Guest Reviews
- James (10/5): - Yes great place to stay
- venakta (2/5): - 106-110 all rooms are dirty and filled with dangerous bugs. As soon as I open the door the bunch of insects fell on my head and when I complain the staff they are very arrogant and said no room change in a rude way. I left the hotel without staying with this ass hole attitude staff
- Jennifer (4/5): - The room smelled like no one had been in it for a long time. Bathtub moldy, tiles cracked are faucet. INFESTED WITH SPIDERS!!!! A spider fell in my eye while I was laying down. Cobwebs in all of the corners.
- mike (6/5): - ok hard to park
- Wilson (2/5): - Place was terrible girlfriend got ate up by bedbugs terrible
- Christin (2/5): - I cannot understand how this property can stay open legally?? I have had to stay here over the years since there is limited lodging in the area and Lewiston was packed with visitors this weekend. There were no other options. This place was the only option (at $150 a night!!) and this was the worst stay so far!!
None of the lights in the room worked. For the whole 2 days I was there. I asked for new lightbulbs and they handed them through the door to me and then the lights still didn’t work. Breaker issue?? No TV remote available. But the best part…
It was obvious the shower had not been cleaned. Still had leftover soap and scum from previous guests in the stall. The shower knob kept falling off during the shower & the water would swing between scalding hot and then freezing cold, without even adjusting it.
The room floor was filthy…crumbs and dirt…used plastic silverware was on the room floor with dried food residue on it & crumbs everywhere. The towels and sheets stunk.
And then right at checkout time the staff tried busting into my room while I was still inside…no knock or anything. Good thing the chain was on the door!
I didn’t bother complaining in person because I’ve stayed here before and I know they just don’t care. But instead I decided to warn you all from staying in this overpriced dilapidated dirty slum.
Lewiston REALLY needs more options of where to stay since it’s a great area!! This motel needs extreme renovation!! It’s poverty level quality
- Faraz (4/5): - A strong odor when you enter the building. Would not allow check in after 11 PM and no service is available until 11 AM.
- Thomas (8/5): - Property was easily accessible to a venue that I was visiting.
- Judy (8/5): - I didNOT appreciate a bit that the lock on my door DID NOT work; therefore anyone could have walked right in.
- Matthew (2/5): - I booked the room at approximately 1115 pm. I arrived 30 minutes after and the Aartpark Hotel Inn was locked up with a sign saying late arrivals oay for the night. When I called to explain above, I was told rather abruptly there are no refunds for late bookings because they are considered late arrivals. I highly recommend not staying here after such an experience.
- Diana (2/5): - TERRIBLE. Do not stay at this property, pay a little extra and go somewhere else. The location was in a dodgy area. The service was very bad. The property is old. I will never come back.
- Syed Muhammad Hassan (2/5): - Would say that it was the worst decision of my life to reserve for this hotel. Never ever stay in this hotel especially if you are with family. Spend 30-40 bucks extra and you will have a good experience in another hotel. The tea maker had a mold in its pot. This shows the cleanliness standards of the hotel. The room smells like it has mold in carpet. The worst part is the reception staff. He was totally unprofessional.
- Sourabh (8/5): - Good
- Ethan (8/5): - Very close to Art Park for concerts, no breakfast but does have an ice machine, I would stay again but hopefully ag a cheaper rate, (paid $90)
- Anil (2/5): - The worst hotel I have ever stayed. It deserves negative rating. Not even zero.
- Paul (6/5): - A place to lay your head.
But I wouldn’t bring my wife there!
- Clifford (4/5): - The staff was ok but not exceptional. Room was poor. Bathroom was horrendous. Bath faucet was barely hanging in the wall.
- Niall (10/5): - Friendly staff
- Cassandra (2/5): - I stayed here for my graduation. As I was graduating at the Aartpark venue, in which this Inn was the perfect location as it was so close.
However.. this was the WORST hotel/Inn I ever stayed at. When my family and I came, we had to ring the bell multiple times. After about 3-5 mins someone came down the stairs in their bare feet and gave us our key to our room.
- There was a lot of stairs, so my poor grandma wasn’t able to make it up
- The rooms smelt like someone was smoking a cigarette in bed
- You couldn’t open the windows
- The Air condition/Fan was dusty and smelt like smoke and had me suffocating
- The bedsheets had stains on it
- The fridge wasn’t cold, and had balls of hair in it. It looked like it hasn’t been cleaned for months
-The towels in the washroom were dirty and looked used
- There was blood on the mirror
-The lights didn’t work
-There were dead bugs everywhere
- There was hair attached to everything
This place was disgustingly atrocious !!!
