- Alexander (10/5): A remarkably well-run hotel. - Everything about the hotel is magnificent: accommodating and cordial stuff, substantial and filling free breakfast, clean swimming pool and a hot tub, thoughtfully designed gym, a prime location to explore the surrounding area. That we had to leave the place after a week of a fabulous vacation.

- michellecH5520BG (10/5): Fantastic place to stay - The hotel is conveniently located to downtown Whitefish and the mountain. What makes the place outstanding is the staff. Everyone is extremely helpful and friendly. Martie at the front desk is amazing and she makes the place five stars. She bakes cookies for the guests each night and is always willing to help with anything that she can. The cleaning staff and Mike who managed the breakfast one of the mornings we were there are also fantastic. Highly recommmed !

The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. . The housekeeping staff did an exceptional job presenting the room. It is very obvious that they take great pride in their performance, and it shows. If I ever venture to this part of Montana again, I will stay at this Hampton Inn. Nothing
- 3bridgesboys (10/5): Excellent Stay!! - We had an awesome visit to the Hampton Inn Whitefish. The rooms were spotless and so quiet! The location was perfect—very close to downtown. The best part of our stay, though, was the staff. Everyone was so kind and helpful. Our teenage son accidentally left his retainer in the room, and before we even realized it, Martie called to let us know and offered to mail it to us. Thank you, Martie and the housekeeping staff! We’re so grateful for your thoughtfulness and wonderful service.

- mikecE8994YR (4/5): Do NOT Recommend - Poor TV - Overall, excellent room and hotel, EXCEPT a major problem with the TV. I was told they put in new TVs several weeks earlier and they are very nice (very large screen). However, the maximum volume is limited to “47”. According to their maintenance person (via the Front Desk), this limit is preset by Hilton and can NOT be changed. (There are no other volume settings visible on the TV, nor on the remote.). Unfortunately, when the heater fan is blowing and a “quiet” movie is on, this volume is simply not loud enough to hear the dialog. I’ve never had this problem at other Hiltons. (I’m a Diamond member and stay at a lot of Hilton hotels.) Because the TV is so important to a hotel experience, I will not longer stay at this hotel. Maybe some day I’ll return (as I’ve been at this hotel multiple times in the past), but not for a very long while.

- RichfromDC (10/5): A good spot in Whitefish - Stayed here during a trip to Glacier. This is a newer Hampton that's also recently been redone. The rooms are nice, but could have more charging ports. It has a saltwater pool that's just big enough to get some real exercise, with a changing room. The location is convenient to fast food and a couple supermarkets (a relatively new/upscale Safeway and regional chain Super 1 that's probably better for bakery and other fresh items than Safeway. The hotel provides a shuttle to Whitefish's downtown (which has a range of restaurants).

- CHICKENPARM41 (8/5): Good Stay in Whitefish - Stayed here for two nights while visiting Glacier N.P. We were all through the Canadian Rockies and this was the most expensive hotel we stayed at. I guess everything in this area is so expensive. $375 a night is pretty pricy. It is 1/2 hour to get to the Glacier N.P. gate. It is close to town and they do provide a shuttle to get to and from Whitefish. As previously stated, this a a very expensive property and it needs to be better for what they are charging. They seem to be short-staffed at the desk. The room was very nice and there was plenty of parking. The room was clean and smelled nice. They were a bit skimpy with the towels and we had to ask for more. The body wash dispenser ran empty after our first night. They need to provide real glasses in the room. They had nice chocolate chip cookies on the first evening, but nothing on the second. Please don't say they ran out, make some more! Breakfast was clean and orderly. There was nothing special about it. The quality wasn't that great. Day 1 was okay, they had egg omelets with cheese, which was good. The bacon, was the thinnest over-cooked bacon I ever had. Day 2 had tasteless scrambled eggs with nasty sausage links. The OJ and Coffee was good. They also have their signature waffle maker. What turned me off was paying such an exorbitant amount of money for an above average property. I believe it needs to be better. The property was nice, and I would stay here again at a more reasonable rate.

