Guest Reviews
- Kunal (8/5): -
- Kylie (1/5): Disappointed - Location Staff unfriendly and unhelpful when we discovered no towel. Rubbish in the room from previous guests and the bed configuration was not what was booked
- Sharleen Murray (8/5): - Bed and pillows were very comfortable Rooms and hallways smelt of old cigarette smoke
- Mukesh (8/5): Queenstown stay for business traveller or a couple. - Very good location. Within walking distance to super market and restaurants. Dedicated parking. Working gadgets in the room. Safe and peaceful area. Balcony. Smooth check in at the counter. Helpful staff. Luggage trolly to self ferry baggage. Only 1 mobile heater shared between 2 bedrooms. Check out time too early at 10am. Only 1 bathroom. Very few power points to plug in devices. WhatsApp based Bot is useless.
- Raewyn (9/5): -
- Micallef (10/5): -
- Anne (7/5): good budget option close to the airport. Supermarket nearby - staff at the counter werent particularly welcoming
- Paula (9/5): Good value. - Good price and modern.
- Malcolm (8/5): All round good value for money. My main complaint was the dirty carpet. - Good location. Very glad to have washer & dryer in the unit. Plenty of space in the room. The view of a car park out my window. The heat pump was temperamental & didn’t work properly.
- Ahsan V (8/5): Nice experience, friendly staff - Friendly and accommodating staff, was able to check in earlier and didn't have to pay for a basement parking spot when complementary ground parking was full as it was off season. Room furniture and ambience could have been better.
- Chrisfield (9/5): -
- Gayle (7/5): - It was close to the airport and had free parking Rooms where not serviced
- Deanne (10/5): very enjoyable - Everything was so handy to the hotel and enjoy the scenery we got a free upgrade
- Lee (4/5): - You can use laundry and dryer in the room it’s comfortable and valuable The front desk was unfriendly
- Dinithi (10/5): -
- Cheryl (6/5): - Staff at front counter. Not helpful at all. Told me to ask someone in the kitchen for directions to the local bus stop.

- paul (6/5): stay was good but the room does need a refresh - accomodation was clean and comfortable
very good location with views arrived around 3.30 and told room was not ready and no idea when this might happen
we had travelled a long day , it was cold and wet so not impressed at all
- Ruoyu (7/5): - 位置,房型符合我的需求 酒店前台服务人员礼貌有待提高
- Cath (3/5): Disappointed - Location was great Staff on front desk miserable and provided nothing but the key to the room. Dryer in the room very very noisy. Also door and vent broken on the dryer. Shampoo in shower fell off wall. No dishwashing liquid to wash 1 glass we used only dishwasher powder. Room was super hot when we arrived. No information provided on how to use the microwave or local restaurant in the area. Not 4 star but 4 Star price.
- Candice (6/5): Pleasant stay - Big and comfortable room, plenty of underground parking spaces (when we were there) Staff weren’t very friendly for such a tourist town and so close to the airport. Seems expensive for what it is so far from the main town centre.
- Damien (8/5): Not up to scratch - Location Old furniture and dacilities
- Hannah (5/5): - Conveniently located near airport and shops Quite a bit of visible mold in shower
- Gaelle (4/5): Convenient location and good amenities, but disappointing service and an uncomfortably cold stay. - Conveniently located just 5 minutes from the airport, making it ideal for early flights. The in-room washing machine and tumble dryer were a great bonus. Beds were clean and comfortable. We communicated with reception via messages during the day, and while the tone was professional, we were reminded upon our 22:00 check-in that it was outside normal hours and no further assistance would be available.
Unfortunately, the entire apartment—including the bathroom and bedrooms—was very cold. The heaters emitted a burnt smell when turned on, so we couldn’t use them and had an uncomfortably cold night with no support available after 22:00.
- Christiane (3/5): - Parking Too far from airport to walk and no airport shuttle, mouldy grouts at shower, only one bedside table lamp…..no evening facilities/restaurant or bar (closed at 19:30)
Way too expensive….
- Bharathesha (4/5): -
- Autumn (10/5): Good stay in Frankton - Location to airport, on site parking, easy check in, cafe in the reception
- Fiona (6/5): -
- Irene (9/5): -
- Lynne (4/5): - Frank's food very good and great staff.
Comfortable bed.
Front desk and cleaning staff were very friendly.
Good garaging. We booked 3 1 bed apartments. Carpets were disgustingly filthy. The entire building is very tired, but an intense scrub and clean would make a world of difference. NOT JUST A LICK AND A PROMISE!!! I think the cleaners are under the pump to do rooms as quickly as possible. Also a lot of maintenance needs attendance.
