for with my own hard earned money. Rude, disrespectful, scammers, liars, thieves, manipulators, blasphemous people
- Wei (6/5): Pleasant - I stay almost one month. There was no TV available.
- Kellen (6/5): - Needed to check out two days before my original check out day because I didn't have classes for those two days... I had just only found out, and they weren't helpful at all. I was refunded one cent. Not consumer friendly at all.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - It’s worst experience, no cleanliness and bad smell, staff is not available,
- Latonya (1/5): Bad - The location We made a reservation for 2 weeks starting today after 3 months of being there apparently we were rude with housekeeping which never come until check out time beating the door down...so the manager Mariah let us book our room this morning gave us the option to leave or stay from the housekeeper and we go to the front desk and she denied us service after we booked our room we've been in for 3 months. The property is the worst suite I've ever been to..I had to grab my belongings and take the stairs the elevator always goes out the washing machine..no coffee....Not a good suite to be at
- Archie (2/5): Never consistant - This place is never consistent. I stay here once a week while traveling for business. On July 5 I rent my usual and was told that no rooms were available I was also told that I should never use hotels.com because they never get things right. The clerk was so rude and dismissive. Last week I stayed in a room that had water damage and mold.
- Mendoza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Subbarayudu (2/5): - Terribke..Big disappointment…the room was smelling so bad and horrible..it felts the same entire lobby and elevators..no shower curtain.Bed was so uncomfortable and noisy.no daily room clean up service..poor cleanliness
- Edgar Eduardo (6/5): You get what you pay for. - Front desk closes after 10pm leads to a nightmarish and incredibly slow check in process, as you have to call a phone number on a piece of paper that’s on the front desk window.
Horrible setup. Had to wait like 30 mins to check in, as no one was answering the phone number.
Having to wait for someone to open the front desk window just to simply check in, and the rep not finding my Hotel.com reservation and telling me she can’t do anything about it and for me to call Hotels.com directly,
to her randomly finding my reservation already printed and ready for me,
was an incredibly slow and painful overall stay.
5 outta 10. Wouldn’t recommend.
- Justin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marqueta (6/5): - The staff was friendly. But it seemed a bit outdated. The kitchenette area was missing a drawer. The tub has cracks on the side. I will say it was clean so that was a plus. So maybe if your looking for something on the cheaper side this would be it.
- Martin (7/5): Good -
- Stephanie (2/5): Never Again - Horrible, got bit by bed bugs/mites found two dead roaches while I was there. Was suppose to stay for 12 days only lasted 6 days.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alisha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fatima (1/5): Bad -
- Nisharg (1/5): Bad -
- SAHITH (6/5): - its decent
- Lokesh (9/5): Superb -
- Tarun (2/5): - Reception area is either closed or No one at the reception. When it was open, I kept ringing the bell, no one came up. Property is pretty dirty. Room was just okay. Deadlock on the door didn't work, refrigerator was corroded etc. Will never stay at this place again for sure.
- Katherine (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location
- Romano (3/5): I waited for 2 hours in my car to get a room and when I finally get one, open the door there was a big ass refrigerator a - Nothing Everything
- Shasaunda (4/5): I will not stay here again. - The location was in a good area Too much going on. I didn’t feel safe. I reserved a double bed room for my son and me. No doubles were available. My son had to buy an air mattress because the sofa was too small to sleep comfortably.
- Dawn (2/5): - Two cop cars there at 7pm check in Manager asked if I could come back in 30 min because of a “situation” went to get a cold drink from the drink machine and they said it wasn’t working. When we got to the room, the TV didn’t work wasn’t even hooked up. Floor was sticky. But, the hot water in the shower was really hot which was a good thing!
- Inez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ronald (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sanjuanita (1/5): Bad - They did not reserve my room . When I got there I had place to stay. I had to run around the the town . Until I found some where to stay so I liked nothing about this place Nothing
- Matt (1/5): No stay. They ruined our weekend. - We showed up after a 10 hr drive and they told us they didn't have our room. It was under construction, dirty and filled with unsavory people and they turned us away, evidently renting our room we paid for out.
- Tyrone (10/5): Exceptional -
- Yuanyuan (2/5): - The actual condition does not look like the picture on the website. There is an odor (like smoke) everywhere in the hotel. Only one person works there, and he is too busy and incompetent to address anything since this is his fifth day working there. The location does not look safe. Some people look strange getting in and out, which raises my concern.
- Aaron (10/5): - Great stay nice quiet comfortable place
- Tommie (6/5): - The property is not kept up, the rooms were adequate and not very clean.
- Meghana (6/5): Pleasant -
- Susie (3/5): Not one - Did not have room available with a reservation online due to problems with some of the other rooms which caused people to be moved around. I wasn’t notified even through property knew they were full. Organization of rooms and booking procedures.
- Inez (10/5): Exceptional -
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Na
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Na
- ANA (2/5): - Ay least The receptionist was nice and very attentive. The hotel was noisy and smelly, with a constant stream of loud guests and a lingering odor of mildew.
- Mahesh (2/5): - It 1.5 hours to checkin. Not so clean. Makeshift beds of low quality. Front desk never available. Will not stay here in the future while many better choices are available.
- James (4/5): Not Good - Non smoking room and it smelled like smoke so bad, there was a layer of stickiness everywhere
- Jenna (2/5): - This was the dirtiest place I have ever stayed in. Not to mention, I rented a two bed room and they didn’t have that available. I had to share a tiny bed with two other people. This place is terrible. We stayed 1 of our 3 nights.
- Allone (1/5): Bad - Nothing I booked a room online and when I got there they gave my room to someone else and told me they didn’t have anymore rooms after I had booked innadvance I never even got a refund
