• Jerome (2/5): Mauvaise experience - Chambre donnant dans l’entrée/couloir et à côté de la salle de restaurant. Donc réveillé à 6h15 au moment de l’installation du petit dejeuner et bruit du soir des personnes rentrant se coucher. L’hôtel prêtant avoir prévenu. Ce n’est pas le cas. Du coup hors de prix pour la prestation.

Well, it is easy: stunning location (a little remote, yes, but you know that in advance) in the middle of nature and vineyards, beautiful building and pool, excellent restaurant, friendly and efficient staff, good price/quality ratio, ample parking possibilities, etc. The only problem we had was the size of the rooms: really a little too small. If the toilet had been integrated in the bathroom, it would have been ok, but now there was not much space to store our luggage. Anyway, we had a wonderful stay with 12 people.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by the stunning views of the surrounding vineyards - a truly picturesque setting that left us feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. But what truly sets this hotel apart is the exceptional level of service provided by the staff, particularly Nilesh. His professionalism, attentiveness, and patience made our stay truly unforgettable. Whether we needed directions to local attractions, recommendations for dining, or simply a friendly conversation, Nilesh was always there to assist with a smile. The rooms themselves were spacious, well-appointed, and immaculately clean, offering a cozy home away from home. And the hotel's amenities, including a lovely swimming pool, only added to the already delightful experience. This is truly a gem of a hotel that is not to be missed.

• KirstyP404 (6/5): Nice hotel, very remote and a bit overpriced. - Nice hotel, very clean. We stayed here for 3 nights while attending a wedding at a nearby chateau, it was nice and clean. The pool area is nice as well. I found the breakfast overpriced, €14 for a boiled egg, bread, ham & mini pastries. You only get 1 bottle of water in your room even if there are 2 of you. We were sitting, chatting & eating McDonald’s which we had ordered from Uber eats at 10pm one night when we were told the outdoor area was closed and we were asked to move so we went to the back where our rooms were then half an hour later we were told to basically go to bed as people had paid to be at this hotel to sleep. I know that everybody on the side we sat were part of the wedding and when asking people the following day if we had made too much noise they had said they didn’t even hear us. Would recommend staying at this hotel if you have hired a car as then you can travel to nearby towns for food as there were not many options on the restaurant menu.

Joli vue quand dehors mais de la chambre nous ne voyions que le parking... Dommage... Si non personnel très accueillant, mais séjour cher par rapport à la qualité de la chambre... La télé était installée sur le mûr à droite du lit, donc il faut se tordre la tête pour la regarder !!!

Donc on vous fait comprendre que la chambre louée, est très bruyante, le lit est en 140, que les WC sont dans la SdB et que pour 6 € de plus vous avez vraiment une belle chambre. Je n’apprécie pas la méthode !!! Que les hôteliers mettent la définition réelle de la chambre à louer …..

The staff are very professional and friendly, the accommodation is spotless and the location amongst vineyards is stunning, The food at the restaurant is excellent and the tasting menu of wine by the glass an enjoyable novelty. On our recent visit the assistance given by Morgan in helping us to arrange a courier delivery was truly exceptional. We would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Chambre avec vue sur parking (je n ai pas eu à choisir lors de ma réservation), petite et poussiéreuse (sous le lit énormément de moutons, tête de lit et télé remplies de poussière). Rideau de douche pas très agréable dans un hôtel . Séchoir sur demande (je voyage bcp et je n’avais pas encore eu ça ). Chauffage par la climatisation le radiateur ne fonctionnant pas mais dans une petite chambre le bruit est plus que dérangeant pour dormir. Bâtiment qui mériterait un ravalement. Nous sommes loin du château !

• danielcP5157SQ (6/5): Nice location, great restaurant, average room - I tend to look for hotels with character. Some hotels look the same the world over. So I thought a hotel at a vineyard would be exactly that. Unfortunately, it wasn't. From the outside, it looks great, but the rooms are typical characterless rooms you can find anywhere. They're not very big, the beds are relatively narrow (which is a problem for an man of my "portliness"), and the toilet was exactly 20cm wider than me... I will not complain about the duvets, as that is a personal idiosyncrasy : I hate duvets. But. The staff is incredibly helpful, and even gave us access via an emergency exit, so that my somewhat less mobile companion didn't have to negotiate any stairs. The restaurant is sublime and has a large selection of wines. You can even order sort of a wine tasting during dinner. You get a ticket to get a choice of 24 wines from the winebar. You can sample them all, but if you do, you'll probably have some memory problems the next day... The breakfast buffet is more than adequate.

