• Vladimír (7/5): Spacious apartment, but limited facilities in mid-season - Spacious and comfortable apartment. Friendly staff and good breakfast. The property is located uphill — walking to the town centre may be less convenient, especially in bad weather. Stayed in late October (mid-season) when the hotel restaurant was closed. We were not aware that both breakfast and the indoor pool are located in another building — going there for a swim in a bathrobe was not convenient, especially with kids. The indoor pool, one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel, closes already at 7 pm. Access by car is not very comfortable due to narrow roads — when meeting another car, you often have to reverse.

Pokoje bardzo duże i wygodne. Spa rewelacja - Sauny 3 miejsca relaksu, basen wewnętrzny i zewnętrzny, jacuzzi. Hotel blisko wyciągu. Szkoda, że TV nie miało SMART TV z youtube i netflix.

Insges - Sehr gemütliches, gut ausgestattetes, technisch hochwertiges Apartment . Gemütliche Betten. Wunderbarer Ausblick. Sehr guter, aufmerksamer Zimmerservice. Kleine Küche mit Nespresso Kaffeemaschine. Kaffee wurde sehr regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Gutes Frühstück, das im Tennerhof eingenommen wurde. Den Wellnessbereich haben wir nicht besucht. Das Restaurant war saisonbedingt geschlossen. Nichts.

• Guy (10/5): Great hotel, great service. - The Romerhof hotel is actuelly a wing of the Tenerhof hotel, only rooms/restaurant located 50 meter apart from the main hotel facilities, but... the hotel was very very nice, starting from the welcoming, on to the perfect service from all the stuff (especially the shuttel driver (with the glasses) which was so friendly and helpful. The breakfest was very tasty and almost perfect, more vegtables are needed. the breakfest serivce was perfect. The spa is well equipped and maintained with elegance touch - we enjoyed it so much. A warmer hot tab will make the experience complete. The rooms are big and sparkling clean, if you are planning to use the sofa bed for an adult, ask for a matress topper in advance as it isn't comfortable enough without it. The hotel offers a very convienient ski room and shuttel to the main lifts. The Romerhof restaurant (there is another fine dining restaurant at the Tenerhof building) didn't meet my expectations, it was too pricy (10 euros for 750 cc bottle of water for example) and I didn't enjoy the Schnitzel. Overall it was a great stay and we will surely return if we"ll visit Kitzbuel again.

We stayed with two teenagers and it was perfect for us. A lot of space to spread out with a great wrap around deck with view of Kitzbuhel and KitzSki. Five star stay and will definitely be back. The only thing I can think about is that it is a bit far from the city center and not near the main Gondola for skiers. Alas, the Shuttle was always willing to drive us there. Both drivers and Front Desk personnel extremely nice people

Well trained and super helpful staff. Located up a hill just up from Kitzbühel. The hotel is a gem. Didn’t dislike a single thing.

• Alois (2/5): Vorspiegelung falscher Tatsachen - Ja wir waren der Meinung, dass wir im Tennerhof untergebracht sind und nicht im Römerhof. Der Römerhof ist rund 150 m von Tennerhof entfernt. Als Buchungsbestätigung haben wir „willkommen im Tennerhof“ erhalten. Es ist nicht lustig, zum Frühstück im Schneefall mit der Winterjacke und Winterstiefeln ins Freie gehen zu müssen und auch bei der Benützung des Wellnessbereich vorher und nachher wieder mit voller Kleidung ins Freie gehen zu müssen. Noch dazu haben wir für 5 Nächte Runde € 4.500,00 bezahlt. Wir sind sehr enttäuscht und werden den Tennerhof nie mehr wieder besuchen. Liebe Grüße Familie Schoder

• Virginia (10/5): Wonderful views, apartment and staff. We already want to go back! - It's a fabulous hotel with exceptional staff. Our apartment was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and with a great view of the mountains. The hotel itself was only a short distance and we were very well treated on each of our visits. The menu isn't particularly large but we had two wonderful, if a tad. pricey, dinners there. Breakfast either inside or on the terrace, accompanied by a very good sparkling rose! I can't think of anything. The restaurant attached to the apartments was closed due to the chef injuring himself. That being open would have been ideal as it's a little cheaper than the restaurant in the hotel.

• Edith (10/5): Großartiger Aufenthalt - Wunderschönes Apartement, sehr sauber und wir durften alle Annehmlichkeiten vom Hotel Tennerhof wie Pools, Spa-Bereich, Sauna....mitbenützen. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal! Das Frühstück war sehr vielfältig und kein Wunsch wurde verwehrt.
• EricPDC (10/5): “Comfort” Apartment - We had a “comfort” apartment and to be honest the description on the website doesn’t really do it justice. It has a separate single bedroom, so perfect for a family of three. It is spacious with a lounge, small kitchen and a large veranda. You are part of the Tennerhof Hotel and so have access to its lovely spa, restaurant and bar. There is also a traditional Austrian bistro in the apartment building. The location is beautiful, just outside the town. However it is at the top of quite a steep hill, so the walk back from town, especially after a day’s skiing, can be hard work! Fortunately there is a free shuttle bus which ran pretty regularly. The staff were excellent and the apartment was well stocked with utensils, bathroom amenities, etc.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Ich habe gar nichts zu beanstanden. Ich hatte ein schönes großes und gemütliches Zimmer. Das Frühstück wird unweit im dazugehörigen Tennerhof Gourmet & Spa Hotel serviert. An der Rezeption, die sich ebenfalls im Tennerhof befindet, wurde ich sehr freundlich empfangen. Bei der Abreise gab es noch ein Give Away, das aus Wasser, Obst und selbst gemachter Marmelade bestand auf den Weg. Falls ich nochmals ein paar Tage in Kitzbühel verbringen sollte, werde ich wieder im Landsitz Römerhof reservieren!
• Peter (8/5): Lovely hotel - This is a fantastic hotel and the staff are brilliant. It's a wonderful place. Two negatives. Firstly a small one; what wasn't really clear on the website was that the Romerhof is actually just an annex to the Hotel Tenerhof. That wasn't a problem for us as the weather was good but the novelty of walking the 100 yards up to the spa in our dressing gowns would have worn off if it was raining. Secondly, the only thing that really disappointed me in the whole week was the restaurant in the romerhof. I don't mind paying €170 for three people for food (even if two of them are teenagers) but for that price it has to be a little bit special. It wasn't and the wine was just plain overpriced. Bottom line is that it was a meal I'd have only paid €100 in town and I wouldn't recommend it unless money really is no object for you. But don't let that put you off staying in the Romerhof. Everything else was fabulous. I'd really recommend it and I'd love to stay there again.

