• Susanne (9/5): Angenehme Lodge am Wasser - Sehr schöne und angenehme Unterkunft direkt an einem See, ideal gelegen zwischen Hazyview und Sabie. Unser Zimmer mit Seeblick, großem Bad und großzügiger Terrasse direkt am Wasser war sehr ansprechend eingerichtet mit Kühlschrank und Möglichkeit zur Tee-/Kaffeezubereitung. Das Frühstück und Abendessen a la carte auf dem See-Deck war eine zusätzliche Besonderheit dieser Lodge. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die Zufahrt ist sehr gut auf Asphalt, Parkplätze sind großzügig und überdacht vorhanden. Alles in allem eine Lodge zum Wohlfühlen.
• Nthabiseng (9/5): A lovely lakeside getaway - The rooms were spacious and the enclosed balcony was lovely. The restaurant and bar area were wonderful. Close to major shops and Kruger gates. The bathroom was a little dated, toilet seat off one of the hinges but other than that all wonderful.

Just has a issue with one order and it was the rump steak that was abit chewy. Ordered the fillet the mext day and it was superb.

The accommodation was beautiful, with clean rooms and breathtaking views. The food was excellent, and the manager was very attentive. Mention spécial pour Glen qui nous a fourni un service au restaurant mais vraiment exceptionnel à notre goût, le cadre merveilleux, un bonheur de pouvoir dîner sur ce lac en amoureux, la chambre est très grande et excursions safaris parfaitement organisées par l'hôtel. Ils ont des cuistots au dessus de la moyenne, leur plat de crevettes est vraiment incroyable en terme d'assaisonnement, en tout cas n'hésitez pas !

Die Inhaber und das Personal waren sehr freundlich und herzlich. Unser Zimmer war sehr groß, und wir haben sogar ein kostenloses Upgrade bekommen. Besonders einzigartig ist die Lage direkt am See — die Aussicht und die Ruhe dort sind einfach wunderschön.

El sitio es perfecto para una noche, llegar temprano, aprovechar la habitación y las instalaciones, en definitiva una velada romántica. Sin mosquiteras ni en cama ni en terraza. La mesa de la terraza no tenía cristal por lo que se caían las cosas por los boquetes. La ubicación está a más de media hora de la puerta de Kruguer. Éramos los únicos hospedados y apareció el dueño con una niña y ni nos saludo estando en frente. Cuando llegamos de la excursión la piscina no estaba preparada, las sombrillas sin abrir, la ducha no funcionaba, las hamacas sucias. El restaurante no es acorde al hotel. En el desayuno pedimos una tortilla y nos dijeron que no era posible.

Отдых получился действительно замечательным, уехали с массой положительных эмоций. С удовольствием вернёмся сюда снова! Всё было прекрасно!

The staff is excellent, great personalities and care. The chicken livers off the menu were yummy. The WiFi works. We got offered complimentary bottle of wine at dinner. The Manager was very combative at check-in highlighting (with a literal highlighter) all the rules and fines - his focus was on the punitive measures in place, he did not share what is available for the guests to unwind and enjoy. I believe this was a result of stereotypical profiling of our group. His behaviour did however improve as the night progressed at dinner. The beds in the room are small, queen beds or larger would elevate the room experience.

De ramen stonden open toen we de kamer kregen dus dan is het logisch dat je veel onnodige gasten krijgt. We waren er met kerst en het was een beetje stillig dat hadden we niet verwacht.

From the very beginning, he was waiting for us and made sure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. He went the extra mile by arranging a wide range of truly unforgettable safari experiences, as well as a spa day in one of the most amazing locations — everything was perfectly organized. The lodge itself was outstanding. It was very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, the surroundings were absolutely stunning, and the atmosphere was incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The food was incredible — every meal was delicious and thoughtfully prepared. One detail that really touched us was the care shown on the day of our safari. The hotel was waiting for us at 5:00 am with a ready-made breakfast to take with us on the safari. It was such a thoughtful gesture and made us feel truly looked after. Everything about our stay was perfect. I highly recommend Bambuu Lakeside Lodge and would love to come back again in the future.

• Priscilla (9/5): Een oase van rust en uitermate vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel - Ligging aan een prachtig klein meer. De ruime kamers zijn heel mooi ingericht en praktisch voorzien van voldoende kasten. Het avondeten is lekker maar doorsnee keuze mogelijkheden.
