- Alexander (10/5): - The Broadway Grill serves excellent breakfast. The meat lover omelette and real fried potatoes were the best!
- jfairlane9 (4/5): Our stay at Inn at Jim Thorpe - Our first stay in 2025 was wonderful. Our second stay in 2026, NOT SO MUCH!!! Noisy guests gathered outside both of our windows on our balcony all day and late into the evenings. We complained to the desk, and were told they were allowed to be noisy until 11pm. We said we could not wait to get to sleep that late, and finally the crowd left. They sat inches from our windows and we could hear everything they said quite loudly. We had no privacy. Besides that, our bathtub filled to the top with water when we showered.
- James (9/5): I would stay again. - All was good. The street was a little noisy.
- DDRx2 (10/5): Another Stay at the Inn at Jim Thorpe - Always a great stay at the inn, Never disappointed. From the staff, location & room cleanliness & breakfast. Highly recommended.
- Priscilla (9/5): - The location, the balcony, the architecture, interior decor and aesthetics! Plus the attached restaurant was one of the go to spots in town too, hence super convenient!
- 652mattr (10/5): Beautiful hotel, unbeatable location! - Stayed here Thurs-Friday for our scheduled LVGR trip Friday morning. The hotel itself is gorgeous - beautiful and well-maintained Victorian right in the heart of downtown. Walkable to anything. Staff was extremely nice and helpful and rooms were clean, spacious and very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone visiting JT for the first time or those who are returning.
- Fred (10/5): very enjoyable and would go back in a minute. - Nice little town and hotel was great.
- Margaret (10/5): -
- hardins2026 (10/5): Good price for location - Good price, good location, and good service. They provided parking space, and then we didn't need to use the car at all. TV had no local channels.
- mgbowman1980 (10/5): Don't Miss This! - I'd heard of the town of Jim Thorpe for years and have always been curious... so when an East Coast conference took me within an hour's drive of the town I made arrangements to overnight here on my way home to Western PA.
This hotel does not disappoint!! As a frequent business traveler I've become accustomed to standard hotel rooms -- this is anything but! When I opened the door to my room, my jaw hit the floor. The room was huge, with an antique-y vibe, three large windows (lots of sunlight), a conversation seating area, and both room and bath stocked with everything a visitor could need.
In the common areas, the hotel features antique ceilings and lighting... and a full service restaurant with fantastic food and staff (and live music some nights). This isn't just a hotel, it's an experience. AND it's in the heart of Jim Thorpe - just about everything a visitor will want to see is within walking distance. Don't miss this gem!
- jacquesalexandre0615 (10/5): Couples getaway - Overall everything was good and easy to get to the town activities. The staff was helpful. The parking was perfect. Keep everything as-is
- joemO5787GO (8/5): Decent stay, hard to sleep - I'm giving our stay a 4 because of the staff although it's probably more a 3.5. On the plus side, the staff was friendly and extremely responsive. We had a problem with the temperature in the room and the thermostats weren't working. They had someone up in less than 5 minutes and it was fixed in less than 15. The positives - The location is great, restuarant in the hotel is really good and the rooms were comfortable if a bit dated. The negatives - It was pretty pricey for what you get. As I said, the rooms (at least ours) were a bit dated, there are no black out curtains or shades on the windows and in our room, on the Broadway street side, it was LOUD. Constant reving of car engines, church chimes, music from the bar below (they stop at 10) and general street noise.
- Karen (10/5): - This hotel is beautiful and centrally located. The room was stunning with a lovely balcony. And the hotel has lots of parking.
- N9770ILcaroleh (2/5): Rude - Front desk were very rude and unaccommodating we stayed here many times and had enough! Never again!
- Barbara (10/5): -
- healeyelectric (10/5): Fishing Trip - Had a great fishing the Lehigh River with a guide on Saturday. Caught a lot of fish but we both froze to death. Rain and cold wind cut the trip short.
- meganglesko (10/5): Great girls getaway! - Great time for a shared 50th birthday overnight getaway! Our room was clean and well appointed. Excellent service and food!
- ericross04 (10/5): Very nice place to stay - The Inn is a really nice place to stay. The room was very clean, updated, and quiet. The staff was very friendly too. The only thing that's a problem is the limited parking, which is understandable for the age of the town.