My family came up in the room with us so they could get ready for my graduation, as we were coming from far. They couldn’t stand the smoke and smell, so they changed and went outside for a while until we were ready. My boyfriend and I were supposed to stay 2 nights, but we couldn’t stand everything there. We woke up early the next morning and left right away. Told them we’re leaving early, and cut. I never got refunded back for the 2nd night we didn’t stay, but whatever. I rather have left and stayed somewhere else
- Robert (8/5): - Our stay was great -ideal location for the events we attended -check in was quick -room had everything we needed
- Amala (2/5): - Looks can be deceiving. The photos on the website painted a much different picture than what we actually experienced. The rooms had a strong odor, the bathrooms were filthy, and both the toilets and bathtubs were clogged. It was one of the worst stays we've ever had. To make matters worse, despite what was advertised, there was no breakfast provided. I booked through Expedia, but unfortunately, this hotel turned out to be a regrettable choice.
- Rose (4/5): - The staff were friendly to me when we checked it. I heard the attendant yell that there is no breakfast and checkout is a 11 A.M. The room was dirty. I would not sleep under the covers because the box that the mattress was resting on was filthy with a black smug on it. The shower was dirty and there were no wash cloths only towels. The room smelled musty. There was no elevator. Being disabled, the staircase was difficult. There was only a railing on the lower half. At one time, there was a staff member walking up the stairs behind us and did not ask to help us even though we were truggling. Overall a terrible experience. WIll not go there again.
- Keren (4/5): - Location not convenient, very old, smelly corridor, only four towels for five people and wouldn't give us another. No soap and shampoo.
- Sheila (4/5): - It was an ok stay for a concert. The room smelled musty and the toilet backflowed upon first use. The bathroom was not clean and the lights did not work. The beds were ok and comfortable. I wouldn't recommend this place but it would do in a pinch but almost anywhere else would be better.
- Caleb (2/5): - First picture on Expedia listing was continental breakfast, but when I arrive, there was sign saying no breakfast available in front desk person said they had not updated the website yet.
- james (2/5): Don't do it!! - The room smelled like smoke. The desk clerk offered to spray the room with Fabreeze. The bathroom floor was filthy. I mopped it with a towel. The toilet base was filthy. I washed it with handiwhipes. We finally decided this Hotel was not properly maintained. When we asked the front desk guy about canceling he said he couldn't do that. When i asked for the owners contact information i was told, he couldn't give that out. He doesn't talk to anybody. When i asked for his first name he said, I'm not allowed to give that out. This place is disappointing. The ceiling had water leaks. The carpets where filthy. I realize it's an inexpensive motel, but thats no excuse for not being clean and maintained.
- Claudina (2/5): - Unprofessional front service. The bathroom was disgusting, dirty and smelled horrible.
- Verified traveler (2/5): DO NOT BOOK HERE! - This hotel is dirty, smelly, had a hole in the wall by the tub and so bad we didnt even stay. We requested a different room to see if that would be better but according to desk there weren't any. He said that they could use an ionizer and some spray to make it better. We didn't agree to them masking the smell and desided not to stay. In the photos of this hotel there are pictures of a nice breakfast buffet- this has NOT been available since COVID stated the desk worker. Total misrepresentation! Seriously don't book a room here its really that bad!
- Mike (6/5): - It was adequate
- Sara (10/5): - The Art park hotel motel was great.I'm here in business and they made it more like a vacation.
- Sharon (4/5): - Location was great - comfortable bed - NO WATER in shower and no wash cloths
- Kenneth (10/5): - Great stay
- Digbijaya (8/5): - Good for one night
- Fejal (6/5): - No breakfast even though it shows on the website? Beds were pretty comfy though.
- Tamara (4/5): - The bathroom didn’t look like it was cleaned at all. The toilet had urine on the back of it, mildew inside the toilet bowl, and the shower was grungy.
The bedspreads could use washing.
- Emely (8/5): - It was a great place for an overnight stay. The beds were comfy and the room was clean. A/C was great!
- Donna (6/5): - Are AC unit was very loud. The room had a weird smell to it. Front desk you had to call if ypu wanted anyone. Our bathroom door didn't shut very well. The bed is very uncomfortable and room is small. The town is something else you can walk to anything you wanted lots of shops and restaurants to choose from. Only a 15 min drive down to Niagara falls!! People from this town our very nice and social.
- Ashley Rae (6/5): Centrally-located motel room without breakfast - Rooms had tastefully updated interiors, but our end room was not entirely clean (e.g. hair and dirt in corners of bathroom, visible stains on bedspread, etc.) Also, the office manager was not friendly upon check-in and provided very poor answers and suggestions, including to such easy questions as, "Where can we park?" Lastly, the "hotel" did not provide breakfast as advertised everywhere online, particularly at the time of booking. Overall, the motel provided a well-priced, centrally-located room for a post-concert overnight.
