- Jenifer (10/5): Clean, good service - I think people who have stayed here before will want to stay again because the staff provides excellent service, they feel safe, and there are plenty of delicious food options nearby.
- Thomas (10/5): Great value - I really liked this accommodation. It was comfortable, easy to get around, and close to the subway. The only downside was that there weren't enough rooms to meet demand. I couldn't extend my stay because it was fully booked.
- Chava (10/5): I want to come back and stay here again. - Even though it was during a holiday season, the room rates were still cheap. It was clean and convenient. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends.

- Elena (1/5): Not good! - I had an extremely stressful and upsetting experience at this hotel. I arrived in the evening, I’m quite young and new at travelling, and was shocked to discover bedbugs in the room. This is a serious health and hygiene issue that no accommodation should overlook.
What made the situation even worse was the complete lack of help or appropriate response from the hotel staff. They showed no concern and I had to find another hotel, which was incredibly stressful.
Nobody took responsability - nether the hotel or booking.com - for the issue despite this being a clear health and safety issue.
I strongly caution anyone considering staying here. Bedbugs are not just a nuisance, they are a real health risk!!

- Nelson (6/5): A hostel that I love... except my last stay - So let me preface this by saying that I've stayed at On The Bed Hostel probably 10 times over the last 3 years. I love the location, the price is great, the minimalist pod style beds are great but this last stay was the worst I've ever had there. I was in my bed watching a movie on my phone and I kept feeling bites on my skin or getting itchy so at 1 a.m I turned the bed light on and I found 4-5 flea/tick style bugs in my pillowcase and another 5 or so of these bugs in my sheets. I was horrified knowing that they'd been crawling on me all night, and from then on, I couldn't sleep.
This hostel needs to commit to the expense of shutting down for a few days and spraying all the dorm rooms for bugs and getting rid of this problem. A lot of the hostel's negative reviews are from bed bugs, so it needs to be resolved.
- Joshua (10/5): - I stayed in both the hostel area and private room. I suggest the private room but the hostel beds are also nice. Just depends on your preference and budget. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Location is great. I will definitely stay here again when I am back in the area. Thank you Ake!
- Khan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Laura (9/5): Amazing hostel, amazing staff, amazing location! - On the bed is a great welcoming hostel, the staff are friendly and attentive but give you your space. The facilities were great, washing machine, iron and hair dryer were a plus. We stayed in a private room and it was clean and locked so our things were safe. The hostel was very quiet great for sleeping and the location was ideal, very close to shopping mbk, central world etc. but still far enough away. The bed wasn't very comfy, my partner didn't mind it but I struggled with back pain when I woke up. The lights in the hallway shine right in to the room.

- Jeffrey (7/5): On The Bed Hostel was a clean, cozy, and budget-friendly stay with a prime location near Phloen Chit - If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, and super convenient place to stay in Bangkok, On The Bed Hostel is a solid choice! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Phloen Chit BTS Station, which made getting around the city so easy.
The hostel itself is simple but cozy, with comfy beds, air conditioning (a lifesaver in Bangkok heat!), and a chill common area to relax in. The Wi-Fi could be faster, and the rooms are a bit on the small side, but for the price, it’s totally worth it.
Overall, a great budget-friendly stay in a prime location—would definitely stay here again! Rooms are a bit cramped and many mosquitoes.
- Simonown (8/5): A quiet, convenient stay near a BTS station with friendly service. - The hotel's location is excellent, just a short distance from the BTS Green Line station. Because it is tucked away in an alley, the accommodation is very quiet without the hustle and bustle of the main street. The staff are very friendly and offer luggage storage services.
- Cordula (9/5): Good small hostel - Nice small hostel near Sukhumvit Road, clean and quiet. Staff was nice, good shower and a locker within the dorm. The beds are in little "cubicles" which I generally like. Unfortunately the wall of the cubicles don't go all the way up to the wall, which means you get the light from the bed next to you. My neighbour did leave the light on for half the night, which is not the hostels fault, but was a little annoying since it shined through onto my pillow... Other than that it was a little cold in the room, but that is mostly the case in Thailand ;) Also the neighbourhood seemed a little shady, but I didn't have any problems walking there late in the evening.