- joligaw (10/5): Wonderful Stay in Jim Thorpe - Amazing girls weekend with so much to do . The Inn has many perks like early bird check in, breakfast vouchers and discounts for The opera house .
- jemramdad (10/5): The Best Jim Thorpe Has - Absolutely great hotel. Clean, rooms are comfy, quiet, beds comfortable, staff is awesome, and you're in the heart of Jim Thorpe! Prices are comparable to other stays, but dedicated parking. We absolutely adore the Inn At Jim Thorpe. Have been there on more than one occasion and is now our standard stay when visiting the area.
- jodivhry19 (10/5): Friendships - Hotel was excellent especially our breakfast experience our server. KIM was so tentative and professional. We enjoyed her as our server for two mornings.
- gabriellepL556IX (6/5): Average stay - Hotel is very nice - located in center of town - convenient - BEWARE - we were on 4th floor - windows closed - the band’s drummer was located outside and even though they advertise 8-10 pm live music it went on until 11.we had the TV on so loud to try to compensate. The front desk just said we advertise live music on the website - however it’s just the drums banging for 3 hours. After a full day of hiking - it was less than peaceful. No apology given - front desk admitted the 2nd floor guests had also complained. Stay at the Y up the street.
- KazfromSydney (8/5): Comfortable stay in a great location - We had a pleasant one-night stay at The Inn at Jim Thorpe. Our standard room with two queen beds was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom looked recently refreshed.
The location right on Main Street is very convenient for exploring the town, and having a diner downstairs was especially handy for an easy breakfast.
- Ramos (9/5): -
- archiesadler (10/5): First time in Jim Thorpe - Everything about our visit was great! The food, service, entertainment and the whole town was great!
- Alexey (9/5): -

- morrann (10/5): Amazing stay! - I really enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Jim Thorpe. The rooms were super clean and the age of the inn gave it a charm I enjoy. I would definitely stay again. Front desk staff was friendly.
Bed was a little lumpy, but nothing major.
- Riaz (8/5): Nice and clean place and location - Nice location, neat and clean room I enjoyed staying with my spouse Miss the microwave in the room
- SlyMontag (10/5): Can’t Wait to Return - We loved the vibe; the location is perfect; the veranda is the best spot for people watching, relaxing with a drink in the evening, or checking email and having your coffee in the morning; the staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful
My husband and I mentioned we were staying as part of our anniversary trip. When we arrived to our room, we were greeted with the loveliest hand written card and a delicious bottle of wine to celebrate. We were completely surprised and extremely touched by the thoughtfulness of the staff!
My only complaint is despite accidentally booking their most haunted room, their resident ghost didn’t make an appearance.
- Megan (10/5): The epitome of Jim Thorpe - The staff is incredibly helpful and kind.
It is also in the heart of everything. That we couldn’t stay longer!
- Shane (10/5): - Lovely hotel, excellent staff, couldn't ask for a better location. Special mention to Bill Cleveland (I hope I got that right!) for helping a bumbling Irishman like myself
- Angela (10/5): - Went away for a girls’ night. We loved our stay! It really is close to everything. The room was very clean and adorable. Our breakfast there was delicious as well. Looking forward to staying there again.
- bobs497 (10/5): Smitty and Irine in Jim Thorpe - Every aspect of our stay at "The Inn" was totally outstanding, from the moment we checked in to the moment I was called several hours after we left being notified about my credit card being left in the room key envelope.
- Salvatore (9/5): Everything was great and the restaurant had good food. - The Inn was a great place to stay. We were able to walk to everything like shops, restaurants and train ride.
- Escape552750 (10/5): Wife's BDay - Love the Inn. Always very satisfied. The Broadway Grill has Top Notch food & service! We love the town of Jim Thorpe as well.
- BCAREY1013 (10/5): A Great Place to Visit! - We love our stays at The Inn! It's always clean and comfortable and in a great location. The town is quaint and a lovely place to visit. Staying at The Inn just makes it better!
- F.A. Morse (9/5): - Beautiful place with great history
- s_piscitelli (10/5): The Inn at Jim Thorpe - Great location! Everything from parking, the room, the restaurant, and the entertainment were great!
