- Susan (9/5): In general this is a good place to stay. - The fact that there is no one in the office. This has no person to talk to or check in with. Do not like this at all. Have to go to a coffee shop next door to get signed in. Poor customer service on my feeling of this.

- William (9/5): Great service and excellent room! - Checking in was super easy and the room was very clean and everything overall exceeded my expectations. Going up the stairs and the balcony had a little creak to the floors. Makes a large guy a bit nervous.

- Julia (6/5): - The room as clean but the entire facility was vacant except for me -- there was no one in the office, just a note on the door directing me to a soda shop next door to check in. It was old and quite unkept on the exterior. The room itself was very dated right down to the huge fluorescent light fixture on the ceiling. The bed was very saggy and the pillows were old shredded foam. The price seemed high for the 'amenities.'

- Lindy (7/5): Standard Amenities, clean and roomy, but worn - The facilities are showing their age but I knew that before booking from other reviews and accepted the fact since this was one of the few motels that accept pets in the Lyman, WY area. We planned to visit the Fort Bridger Historical Site (great place!) before heading on into Utah so this motel was well located. Although we were surprised by their Contactless Check-In process (we arrived around 7pm on a Sunday night) we were able to quickly check-in and enter our room. It was nice to not have to keep track of a hotel room card for entry to our room. The carpeted flooring just looks dirty since there are stains that they apparently can't get out. If they would spend some money and replace the carpet with vinyl planking the room would seem slightly more modern and better kept up. Also found a few large dents in the walls. Looking at their Guest Informational Binder it needs to be updated. The Pet Policy fee is no longer $10 (now $25) so I wondered what other information in it was outdated and useless for their guests? I also wondered if they change the room codes between guests? I've encountered this keypad lock system at another motel and that place used the last 4 digits of my phone number for room entry which gave me an extra feeling of security.

- Minnie (8/5): Staff was quick to get rooms cleaned up. - Nice big bed. It was close to Ft Bridger Mountain Man Rendezvous, which we were attending.

I had to call a number posted on the door and they then gave me the entry code over the phone. I had to walk a flight of stairs to get to the room.
- Vickie (6/5): - Negative: Hotel rooms are very old. Carpet was very dirty. We wore our shoes until we got into bed. It was also worn through in areas. Old wall air conditioning unit was very noisy and slow to cool down. Positive: sheets and towels were white and clean. They were in great condition. I think the room was pretty clean (other than carpet). It's hard to tell with the old bathtub & toilet. The bed was not bad but the pillows were flat and lumpy There is really no where to eat in town other than a pizza joint or a bar.

It was comfortable. Plenty of good lighting. TV not in a good location. Closet was not good. Not enough hangers either. Didn’t ask for maid service so can’t comment on that. Had a room upstairs which was hard for us because we’re old.

The room included a microwave, mini fridge & coffee maker. There were no clothes hangers even though there was a large clothes closet. Consequently, the large cabinet/closet was pretty useless. There was no kleenex. Only one hand towel was provided. The air conditioner wasn't very effective.

- Thomas (10/5): - They do a contactless checkin which is a little differant but was ok. The proce was good and the room was really clean. The beds were pretty comfortable. There is nothing fancey about this property amd its a little ways off the highway but not bad. But for the price it was perfect. Clean comfortable and the town is very friendly. Resturaumts are a few miles away so bring food with you or drive a few miles. But ya i would recommend this place. Staff was very friendly.

- Michael (4/5): Don't pay more than $39 - This would be an ok place for $39 per night. Nowhere near the $110 we paid. The floor has soft spots. The luke warm water takes forever to get to the room. The rest was average at best. And some tweeker/meth head drives a loud side-by-side around at late hours and likes to do donuts behind the hotel. I'm sure the locals know who I'm talking about.

I had no issue with this well-stocked and clean room. The bed was comfortable. I’m sure it would have been quiet except that we were there on the 4th. The fireworks stopped at a reasonable time so it was not a problem. Check in was easy and friendly. I would book here again.

- Kayla (4/5): - The price was affordable and the beds were comfortable but the door was hard to get shut, the bathroom door had 2 big holes in it, the floor in front of the refrigerator/ microwave was very loose like there was damge underneath. We noticed the bath tub was missing the lever to be able to drain the water and we had a hard time with getting the toilet to flush. The whole room needed some serious maintnence and upgrades. Also, it said it slept 6 but it only had to queen beds so the 6 of us were crammed in. This is NOT a place I would stay at again.

Finally got checked, the carpet was badly stained, and the air conditioner barely worked, never cooled the place down and was so loud. The bed was too hard to get into it was so high. No one around to check out.

Stains all over the carpet, peeling paint on the walls, cigarette burns on the bathtub and what appears to be mold growing on the ceiling above the shower. They charged us $126/night for a room that was worth $50/night tops. The exterior of the property is deteriorating—crumbling concrete steps, weird soggy carpet on the landings. It’s clear this is not being well maintained and the rates they charge are absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable for the quality of the rooms

We were able to stay in a ground floor room and take our dogs for a walk around the neighborhood. The people staying in the room above us were very noisy, but other than, we enjoyed our stay.

- Anonymous (8/5): Gateway Inn is now one of our go-to places to stay off of I-80. - We had a very spacious room with comfortable beds. The check in process was easy and the staff was friendly. The wood set of stairs near our room could have had better lighting; I was nervous going up and down them at night and early morning. The concrete on another set of stairs was crumbly in places.
