Uns hat die hervorragende Baskische Küche sehr geschmeckt. Das Hotel bietet ein sauberes kleines Zimmer mit Kühlschrank und Balkon und sehr hilfsbereitem Personal. Die Lage ist sehr gut.

Das Zimmer war nicht sauber & es wurde auch nicht wirklich nachgeputzt an den folgenden Tagen. Ein Badetuch war von Anfang an schmutzig. Ich habe es auf den Boden gelassen damit es ausgetauscht wird - wurde jedoch nicht! Am nāchsten Tag auch nicht.

• Peter (8/5): Clean and comfy for one night - This place is better than it looks from the outside - comfy bed, very clean, nice staff, great bathroom. Only slight downsides were it’s a little noisy from the street and the wooden doors mean you hear doors closing but other than that it’s fine.

• CRISTINA (10/5): GENIAL! - Los trabajadores fueron muy amables antes y durante el viaje! Nos ayudaron en todo y se mostraron amables. El hostal está muy céntrico! Se puede ir a pie a todos los sitios. El hostal es cómodo, limpio y adecuado. No se necesita mas para ir a hacer turismo a Bilbao y volver a dormir y descansar.

• Charlotta (8/5): En underbar resa till Bilbao - Hotellet låg centralt till för utflykter både i centrala och gamla stadsdelen. Nära lokaltågen och Guggenheim museet. Rummet hade det som var beskrivet eller åtminstone fanns det tillgång till det. Personalen hjälpsam och fixade det man bad om. Tyvärr var min säng lite för hård.

Very helpful English speaking staff. Spotlessly clean, spacious suite overlooking Calle Amistad. Bars and restaurants on Amistad and others a short walk away. Third time we have booked this Pension.

Vous êtes au cœur des commerces, restaurants, à pieds vous êtes à 5 min du quartier Casco viejo et à 20 min du musée Guggenheim. Mention spéciale pour l'excellent et chaleureux accueil.

• Mina (10/5): Nice and clean hostel close to the centre of town - This is a nice little hostel close to the centre of town. We were a bit concerned whether it might be too tight for us two to stay for two nights but it had enough space and the bathroom was bigger than expected. It was comfortable and the staff there were always very helpful. Also, the price is reasonable. So I recommend it highly.
• Seoulpam (10/5): - Our room was very conveniently located a couple of minutes from the train station and only 5 minutes or so from Casco Viejo. It’s small, but clean and comfy. It got a bit warm outside our 2nd night and we were delighted that they provided a fan for us without our having to ask. We had a mini fridge in the room, so we could have cold water and snacks. I recommend it!

• Verified traveler (10/5): Gute Stadtpension für Bilbao - Sehr sauber und gute Lage. Sehr netter Checkin. Alles ist fußläufig erreichbar, auch vom Flughafen aus. Einfach den Airportbus nehmen und dann etwa 8 Minuten laufen. Bilbao sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen.
• Vern (8/5): - Interesting hotel near the action of Bilbao old town. Super and helpful owner/receptionist. Hotel is rated as a pension but has the quality of a hotel. It has very good renovation done with more to come. Only criticism is getting to the place via car. Even the GPS didn't get us close enough to unload luggage conveniently. Restaurant next door is outstanding for breakfast.

Stanza pulita, potrebbe risultare piccola per qualcuno ma per me andava benissimo. Personale disponibile. Hotel che consiglierei agli amici per un piccolo soggiorno a Bilbao.

• steven (8/5): Overall - The location of the hotel is the reason to stay. It is a 5 minute walk across the short bridge to the Old Town. You get the advantages of the Old Town without having all the noise, especially weekends. The Gug Museum is about 15 minutes away. Otherwise, the hotel is nothing special. The amenities are film packets of soap and shampoo. No restaurant. There is no coffee maker, only a vending machine in the lobby that is really weak. The doors in the hall slam when anyone comes or goes. It is a particular problem in the morning. Beware of the shower design. There are jets that spray at you when you turn it on. The staff is nice enough.
• bilbao visitor (8/5): Cheap n cheerful - Basic hotel in central Bilbao, spitting distance from the river. It's dated and worn, but cheap and the staff are friendly and helpful although English is limited.

Everywhere easy to get to on foot but handy for trams and buses if needed and parking available so a totally stress free and enjoyable few days in the city and also surrounding countryside and coast.

• Danny (10/5): Nice pensione near to old town and commercial area - This was the last place we could book in Bilbao for our last night of holiday. Normally we wouldn't have booked but we couldn't be too choosy. What a surprise! The pensione was in a fantastic location and the staff were wonderful. The room was a little expensive for 3 of us but it could have slept at least 5, so for a larger group it would be incredible value.