- MirandaLand (10/5): Charming Victorian Inn, Excellent Staff!! - This charming inn has been faithfully restored so that guests relaxing on the balcony can peer through the gracefully curved wrought- iron balcony and imagine Victorian ladies strolling the main street called "Broadway" below, their skirts daintily brushing the ground, instead of tourists toting shopping bags with whining children in tow. Centrally located across from the railway station, the Inn at Jim Thorpe has a decent pub attached that features live music on weekends and is within walking distance of clever boutiques, cute restaurants, the Mauch Chunk Opera House, and many historical attractions focusing on the anthracite-rich heyday of the town, such as the Asa Packer mansion just up the hill from the Inn. The first important bonus is the parking lot reserved for guests because parking in Jim Thorpe can be a huge P.I.T.A. especially during busy tourist seasons (summer, fall foliage, and winter holidays). The second important bonus is the staff; they are friendly, patient, engaging, and willing to go above and beyond to help their guests. For example, the front desk ladies printed and scanned a document I needed to send someone for work as if it were no trouble at all, and a gentleman working the night shift allowed my friends and I to hang out in the basement game room during quiet hours so that we continue my birthday celebration without disturbing the other guests. If you're looking for a home base to explore this quaint town and beautiful surrounding region, look no further than the Inn at Jim Thorpe!
- Tonya (10/5): -
- Adrienne (9/5): Very enjoyable hotel and look forward to staying here again - Close proximity to all of Jim Thorpe, charming and cute boutique hotel Fairly standard accommodations, no microwave in room, need to make breakfast reservations which fill up quickly
- David (9/5): -
- nick91283 (10/5): Amazing place and people - This was our first time here but will be a yearly trip for us moving forward! The place the staff the atmosphere was completely top notch
- Experience277545 (4/5): Not impressed - Front desk and reservation department should be trained more. Guests need to be informed when making their reservation that on site parking is on a first come, first served basis. And the front desk needs to be more helpful and friendly as guests check in
- mhewston2 (10/5): Great place to stay for a great weekend getaway! - A very pleasant experience staying at the Inn at Jim Thorpe. The location was close to everything in town. The room was a good size and very clean.
- reneetrzaska (10/5): Great couple getaway - My husband and I stayed at the Inn as a couple's getaway and to attend a concert at the Penn's Peak facility. We enjoyed a couple's spa package which was very relaxing and restorative. Breakfast each morning was delicious with wonderful servers taking care of us. The Inn is in a perfect location to enjoy the town, shopping, entertainment and delicious food and drinks. We also enjoy the train rides which depart nearby. We also hike at various parks and trails and swim at a nearby lake just outside town when we visit in the summer. We visit Jim Thorpe approximately once each year and have always stayed at the Inn, and always will!
- dbills001 (10/5): I always stay at the Inn when I am going that way. - Great stay as usual, I am looking forward to the next time I am in Jim Thorpe, not just for the great Inn but the whole village.
- lg6149 (10/5): Get away - We enjoy coming to Jim Thorpe for a weekend get away love the town and look forward to our next trip
- Glynn (10/5): great - staff and food service was great and the food was excellent no flavored creamers for coffee very minor issue
- Michele (9/5): - The hotel is perfectly located in downtown. I love the historic charm and the room was spacious and clean. Loved it. Nothing but positive to say
- Natalie1155 (10/5): First Time Visit - Great location in town, our room was very clean and staff was very friendly! The breakfast was fantastic and an all-around wonderful experience. Will stay here again when visiting Jim Thorpe.
- Megan (9/5): -
- cmir (8/5): great stay - Always a great stay. The parking is tight but you can park in the street from 9pm to 9am so there is always a spot
- william (10/5): -
- johnX4248GE (10/5): week in Jim Thorpe - Great people work here! A nice change from National hotel brands. The breakfast food was very good. As well as the bar food.
- bill676 (8/5): Our yearly visit - The staff is what makes our yearly visit all worthwhile. Though we had some difficulty with the heat and fireplace, the front desk and maintenance staff was beyond great. Even when we lost power on Sunday morning the staff was wonderful.
