C’est récurrent car c’était comme ça à ma première visite et je croyais qu’il y avait un événement spécial. La piscine mal entretenue. La plage jonchée de déchets et de verres brisés . Le Spa fermé. Le bouchon du lavabo était coincé; j’ai téléphoné et ils ne sont jamais venus voir le problème .

Nice restaurant on site with good buffet breakfast. Nice, big pool with view to the beach. Beds are a bit hard. Bathroom fans seem to be interconnected and had smoke coming in from neighbouring rooms, despite being non-smoking. Downside from being on the beach and with live entertainment it can get noisy early and go on into the night.

- Christian (8/5): Gute Adresse in kupang - Im Restaurant war ein sehr lauter DJ, man konnte nicht miteinander reden. Darum haben wir auf's Zimmer bestellt, die Auswahl war klein, die Portionen klein. Ich empfehle Grab eat, wenn der DJ da ist.

There was a mix up with our booking - maybe an issue with the app not the hotel? We booked 2 rooms but the hotel only reserved one for us. They found us a second room but we entered and realised it had been occupied and not cleaned. They found us another room but we ended up having rooms on seperate floors - not a big problem just an inconvenience.
- Steven (1/5): Not good. Disappointing. - Nothing Wifi was poor and intermittent. The room was rundown and needs renovations. The bed was small. We could hear other guests in nearby rooms at 3AM. There was a rave party going till 4AM at adjoining property.

Food selection was good. overall cleanliness was on par with other large hotels. Beach access was a highlight. Despite a great selection of food in the restaurant, it could have been a lot better. Some foods are meant to be served hot but were cold. Poached eggs were not drained properly so were sitting in water. We ordered 2 cappuccinos at breakfast on our first day and it took over 15 minutes to arrive. No cold water in the rooms even though there is a fridge. No milk but rooms have coffee making facilities. Bottles of mineral water next to the kettle. Why not plain water? We left a teaspoon in the fridge and house keeping reported it and we were questioned about it the next day. Pretty sure they are very cheap. No big deal at any other hotel. We needed cold water so put one of the bottles of mineral water in the fridge and it exploded. so we were charged Rp100,000! Paying for it didn't bother me. Why not just use premium plain water in plastic bottles? Loud music playing in the bar area downstairs till midnight was a bit annoying. I needed an itinerary printed and had the document on a USB stick. Staff told me they couldn't do it but I had to email it to them. Its not that hard to just plug it in and print. If you want to advance international tourism in the area much needs to improve. It seems only domestic tourism is the main target market.

Within 24 hours we were both incredibly unwell. Whilst we can’t be certain this was because of Sotis, it was the clearest link. Food was terrible, lots of food unavailable. We have stayed in past with no issues, but this stay was horrible.

So many things to choose from if you like a good breakfast. The restaurant couldn't serve us the beers we wanted but would sell them to us in a pitcher. They simply poured the beer bottles they said we couldn't purchase into the pitcher.

Good sized, well decorated rooms (upgrade to oceanfront it’s worth it). Gorgeous pool and great hotel bar/restaurant. Lovely staff. We spoke other tourists and the consensus was this is the best in Kupang Gym had decent equipment but many things were out of service.

- Bernhard (4/5): Das Grauen hat einen Namen: Sotis-Party-Hotel - Sehr schönes Zimmer mit Blick auf das Meer, aber das war's dann aber auch... Niemals würde ich hier wieder übernachten. Wer Entspannung und Ruhe sucht ist hier vollkommen falsch: Ununterbrochene Musikbeschallung von morgens bis abends und bis in den frühen Morgen in einer unerträglichen Lautstärke mit unzumutbaren wummernden Bässen (Fr/Sa jeweils bis 2 Uhr 30). Sowohl auf dem Balkon wie auch im Zimmer ist es kaum auszuhalten. Wer Schlaf und Erholung sucht, wird ihn in diesem Hotel kaum finden. Es sei denn, man genießt das "Entertainment-Programm" durch DJ oder Live-Band wie im Hotelflyer beschrieben von 6 Uhr bis 24 Uhr (s. Bild)!

- Jo (10/5): The best - I think this is the best hotel in Kupang. I paid a bit extra for the seaview room (about 70 bucks all up) but well worth it. The rooms are amazing for the price (compared to what we pay in Aus for this quality). Two lovely pools, lots of trees and right on a beautiful beach were all the locals come to play and hang out, so you can go down and meet the Kupang locals who are really the loveliest people. Staff were great, food and room service too. My first time but I will definitely be back. I met so many really nice people. Thank you so much for all you do to make it a great stay. Love your work!!

The consistently exceptional staff were Morida & Nadia when they were at reception -No hand wash soap in bathrooms, expected to use shower gel from shower to wash your hands -Hot shower was very short. Wasn't enough for 2 people to have showers one after another - Breakfast food was very poor standard, mostly dry

Excellent facilities Sometimes the aircons don’t work properly, it’s pretty obviouslypoor preventative maintenance, this has happened before twice and customers shouldn’t have to ask to have it repaired every time.

- Anna (8/5): Great hotel if you are on your way to Rote - I booked Sotis Hotel on my way to Rote and it was perfect. They arranged airport pick up and dropped me off at the ferry the next day. Super helpful on my way back as well because I had to change flight and they helped re-book my booking. Clean hotel, with a lovely pool to hang since Kupang does not have too much to offer in the surrounding neighbourhood. Will be back again.

- David (9/5): Superb - This is probably the best business hotel in Kupang, directly located at the sea. It features a pool, nice outdoor area and direct access to the local beach, which can be (because near the city) a tiny bit on the "dirty side" upon closer look but still is very nice for a little walk. Some facilities (spa, bar in the lobby) were closed during my last stay, probably because of Ramadan.

- Guy (2/5): Avoid this greedy hotel - We had an extremely poor experience staying at this hotel. We accidentally booked twice, and when we tried to contact the hotel via email to let them know and arrange a refund, we received no response. When we arrived we expected them to understand the mistake we’d made and reimburse us for the duplicate booking. But on arrival they outright refused to refund us. The hotel was pretty empty so it’s not like they would have lost out on another booking. The hotel itself wasn’t great - the food was poor, loud music all night and they charged you for playing pool. Unfortunately for Sotis, they don’t know that we own a dive shop in Alor, and many of our clients would normally use them for their overnight stay in Kupang before they fly to Alor. However we’ll be advising all clients to stay well clear and use a different hotel. If the hotel were to contact me to reimburse us for our stay I would reconsider but currently I’m extremely disappointed in the service I’ve received.

The room was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the delicious breakfast each morning and the relaxing ambiance throughout the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great experience. I'll be back for sure! If the restaurant could debit the bills to my room.

- Andrew (5/5): The whole stay was completely spoiled by a management that simply did not care about paying guests. - Breakfast was good and location on the beachfront was also great. There was absolutely no pre warning before I booked, or when I checked in, that the hotel was going to hold a rave party that they called a “Halloween” party. The extremely loud music ( mostly terrible noises) woke me up at 12 midnight when it started and kept me awake until it finished at around 4am. There would have been nowhere in the hotel that you could have escaped it. The hotel management should have had an obligation to their paying guests, instead of trying to making a bit more profit by hold a rave party. The fact that there was absolutely no notice of this until you read the piece of paper placed on the bed is totally unacceptable. I will certainly not be going to stay at this hotel again.

Room, food, pool, the room and the staff are very friendly, make your stay memorable. Restaurant staff Eno (sorry if it's wrong) were excellent! Will stay again for sure
