Guest Reviews
- PAMELA (10/5): - Hosts went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Room was spacious and we were able to choose the room's temperature. Loved all the animals and relaxing atmosphere. We were even given farm fresh eggs when we left. NA
- pascal (10/5): - Tout Rien
- Kathy (7/5): Wished I had more time to hang by the pool - Quiet, horses dogs cats scenery
Place to escape the stress of the day
Clean nice big space to relax by the pool screened in Better reading light in the room. A second basket for trash, refresh of breakfast bars daily,
- Rita (10/5): -
- Rita (10/5): Can hardly wait for our next stay - Calm and peaceful, beautiful grounds Still didn’t see any free horses
- Sharon (10/5): Perfect location for us as we were biking the Withlacoochee Trail from three different trailheads. - The horses. My pillow.
- Una (10/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): - Every single thing was amazing. We loved everything.
- Carol (9/5): -
- WILLIAM (10/5): Peaseful - Gracious host And hostess
- Stuart (8/5): It did for me exactly what I needed. - The owner met me outside and was very nice. He gave me the lay of the land, my keys, and had me sign the insurance form. The room was big and clean with a large private bath, which had a walk-in shower. The water was warm when I took a shower early the next morning. This room had a large closet, a mini-fridge, a desk with a coffee maker (Keurig, or similar), a big bed, a fireplace (I did not use), and a large TV.
The property is a horse farm, at the end of a dirt round - very beautiful, very private and very quiet.
Things that I neither liked nor did not like: the kitchen is off-limits, there are two common areas inside the house plus the very nice pool area is open to guests. The room is next to the kitchen, which was being used by the owners until about 8:45pm, which is not late, but I needed to wake up very early the next morning.
The streaming service did not pick up local channels, nor the ESPN family of channels, so I could not watch any of the March Madness games.
The dirt road can be a bit harder for smaller cars to navigate.
- Rita (10/5): My idea of heaven on earth - If you want to unwind in peace and quiet, with beautiful views of a horse ranch, this is it. It’s foaling season so babies(foals) are on the ground. Hosts make you feel right at home, reasonably priced for an overnight stay. I couldn’t find any free horses
- Zeoli (10/5): Wonderful - Fine for us Nothing could have been better. Perfect
- Merry (10/5): -
- Sandra (10/5): Amazing - Beautiful house beautiful horses
- Chris (10/5): Awesome experience staying on a working ranch - All of it Absolutely nothing wrong with with the property
- Jennifer (10/5): Peaceful, most memorable stay! - An amazing experience! I didn't want to leave! Already planning my future stay. Nothing, just wish we were able to stay longer
- Kesler (9/5): - The property is beautiful and the hosts were very accommodating.
- Margaret (10/5): - Wonderful hosts and a very lovely, peaceful location. Such a treat to stay here!
- Leslie (10/5): Absolutely Perfect! - The ranch is absolutely beautiful, peaceful and relaxing! Sitting on the patio or by the pool with a glass of wine was a perfect way to spend the evenings and enjoy the sunset! A quiet stroll around the property to visit with the gorgeous horses including a 3 week old foal was over the top wonderful! The owners have 2 sweet dogs, some cats and chickens too! We also enjoyed the deer, birds and squirrels that came to visit the yard. We highly recommend this place for those seeking a relaxing, out of the hustle and bustle experience with nature. We will definitely be back if we return to the area for another trip! There was nothing we did not like!

- Eileen (10/5): A gorgeous place to come to for a getaway for just rest and relaxation. The horses just gave me a sense of peace. The tw - This home was beautiful quiet everything anyone could ever want that just wanted pure relaxation.. not to mention all the beautiful horses that I spoke to and the two dogs that I played with Nothing negative to say it was beautiful
- Jean (10/5): Will definitely recommend. - Owner was really nice and sweet. The farm was really pretty!
- Silvana (10/5): Great! Peaceful and friendly hosts. - Quiet, clean, peaceful. Ability to observe the horses. Gravel road to get to the property. Once in the property, paved road,

- Lex (10/5): Fantastic place to visit! - The ranch is a fantastic place to visit. We had a wonderful stay here during our round trip through Floria. Peter is a great host and it was very interesting for us to learn a little bit about the world of horses. Nothing
- Nikki (10/5): -
- Wendy (10/5): Exceptional - The house is beautiful and quiet. It was relaxing to sit by the pool and watch the antics of the horses. .