- winnietp00h (10/5): Weekend at The Inn at Jim Thorpe - This is one of our favorite small towns to visit. We always stay at the Inn, because it's walking distance to everything in town and bonus they give you a $10.00 voucher towards your breakfast at their restaurant if you book with them directly. The rooms are always nice and staff is as well. I love that there is a restaurant in the Inn as well as a small bar and on the ground floor on the restaurant side they have bands playing most nights. I also like on the ground floor of the Inn there is a room where you can play ping pong as well as tables and chairs where you can just hang and out and possibly play games if you want. I also love the balcony on the 2nd floor which is a nice place to relax and watch the town when the weather permits.

- RyanB036 (8/5): Would Stay Here Again - But Wouldn't Eat Dinner Here Again - We celebrated our 18th wedding anniversary here. The inn itself is really nice and we loved our king suite room. It snowed while we were there and everything looked beautiful. It is within easy walking distance to many attractions, restaurants, and shops. This is very important for this area, because parking is VERY limited and very tight. There's barely enough room to drive in your own lane on the roads. The inn offers a parking space and lets you stay there until 2 PM the day of your departure, which is a very nice touch: it allows you to continue sightseeing and shopping even after you check out at 11 AM. I do not recommend the restaurant, except for breakfast because of their breakfast voucher system. The breakfast is average - better than most chain hotels though. We ate dinner one night there, and my wife had a terribly overcooked chicken sandwich (which they didn't make her pay for, thankfully). The service that night was also poor, we rarely got service (such as simply being able to order more drinks) from any of the three bartenders working the bar that night.
- Frimy (10/5): -
- rjherb75 (6/5): Disappointing stay - Parking was terrible. Linens were not clean. Room and bathroom were clean.
Breakfast food and service was excellent
- Scott (10/5): -
- Megan (10/5): A must stay for Jim Thorpe - I loved the vibes overall. It's the cutest inn I've ever been in. Everything felt clean, the staff was amazing, the room was very comfortable, and the shower had great pressure. They also offered coffee in the lobby in the morning, which was nice since they didn't have breakfast or room service. They don't offer room service, and on Sundays, their restaurant closes at 6 pm.
- Enriquez (10/5): -
- Joseph (10/5): Excellent experience and can't wait to do it again - The location and staff was lovely and I enjoyed the historic feel of the building and the surrounding area. Can't wait to come back and explore more of the area and stay there again. I didnt like ... well I don't have anything I didnt like my stay went very well!
- Laura (10/5): Lots to do. Trolley was fun will return - Beautiful convenient with restaurant attached
- Daniel (10/5): It was very good. Hotel in great location to walk everywhere. - Was good, $10. 00 coupon for breakfast was deceiving. Did not get. The breakfast coupon should be included if you booked through booking.com
- Jennifer (5/5): Great location. Very nice staff. The outside noise made it hard to sleep. - We enjoyed the location and the breakfast was great. Our room was very noisy in the evening and early morning because of an outside porch. We didn’t get much sleep.

- Coastal23376803246 (10/5): Beautiful Inn at Jim Thorpe - We completely enjoyed our stay at The Inn. It was such a nice location that we never once got in our car, we walked everywhere. It provided exactly what we needed; relaxation, good food and drink, and a cozy place to read, watch movies and enjoy good conversation.
- Ariagna (10/5): Una estancia que te transporta al pasado - Ubicación perfecta, balcones bellísimos para disfrutar un libro o un café!
El Bloody Mary es delicioso!
- magaly (9/5): It was good - Location
- abrams17401 (10/5): Great stay at the Inn at Jim Thorpe, PA - The friendly staff and cleanliness of the room made the stay awesome. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Jim Thorpe for Christmas and to celebrate our 15 year anniversary.
- summerbeet (10/5): Always a great deal at this historic inn! - This was our second stay at the inn. It’s so cute and charming! We love the secret-ish ping pong table on the lower level. Other big pros: the breakfast voucher, the guaranteed parking, and the very reasonable rates.
- Ellen (6/5): Good location in Jim Thorpe. - Location Poor lighting in the room. No table or desk in room.
- Keith (8/5): -
- dodi66 (10/5): Great find! - The town of Jim Thorpe is charming, the hotel is charming and very well located for exploring the town, our room was very comfortable, staff was nice. We would return without hesitation.
