• Moritz (9/5): Wirklich eine klasse Unterkunft mit einer tollen Preis-/Leistung! - Das Personal war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit. Jeder Wunsch wurde uns erfüllt. Die Häuser sind sehr schön. Die Lage direkt an einem ruhigen Strand ideal. Es könnte etwas mehr Ausstattung vorhanden sein können. Beispielsweise war der Badspiegel auch nicht aufgehängt.

Meerblick direkt aus dem Bett. ;-) Ansprechendes Frühstück, gute und wirklich leckere Küche für Lunch und Dinner. Re-Fill-Wasser unbegrenzt. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Sehr gepflegte Anlage. Ideal für alle, die etwas mehr Abgeschiedenheit und Ruhe suchen. Roller oder Fahrrad empfohlen. Mit Roller alles (Restaurants, Strände, kleine Supermärkte) in max. 8-10 Minuten erreichbar. Wir würden wiederkommen. Wir empfehlen dringend etwas mehr Englisch-Skills für das Personal bitte. Am Ende hat aber alles wunderbar gepasst. :-)

• Daniel (10/5): An unforgettable experience, - We had the most amazing stay here, and I’m so incredibly happy we chose this place. We were celebrating my girlfriend’s 40th birthday, and the staff had beautifully decorated the room with flowers and thoughtful touches. It meant so much to us, and I couldn’t be more grateful. The people working here are absolutely wonderful – kind, attentive, and genuinely caring. The food is extraordinary – without a doubt the best restaurant on the island. Every meal was a highlight. We also rented a golf cart directly from the hotel to explore the island, which was perfect. Scooters are available as well, making it easy and convenient to get around. Thank you for everything. If anyone is unsure about where to stay on Koh Mak – stop searching. This is the place. And if I ever return to Koh Mak, I will 100% stay here again.

• GeDe17 (9/5): Hübsche und gepflegte Anlage - Das Resort besteht aus 12 Villen in 3 Reihen direkt am Strand. Neue und schön gestaltete Häuschen, sauber. Gute Küche, Frühstücksangebot besteht aus 10 bis 12 Wahlmöglichkeiten. Bad mit Dusche und zusätzlich großer Badewanne in einem separaten Raum. Große Terrasse mit 2 Stühlen, Tisch und 2 Liegen. Sehr schöner Blickaufs Meer und die Inseln. Für die thailändischen Inseln normale Preise. Obwohl wir die einzigen Gäste waren stand die Küche mit umfangreichem Angebot immer zur Verfügung. Die Insel ist für Besucher autofrei, ohne gemieteten Roller, 300 THB pro Tag, ist man gebunden. Es gibt auch Golf-Cars zu mieten, 1000 THB pro Tag. Der Zugang zu den Villen der zweiten Reihe ist nur über einen matschigen Weg möglich, es war Regenzeit. Der Strand ist wie viele Strände auf Koh Mak sehr langsam abfallend und kaum zum Schwimmen geeignet. Man muss ca 100 m ins Meer laufen um zu schwimmen. Das Resort hat leider keinen Pool, aber im nebenan gelegenen Resort The Mak konnten wir als Essensgaeste den Pool nutzen. Zum Frühstück wurde leider nur eine Tasse Kaffee serviert. Das tägliche Angebot von einer sichtbar gebrauchten Glasflasche mit nachgefuelltem Wasser mag Oeko- und Nachhaltigkeitsfans beglücken, unser Ding ist es nicht.

We felt very comfortable here - the facilities were very practical and comfy, at the same time the staff were nice and we felt at home. The breakfast and the overall food in the restaurant was excellent. Thank you for this great service and we will be happy to recommend this accommodation to everyone. It was the most beautiful stay we have ever had. Nothing.

Stunning views, Motorbike rental available and food/coffee quality was very good as well. The interior is getting old, especially in the bathroom. Everything looks a bit used. In general, for us it felt a little overpriced for what your are getting.

• Janneke (10/5): Perfect Stay, Stunning Views, Amazing Hospitality! - Our stay at Little Moon Villa for seven nights was absolutely fantastic. The spacious room had a stunning view over the blue sea with beautiful palm trees. The staff were incredibly kind, and the food was delicious, with plenty of vegetarian options—a big plus for us! The cappuccino was excellent, and we loved the option to rent scooters and use the free stand-up paddleboards and kayaks. Another highlight was the amazing massage salon just around the corner, which we visited every day. We truly had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend this hotel! We honestly have no complaints—everything was absolutely fantastic! Our experience at Little Moon Villa was perfect in every way, and we wouldn't change a thing!

