Guest Reviews
- Amy (3/5): -
- Knowles (3/5): Poor -
- Daria (5/5): Passable - Located a bit far away from the village on a very steep hill. The view is great. The personnel is friendly but doesn't speak English. You can't pay by card. No hot water, the sink was broken and all the water was going directly to the floor. No waste bien in the room and the towels were dirty. Bedsheets were ok though. - Armen (1/5): No water in bathroom, no WiFi, AC not working properly. Don’t recommend to stay in this hotel. -
- Iain (1/5): The staff are non existent and there is not really a reception. The rooms we had booked did not even have bedding. The b - Honestly, nothing at all. This is not really a hotel. It is some poorly designed rooms that are as equally poorly maintained, on the site of a hill outside of Labuan Bajo. No facilities. Bathrooms are a disgrace. It reminds me of budget backpacking in Thailand in the 1990s with none of the charm.
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- López (9/5): Superb - Near to airport Bathroom
- Ben (5/5): Passable -
- Javi (8/5): If you are travelling on a budget, get this luxury one instead in the main street - Room and toilet very clean and súper new. Great view from the terrace. And it is not cheap but all prices in Labuan Bajo are much highest than Indonesia and it is 800 m away from main street and 800m away from gate at the airport Staff don't speak english, they are in practise. We saw them in our way to our room throwing trash into the nature ,still in hotel área. This is cultural but so easy to improve. The news room are on the top top of a hill and you must be fit to arrive...Internet ONLy working in reception área.
- Adhi (7/5): Good - It would be better if there was hot shower and good wifi Too steep but the view was superb.
- Eve (1/5): Deceiving - Very Dirty
Noisy
Not convenient
Staff not useful
It’s a scam
- Christian (2/5): Should not be called a hotel. - I'm struggling to think of something I liked. A couple of the housekeepers seemed genuinely sweet and friendly, and one of the guys did make an effort with his English and to make me feel welcome. What I didn't like is a much longer list. One of the boys working in the 'reception' was terrible at his job. I don't mind him not being able to speak English, but he made zero effort to even communicate anything to me. The whole check in process was a nightmare.
It's far too casual an environment, it doesn't feel like anyone actually works there.
The room itself needs so much work doing to it. It's rundown and just not a pleasant place. It's a bed, so yeah you can sleep. The AC's drip pipe went directly into the bathroom to drip onto the floor - genius. The pipes for the toilet were leaking. The sink's faucet just sprayed water in every direction. The bed is like cardboard. There is absolutely zero information in the room, no brochures, maps, local tips, etc.
No WiFi (in case anyone was wondering).
Just an extremely basic, rundown place with very casual staff.
Would not recommend this place to anyone.
- Luciane (7/5): Staff very kind. - The room we stayed didn't seem like the picture advertised The bedroom was too tight
- Boris (7/5): Good - Very nice view and friendly staff There where several items missing in the room like shower gel and hot water, but these where all corrected by the staff on request.
- Annabelle (8/5): Very good -
- Hui (1/5): Bad -
- Petr (9/5): Superb -
- Sinje (2/5): Run-down complex - The staff is very kind and tries to help with everything they can. We stayed three nights at the Hotel.
We would not recommend it.
As in many other places around, there it seems there is child’s labour involved. Meaning four boys who should rather attend school hanging around all day and night trying to make our stay as good as possible while they were not properly trained to do so and speak very little English.
The owner or manager only showed up at our arrival to manage our one day boat trip.
The rooms are quite nice and clean except the bathroom inventory is too old and you need to be lucky that everything like toilet flush is working properly or at all.
Air con and everything else is dripping on the bathroom floor at all times.
On that conditions the price is still too high which is sad because it could be a quite nice hotel near the city center of Labuan Bajo with some investment.
- Adriana (8/5): the staff is kind - the staff is kind, they do have shuttle from and to the airport so that’s a nice gesture for 25$ a night there’s better in Indonesia
- Dian (1/5): It was a scam ! We did not stay at all at they place, we have already paid full price but we left and find another hotel - Nothing it was dirty and it was not ready to be use !
- Teresa (6/5): Improvement needed - Very nice staff, very kind and friendly, free pick up from the airport I really hate leaving bad reviews, especially when staff was so nice and sweet, but I had to leave the hotel after one night...
I understand that Labuan Bajo has some issues with internet connection, but if WiFi not working,it shouldn't be advertised as "WiFi in all areas" , as some people also have to work, and rely on working WiFi ( I have my Indonesian data, but it didn't work either)
Bathroom had leaking sink and open toilet , I think these issues could be easily fixed by any handyman...
There was a weird stain on my pillowcase ( don't even want to know what it was... )
No bin was provided,so impossible to bin the toilet paper ( as it shouldn't be flushed down the toilet in Indonesia)
- Skiph (7/5): Good - The Wi-Fi wasn’t working in the room..😳
- Gregor (8/5): recommendable - friendly staff, good price quality ration the bathroom is a bit antiquated, but nothing surprising for that price
- Yu (7/5): Good - Staffs were friendly and kind.