- Mark (10/5): Interesting venue with very friendly and warm reception personnel - It’s historical feel and charm. NA
- crisnsteve26 (10/5): Wonderful place to stay in a great little town! - We really enjoyed our visit to Jim Thorpe and especially our stay at the historic Inn. They are friendly from the very beginning and our stay in a queen suite was super spacious and comfortable. The restaurant attached to the hotel made it easy to enjoy meals without having to venture outside and it was delicious! There’s also a bar attached with live music some nights. We recommend this gem. The town is so quaint, lots of shops and everything easily walkable from the Inn. The train station that provides scenic rides is just a few steps away!
- TerryCat (6/5): First Time at the Inn at Jim Thorpe - We stayed at the Inn first weekend in December. Luckily the town had a nice coating of snow which made everything a little more special. The Inn itself was historic and very well maintained. We interacted with a total of 10-12 people and 75% of them were disappointing. The bar staff were the most helpful out of everyone we interacted with. I'm up in the air if I would give them another try down the road.
- overheatin (10/5): A must stay for Jim Thorpe! - This hotel hit the mark for everything. Parking, price, fantastic restaurant, beautiful clean rooms, great service and the perfect location for all activities! Highly recommend
- Mark (9/5): -
- Carmen (9/5): - La ubicación y muy limpio
- Kelly (10/5): Perfect place to stay in Jim Thorpe! - Central location in town…everything within walkable distance. The room was comfortable for four people. All staff were friendly. We loved the atmosphere of the old Victorian building. We ate breakfast at the Broadway Grille and it was exceptional as well!
- Evette (8/5): -
- my3tabbycats (10/5): Thanksgiving in Jim Thorpe, Pa - Love being able to park, and walk the town, love having the restaurant and bar, also the underground bar with the live bands. Thanksgiving Buffet is absolutely delicious, and so is the restaurants breakfast. Always visit the opera house for the annual blues jam and Buffet. We have been doing this since 2020 and it has become a tradition for us at Thanksgiving.
- Barak (9/5): - Well we found this place by “mistake”, but Jim Thorpe is a wonderful place with such a cute hotel called “INN”
- Yamily (8/5): - Habitaciones /y baños amplios. Muy buena ubicación.
- Paris822 (10/5): great getaway - PERFECT LOCATION close to train and everything was a lovely getaway for a few days
ate in the hotels cafe especially for breakfast everyday
GREAT STAFF GREAT SERVICE Can.t wait to go back
- corinnegreenberg (10/5): A great place to stay! - If you're traveling through central PA -- especially if you're a business traveler -- why not treat yourself to staying in style? The Inn at Jim Thorpe was charming and delightful, while still providing all the necessary amenities and services. Highly recommend!
- derosejennifer (10/5): Just lovely - From the moment we checked in the service was wonderful! We stayed at 44 and found it to be darling. The rooms were very clean and maintaned-linens and toiletries were lush quality.
Just an fyi parking is very tight in the garage and steps are steep to the 2nd floor. We will be back, we loved it!
- jadams1016 (10/5): Loved it! - We only stayed for one night but it was perfect…the location, the room, the Broadway Grill. We had everything we needed in the room. The inn is centrally located in town. The staff was very helpful throughout our time. Having the Broadway Grill next door was very convenient. I highly recommend if you are traveling to Jim Thorpe, PA.
- milkweed2025 (10/5): First Timers! - The town is best experienced by leaving your car parked and walking to your destinations! Parking is at a premium and since everything is centrally located the common sense alternative is walking.
- the4steds (10/5): Birthday celebration - My wife and I have been coming to Jim Thorpe for the past three years. We come here to celebrate my birthday, and once again, Jim Thorpe delivered! from shopping on Broadway, to the delicious sushi, to dinner at Macaluso’s, everything was fun and relaxing! We are looking forward to coming back next year and every year after. We are coming from Philadelphia and it’s only a short 70 mile trip Up the Turnpike.
- Roberto (6/5): Mediocre alojamiento - El desayuno es mediocre. La habitación era pequeña y daba a un pozo de aire oscuro donde estaban los aire acondicionado.
