Spacious rooms with all the amenity required... walk in shower, water, coffee tea making & toiletries. Entry was in a laneway and we were not advised of this. Pool was apparently a nightclub which was interesting.

It was beyond our expectations! The building is beautiful, the rooms spacious (get the balcony, it’s worth it) and the staff were amazing! It was a wonderful 3 days. My sister and I are heading back down there to stay again for her 40th this coming long weekend and can’t wait!

I’m particularly grateful to Mr. Saksham of the front desk for helping me to change my room because the first one with a balcony is too close to the next building, making me feeling very uncomfortable. Mr. Saksham is very kind and patient. But hotel is really full and he managed to change another room for us on the night after. This made the memory for our trip to Vancouver from bad to very good. We were also delighted to find the breakfast which had been changed to room service because of works in the restaurant was very good and delicious. Paradox Vancouver will always be my 1st choice if I come to Vancouver again

Amazing amenities, great room (which I got a complimentary upgrade to an Executive One Bedroom Suite), and very friendly and helpful staff who helped me during my stay! Very much look forward to staying at the Paradox Hotel again when I come back to Vancouver in July 2026!! Great surroundings, atmosphere, location to good restaurants and places to eat, shopping, and nice being 20-30 minutes away from Vancouver International Airport! I didn’t hear any aircraft taking off or landing during my stay!! Great pool, hot tub, spa, and speedy elevator (got up to my floor my room was on and down to the lobby really quick)! Good price for the room I had, very clean upon arrival in my room. Housekeeping came every day (I’m pretty sure) and came every night to do a complimentary turn down service before bed! Relaxing and peaceful stay and atmosphere at the Paradox Hotel, even with other families and their children staying. Can’t wait to come back😊

This is now my third visit, and each time it feels less like a hotel and more like a second home in Vancouver. A special mention to Mr. Saksham Saini, the front office supervisor, whose professionalism and personal touch make all the difference. Being greeted by name, remembered, and looked after with such sincerity is rare and deeply appreciated. He goes above and beyond to ensure every stay is memorable. The whole lobby looks like a construction zone, and one of the two accesses is closed. I would’ve expected some concession as a make up, but there was none.
- PhilG-UK1 (10/5): The best in Van - It’s rare for a room/hotel to wow me these days, but this one certainly did that. Go for a Paradox King - it worth it for the bath tub alone! Check in/out was quick and efficient, and the staff lovely. Nothing is too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean, and really quiet. The bed, super comfortable. There was everything you could possibly need, including lovely toiletries. I was only there for one night, so can’t really comment on the area or any other hotel facilities but, from my limited exposure, it was a winning combination of attention to detail and great customer service, and I can’t wait to stay again, hopefully for longer next time.

- 322karinay (6/5): Temporary Repairs for a Major Flood Issue Limit Services and Quality of Experience - Arriving at the hotel, we needed to enter via the back alleyway and found a lobby enshrouded in draped protective sheeting with vacuums and fans working behind the temporary draping. As the flooding had occurred below the third floor all bar, restaurant, and lobby services at the upper level lobby entrance were affected. One of the two elevators was not functioning for the duration of our two nights stay making the elevator wait time longer than expected. The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions for alternatives for food and beverages and were doing their best under challenging circumstances surrounded by the noise of the fans and vacuuming as well as the construction workers and electrical cords. The rooms were unaffected by the flood damage.

The pool and hot tub were great, especially the open fire pits on the patio. The room was one of the largest we've stayed in- spacious, bright, and spotless, including a fridge and Nespresso maker. The best part was the service- every staff greeted us by name and were always so helpful! We were even able to check in really early, which was appreciated after a VERY early flight! I wish the outdoor hot tub was open past 7:00pm.
- djgold (1/5): Sad, hotel damaged by flooding we will never know if it is any good - There was nothing to like We arrived at the Paradox entrance where a staff member directed us to the entrance in a small back lane. On arrival we unloaded the car only to be told that the hotel was closed due to a flood. The hotel rebooked us into another property - no communication prior to our arrival nor since.but we acknowledge they found us an equivalent level hotel room and paid for it but honestly it would and should have been possible to individually email or at least have a banner on the website

- Happiness26515477783 (10/5): Modern hotel in the heart of Vancouver, Saksham at the front desk made the stay amazing and would stay here again! - The hotel was modern, luxurious and in a great location. Saksham at the front desk made me immediately feel comfortable and welcoming to the hotel. His service was excellent and expedient which set the stage for the entire stay. The service was very accommodating throughout and very quick when I needed extra towels or toiletries.