- Luis (7/5): Good -
- Imre (9/5): Superb - Clean , friendly, and homely
- David (10/5): Exceptional -

Seeing all the beautiful horses was fantastic
- John (10/5): When you leave a beautiful place, you carry it with you wherever you go. Great memories! - N/A N/A
- Lawrence (10/5): Peaceful surroundings enhanced by friendly magnificent animals and wonderful owner.y - We were happy with the breakfast items provided in our room. More than enough, and we enjoyed it on their beautiful poolside porch where we could see some of the horses including Toffee, magnificent! The only thing we can think of is not having the opportunity to meet Nancy due to the unfortunate accident she experienced the day we arrived. Of course, we immediately offered prayers for her well being and speedy recovery and will will look forward to meeting her on our next stay !
- Michael (8/5): Peter and Nancy were very friendly and cordial. I was amazed that they can take care of all their horses and their home. - The staff, horses and dogs. N/A
- Margaret (10/5): Fantastic stay and can't wait to return! - Beautiful location, wonderful hosts, and very friendly animals to greet us! Lovely and peaceful.
- Peter (10/5): Loved It - We live staying here at this beautiful horse farm. It is so quiet and the owners are so sweet and pleasant! The only comment we would have is the bed was too hard for us and the pillows were very flat. But, we do t like hard beds and prefer fluffier pillows. The room was nicely accommodating with its own refrigerator and coffee maker. The hosts give you yogurt, fruit cocktail, water, juice, muffins, granola bars for breakfast. The lovely pool area overlooking the horses is stocked with water, soda and had Stella beer. So very beautiful and serene. We love it and look forward to staying again
- Donna-marie (10/5): We highly recommend. Peter and Nancy have a beautiful home - Excellent hospitality. It was a very peaceful and calm vacation. The animals were so sweet from the horses to the dogs to the cats. The room was very clean and very comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our stay I wish there was more to do around the town.
- Zeoli (10/5): Exceptional - The owner, Peter, was very sociable and accommodating. The majestic gypsy vanner horses were friendly and their horse training facility was such a beautiful place. The home was magnificant! Everything was better than expected. Couldn't have been more perfect!
- Oliver (7/5): We enjoyed our stay - The whole outside setting of the ranch within the property is very impressive The bed sheets and pillow cases had a very strong laundry detergent odor.
Also there was a very strong fabreeze type odor control unit plugged in the bathroom.
We do not believe this is required , after we just aired out the room after unplugging that unit.
- Nancy (10/5): A little heaven on earth - Peace ....birds, chickens, cat, 2 german shepherds and lots of beautiful horses! Even a colt. I only stayed one night
- Alicia (9/5): Superb - I really enjoyed this place. Very relaxing and nice hosts. Beautiful views and I loved the animals. Room was spacious. I was only upset that the listing said there was a hot tub and there was not. We were looking forward to going into the hot tub that evening, so were surprised and disappointed to see it is gone. The listing doesn’t reflect this.
- Devon (10/5): Quiet, peaceful, beautiful! - This is our 3rd visit to Rock Pointe Ranch. We love the quiet, peace, beauty and safety of staying here. We will stay again when we return. We visit family near here and the location is perfect for us. We love the changes they have made by adding a heating/air system to each room and the continental breakfast. The shower head in the bathroom needs to be cleaned. It seems to have buildup in the area where the water comes out. also the toilet needs to be snugged up.
- Layton (10/5): Nice location away from the big city, very quiet and well keep ranch. - Out in the country, with a great view of the ranch and their horses. Would have liked more interaction with the hosts.
- Terry (10/5): Something different and delightful - Lovely spot and very relaxing. A resl highlight of our touring holiday. Beautiful horses and friendly hosts.
- Richard (10/5): Exceptional -
- Curt (10/5): Exceptional -
- Joann (10/5): Exceptional -
- David (10/5): One of the best!! - Everything ???
