• Shihiro (10/5): - Très bon accueil, personnel souriant agréable et serviable. Le seul point négatif au début que l'on peut trouver est sa localisation. Mais au final avec un pass bus pour la journée cela s'arrange. Centre commercial/Supermarché à 10 min à pied (pour des promos avantageuses la venue du repas du soir) et autres magasins intéressants. Le restaurant est à tester autant de fois à souhait, ainsi que son petit déjeuner peu coûteux et très bon. Très bon séjour à Kyoto et ils en sont pour quelque chose.
• Lia (8/5): A super nice hostel - We stayed for 2 days and were very happy. The hostel owner is very kind and friendly. The hostel is very nice and has places to eat, combinis and supermarkets in near vicinity. The only thing which isn't perfect is the location. It's a bit far from most of the sightseeing spots but the host did a very good job with super detailed information on how to use the transport to get from the hostel to diverse spots. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay.
• Hajime (10/5): 温かい宿でした。 - 少し遅れてチェックインしたのですが、とても丁寧に対応していただきました。 笑顔が素敵なオーナーさんが印象的でした。 タオルを用意していただけたのがとてもありがたかったです。 周りにラーメン屋さんがたくさんあるほか、コンビニも近くて便利です。 下の階がオーナーさんの経営する飲食店だったのでほんの少し音が聞こえることもありましたが、実家の二階で子どもだけが先に寝て、大人だけが起きているような、懐かしい感じがしました。
• Drew (8/5): The Lund House - A Simply Perfect Hostle. - The Lund House is a small simplistic hostel in a nice and quiet part of town. It is still easily accessible, however, with the closest bus being line 17 or 206 (Summer 2018). The Lund House is very small and compact, but as long as you have pleasant roommates the place feels like a wonderful home. I would gladly stay here again. And at their listed price you can't beat it!

• Arielle (10/5): Cozy staff - Incredibly friendly staff and service as soon as I walked through the door. Beds were cozy with outlets, a shelf, and curtains. Small kitchen facilities but gets the job done. Even some free whiskey and soft drinks! Ramen shop downstairs is absolutely delicious. Train station near by. Bike rental was reasonable and the bath was heaven. I especially loved the helpful binders full of information about the attractions in Kyoto and bus system.

De plus, pas d’accueil à 15 heures, contrairement à ce qui était indiqué. J’ai été tellement déçu que j’ai immédiatement recherché un autre hôtel, tout en sachant que je ne serai pas du tout remboursé.

• ARA (8/5): 외풍대비만 잘한다면 가격대비 최고! - 현관문오픈되어있어 겨울이라 외풍심해 1층 침대는 방에 히터가 빵빵해도 한기가 돌아 2층서 동생과같이 잠. 히터땜에 건조하니까 마스크와 안대필수! 늦은 체크인인데도 친철하게맞아줌. 건물 1층은 두 라면집모두맛집! 야식가능. 주변 거리도 예쁘고 서점도 있고 주변 맛집 많고 바로 앞 편의점도 있고 근처 큰 마트도 있고 역이랑도 가깝고 근처 우체국통도 있고 짱짱!! 근데.. 외풍이 진짜 심해서 씻으러갈때 정말 힘들었어요ㅜㅠ

• Verified traveler (10/5): コスパ、雰囲気、様々な方との会話、スタッフの親切さ、セキュリティーVery Good！ - ビジネスホテルが全くなく、出張先に徒歩圏内のルンドハウスを初めて利用しました。 唯一、主要道路からの看板が大きければ良かった以外は大変満足しています。 看板は今後改善されるそうです。 スタッフは大変親切で、また利用したくなりました。宿泊客の外国の方との日本語と英語が混じった楽しい会話や日本の方との様々な分野の会話は、シングルで泊まって一人で過ごすことよりも10倍楽しかったです。同じ経営者のレストランのシェフとの会話はとても楽しく、店の森のような雰囲気や朝食の内容も良く、今度は夜もそこで食べようかなと思っています。比叡山方面の鴨川上流の高野川が近く、川沿いを歩く歩道が整備され、大変気持ち良い散策ができます。大変すばらしい府立植物園にも近いです。 シェフは、もとサーファーで、海外をバックパッカーされた経験がふんだんに活かされ、仕事で大変重要なノートパソコンやデータもしっかりと守られ、かつWifiもあって便利。コストパフォーマンス、セキュリティー、スタッフ、日本と外国の方との会話等大変すぐれ大満足でした。でも、こんな事を書いてお客さんが増えて自分が泊まれなくなると本当に困るのですが、、、
• どらみ (8/5): 修学院離宮に近い宿 - 今回はなぜか宿のスタッフ、同宿者との接触がほとんどなくちょっと寂しい滞在でした！ 部屋の掃除などは十分にされており快適だったと思います。 2階での朝ごはんも美味しくいただきました。
• Peter (10/5): Refreshing Stay - Lund House staff was hospitable and welcoming. We lived our stay here. It was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed talking with the other guests. Tons of great food and ramen shops in the area. It was great to get out of central kyoto and enjoy the mountains close by.

• michiyo (10/5): Close to mass transit - I found this hotel just a few weeks before my trip. It's super affordable and more than worth the money I paid. You can get to know other travelers in the morning and at night after you have gone to do some sightseeing and compare notes with others. The staff are very helpful in getting you where you want! Perfect place and the breakfast was outstanding! You won't regret it! There are plenty of good cheap places to eat as well! Enjoy Kyoto!
• Daniel (10/5): Cute cabin-themed hostel in Kyoto - My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at Lund House while we were exploring Kyoto for 3 days. Our previous hostels in Japan were rather mediocre, so when we got into Lund we were pleasantly surprised to see how accommodating the place was. There are two rooms for bunk beds, each with 2 bunks. The owner allowed us to choose which room and bunks we wanted, which was very nice, since we wanted our beds near each other. There are lockers for your belongings, but I didn't feel any danger of my possessions being stolen there. There are 2 showers, one of which also includes a bathtub which one can bathe in for a small fee. There is also a 2-in-1 washer and dryer that can be used for 300 yen. The coolest part of this place was that the 2nd floor had a bar there! They serve food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. All the staff were extremely friendly and good at English. I would highly recommend staying at Lund for people visiting Kyoto.
• melanie (10/5): Really cute hostel - I loved Lund House! It was a really cute little hostel. The lady who was running it when we arrived was really sweet, showed us around and offered us a dip dye activity they were running. The beds are super comfy with a curtain for privacy. There are also lockers to keep your stuff safe. Well equip kitchen and bathrooms/showers.
• Leah (10/5): Fabulous hostel! - We had a great experience staying at this hostel! Mai greeted us with such enthusiasm and had answers to all of our questions. It was pretty straightforward in finding it and is located on a great street full of restaurants that won't cost an arm and a leg, like the rest of Kyoto! A beautiful neighborhood too. We were very pleased.
• Veronika (10/5): Lovely and stylish hostel - Lovely hostel that has only been running for a couple of months. Everyone from the staff was super sweet, welcoming and very helpful (even helped us booking a very cheap nightbus to Tokyo online). The female dorm os very cosy and the beds are sooo comfortable. The whole hostel is very stylish and the design makes you feel like home. Even though it seems to be a bit far from the main city district, it is easy to catch a bus to the city. You can also enjoy a very nice walk along the creek to the Path of Philosophy. The change to the touristy area was very nice. Good ramen places and lively bakeries are also to be found in the neighbourhood.