- Manisaree (5/5): Passable - The only pleasant aspect is the location not far from the Pleonchit station. However, you must walk through the railway and cross two expressway roads, which is tricky because many cars try to because many cars reach the expressway. The pavement of Sukhumvit 1 is also rugged, making it difficult to walk on with heavy luggage. The private room I booked had a thin wall made from a board, which everything outside allowed me to hear. I couldn't sleep well all the nights I stayed. Once I arrived, I only got information about my room number and location. The staff did not introduce me to the bathroom, toilet, wifi, or kitchenettes. The room provided only a bed and a towel, no wardrobe, no fridge, and no water, but there was one TV you could access, only YouTube, not live TV channels. The space in the room is tiny; you could place only one small piece of luggage or backpack. If you open your bag, there will be no space to walk.
- Mounir (8/5): Very good -
- Queenie (1/5): Bad - ok location the facilities were not properly maintained. I could not sleep at all due to lots of mosquitos in the room, and there was a faucet that was so noisy all night long. I made a complaint but did not do anything. No tissue in the bathroom and dirty facilities. I reserved for 2 nights but left after one.
- Katharina (8/5): Very good - Location is quiet but close to nightlife, shopping and restaurants, kitchen is included, free tea and coffee. Beds are comfy and offer privacy, spacious lockers.
- Mohammad (7/5): What you get for what you pay with pinch of mosquito bites and sweaty morning - Although staying with number of strangers, you still have own little privacy. Room Temperature control and mosquito management. A proper briefing required beforehand
- Robert (1/5): BED BUGS - Good location I woke up covered in bed bug bites and found soo many bed bugs after !!!!! Definitely a issue that needs addressing for people paying money and leaving with bite marks ! Not happy at all
- Russell (8/5): Very good -
- Halle (6/5): Nice stay except for finding out there were bed bugs on our last day. - it was in a great location to get to other places in Bangkok.
Private room was small but couldn’t expect any more for the price so we were happy.
Staff were nice. Massive window which covered the whole side of the room which was nice however the curtains were so thin and the lights through the hostel remained on so hard to get to sleep if you need it to be dark .
Bad smell not sure what from, maybe drainage or air con.
Despite these things, we still had a pleasant stay until on the last day we were asked to leave a review on google and did but then we saw many many people complaining of bed bugs from a while ago up until very recently and we had some unexplained bites whilst staying so can only assume they are still present.
- Bayandorj (8/5): Very good -
- Wan-yee (4/5): This place was overrated. - Location nearby BTS Overall hygiene needs improvement, and the place didn’t feel as fresh as shown in the photos. When trains passed by, the bed/room shook as if there were an earthquake.
- Benjamin (5/5): Find a better option for less - Good location The balcony advertised was not a balcony it’s a stairwell
- Russell (9/5): Close to Bumrungrad hospital, vendors, restaurants... -
- Jorunas (6/5): Pleasant - everything was clean, the staff was great, the place is quite great That in the room where I was staying there was one conditioner and half of the conditioner was in my bed, so I got fewer and had to deal with 39°C
- Suchanya (9/5): Superb - Good location n clean n staff very friendly
- Stephen (10/5): Overall the stay is good and comfortable. I would not find any better room around this area for this price. Definitely a - Location is very close to Bumrungrad and BTS train. The room is quite small but good for a short stay given the price.
- Russell (9/5): Superb -
- Russell (10/5): Back again! - Quiet street between hospital & Marriott Hotel. Nearby mall, good restaurants, & street vendors. Staff works graciously to meet & fulfill requests. Places for luggage/valuables. Eating area w/ refrigerator. Air cool
- James (6/5): Pleasant - Aircon is 24 hrs. Staff mostly Missing in Action (MIA) from counter. Its like going there & waiting some time for staff to appear. 4 ppl dormitory room is too small. Some pictures on the Hostel looks deceiving in a way but actual sight not really as good as pictures shown. No advice on checkout. Checkout cant find staff too. Anyway last min. no choice. Location not good. Next year will skip this hostel.