- Maria N. (8/5): - Spend some time at Beautiful Artpark
- Jamie (10/5): - Came for a concert @Aartpark, very walkable. Coffee shop across the street, restaurant practically next door. East walk to the venue. Will definitely stay again!
- Debra (6/5): - Breakfast was not available during the stay which should have been mentioned ahead of time, and also compensated for the lack of an amenity that was advertised
- Logan hussain (2/5): - Never rent this place, Staff are absolutely ridiculous.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - Bad.
- BRUCE (8/5): - Nice location.
We had to ask for washcloths. The television did not work.
- Jeyasingh (2/5): - Too dirty, and musty smelling, the rooms had cob webs next to the beds that was not cleaned.
- ABINAS (8/5): - We stayed for a night. Experience was good.
- Agnes (2/5): - I can't say the good thing about this property. The room we got had a broken shower, then we were moved to another room with broken A/C, not working fridge and the one we got was with mold inside. At the end the coffee maker had still coffee in it, covered completely in mold.
- Carl (6/5): - Would stay there again.
- The wonders (6/5): - It can be a good choice for just one night
- Carmen (6/5): - Olor de las habitaciones no agradable y la limpieza no la adecuada.
- Lawrence (10/5): - A1
- Catherine (2/5): Disappointed - The room was dirty. The tub and fridge had filth all over and in them. The bed had stains on it. I would not recommend this place to anyone
- Ping (4/5): Ms - The environment is good:there are performance at the lawn near the hotel, and a big supermarket with walking distance. All good but there was no hair dryer in the room and only half roll of toilet paper left that was run out soon. Front desk is always left unattended, you have to call them for everything.
- Scott (6/5): - Toilet was loose. Poor water pressure in shower
- Jennet (6/5): - lobby is filty....no microwave inside the room.bathroom doesnt have shampoo, conditioner, soap.
The good thing they have parking.
- Verified traveler (2/5): - I have one word to summit up “ICK”
- Jerome (4/5): - Fluid stains on the bedding. Carpet not vacuumed, looks dirty. Very dissatisfied.
- Violeta (2/5): Filthy and disgusting!! - This place was filthy. Spiders and spiderwebs everywhere. When we brought it to the staffs attention, they were rude and dismissive. They basically said take it or leave it, but didn't offer a refund. They advertise as having breakfast, but when you arrive there is a sign that says no breakfast. I've stayed in many hotel and motels in many different places, and this was by far the worst. I would never stay here again! Hotels.com should remove this place from their app.
- Michelle (10/5): - We were told ahead of time that our check in could be later as it was a busy long weekend. When we arrived our desired room wasn't ready and we were offered another room but declined due to location...we said we'd wait...they immediately got our room ready in 20 minutes while we enjoyed ourselves in the gazebo. Beautiful property and gardens.
- William (4/5): - Property does not look like pictures, front desk looks untidy. Very limited access to staff and front desk. Calls to front desk are unanswered. Management did mention at check-in that rooms are not cleaned and towels are not supplied. Condition of rugs and doors need repair,
- Stewart (2/5): - Lacked electric outletsp neapr bed. Light switch didnt work, had to physically remove bulb.
- Larry (2/5): - room had oder, and black hairs were in the bed and on the sink
- jonalyn (6/5): - I appreciate that they process the refund, since there is a misunderstanding about the check in. Thank you.
- Timothy (10/5): - This place was quiet and clean. Couldnt really ask for more than that. I'll book here again when i return.
- Cagri (4/5): - The water in the bathroom sink does not flow and the hotel is very noisy
- Darlene (2/5): - Unfortunately, this was one of the worst hotel stays I’ve experienced. I’ve stayed in much nicer places for half the price. It felt like a money grab aimed at travelers unfamiliar with the area.
While the room did have beds to sleep in, there were several major issues: no hot water, barely any water pressure, a tub that didn’t drain, and an overall unpleasant smell in the room. There was no body wash or washcloths provided, and the coffee pot was dirty and unusable. The property itself has potential, but it clearly suffers from a lack of upkeep and attention.
One positive note: although it wasn’t listed on the site that the office closes at 11 p.m., the staff did call ahead and arrange for someone to meet us when we arrived late, which we appreciated.
Overall, this stay was disappointing and not worth the cost.
- Louis (4/5): - It stunk where the buildings rooms were located. There were no towels. The top sheet had food stains on the bed. The coffee pot was broken. The shower was broken. The toilet was loose.!
