• Kathleen (10/5): Kathleen from coventry - Everything we needed for s short business stay, especially the Asian Fusion restaurant next door. With 3 of us it is a little cramped, but its only 2 days and we are exhibiting at the Laudholm Festival, so not in the room except to sleep.
• Julie (10/5): - Great to bring a dog but some owners left dog poop in the dog run. It may help if the grass was cut short otherwise a great spot and so dog friendly. Thanks!

• Christina (8/5): - The property was clean, though there was a chemical ordor in the room. The ordor was very pronounced and only dissipated with the windows open. When we requested it be checked the staff person, the housekeeper, was very rude and did nothing.

The dog fee is very reasonable, stayed at other places in the area and they over charge for the pet fee. It did the trick for what we needed. Room was very clean, bed was comfortable. Small refrigerator and microwave. It’s an easy drive to anywhere in the area. I do recommend.

Drakes Island Resort is the most pet friendly resort at we have stayed. Location 3 minutes from the beach! Close enough to all great Wells restaurants and attractions. Great place-Great Stsy.

But the people are very nice and they have a club house room with Pool table and a pool. We did not use because we were only there one night.

And the ac in our room either barely worked or turned the room into a freezer. Otherwise everything about this place was excellent. The staff was friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and well kept and the game room is a nice addition. Would definitely stay here again

• Philip (4/5): Never again!! - First thing we were told was that there was no maid service. Our room was freezing cold when we arrived,upon turning on the thermostat, it became oppressively hot. The room was the smallest “room” I have ever seen, it would have been fine as a closet. The shower was impossible. The only positive I can mention is the room was clean when we arrived.

• Paul (10/5): - We booked on a Friday for a two night stay on Sunday and Monday. Honestly we did not expect much for a last minute booking but what we found was a cute, cozy room. After spending the days we have already decided we want to go back and book a week next year for a cottage for a week. We truly enjoyed the time away and they made us feel right at home. Short walk or close drive to everything we wanted to see and do. I would highly recommend staying here.
