- Dr Pratibha (4/5): - Located close to the main bus stand. A little difficult to identify. Advisable to speak to the hotel on the phone. The room has a stench indicating lack of ventilation even though it has a big window that can be opened. Carpet was severely stained and old. Mattress on the bed had broken springs, which gave us a backache.
Bathroom sink was cracked, geyser didn't work.
Breakfast was included but the eating area was unclean.
One night stay should not have cost more than 1000-1200 for this room.

About buffet area,
1. Their cleanliness was very bad, need to think about a good housekeeping
2. Morning breakfast serving is not clean, we have paid money that's why you're giving food, keep this in your mind
3. I have requested Hot water for my kid, she was given , until I saw the bottom of water kettle , very dusty. See atleast this one you should take care, but you're not.
Rooms :- rooms are spacious but
1. There is no facilities like coffee, tea, milk powder, hot water kettle is not there,
2. To ask anything to the reception, you have to come down for asking them
3. Room cleanliness to be improved
4. There is full of windows on every wall, but the window curtain doesn't fit, someone's can be watching you from nearby buildings during night
5. In the toilet they exhaust window broken
6. In the toilet a mirror was there, you can see what a person doing the toilet from bed. You have given an option to close by curtain , but this is also having gaps, very thin, can not able to switch on light during night.
7. In the toilet heater don't work properly, tripped once. And I do the same twice ,heater efficiency is very low,if a person bathed next person need to wait for 15 to 30 minutes to get hot
8. Water color is changed into black in the morning. Seems koldai lake water
9. Room locks are very flimsy, please change into professional locks
10. Water not came in the wash basin
11. Sofas in the rooms are damaged conditions.
Overall, i have booked this hotel for rs.3580, but this is not more than worth for 1500 rupees, even hotel employees are not in professional manner, please give them an uniform.
It's a nice building but because of their bad maintenance very bad.

Wish they had sanitized, cleaned dining tables. Clean rooms and unbroken wash basin would have been better. Had to change 3 different rooms until I find semi- decent room just to sleep in. Liquor bottles leftover from previous customers.

The restaurant and staff is dirty and unhygienic. The room carpet is dirty with black spots. Toilet seat broken. No drinking water in the room. No glasses. A Bar is located near to the property and drunken people quarrelled outside. Not recommended for family with kids. Location not good with narrow roads.

manager - Nothing We had a very bad experience with the brainless manager over there. During booking itself we requested for early check in as our bus will reach there early.we were even ready to pay the tariff for that. But that stupid manager rudely denied us saying we were no way respondsible for the request u made. He also said give whatever feedback u want Nothing will harm me....Is this the way to talk to the customers..? After booking online i got mails,watsup messages asking to pay 30% amount or else will get cancelled.but after paying no one answered our call..... also no responds for our early check in request.... then y we need to pay early?such a stupid guy appointed in fab hotels kodaikanal who is going to be reson for their downfall....All the very best for hiring such an idiot as manager.

I cannot understand how booking.com shows good review, while google reviews clearly underline how worst this property is. This is a totally worthless hotel for the money paid. this is simply a lodge with zero amenities. restaurant is just a dirty, un-hygienic hall run by untrained local people, who serve the food bare-handed. it is simply the worst hotel we have ever stayed.
Impolite staff, No drinking water, no tea/ coffee bags, no kettle, available in room. bath room with faulty lock and broken windows, defective toilet flush. dirty mess hall.

Fab hotel Abirami Grand Inn __No ***3 star standard and not valuable for money which I paid.hotel is an unhygienic bed sheet and billows ( inside the billow soo dirty sign may be I hope there were using last 5 years) .its very stink and unclean.Not working power sockets.Tv screen all lines .No kettle .No sanitizer. No response ,when we call the receptionist several times.And we had a bad experience for morning breakfast.while taking 1st day morning breakfast. One of the canteen people came and shouted, your booking didn't include breakfast he said in an unprofessional way ,when we were sitting with family.we are treated like hostel students. He is very much attitude. We had a very bad experience!!! 😔

- Dr. (7/5): Comfortable at the centre of Kodaikanal - The rooms are good and cozy. Lift facilities are available with good support staff. It is situated on a small narrow lane, bit tight for large cars and located besides a busy main road. It is difficult to access and park the vehicles. It is very difficult to reverse or turn your care as it is a sloped road too.

No service, no drinking water in the room, even after calling several times nobody bother to pickup the phone, when electricity went off even knowing that we have to go to second floor with bags the staff didnt run the generator, the guiser capacity is so small that even one bucket of water doesn't fill.

No drinking water facilities in the room, even though we have to do it for ourselves
The family room doesn't connect to WiFi service which was a huge disappointment for us and we need to spend on our mobile data package.
The overall location and the scenic location is the best I can say very near to the lake.
Even though the hotel rooms were empty we were not offered the room wherein we had checked in earlier.
Staff could have provided us early check in from their kind gesture.

Geyser was not working, upon calling the hotel person to check hot water, he did some checking of geyser but still hot water was not available. AC/fan was not there in room, even though the location is cold still in the afternoon it gets hot. Washroom has a glass wall and curtain was transparent, this was really uncomfortable.