- Karen (4/5): - Dirty
No water
Loud AC unit
Weird call from front desk about checking in
Awkward checkin and rushing us through signing the CC paper for liability
Dusty
Broken toilet
Damp/wet floor, bed linens due to temp and poor circulation/airflow
Appliances buzzed and something leaked all night
Heard every move upstairs neighbor made with horrible creaking floor
- Kathy (6/5): - Close to everything! Quiet. Bed was very comfortable.
- Matrixnell (8/5): - Clean hotel
- Rebecca (6/5): - Could use some updating and repairs. Okay if you just need a place to stay for the night, but don’t expect many amenities.
- Freddy (10/5): - Excellent
- Joseph (4/5): - Light in sink area did not work. The heater/air conditioner did not work no power light could not turn it on, reception area dingy, person at desk not friendly, no coffee or breakfast. Duct tape holding down carpet between bathroom and bedroom.
The room smelled terribly of mold. Do not recommend this hotel.
- Craig (8/5): - Room was comfortable and clean. Great price and proximity to entertainment and food
- shine (8/5): - This place was a good place to stay in and in budget
- Aftab (2/5): - It’s a scam hotel with zero service zero person available to help. Once you pay you don’t see no one you call them and they bark over the phone and put you away and you feel threatened. Extremely dangerous bevavior and attitude and forced us to leave at 9 am when time was 11 am
- KRUTESH K (8/5): - i books for 2 days, first day we had issue with bathroom slow dranage issue , then staff was rude and at the end they change the room and was in good condition.
- David (2/5): Disgusting - This room was extra dirty, the coffe pot had mold in it the bathroom didn’t have no soap or bags in the garbage can beds had hair in them! Don’t stay here super nasty and it looks like crack heads are running this place!!!
- Larion (10/5): Larionspano - Amazing
- Srikar (4/5): - 1. There is hardly anyone to reach at the property. Even ringing the bell or giving repeated phone call is not helpful.
2. No proper lighting inside the room
3. Some water taps were not proper
Overall, a very poorly maintained hotel. Slightly cheaper, so this may be expected. But this is below par.
- Shelby (2/5): - Didn’t even make it through my stay. Had issues upon arrival. Arrived at 10:30, check in closes at 11.
- Gene (2/5): - Hotel closes their desk at 11pm, what kind of hotel does not have checkin 24/7. Poor poor service. No refunds if you arrive past 11pm and no place to stay.
- Rehan (10/5): - Clean and safe
- Kaniat (6/5): - Filthy garbages and terrible pool hours.
- Cynthia C. (2/5): - Avoid this mess!
This was a huge waste of money. Overpriced, grungy-looking, not enough parking for all guests, no one at the desk for hours & hours--and they don't answer the phone! Broken furniture, dirty carpet.
- Steve (10/5): - Fit our fishing needs
- William (2/5): Poor experience from hotel and hotels.com - The hotel turned us away stating they were closing in 2 days despite being paid. I attempted to contact Hotels.com and was unable to obtain a refund from either the hotel nor have Hotels.com stop process on the payment. I will not utilize this site again due to lack of customer support
- William (2/5): Poor service of hotel and hotels.com - The hotel cancels our reservations while we were in the parking lot citing that they were closing permanently in 2 days. No refund was offered and I can not get a call back from hotels.com for a refund
- Tamara (8/5): - I had no issues. Stayed over between shifts as a travel nurse. Able to sleep. No problems.
- kishan (8/5): - It was good stay
- carlos (4/5): - The fridge didnt work the tv had no remote no hairdrier and no heating control.
- Md Mirajul (10/5): - It was good.
- Sonya (6/5): I got what I paid for I guess. - No conditioner. One bar of soap. One towel each. No one in the office. Shower barely sprayed water. Shower handle was too heavy to be mounted upside down and turned water off itself because of it. Room smelled like old stale cigarettes. Lobby/steps were diagusting. No microwave and no breakfast. This was almost the cheapest place but it was worse than any “cheap” hotel I’ve stayed in. Plus side… no bugs lol
- Yolanda (10/5): Overall a nice experience - The staff were nice and it was quite.
- Maria (2/5): - .
- lisa (2/5): - The shower had black mold. Tub spout was ready to fall off. Could not even shower.
- Verified traveler (4/5): You get what you pay for - No toilet paper, hairs in tub, most electric outlets didn't work, lights above sink out, so couldn't get ready in morning, only a couple channels worked, coffee pot dirty. Luckily Starbucks really close. Location was this places only saving grace. Nice neighborhood, 15 min from Niagra Falls.
- Saqib (2/5): - Dont rely on stars by expedia it was a bad experience.,bed was broken
- Dhana (6/5): - Property location was good and peaceful but rooms should be upgraded. Our room’s bathroom door was almost about to crack and the pipe was damaged too. Bathroom was too cramped otherwise the room was fine
- yongqi (2/5): - they don't return my depot
