• Lea Ann (9/5): Modern accomdations in an old town - While the building might be old, the inside was very modern and comfortable. The pillows were great. There is a separate entrance to the lodging area so you dont need to go through the restaurant every time. Their restaurant and service is closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. We were reminded that departure on Tuesday was by 10 as they were closed from then until Thursday. While we did not eat in their dining room, it was full of diners and it smelled wonderful. Breakfast was good and artfully arranged. Temporary parking was available for bag drop off immediately in front of the restaurant by the fountain. We arrived late on a Sunday but time for a stroll through their beautiful town, but much of the town was closed for Monday. They recommended the hike to the three castles and the abbey, which was very cool to do, roaming around the ruins without a guide needed. The 4 mile hike distance (estimates 2.5 hours, we took over 4 while exploring!) was nothing, but the ascent was more than our hikes usually include! Gorgeous views from the top! Everything was good. There was no parking provided by the hotel, but they recommended white lined parking spots two blocks away behind the church. 6 spots, and there was one available when we needed to park. Not bad, but not immediately at the hotel. Most parking in the old town area was 2 hour limit 9AM-7PM. Our rental car had a blue plastic clock with hands to set to your end time and place on the dash. It was the first time we had seen this used. Our reception desk person told us how to use it!
• Michael and Chaya (10/5): Wonderful boutique hotel and restaurant - Ribeauvillé's first choice - Mouton is a wonderful boutique hotel. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in a beautiful old building that has been tastefully renovated, making it both charming and very comfortable. It is situated right in the lovely center of Ribeauvillé. The hotel also has an excellent restaurant, which we warmly recommend!

Zeer goed restaurant met een wijnkaart die je meestal in sterrenrestaurants tegenkomt. Goed ontbijt met lekker vers brood. Vriendelijke eigenaren die meerdere talen speken. Top! Niets

• Darrell (8/5): Overall it was a lovely experience. - Location was excellent. The hotel is located near all the shops and restaurants and everything is within a few minutes of walking distance. Breakfast was very good and the front desk hostess was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant decor was lovely and the room had a nice view. The male host during dinner was a bit cold and condescending. It appeared that the jets in the hot tub needed to be cleaned out because when we used the tub, there was debris and hair that came out. It would also be nice to have hair conditioner included with the hair gel. A fire alarm went off at 10:30pm and rang for five minutes. The hostess explained that when the trash cans were being cleaned outside, it set off the alarm.

Personal sa att den fungerade, det gjorde den inte! 35 grader ute och de lämnade fönster utan gardiner för, i ett stekande solläge hela dagen innan vi kom! Vi fick sova med alla fönster på vid gavel…

• Pamela (9/5): - Das Hotel ist super gelegen, ist wunderschön eingerichtet und ein echtes Juwel. Als wir ankamen waren die Zimmer etwas zu kühl. Wir konnten jedoch in kurzer Zeit aufheizen. Das Abendessen im Hotel Restaurant hat uns nicht so geschmeckt. Es war zwar sehr schön angerichtet, aber im Geschack nicht so unserer.

• Christine (7/5): Beautiful village, beautiful hotel, very historic - The hotel is beautiful and very clean. Mr and Mrs Lehmann are excellent hosts. Staff is also very polite and helpful. Dinner and breakfast ware very disappointing. Filet was burnt to a cinder, frites very pale, undercooked and cold. Sauce Bearnaise, - very strange taste. Scrambled eggs at breakfast, very wierd consistency with a strange taste. Hotel can be highly recommended but they are, unfortunatey, let down by the kitchen. Such a shame
• Thomas (9/5): Toller Aufenthalt im hübschen elsässischen Ribeauvillé. - Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und komfortabel. Sogar für unseren kleinen Hund wurde mit Napf, Schlafkissen und Leckerli gesorgt. Die Lage war super für einen gemütlichen Spaziergang durch das beschauliche Ribeauvillé. Gleich "nebenan" die feine Winzerei von Jean Sipp. Das hauseigene Restaurant war sehr lecker. Olaf war sehr gechillt. Alles fein.

• Susan (9/5): A very comfortable hotel in a beautifully decorated, characterful ancient building. - The location of the hotel in a central but quiet square in Ribeauville is excellent. Although the hotel has no parking facility it was easy to find free parking spaces within a few minutes' walk. Our room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. We did not try the hotel restaurant but the breakfast was extremely good with a wide choice. A bit expensive.

The rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. Highly recommended!!

• Bernhard (7/5): - Schöne Zimmer mit Sicht auf Platz mit Brunnen. Ruhige Lage, sehr gutes Nachtessen. Es gibt ein Zimmer, dessen Fenster direkt gegen eine nahe Wand (1m entfernt) gehen. Dort gibt es kaum Tageslicht, fühlt sich an wie ein Zimmer ohne Fenster.

If you are familiar with the area and local customs, signage, and open/ closed times for restaurants you will be fine. If you are looking for guidance and hospitality, look elsewhere.

• Birgit (8/5): Wel prima, maar ja, die sluitingsdagen - De renovatie, het was prachtig gerenoveerd, airco, mooie badkamer, breed 2-persoonsbed Er was geen lift en op dinsdag én woensdag is het hotel gesloten, ontbijt voor de hotelgasten was wel geregeld (uitstekend ontbijt) maar wel raar en ook onhandig, zeker midden in de zomer
