• Irina (10/5): - Пляж в 5 минутах ходьбы, для нас это не было проблемой. Рядом есть кафешки, торговцы фруктами и прочее. Большой и чистый бассейн, много лежаков. Очень красивая растительность на территории отеля. При бронировании у нас не были включены завтраки, а по факту они были - это было приятным бонусом. Через отель брали байки в аренду, экскурсию на снорклинг и трансфер до аэропорта Бангкока. Цены были дешевле, чем в других местах. Мебель в номерах уже немного "уставшая", но за такие деньги нам это никак не мешало. Убирались в номерах постоянно, за что спасибо персоналу. P.S: меняйте деньги на материке с запасом, т.к. на острове очень плохой курс в обменниках. А в банке без тайского паспорта нам отказались менять деньги, хотя в Бангкоке по загранпаспорту спокойно это сделали.
• Irina (10/5): Отель очень хороший, персонал дружелюбный, но номера требуют ремонта. - Расположение отеля, все рядом, территория зеленая чистая, очень много всяких разных птиц поют по утрам, бассейн большой чистый! Номера конечно хромают пора делать ремонт, в целом все хорошо 👌
• Mikhail (2/5): - 3 звезды для этого отеля сильно завышено. Понравилось в этом отеле только одно, наличие самого хорошего ресторана в двух шагах от отеля. Расположение отеля не очень, домики прям сильно замызганные, отсутствует в номере чайник, элементарно нет даже кружек и каких то тарелочек, приходилось просить на ресепшен. В ванной постоянно стоит вода, не правильно сделан слив. В номере нет элементано какой то зоны для работы или просто посидеть попить чай. Освещение в номере сделано на отьебхххсь. Но выше всяких похвал это одеяло, доставшееся видимо от пробабки и зомотанное в какую то простынь, даже не в пододеяльник. Персонал на мой взгляд, 50/50 это значит половина нормальные половина какие то поххххсты, как то вечером хотел попить кофе, зажопили! Сказали что нету. Рядом жили Фашисты прям мерзкие типы, тайцы прям скакали вокруг них, очень не приятно. Странное у них отношение к посетителям, как то при посещении бассейна который работает до 20 часов эти умницы в кавычках конечно же, видя, что плавают люди, начали сыпать химозу, ну прям реальные дебилы. В этот прекрасный отель в котором я снимал сразу 2 номера на неделю, я больше никогда не приеду. Ну и своим друзьям и знакомым его точно не посоветую. Негативный опыт тоже опыт, сильно не расстроен, но осадок остался.
• Irina (10/5): - Впервые посетили отель в декабре 2024 года, все понравилось, поэтому повторно забронировали номер в январе 2026 года. По прибытии в отель выяснилось, что размещение невозможно, т.к. в номере техническая неисправность. В этой нестандартной ситуации - огромная благодарность менеджерам отеля за заботу о клиентах. Нам подобрали номер в другом отеле, даже более дорогом, отвезли, разместили. Спасибо!

Location great, with only 10 min walk to beach, 7 11, pharmacy and fruit stand nearby. Shower head did not stay in place so had to use by hand, many tiles on bottom of pool broken, hubby cut his foot. Rooms were dated a few maintenance issues needed.

• Esther (4/5): Dissappinting and not for families - This hotel has so much potential but sadly was very disappointing. It is located in the jungle and the grounds are beautiful but poorly maintained. Breakfast was ok when included with the price but I would go somewhere else down the road rather than pay extra. On arrival we were told the family room (x2 double beds) that we had booked was no longer available. They offered us 2 regular rooms next to each other which we accepted (we didn't have much choice). There are large gaps in the door frames which means there are insects in the rooms and in our case a large gecko (atleast 40cm long) which was very noisy and kept us awake. When we told the staff about it they didn't even acknowledge it or offer to remove it. It was living behind the wardrobe. This meant we ended up all sharing one double room. When a family room did become available they tried to charge us more than the price on booking.com saying that it was an error. Other negatives were that the pool and grounds were poorly maintained. The pool was filthy and had loose and missing tiles which could easily cause an injury. There were old broken plastic deck chairs which had been discarded into the surrounding jungle. There was a pile of rubbish between our room and the pool which was not removed for the 4 nights that we stayed there. There were two male staff that seemed to be running the hotel. One of them was friendly and the other was rude and uninterested. Other thing to note is that there are multiple red light bars next to the hotel which meant there was a certain type of clientele at the hotel and I would not recommend it for families. I felt uncomfortable having my teenage daughter at the pool.