- Matthew (2/5): Very poor -
- Nathaly (8/5): Very good -
- Marie (5/5): Pictures were a trap. - The bed was comfortable. The hostel was very dirty. The bathrooms were not cleaned once during our 2 day stay. The showerrooms do not offer much space or it is dirty. The toilet seat was just nasty.
The black color on the walls hide stains. Next to my bed were indefinable stains.
We did not use the kitchen because we did not feel comfortable.
There was no room for the luggage in our room. If you have two backpacks, no space to move or unpack.
It was so loud due to the big highway and streets. And light because of the lights on the floor. We needed earplugs and sleeping masks.
No window in the room, so only fine with a/c.
The traffic to the city was horrible. It might be close but still takes forever.
- Tolin (8/5): Very good -
- Gabriel (5/5): Not worthy for the money. Dirty and no privacy. - Was not so away from the center by taxi and supermarket/restaurants close by. AC and internet were very good. Toilet was super dirty, the shower curtains was so dirty you could not fully close it (was sticky). Bedroom was so small that I haven’t had space to put my stuff out of the luggage. The room has a curtain that is not fully covering, so people can see some parts of the room from outside (no privacy) and the noise of people on the stairs and outside the room was a lot.
- Ida (8/5): overall I’m very pleased with this stay - Great location and the staff arranged a late check in for me that was really appreciated! Comfy beds with nice privacy and lockers. Just a small thing but the shower curtain was a bit dirty, but the shower was big enough for it not to be a big issue.
- Heyamigo (7/5): Ok budget place - Nice atmosphere Room was quite noisy, shower curtain hasn't been washed for a while. The dark concrete walls hide dirt
- Vishalbhai (10/5): Exceptional -

- Pradnya (8/5): Good deal overall in terms of price, location, cleanliness, connectivity to train station. - I had to attend a conference in Sukhmvit, Bangkok. I searched the location of where the conference was and this hostel was around 1km away from it. I choose to not stay at the place where the conference was held as hotels in bangkok are usually very expensive. This hostel in that sense was the best deal. The female dormitory that i stayed in was a little compact but i guess given the price and the hostel location it was worth it. A person who i befriended in this hostel complained about bed bugs. But there weren't any in my dormitory.
- Russell (9/5): Great location, safe, good air conditioning, kitchen area for basic needs. Yes! - Location, price, air conditioning Mattress was firm, but I like that
- Chansu (8/5): Very good -
- Yonatan (3/5): Dont take the private room. The dormitory looks cool though - Very nice location, check in was fast and easy, the stuff was excellent!! The room was terrible, it was a bed with room for one bag on the floor, one of the walls is a window, with a see through curtain (waking up at 6 am).
- Alexa (7/5): Clean and Functional - Very clean and basic hostel. I chose it due to its walking distance from Bumrungrad Hospital and it served its purpose very well. It was nice to have access to the kitchenette downstairs. There were cookies, a mini fridge, and a pitcher of drinking water available. I waited an hour to check-in because the bell wasn’t working. Turns out the lady was in the back room. Don’t hesitate to knock. Also, I thought I could do some yoga on the little rooftop patio but it was being used to dry laundry.
- Dennis (9/5): Great Hostel - A nice Hostel. Would go there again. Wifi sometimes a bit weak
- Premysl (1/5): Bad - Room/beds .FULL OF BED BUGS. . Bugs running all over the place .. probably hundreds of them. It was disgusting. During the night when lights are off and you sleep. They all come out..
Also once one electrical socket connected to the hair dryer caught on fire .... Luckily it happened during the day..and not at night.. we might be all dead..suffocate from the toxic smoke. And burned subsequently. Staff (which is one person) didn't notice. Luckily one guest noticed after some time... and informed the staff. Yet they panicked. Again luckily another guest knew how to use a fire extinguisher.
- Vojtěch (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marouane (1/5): Bad - It’s not clean and there is some bugs beat me and my family
