• Ildiko (8/5): Clean, cute, kind people - We had a wonderful stay at this property in Inverness. The place is exceptionally clean, quiet, and has a very warm, family-like atmosphere. The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help, which made us feel truly comfortable throughout our stay. The location is also a big advantage – the train station is just a short 7–8 minute walk away, making it very convenient for travellers. The breakfast was excellent – fresh, tasty, and a great start to the day. What we especially appreciated, and found quite rare during our trip in Scotland, was the flexibility of the hosts: they kindly allowed us to leave our backpacks for a few hours after check-out. This small gesture meant a lot and really reflects their thoughtful and guest-oriented approach. We would wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone visiting Inverness. The only inconvenience was the dining area. Breakfast was prepared in a small kitchen directly next to it, which resulted in a strong smell of fried food (especially eggs) spreading throughout the room. Unfortunately, the smell was so intense that our clothes absorbed it, making them unpleasant to wear, and it was not ideal to put them back into our backpacks either, as everything took on the smell of food. This did not overshadow our overall experience, but improving ventilation or separating the cooking area more effectively would make the stay even more comfortable.

I didn’t know what kind of comforter it is, but it is very warm and comfortable. I’m so glad I chose it, staying there really made my traveling experience in Scotland even better. And they even cooked home made brakfast for us. Nothing

• Terence (9/5): City Break - The location was very central, just a short walk to Inverness City Centre. The host was very friendly and the breakfast was exceptional. A very clean room which we could not fault. Everyone is different concerning the mattress preferences, but we found it hard, especially as I was recovering from a back injury.

• Socorro (8/5): Wonderful - Our host, Willy, was friendly & helpful esp with questions on directions, etc. We booked 2rooms, they were same price but the other room (where my other two friends stayed) was smaller, they said the sink was very small as well as the bed. My other friend & I landed on the family room (lucky us), which was spacious & had a bigger bathroom, which worked well for us. Wish all rooms for double occupancy were like the family room 😄 Otherwise, we felt safe & had a wonderful stay 😍 Would recommend The stairs as we had to haul our heavy luggages up and down.

The breakfast was lovely We knew it was a digital entry. But they said they would have in person check-in from 4 to 6. We arrived a bit past four and there was nobody there. • veronica (10/5): - The Ardentorrie Guest House was a real Scottish gem, with spacious and well-equipped rooms. Willie cooked our breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious. The location was excellent, making it the perfect base for exploring the area.

• MaggieAndRoy (8/5): Well located for central Inverness and the Castle area. Room was good. Breakfast could be better. - The room was large, with an extra bed, and good storage space. Clean. The location was excellent. Quiet, but close to the town centre, and particularly to some of the better restaurants and bars in Inverness. The breakfast was served quickly in a pleasant room, overlooking the Castle. The service was friendly. We came by train, the station being walkable, but there was easy parking in front, which was good as we had a day trip by car. The breakfast was a bit disappointing to us, particularly given the reviews we had read. Porridge was good, but there was only tinned fruit, and the quality of the ingredients for the cooked breakfast and coffee were not that high compared to many other bed and breakfasts and hotels we have stayed in. In the room, was full fat UHT milk cartons. We prefer slimmed or semi-skimmed milk (we had some sachets we had brought ourselves so didn't ask if there was semi). The room got a bit hot - only one window of the two could be opened and then only partially.