• Maria (10/5): Thank you to the Little Moon Team! - Our stay at Little Moon Villa was wonderful. The villas are very spacious and stylish, bed extremely comfortable, overlooking the sea, with a wide terrace. The staff are so very helpful and friendly, they helped us with our transfer, motorbike rent and gave tips about the nice beaches at Koh Mak. The restaurant at the hotel is also very good, with quality coffee in the morning. The sea at the side of Little Moon is not ideal to swim in but we really did not find it problematic, since Koh Mak is very small and very easy to get around by bike/mototbike/golfcar, so we explored the island and were happy to return to this lovely hotel every night. For us it was perfect. One thing for light sleepers - in the morning it might get bright in the room pretty early due to a glass wall above the curtains. We did not mind it but good to know if you find it important.

Welcoming and cheerful staff and there was always someone with excellent English to provide advice or make bookings. A bit pricey. While we were there (late Nov.) the wind was from the north so the sea was choppy and the water was murky...a pool would have been useful. The staff suggested resorts on the other side of the island where the water was calm and clear and there was no charge for visiting... an inconvenience since we rented a scooter to get around.

• Genevieve (9/5): Beautiful rooms and gorgeous views - Gorgeous property! The view of the ocean from our room was stunning. The room was spacious, clean and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful with things like booking a snorkeling excursion and the ferries. Breakfast was good. Only downside was that there is a big hill and long, unlit road to the property, so unless you’re eating dinner at the property, you need a bike or taxi to comfortably go to even the closest restaurants.

• Debbie (10/5): Beautiful place. - We have just spent the most amazing ten days at this resort which must be one of the best on the island judging by all the visitors it receives. Our bungalow was massive with a separate bath area and then shower area plus a lovely large veranda with chairs and sun beds. The accommodation was spotless, attractive, spacious and serviced every morning. The bed was very large, efficient air con and very well appointed and maintained. The beach and grounds were very well maintained and attractive with a shower, sun beds and kayaks. The restaurant was excellent with a great choice of breakfast, everything you could possibly wish for and throughout the day it received many visitors for lunch as it has such a good reputation. We ate here every evening also as there was so much excellent choice and quality exceptional. The real secret to this place in my opinion though is the truly wonderful staff who were so friendly and fun to be with. The power house really is a charming lady called Jill who can fix or arrange or advise on anything you need. She arranged scooters and in house massages for us which was amazing and all transportation or trips can be arranged with her. It really was all the lovely staff that made our ten days so special and we would thoroughly recommend this place, this was our fourth Koh Mak visit but our first to this place and will remain our accommodation of choice in the future. Nothing

• Louise (9/5): Peaceful retreat, great food and service. - Beautiful villa with a lovely view out to sea. Clean, spacious and with a really comfortable bed. The staff and food were both excellent. We were able to hire a scooter which was useful to get round the island, which is well worth exploring. Big windows are brilliant, but some way of making them one-way would be even better! No plug/USB by bed (but who needs tech in such a lovely place). When the tide is out, it’s out and the property doesn’t have a swimming pool, so you just have to walk 5 mins to where the beach meets the sea.

Breakfast was outstanding and all other meals we ate at the resort were freshly prepared and really authentic. The resort was so pretty and the view breathtaking. Nothing really. The only thing missing was a pool, but we knew that when we booked so went for walks on the beach instead. For those who wish to explore, you can rent bikes to get around.