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Relaxing and quiet
- Norman (10/5): Just the iconic place for our retreat and plans! Couldn't have been better! - Pete and Nancy were just the most excellent hosts! The place was beautiful, scenic, relaxing, peaceful, and comfortable! The horses were beautiful, and the dogs were your companions everywhere you went, but not in the way - they were company and very pleasant! We had free reign to walk the home and the property as we chose. So much beat the typical Hotel stay! Sitting out back or out front, was a beautiful view! At night hearing the Bard Owls, seeing deer, listening to the horses rustle a bit, was just so enjoyable! Kelly does a fantastic job keeping the place clean! Looking forward to the opportunity to stay there again! There were things that could have been better?
- Anne (10/5): Beautiful and relaxing. - Loved everything about our stay. Peter and Nancy were great hosts. Meeting the horses was amazing. Very relaxing weekend. Didn't stay long enough.
- Sherry (10/5): Exceptional - Our king room with the beautiful working fireplace cozy comfortable bed and country charm amenities was perfect! The weather cleared in the afternoon, and we were so happy to see the handsome horses at the fence and walking the farm! What peaceful beautiful natural surroundings! We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in our room... so healthy and plentiful, especially loved the Kurig coffee maker. Our visit was our best ever! Thank you !
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional -
- Charles (9/5): Superb -
- Anderson (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): AS FAR AWAY FROM THE CITY AS YOU CAN GET WITHOUT AN AIRPLANE. - Continental Breakfast in room was quite adequate.
We have had the awesome optional full breakfast before and opted for the smalerl one this time. It is a 1/2 mile down a bumpy dirt road to get there
- Keith (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): this ranch is a dream - Peter and his wife are very friendly, the ranch is spectacular, you can watch the horses and disconnect 100%, although the ranch has very good Wi-Fi service.
Pay attention to the hotel's rules, check-in time is until 8pm for many reasons, including that before arriving you must follow an uncovered street (it is a short 5-minute stretch)
Don't be guided by the GPS, be guided by the instructions sent by the accommodation, and the signs. It really is easy to get there as long as you don't go too late and it gets dark.
- Kathleen (10/5): Soothing, peaceful & serene - Mattress soft and separates
- Cheryl (9/5): Nice stay in beautiful surroundings - Beautiful lodging and location. Very accommodating hosts. Conversations in general area easily carried into and heard in our guest room.
- Richard (10/5): absolutely fabulous - just a stunning room, in a beautiful house with full use of everything,Inc pool and free to wander round the grounds and stables... the breakfast blueberry muffin..
- Lynda (9/5): Relaxing , comfortable but would not return because of above reasons - It was beautiful, clean and comfortable.
Very quiet and lovely animals Peter no longer cooks breakfast, we had already opted for a continental breakfast so that wasn’t really a problem for us but it was for someone else staying there and it hadn’t been mentioned beforehand. Our breakfast consisted of prepackaged everything, fig bar, protein bar, activia yogurt, pot of prepackaged fruit in juice not what we would call a decent breakfast from a b and b, it wasn’t automatically replenished which we found irritating as we didn’t want to go looking for Nancy or Peter whilst they were busy tending their horses, we went 2 of the 4 days without breakfast.
- Hutto (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shirley (10/5): Exceptional -
- William (10/5): It was quiet, clean and the staff was super friendly - The breakfast was great I enjoyed everything about the stay
- Perry (10/5): Exceptional - We had the king room with terrace and loved it. We will definitely stay here again. Breakfast was provided in the refrigerator. Beautiful place overall!
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional - We make this our "go to" when in the area. It is peaceful, beautiful and always welcoming.
- Martin (10/5): Hidden gem - Real working ranch in a beautiful 20 acre setting.
- Margaret (10/5): Comfortable and relaxing. Exceeded my expectations in every way. - Comfortable and relaxing escape Nothing
- Susan (9/5): Superb -
- Philip (10/5): This was the second time that my wife and I have stayed there and definitely plan on returning!! - Perfect location for peace and quiet. We especially enjoyed looking at the horses. Breakfast was phenomenal. Clean rooms. There was nothing that we didn't like. We love it there.
- Lynn (10/5): We had a great time. - The breakfast was awesome. Well worth the cost. The pool was refreshing . The place was so nice and clean. Our room was nice and clean. The owners were super nice . The place is so nice. The horses were so beautiful. We had a great time. I have nothing we did not like here. This place met our expectations.
- Celaa (10/5): Loved the house and the horses and our family has been there in the past and plans to return again one day. - Horses were beautiful and hosts were friendly and accommodating. The house was clean and had good amenities like mini fridges and individual air conditioners in rooms and a screened in pool area. Plus, great breakfast if you choose to upgrade! Nothing that would make me not return, but good to keep in mind that there are not many restaurants within a close drive (more options about 20 mins away).