• Preben (10/5): Great mountain apartment style hotel - Wonderful apartment style rooms in true mountain style. The hotel is operated by the next door Relais & Chateaux hotel and guests have access to their great pool and spa area.
• 450marilyns (10/5): Charming - We stayed in the apartment although they have a hotel which is a Relais and Chateau called the Tennerhof. The apartments are very spacious and some have fireplaces. The breakfast is fabulous with so many choices. We ate in the restaurant where the apartments are, which was very good, with typical Austrian food. The staff is professional and are there to help with anything you need. Truly excellent service. A 10 minute walk to town, but nice to be up on the hill.
• PaddyM75 (6/5): Fine Rooms -- Great Breakfast - There are two parts to this hotel -- where I stayed and am reviewing, and the Relais et Chateau part .. the Tennerhof Room was 'traditional and quaint' ... the heating was on steroids, so had to sleep with windows open - even with the thermostat switched down. The saunas were clean and well presented (are in the Tennerhof SPA) Breakfast was nice with a lot of choice (and in the Tennerhof) Dinner was OK ... service slow, and they probably forgot we had ordered pudding it was so long in coming. (we ate in the Roemerhof) The staff are very nice and accommodating, we were made to feel welcome and looked after the 9 of us easily
• kbneil (10/5): Home away from home! - We were very pleasantly surprised to find our hotel was part of The Relais&Chateaux group. We were also surprised to find our room was actually a wonderful 1 bedroom apartment with a kitchen area, a large lounge a separate toilet and bathroom plus a spacious bedroom with super comfy bed. Our apartment also had a large balcony looking out towards the town of Kitzbuhel. We were also supplied with an array of toiletry items ie, shower gels, soaps , shampoos, bathrobes etc.... And included in our room rate was a delicious breakfast delivered to your table in the lovely hotel restaurant. Apart from the standard Bkfst fare of breads, cheese and meats , we were also offered muesli, cereals, yoghurts, eggs omelettes & fruit plates to name just some of the options. The hotel also provided complimentary parking right out the front. Service in the bfst room was also excellent. The hotel was on The Kitzbuelerhorn side , slightly elevated with views across to town in a very peaceful setting surrounded by little Heidi houses & in May buttercup meadows. The hotel was around a 10-15 min walk downhill into the centre of Kitzbuhel. We loved our 3 night stay in May2016 & would definitely return.
• chamonixCalifornia (10/5): Some of the nicest hosts - We had not been in Kitzbühel for several years and decided to stay here as an afterthought on the way back to Chamonix from Salzburg. This afterthought turned into a regular stop for us from now on when we are in Salburg several times a year.! The people were so warm and welcoming, in the off season, I can only imagine how great they would be when everything is open. The rooms are excellent, typical Alpine and warm with a beautiful fireplace. 5 star and HIGHLY recommended. Our new regular stopover in a charming guesthouse with gemütlichkeit!
• Ari1006 (10/5): Lovely Place - We stayed here in October and had an extremely good deal and a lovely relaxing stay. We booked a day before and as it was shoulder season, between summer and winter, the price under 100USD was incredible for what we had (I am sure once skiing season starts, prices are a lot higher as Kitzbuhel is one of THE places in the Austrian Alps). An apartment with one bedroom, living room with a pull out couch, fully equiped kitchen with seating area, bathroom, separate toilette, a lovely balcony, all in a traditional Austrian Alps style. Breakfast is included and was really good (eggs, breads, croissants, fruits etc.). Free WiFi and Parking were another big plus. The place is a 3minute car ride or a 10 to 15min walk to the main street area of Kitzbuhel. We did not go skiing, as it was off season, but there are tons of skiing areas and lifts all around Kitzbuhel. All staff was super welcoming and friendly as well. A great place to stay.
• FamilytravellerTA (8/5): Beautiful but noisy!!! - We stayed at The Roemerhof for a week in August and really enjoyed our time there. The accommodation was perfect for a family of 2 children, and the small restaurant attached to offered the same typical Tyrolean cosiness. Unfortunately for us, a new chalet was built right outside our bedroom windows and by 7 o clock work (with chainsaws and hammers!) would start. Not acceptable but nothing could be done about it. Otherwise I can only recommend this place; a suitable alternative to the rather posh hotel Tennerhof, especially if travelling with children. Maybe a little to far from the centre- 15 minutes walk, which downhill is ok, but back up.....well, that depends on your fitness!!!