I don't mind paying top dollar for clean, but this was a rip-off!
- Graham (4/5): -
- Riepma (10/5): -
- Lynne (4/5): -
- Wendy (8/5): -
- Graham (5/5): Ok - Clean and tidy No sport channels
- Emma W (8/5): Decent hotel but needs maintenance - We attended an event in Gibbston Valley, so the location of the hotel between there and Queenstown and near the airport worked out really well for us. The room was spacious and had multiple mirrors, which was great when getting ready for the event. We didn't have a car for the first 2 days of our trip, so having a supermarket and multiple restaurants nearby was very convenient.
Our room did need some maintenance, which was disappointing given how expensive the hotel is. Our room needed maintenance. The kitchen tap leaked. One bedside lamp didn't work, while the other lamp flickered and barely worked. Two bathroom soap dispensers had fallen off the wall, leaving cracked paint/plaster. The shower needs Exit Mould in the corners. We let the front desk staff know and they were very apologetic.
We arrived after reception closed at 8pm and got our key from a lock box. Other guests were not as fortunate as their key was not in the lock box. Reception should be open until 9pm or 10pm, after the last flight arrives for the day.
The internet seems to indicate the hotel has 40 free carparks, but I thought the sign at the front desk said only 4 carparks. We parked next door and it cost $20 for 2 days.
- Andrew Allinson (7/5): -
- Jaki (7/5): -
- Lizzy (8/5): great location, great on site covered parking, clean and warm - View from room and warmth corridors could do with a freshen up - paint and carpet
- alain (10/5): - Rien
- Chris (9/5): - we had every thing we need and it ws close to the airport
- Natthada (9/5): - Location
- MT the RRs (6/5): 3 star at best - Parking was secure. The bed was hard, the pillows were terrible. The room was average. The carpet was stained and horrible. The desk staff couldn't even say thank you or talk at all. The room did not get cleaned in the 3 days we were there. The walls were very badly cleaned and had chunks out of them. The shower was average. Don't believe the pictures on the internet as the room was tiny.
- Grit (5/5): -
- Dani (6/5): A good location for a short stay - Great location, warm Uncomfortable bed and awkward after hours check in process that wasn’t very secure
- Jim (8/5): Functional short stay. - Close to airport. Reasonable price. Comfy bed Walls and carpet were marked. Girl on reception at check-in was quite detached.
- Joselito and Lorina (8/5): -
- Carol (10/5): - Facilities, price, self contained kitchen etc
- Tania (7/5): -
- Niall (8/5): -
- Nicky (1/5): -
- Karina (5/5): - Location Customer service poor, no smiles. Cleaners had cleaning items sprawled across the hallway directly outside the lifts, which you had to walk over.
The rooms are tired with marks on walls and the shower has mould. The dryer sounded like a train coming through your room, unbearable noise.
- Julie (9/5): - Can’t watch tv from bed
- Carol (8/5): -
- Dan (9/5): -
- Caesar (9/5): Nice - Complete None
- Jasmina (6/5): Nicht so begeistert - Gratis Parkgaragenplatz.
- Nanette (10/5): Lovely clean stay, fantastic location and great views from our deck. - Loved the unit , and that we had a washing machine. location was perfect for us we love watching the planes, helicopters and hot air balloon outside on on deck.
- Amphy (8/5): - Balcony with beautiful views of the mountains. It's very close to airport, shops and restaurants and undercover parking. Nothing.
- lynette (7/5): -
- Henri (10/5): Une nuit confortable et reposante - Tout était parfait du check in au check out RAS
- Maria (9/5): Close to airport, clean and comfortable place to stay, affordable - quuck & easy to book the place at the time we urgently needed accommodation. The place is very closr to airport, its clean and we can say the place is well maintain. Having a washing machine & a dryer was a bonus. It was a great stay in ramada None
- Jennifer (9/5): Their receptionist,Tania was very helpful and friendly,it made a huge difference. - Fabulous location, very near to shops and bus stops if neede. Nothing.
- Bishakha Joyeeta (7/5): -
- Suhaas (5/5): - It was close to airport and amenities We didn’t like the smell which was throughout the corridor and lift lobby area of the hotel. It was a strange and bad odour which was a turn off.
- Graeme (7/5): very enjoyable would stay again - Great location bus stop near door shops nearby able to watch planes coming and going at airport without the noise room could have been cleaned more often
- Cheryl (8/5): - The rooms were nice. The onsite cafe/bar was handy. 1. There were mixed messages about arrival time. We arrived by 2pm but had to wait nearly an hour for the key. Another traveller was also held up waiting. 2. We were not told the washing machine was also a dryer. Probably my fault for not noticing but when I asked reception where to hang wet clothes, I was told to use the wall dryer. There was none. I was referred to a downstairs laundry but didn't use it. 3. The lift was not operating on arrival so my husband had to carry our luggage up 2 flights of stairs to our room. We're in our 70s.