• Marta (8/5): Very good - The garden was beautiful and very relaxing. Staff were able to help us with renting a motorbike on site which was really convenient. Close to the beach, bars and shops. Short walk away from the "main" are of the village. The pool is really big. The hotel is a little dated and could be looked after or renewed but that didn't have a big impact on our stay.

Lots of choice for breakfast, cheap scooter rental (we had a brand new scooter), we even bought our transport back to Bangkok with them and it was the cheaper we found on the island. Ideal location 5 min walk to the best sunset beach, 10 minutes drive to white sand beach area and 10 minutes drive to lonely beach. Lots of restaurant in the area. We would stay there again.

• 576rebekar (10/5): Great for families - Super friendly staff, big swimming pool, gardenlike ambient. Breakfast in open restaurant. They offer 6 menus for breakfast. We were staying in bungalow with 2 beds, bathroom and balcony near the pool. The room is small, but big enough for us though. We didn't hear any music from bar across the street nor the traffic. They have information desk near the "entrance", you can rent a motor, sign up for massage...they offer many different tours and trips at information desk. We liked our stay there!

På kvällen är det fest utmed gatan till inpå småtimmarna även på veckorna vilket medför att det kan vara svårt att sova. ( hade ändå öronproppar ) Frukosten är väldigt enkel .ok Om man beställer mat på hotellets restaurang är maten jättegod. Sängarna var väldigt hårda. Man kan köpa olika upplevelse resor i hotellets reception , vi köpte en halvdags snorklings tur till fyra öar med speedboat vilket jag kan rekommendera . Wi-fi var väldigt strulig.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Wunderschöner Urlaub - Waren schon das 2te mal in dieser Anlage. Sie liegt wunderbar. Und mit einem Roller kann man die ganze Insel erkunden. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle super freundlich und stets bemüht. Die Zimmer müssten allerdings mal renoviert werden.

• Karin (8/5): Nettes gutes Hotel - Gutes Hotel mit bemühten Personal. Frühstück ist überschaubar, aber dafür gibt's ja überall garküchen um etwas Abwechslung zu haben. Scooter werden an der Rezeption vermietet, Helme sind sehr einfach, Fahrzeuge in gutem Zustand und Preis dafür ok. Pool ist sehr schön, gibt täglich extra Poolhandtücher (sind zwar etwas ausgefranst, aber sauber). Sicher gibt es deutlich bessere und teurere Anlagen, aber für mich völlig ausreichend. Habe mich dort wohl gefühlt und würde wieder dort übernachten.

• Andy255350 (10/5): Great Hotel for family and pleasent Friendly Staff - We stayed at this hotel because we had limited choices for available family rooms on our budget. Myself, my wife son and daughter shared a nice room with 2 twin sized beds. The hotel is surrounded by nice gardens and has a swimming pool which was quiet and perfect for the kid to play in. We drove to Koh Chang which also played a part in choosing this hotel as its perfectly situated in the middle.. not too far either way from which ever end of the island we wanted to explore and they had lots of space for parking with no hassle. The staff were always friendly and pleasant and said hello which goes a long way with me. Great Stay, will certainly go back again.