- Tom4x2 (10/5): Awesome hotel with the most accommodating and competent staff! - Awesome hotel. Highly recommend. One of the friendliest and most accommodating hotels we’ve ever stayed. We were able to book our train trip to see Glacier, Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks with ease due to the great service and extra attention to detail from their staff. Martie in particular was most helpful to help plan our logistics months in advance. Their shuttle picked us up in the middle of the night as our train from Chicago was running late. And in the morning, their shuttle took us down to Kalispell to pick up our rental car. And after touring the National Parks for a few weeks, Martie coordinated their shuttle to pick us up from the Kalispell airport (about 30 minutes from Whitefish) and bring us back to the Hampton Inn so we could spend the night and catch our return train back to Chicago the next morning. Wow!
- VisitTheWorld102 (10/5): Just a couple blocks from Logan Health AND a GREAT hotel with everythign you might need. - This property is one of the very best in Whitefish. My husband had to have a major surgery at Logan Hospital. It is just a couple blocks from the hospital - which made it super convenient. Not to mention the property itself is super clean and very well maintained. The breakfast was spot on and the coffee perfect - both strong and mild were offered. The staff was attentive, caring and informative. They did a great job!

- Bruce (10/5): - Everything was great from laundry facilities to breakfast. The front desk staff were so helpful even lending us bear spray to use ! The place has been remodeled recently and it is beautiful. The king room was spacious and looks bed having some chairs to use.

- sweetdee79 (10/5): Greatest Hampton inn - This may be the greatest Hampton inn that exists. All the staff were great and the shuttle driver was excellent. The shuttle was available anytime someone in our party needed it. The room was really clean. Highly recommend.
- ChristineAdams (10/5): Beautiful hotel- close to West Entrance Glacier National park - Beautiful hotel in gorgeous Whitefish Montana- front desk Addie was so friendly, helpful and efficient!! What a pleasure she was! My room was huge and spotless- already cooled off. The amenities were awesome. The fresh made free breakfast was plentiful and delicious- coffee was excellent!!! I had left some personal items in the room when I checked out and the hotel called to let me know! Marty phoned and offered to mail my belongings to me but I declined. First hotel that has ever followed up to let me know that I left something in the room- Marty was great to do this on my behalf.

- David (10/5): - From the moment we checked in we were met by an extremely friendly desk clerk. The hotel was quiet, clean and perfect for our needs. It also was a short shuttle ride to town.
- pamgoes (10/5): Highly Recommend! - We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay at this Hampton. We arrived early and were graciously checked in to our room since it was available. Unlike other hotels who charge a fee for early check in, Hampton is happy to welcome you in when the room is ready. Each lady at the front desk greeted us warmly and welcomed us. We booked a king studio which had a mini-kitchen with fridge, microwave, sink. The room was spacious with ample work space, wonderfully comfortable king bed, excellent air conditioning. The bathroom not only had plenty of space for toiletries on either side of the single sink but a shelf ran above the entire length of the counter to add even more space. Excellent water pressure in the shower and a spotless room left us with nothing but compliments for Whitefish Hampton. We had just arrived from several days in Glacier National Park so we were delighted to use the spotless laundry room. Rolls of quarters and laundry soap pods and dryer sheets were available (for a fee) at the front desk. So nice not to have to go spend the day at a laundromat! The included breakfast was as good as most any other ‘included breakfast’ offering and we are definitely fans of the “coffee available all day” and the little snack shop on site. Other amenities available to guest are a well lighted, free parking area, indoor pool and small gym, shuttle service. The location is about a mile out of the town center but there are ample businesses for food shopping,travel supplies and restaurants very nearby. We highly recommend Hampton Inn and Suites Whitefish! Well done!
- ces563 (8/5): I recommend - We were there for three days. It is a clean, bright, well kept, quiet hotel. The room was in tip-top condition. Comfortable bed. The gym was adequate. The breakfast was typical. Not good, but not terrible. You can always have cereal!

- btadams53 (10/5): Excellent hotel - We stayed here four nights during our trip to Glacier National Park. Our studio room was large, spotless and did not show any sign of wear. The hotel staff were very accommodating. The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Whitefish, which has lots of shops and restaurants. The hotel is about 40 minutes from the western entrance of Glacier National Park. The only criticism I have is that the breakfast was subpar. Every morning there was not enough fruit. The egg omelets and the scrambled eggs had little taste and didn’t look right. If we have to be in Whitefish again we will definitely stay here.

The only negative is that the TV was impossible to operate with the crazy system they were using. Reception said they were working on a solution. Other than that the hotel is perfect. The breakfasts each morning were varied and delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

- Safari35601288836 (10/5): Fantastic Stay - My wife and I stayed for three nights as a base for Glacier National Park. I spend 75+ nights a year in Hilton properties and this is one of the best Hampton Inns in the country. The hotel is about nine years old and still feels very fresh and clean. The front desk employees were very friendly and helpful. Mitch drove us into Whitefish every night for dinner in the courtesy van and picked us up promptly when we were finished. I would strongly recommend a stay at this property.