- WAYNE (9/5): A oerfect stay whilst we awaited our flight the following day home to Australia. I hope we return and have the opportuni - Excellent and the female receptionist who was working the desk at 2.00pm on Sunday 12/4 when we checked in is a credit to your hotel. Nil
- Kaustubh (6/5): -
- HASSAN (10/5): A wonderful stay! - nice, clean and cosy nothing
- Vivian (8/5): - Lication
View
Cleanliness Noisy drier
Range hood/exhaust fan wasnt working
- Kath (6/5): -
- Jaskaran (7/5): -
- Graham (10/5): Remarkable stay by the Remarkables mountains - Great location if you have a hire car, a little out of the way if you don't. 15 minute drive in to Queenstown, but you get a lot more accomodation for your money staying in the Skiing area (out of the skiing season) than you do in Queenstown itself. Great views from the room too.
- Sunshine54563118575 (8/5): Good value - I was apprehensive about staying here due to some poor reviews but it was good.
Walking distance from airport took 15 minutes
Bus stop outside - buy a Bee card off driver for 5 dollars the load it with another 10 to 20 dollars . 2 dollars 40 per ride.
Apartment has washer, dryer, cooking facilities.
Yes some things are a bit worn but for price it’s good value.
Some reception staff are a bit sullen but lovely French girl who is very politeminutes
- POU U JULIE (7/5): -
- James (5/5): -
- Ujjwal (8/5): Overall good. - Good to stay. Reception was stinking.
- Paul (9/5): Good place to stay. - Location to shops, airport and rental cars.
Good bed. Room advertised as availability from 1400 not available until nearly 1500.
Still want you out by 1000 the next day.
- Justine (1/5): We had a man enter our room during the night. Management did not accept any responsibility or show due concern. - Near shops Unsafe.
- Luzviminda (9/5): - Perfect close to all important amenities Nothing
- Kerren (8/5): - Shower Broke. No venting for the dryer, the room turned into a sauna. We had to go to a commercial laundry as the clothes didn't dry in the dryer.
- Dennis (9/5): A pleasant, comfortable place a bit outside the busy tourist area - The hotel is very comfortable with large rooms and a good restaurant downstairs. The receptionist was tres gentil! It's better to stay in Frankton rather than in busy, noisy Queenstown itself unless you don't have transport. The restaurant was closed early at night. We had to eat at the Holiday Inn nearby.
- Isabella (10/5): -
- Jasmine (10/5): Such a great experience and probably one of the best I’ve had. They’re a perfect little hotel - Very nice room! They utilised the space with everything you need which was great. One very minor thing which isn’t a big deal was the floors could be cleaned a bit more.
- Pam (8/5): Was ok for a night. - Location was good for us The property looks a bit run down, the dining area didn’t look inviting. Also carpet in our room in a terrible state, furnishings etc looking tired.
- Jo Ardley (5/5): Wouldn't stay at a Ramada by Wyndham property again. - Good location and laundry facilities. Small room with an awful smell that seamed to linger long after you leave. No opening windows and no clean air. Shower had black sills inside base. Very dated and not what we expected from the photos and price. Check in online procedure is drawn out and doesn't save you from interigation and second check in at reception. Very unfriendly feel from staff communications before and during stay.
- SERGE (8/5): C’est bien mais moyen - Proche du centre Vieillot
- Richard (10/5): Very happy to stay here again - Location Enjoyed everything
- Nakul Srisamran (10/5): -
- Anthony (1/5): Ramada Suites by Wyndham Queenstown Remarkables Park — Avoid - Nothing went well. My wife and I stayed here February 20–22, 2026, during a three-week trip to New Zealand celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. Out of eleven hotels, this was by far our worst stay — and our most expensive. Check-in was dismissive, with staff more focused on a personal phone than on guests. Our room was filthy: dirty, food-littered, tired, and dilapidated carpeting, smudged and dirty walls, and a washing machine repurposed as a toiletry shelf. The bathroom was a botched conversion with a mismatched false ceiling. Cooking odors from kitchenette units permeated the hallways — we dreaded returning each evening. When we raised these issues, the hotel's General Manager never responded. Wyndham corporate customer service was equally unhelpful, ultimately suggesting we place an international long-distance call ourselves to resolve the matter. That says everything about how this brand values its guests.