La plage est préservé car les jet skis et autres bateaux de plaisance sont interdits.la la végétation également car le terrain appartient à l'armée le rendant inconstructible. Pas de développement immobilier tout azimut. Je conseille pour clore une visite de la Thaïlande, décompresser et se reposer avant le retour. Attention scooter indispensable car l'hôtel est assez excentré
• reijarahikainen (2/5): DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL - Hotel staff is arrogant,rude and mean! Dangerous pool, sharp places in the water. Terrible room smelled mold, safety box broken and door locks dosen't work well. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DON'T GO THERE IF YOU DON'T WANT TROUBLES.
• Dean (8/5): Second Visit - Good !!! - Our second time at this resort .... same as before, clean, friendly and a good location. Not next to the beach so you will need to walk a little or get a taxi. You need to check out the King Pizza opposite, best pizza we have ever had (and my friend agrees) We went for the CHIEF pizza .... awesome !! Swimming pool is good, but water is very warm, so don't expect to cool off lol Would we stay again .... YES without doubt
• 75markkur (2/5): Avoid this place! - Dangerous pool, there were sharp edges on bottom of pool and they still keep it open without fixing it! For us it meant multiple doctor visits with our smallest kid. And no swimming in mone month. We changed hotel after that accident. First time ever I saw rude and arrogant behaviour from Thai personnel there. They acted like that accident was our fault. Also safety box was not working and rooms smelled bad. Avoid this, worst Hotel in Ko Chang.
• stanislavg14 (6/5): Oh dear - Oh dear, sadly I can't say anything good about Garden Hill. I am not fond of living with insects, but the rooms are stuffed with them: ants, cockroaches and other little beasts lol. It happens partly, because the buildings are very old and have cracks and little holes . The staff don't care much about it, suppose they are used to it. Secondly, about breakfast. I am not very fussy person but.. There is almost no choice. It is not a buffet. They give you a menu and one has the option to fetch a sausage one kind or another, and scrambled eggs or fried ones. On the top they give you two toasts and one butter and one jam lol. I was suspicious about eggs, it looked as if it wasn't natural ( you know, in South Asia they manufacture artificial eggs ) the taste of yolk wasn't nice, so I tried it only once. Err, they've got no cornflakes for kids, it really pissed me off, you know it is pretty basic. On the bright side it is not too far from the beach ( about 300-400 metres), though it is a walk along dodgy road. The beach itself is very pleasant, clean, there are hardly any stones or sharp shells. All in all a good place to stay with kids, if you don't mind what I mentioned above. PS Ahh, our little friend, gecko, called in few times to sort out insects, the only price for that is lots of his pooings on the walls , lol.

• shantic2018 (6/5): Comfortable enough - Nothing spectacular, but comfortable enough. Rooms were clean, AC worked, water pressure was good. Staff werent all that friendly and the breakfast was sub par. On a good note, theres an excellent Thai coffee place right across the street, and a fantastic pizza joint (pizza king) owned by a friendly German who imports his ingredients from Italy. Location in general is good and motorbike rentals are cheap from the hotel desk. Laundry service lost some of our items, but the front desk agreed to pay for part of the lost goods. Suggest you get your own laundry done right down the street.

Das Personal ist nett , beim Frühstück kann Mann zwischen Eiern in verschiedenen Variationen wählen oder Müsli,Cornflakes. Dazu eine Teller Obst, tee und Café nimmt Mann sich soviel Mann möchte selber .

Across highway is a strip of dingy bars so first impression not good. Breakfast very basic but great service. Problems in room (eg an a/c unit that was "raining") were very promptly fixed.
• Geoffrey (8/5): Great Pizzas across the road from reception. - A typical bungalow style hotelwith reception and restaurant at the front and bungalows behind. The grounds are well maintained and highlighted by a large pool. The bungalows are basic but practical with ok beds and walk- in showers. The furniture is ageing, the TVs are old, and the balconies are small with no table. Their breakfast is basic and a bit bland. The staff are friendly and the property has lots of car park space. I found the place very easy-going and would consider returning but if you are looking for luxury and frills this may not be for you.