Even though I was prepared due to the comments about the rooms on this site and other sites….. the rooms are terribly small, outdated in a very ugly building. No space to leave 2 suitcases so 1 is on the balcony. The romantic setting expected is specifically outside at the diner restaurant and field in front of it. The hotel is in another area. The staff is friendly snd helpful but without a decent room not worth going.

• 95iuliag (2/5): Disappointment quality price - Honestly they don't deserve a star. It was the worst experience I've ever had in a hotel. The hallway is very narrow, the rooms are tiny, they stink and they don't look at all like the photos posted on booking. As far as the breakfast is concerned you don't have much of a choice and it's expensive as hell. They do have an elegant building,manor style and since we went there to have our mariage photos taken I thought we would be spending the night there. Instead, we spent the first night of our honeymoon in a motel room. I'm disgusted. We tried to shorten our stay, but we couldn't reach an agreement so we had to pay for the entire stay. The staff wasn't very welcoming either. I honestly suggest not to pay 140 € for a crappy motel without not even a breakfast included. Don't get fooled by the photos posted on sites.

Une douche en remplacement de la baignoire et de son rideau peu agréable serait un plus. • nikster528 (10/5): A pleasant surprise - Took my family to Les Secrets Château Pey La Tour for dinner on my last day visiting France. It is also a hotel. The decor was charming and welcoming, the food unpretentious and delicious, the service impeccable, and it was surprisingly priced reasonably. I wish I had known about this gem sooner. I am told it is even better in warmer weather with table service on the outside terrace. I will definitely add this restaurant to my regular spots on future visits.
• JanetG189 (8/5): Very quiet - Just stayed 1 night at this hotel, it’s in a lovely situation with vineyards all round, and very quiet at this time of year. Welcoming reception, clean, comfortable and quiet rooms. Only minus, no lounge area, just a lobby with limited space.
• Stacy (10/5): Would have liked to stay longer, beautiful value! - This was a beautiful stay, nestled in a vineyard 10 minutes outside Bordeaux. The room was lovely and clean with a great view of the pool and vineyards. We opted for the garden view room for a slight upcharge. I did mention to the staff in the morning that the pillows felt pretty flat to us, but I tend to use an extra pillow when hotels have them in the room. The staff was excellent as well, arranging dinner reservations via email at the on site restaurant. The best part for me was the gourmet dinner and great wine tasting. It was a pricey meal but worth it. We were only there a night for a road trip stopover, but this would be a great place to spend a week and explore the area more. Speaking English was not an issue at all, they were very helpful at the hotel and restaurant and many of the staff spoke English or were good sports about me using Google Translate haha!

That being said the location is amazing and the adjoining restaurant was a real experience. Staff were very good and helpful.

The staff that greeted us were lovely and accommodating throughout the stay - the pool is nice and the on-site restaurant bar serving good local food. The rooms themselves are basic but well maintained and cleaned though the outside of the building looks like it could do with a bit of a spruce and the fence, a lick of paint.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft inmitten von einem Weinanbaugebiet. Leider darf dies gar nicht betreten werden und man darf sich auf der Anlage kaum bewegen. Trotzdem eine tolle Atmosphäre. Das Zimmer war sehr sehr klein und einfach eingerichtet. Das Frühstück hatte eine kleine aber feine Auswahl.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - We loved the setting in the vineyard . We upgraded to a terrace room so we could relax on loungers overlooking the vines immediately outside our door. The room itself was quite small but we forgave that because of its situation. The pool setting was amazing too. The restaurant was beautiful (the foliage walls in the toilets are something to be seen!). The food is good if a little pricey. . Breakfast in the hotel was good and offered a view of the vineyard and pool . We wandered through the vineyard and saw the busy life that goes on there. Great place.

It was bliss, and just what we needed to recharge before the long return journey home. The pool was great to cool down and relax in and we also enjoyed a delicious evening meal at the hotel. Perfect for touring local vineyards. Would love to return some day.
