- Marielen (9/5): Sea Cottage Heaven. - The cottage was easy to find. Welcome by the owner and shown into the cottage. It had everything you desired plus a lovely view over to the mountains. Bed was very comfortable, the closet well equipped with coat hangers. A hair dryer and plugs for use for phones and hairdryer. Books on the shelf in the lounge. Comfortable couch and chair. What more could you wish for? Shower over the bath. We are both elderly and the prospect of clambering over the bath to shower was daunting.

Hosts were there to help, but gave you your privacy. Good water pressure and hot water. Sofa could have an extra seat padding. Just a suggestion.

- Kevin (10/5): Our stay in the Cape was enhanced by having a tranquil self-catering base to operate from. - Many thanks for the use of the Sea Cottage. It was spacious and clean on arrival and was a pleasant base away from home. Contingency has been made to help alleviate the heavy power loadshedding experienced during our stay, which meant that we always had access to internet and lighting. We were surrounded by beautiful mountain views and the ocean was also visible from our accommodation. We were very central to most attractions while having the peace and quiet of upmarket Hout Bay to return to. The kitchen was well equipped and we prepared our own meals on more than one occasion, even making use of the braai facilities available to guests twice. Although Bridget offered the use of her washing facilities it would be better if the place had its own washing machine for guests staying for a week or longer.