- Janet (10/5): GREAT! - Breakfast was wonderful!! Hostess was so friendly & interesting to visit with! Can't think of a thing. All was wonderful!
- Ayala (7/5): Very nice place if you want to go to bed early and kind of just walk around and look at the horses, but I wouldn’t come - Beautiful property, beautiful horses The bed was very uncomfortable and hard, and the pillows were flat. I couldn’t sleep. I don’t know if they had company or other people staying there but at 10 o’clock at night they were telling us to be quiet and I’m on vacation. I know you’re not but maybe you shouldn’t have a Airbnb at your house if you’re gonna tell people to be quiet, it is on a ranch. It’s not like we’re disturbing other people except for the host, but we weren’t that loud. We were just talking and laughing out front on the little patio they have by the front door. I mean it was 10 PM on a Friday night . I understand maybe they had to get up and feed horses in the morning but we don’t have to get up. We’re on vacation and I feel if you’re having a bed-and-breakfast at your house make it more accommodating, for example they turned off the pool lights while we are upfront if we wanted to take a swim in the evening, it was right outside our door but we didn’t. We were comfortable enough to turn the lights on and go swimming after that. Peter the host was a very nice man and his wife was nice as far as I know I only said a couple words to her. She didn’t really come out and greet any of us. But I definitely think they would get more customers if those things were addressed maybe other people like it and like to go to bed at 10 o’clock on a Friday night when they’re on vacation but I know I don’t . Peter was very very nice and offered us a free night stay because I told him that we had an emergency which we did. We had a fence down at home and we have horses as well . Not sure if I’m gonna take him up on that but we paid for two nights and stayed one and I didn’t have a problems since it was my choice to leave. I wish them good luck and thank you for the hospitality .
- Kenneth (9/5): Perfect; wish we could have stayed longer. - Perfect for our needs. We were attending a wedding reception nearby and needed a staging place and overnight. This worked well. Wish we could have stayed to enjoy the horses and the pool - WOW! Follow the signs and NOT your GPS/Google. There is a short dirt road coming up to the property gate. There was a number on a sign by the gate to call and all worked out well.
- Jerry (8/5): Property was peaceful and beautiful. - Property was peaceful and beautiful. Nothing bad to say about the property.
- Treshe (10/5): My son and I loved the ranch, the horses and the staff - It was more beautiful than I could have imagined! The horses were majestic!
- Cindy (10/5): Just Amazing, could not of been more perfect... - The Breakfast was a wonderful Homemade Breakfast. The atmosphere was wonderful. Was so nice and peaceful I Loved the Beautiful farm, everyone was so kind and were ready to meet any need yet gave space and privacy. Was so wonderful, will definitely be back..
- Margaret (10/5): A magnificent secluded place to stay. Greeted upon arrival by host Peter. Just perfect. - Secluded magnificant ranch. Better than 5 star. Nothing. My visit was perfect.
- Amie (10/5): Exceptional - We did not know what to expect! It was a little nerve-wracking trying to get to the ranch on the dirt road, but once we got there were were very pleased with the accomodations. The grounds were beautiful and the room was very nice and clean! Like I said, it was a little scary going down that dirt road, but I got over it!
- Sarah (10/5): Great place to relax and enjoy some gorgeous horses. - My friend and I took a short vacation to the area and it was marvelous. The horses were so beautiful and majestic to look at and pet(if they were up for it). The house is spacious and homey. We enjoyed lounging in the living area on the couch and enjoying the patio as well. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. We ordered the breakfast one of the days and it was very good!! Highly recommend. Getting to the house is a little off -road and rocky which could be a problem if it's raining.
- Carole (10/5): My adult daughter and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. We felt comfortable and very safe!! - The breakfast was fabulous!! Fresh fruit, delicious omlette, yummy waffles...
Charming setting in a beautiful 20 ft. ceiling home!! The owner, Nancy, was helpful and thoughtful. The horse ranch was beautiful. 20 acres of beauty!! The bathtub was large and quite tall. Difficult to get in and out of. Also would suggest 2 ADA grab bars to be securely installed. They had one suction small grab bar. The bathroom itself was a fine space
