• Kathy (10/5): - The property was very well groomed, freshly cut grass, neat driveway and office. The bathroom area reflected care taken with towels, sink/ tub fixtures. It was great to have a small frig, microwave, coffee/tea making appliances. Table, chairs, bed and dresser are very tasteful too. Everything that you might need has been provided. The breakfast area by the office is cottage chic. There were several delicious breakfast choices. Use of free kayaks, paddles, life jackets are available at the office for use on their lake. Great stay!

• Michael L (10/5): Great stay at a fantastic location for day trips. - It was a great place to stay on our 4-day trip to the Parrsboro area. The service and food were excellent and the owners made us feel very welcome. They have put a lot of effort into renovations and it shows. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others.
• Alison (8/5): - My nine year old daughter and I spent a three day weekend at The Sunshine Inn. Laura, the owner, was accommodating regarding our late check in allowing us the opportunity to attend a family function with the peace of mind that we would be able to access our room after hours that night. Laura made us feel at home throughout our three night stay. She adds little touches and we felt comfortable and relaxed for the entirety of our trip. The only thing I can say I was disappointed with was I accidentally booked the room for two adults, but there was a rate for children under 12. I spoke with Laura on the phone prior to our arrival and explained my mistake. She assured me she would make the adjustment to the booking prior to charging my credit card. However when we arrived (we were earlier than expected and the office was still open) I reminded Laura of our conversation re: adjustment. At this point Laura told me that the room was priced for two people, regardless of age and proceeded to charge me for two adults. My daughter is 9, she’s big for her age but I felt that the reason I was overcharged was due to an assumption or judgment that my daughter was older because of her physical size. My daughter is self conscious of her size and was impacted by this incident. I highly recommend The Sunshine Inn and can’t speak highly enough of the breakfast included which is not unlike what you would expect from a five star restaurant. Affordable and comfortable rooms and cabins.

• Anne (10/5): Very clean and cozy!!! - My friend and I were very pleased with our room. Eveything was very clean and cozy. There were lots of towels and faceclothes. A small fridge,microwave, coffee machine and kettle and comfortable clean queen size beds. A cooked breafast of coffee, blueberry pancakes with real maple syrup and bacon. Yummy and our waiter was fast and friendly. Check in and check out were very easy. Thank you!

• Lionel (10/5): Belle découverte! - Lorsque j'ai réservé je ne recherchais qu'un endroit pour dormir entre deux destinations. Quelle belle destination! C'est la preuve d'un couple qui a la vocation et qui aime les gens. Il y avait tout plein de petits détails qui faisaient en sorte qu'on se sentait les bienvenus. Voir les photo, dont celle du message de bienvenue. Ils ont préparé un cahier avec tout plein d'informations sur les attraction du coin et le menu pour le déjeuner sublime. Déjeuner à l'assiette avec vrai sirop d'érable qu'ils vendent également pour ceux qui veulent en rapporter: crèpes au chocolat ou bleuets, oeufs, céréales, gruau... Je recommande fortement à tous.

Breakfast was very good and with gluten free options it was perfect for my daughter. Lovely shirt walk down to a lake and the girla had a nice swim and enjoyed the raft. Definitely would stay there again

Super friendly owners. Dining room spotless and great choices for breakfasts and well prepared food. Grounds were well kept and very appealing to the eye. Everything well done by the owners and our stay was delightful.

• Daniel (8/5): Nice Lake - There is a small lake on the property that can be reached after a short walk in the forest. There is a canoe and a row boat in very good condition that can be borrowed for free with your stay. You get the life vest and paddles at the front desk. There is also a floating platform away from shore if you want to go swimming and sunbath. Beds are a bit hard to my liking. Excellent breakfasts served in the dinning room and starts at 7:00 am.