• Michael (8/5): Great little stay at Little Moon - Lovely views from our villa of the sea. We loved the restaurant here! The coffee and food was absolutely delicious, with a huge menu. Super easy to rent a scooter and go around the island from here. Restaurant team were fantastic. Pickup/dropoff at port was perfect. The room was beautiful but furniture/layout could be improved. Room didn't have super comfortable seating. There is ample room for a sofa/daybed for reading a book; the ratan chairs in the room are not super comfortable. No charger near the bed. A small paper with a few recommendations for where to explore on the island would have also been a nice touch to get started when we arrived. Finally, the breakfast menu doesn't include things that are on the normal menu, like avocado toast etc. Would recommend adding a few more items like this for variety since the restaurant has so many great options.
• Ivan (10/5): Probably the best hotel I've ever visited in Thailand or elsewhere - That might just be the best hotel I've ever stayed at in my life. It's a family owned and operated resort with just 11 villas. It was completely rebuilt a few years ago and as far as I understand that's why the rating is not solid 10. There are still old reviews, but new facilities deserve nothing except a full 10. Villas are huge, like really huge and so very well designed. View is amazing and since they're located on the hill the row in front doesn't block the view and no one can see you in your room. Air conditioner is quiet and is perfectly clean without any bad smell. Water is hot and pressure is very good. They rake the beach non stop from morning to night so there's absolutely zero sandflies. We were spending most of the time at the resort's beach because it's also quite beautiful with the view on other islands and they built bamboo structures to provide shadow at any time of the day if you get tired of the sun. You can also take free paddle boards and kayaks at the hotel and they rent out scooters for the usual price. But one of the best parts is the restaurant. I don't think there's any other place on the whole island which can compare in terms of flavors and freshness of seafood. Every single dish we tried was simply perfect. Most of the staff speaks English and they really know how to run the place, we never had to wait for anything and none of the requests were ever forgotten or messed up.

Also the restaurant is very nice! there is a very sereen and cool atmosphere with a great and very sweet Little Moon team, lovely food, the best coffee and matcha and fantastic music in the background! Hope to get the spotify playlist! it would be nice to have a swimmingpool! but there is really nothing to complain about

More expensive than most places but a cut above also so good to experience something different. The beach right in front of the hotel is immaculate. It would be great to have a blitz on clearing the rubbish a little further along too.
• Daniel (10/5): We had a wonderful stay! - Little Moon Villa is a true gem on Koh Mak! The Villas are very spacious and have very modern appeal. They have fantastic views over the sea. A well maintained garden stretches in front of the villas and sets the mind at ease. Staff is very welcoming and very friendly. the restaurant is the perfect place to sit even when it is very hot. always a cool breeze. Food in the restaurant was excellent! We enjoyed best Thai dishes and salads Please try the Cappuccino! Breakfast is also very good, and a nice choice of muffins and cakes are there to enjoy. The whole place is very well looked after and clean. The sea is turquoise and serene. Thanks so much Little Moon, we will come back for sure.

• Valentine (10/5): Amazing, intimate and very nice people! - Little Moon Villa is a great place to go. It's intimate and after a few days you know all the faces of the staff and everyone is extremely friendly. Every day the houses are cleaned up, new towels, beds are made. Choice at breakfast is really delicious, they also have croissants or other such things that you can order extra (for a small fee). We rented the scooter from the hotel every day to make trips around the island. At the end of the afternoon we came back to the hotel for diner. The food is very tasty! I could easily stay here for 3 weeks. The houses are clean, the bed is very good. The view when you wake up in the morning is amazing and gives so much peace. We were woken up very early every morning by the light because the upper part of the glass has no curtains. We didn't find this a problem at all because you wake up in a very natural way. It was actually very nice! Because the resort is still so new, it still has some small things that need to be finished. You can also see that here and there in the houses. Because it is such a small island, we have mainly been on an adventure to other places. We have not been on the beach at the hotel because the type of beach is not the most beautiful on the island. But you are already at other beautiful beaches with 7min scooter. It is simply a great beautiful place, Jill who helped us every day was really sweet. If we ever come back I only want to go to this place on koh mak!! Nothing!
• Simon (10/5): The perfect Villa to relax in and explore Koh Mak - We absolutely loved our stay at Little Moon Villa! We stayed over Christmas as part of our honeymoon. The sea view villa was just as good if not better than the photos. We stayed in various places during our honeymoon but this was the most spacious and relaxing. Opening the curtains to the sea view every morning was incredible. Thanks to Jill and all the staff for making us feel so welcome and for looking after us - arranged collection and taxi/boat departure at cost before waving us off with smiles on their faces :-). There are also onsite scooters you can rent to explore the island. The onsite food was excellent, great breakfast, and we enjoyed a 6 course Xmas eve meal on the beach which was really special.