My top‑floor room had a stunning view of downtown Vancouver, and the service was exceptional — one front desk agent, Saksham, went above and beyond. The food was another standout; the Chef is truly gifted, and every meal was memorable. I definitely look forward to returning, hopefully sooner, than later!

The presentation was beautiful, with vibrant colors and thoughtful plating that made it almost too pretty to eat. And the flavor? Simply delicious. Every item was fresh, perfectly prepared, and wonderfully satisfying. Highly recommend if you want a morning meal that looks as good as it tastes!

Our room on the 11th floor was beautiful and unique and we were pleasantly surprised by the very speedy elevator.We enjoyed a complimentary drink in the buzzy lounge as well as a tasty breakfast there. The location was convenient and we would stay there again.

- StephenY1514 (10/5): Great location and staff! - I like staying at the Paradox for business, as the central location is close to restaurants that I love, like Guu and Nightingale, plus it's got Urban Fare if I need snacks in the room and Coal Harbour is just down the street for my morning runs. The staff is really helpful and super friendly; always willing to go the extra mile. My welcome amenity wasn't fresh and they swapped it out quickly for some chocolate truffles and macaroons. The room was spacious and I like that the hotel is quiet on the room floors, with good insulation. Recommend this hotel to anyone!

- U2946THbrettr (10/5): Great Hotel in prime position for short city stay - Great luxury hotel with huge rooms. The room size was great as we were a family of 4 with 4 suitcases heading for a snow ski holiday. The hotel has a pool table in the foyer which is a nice touch for the kids as well. The position of the hotel is easy walking to Coal Harbour, shopping and Rogers Arena for the ice hockey. Would highly recommend.

- yooontae (4/5): 残念 - 外観も部屋自体も高級感ある造りでした 受付の方が丁寧な対応をしてくれる優しい方でした ･追加料金がかかるものは何一つ使ってませんが予約時料金より5千円多く請求されました ･常時浴槽にお湯を張っても送風を消しても部屋がものすごく乾燥してました ･ベッド脇にいつ補充したのかわからない埃が浮いてる水が滞在中常備されてました ･プール(ジムも?)が点検中か何かで滞在中1度も使えませんでした ･掃除が適当なのか前の人が使いかけたアメニティがそのまま置いてありました ･昼間部屋の清掃が終わって油断していたら数時間後スーパーに行ってる間に再度入られた形跡があり,アメニティや浴槽の清掃はされてないのに,端に置いておいたパンツだけ畳まれて目立つところに置かれてました なぜ数時間後に２回部屋に入ってきたのかいまだに謎です

- Jg2018 (10/5): Staycation - The four of us stayed at Paradox for a one night staycation on December 29. We were booked into a executive one bedroom suite. The front desk staff were very friendly, and the room was incredible, easily one of the best hotel rooms in Vancouver. It was spacious, clean, and full of natural light thanks to the large windows. I’ll be staying in the same room again in March and am very much looking forward to it.

- TruthTellingTravel (10/5): My new favourite Vancouver hotel - I think this hotel has successfully shaken the specter of its former Trump Hotel incarnation. Spent a total of 4 nights here and would definitely come back. Rooms were spacious with plenty of closet space. Beds were ultra plush and comfy. And there was a nice desk for a work station. Also… loved the turndown service. Such a nice touch that elevated the whole experience. Also, great location that’s walking distance to everything you’d want in the West End. Special shoutout to Saksham at front desk who remembered me by name and always welcomed me with the biggest smile. Made me feel truly welcome and thought of as a guest.
