• Maria (10/5): - Emilia and Maria took great care of everything we needed throughout our stay. Emilia welcomed us warmly upon arrival and explained everything clearly. We stayed in the Green Room on the first floor, which was spotless, bright, and very comfortable. Every time we returned to the room, it had been cleaned and refreshed beautifully. The included breakfast was a wonderful bonus, with everything you need to start the day in a positive way. Having private parking on the property was also extremely convenient, especially because the roads in the area are narrow and parking nearby is limited. The bus stop is only a 2-minute walk away and provides easy access to the centre of Sorrento. Emilia also gave us valuable advice and recommendations that saved us a lot of time and hassle during our trip. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again one day.
• Silvana (9/5): Magnifica estancia para conocer Sorrento, Amalfi, Capri y la costa Amalfitana. - Perfecta estancia en Il Palmento Relais, la habitación muy espaciosa para cuatro personas con una estancia con mesa y sillas, terraza y vista. El desayuno está muy bueno y el personal super amable. Lo mejor es que tiene estacionamiento gratuito y la caminata a la estación de tren para Sorrento y la Costa Amalfitana está muy cerca. Como en toda Italia el checkout es muy temprano!

• ANKIT VINEETKUMAR (10/5): - The owner Emilia was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very big, clean, and full of sunlight. The breakfast was good with muffins, omelet, bruchetta, fruit-juice, fresh fruits, croissant, cappuccino, hot-chocolate, etc. And the kitchen-host Maria is a lovely person. We never saw the cleaning staff in 7 days but every evening when we return to hotel, the room was perfectly cleaned and arranged. The hotel is just 100 meters away from the bus stop which is very convenient if you are traveling by public transport. A Supermarket is also just 50 meters away.

• Lucinda (10/5): Fabulous place - This is such a charming place to stay. The rooms are delightful, the staff are all so lovely, kind and attentive to every detail. We were early and asked if we could leave our bags and were shown straight to our room. The location is great for exploring Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast and Capri - the bus stop is just at the end of the road, but we walked to Sorrento most days. There are lots of very good places to eat in Piano as well as the hotel restaurant. Highly recommend staying here. The bed was a bit firm for me, but that's just personal choice.

• Pedro (10/5): The rooms are huge, everything is clean and well finished. The restaurant of the place is great too - First of all, if you go to visit Amalfi Coast, just stay in Sorrento. Other than that the place was perfect, walking distance of a good market, the room had a huge size and what can i say about the breakfast.... Perfect. Other than that Emilia was so sweet and helpfull i cant put into words. Overall great place to stay if you are going by car to the area. You need to walk a bit more than expected, or have a car/motorcycle/bus/taxi to go downtown
• David (10/5): - I did a week Birthday trip to the Amalfi coast and Sorrento was my first stop during my trip. Emilia was super helpful and made my stay very comfortable, easy and convenient. Check- in was quick and simple. She setup the Vespa rentals for me and my sister, got us booked on a private Boat day tour to Capri, and had our transportation set when we left to head to Amalfi. The location is convenient. Right down the hill from the hotel you can catch the bus to Sorrento which is only like a 5 minute ride to the center or you can walk to the train station which is only about a 10 minute walk but we mainly took the bus because it was closer and quicker honestly. Bus was only 1.50 euros per person and yes, you can pay the driver when you step on the bus and he will give you change if you have larger bills. Definitely will be staying here again if I’m back in Sorrento 10/10
• Daniel (10/5): - We had a wonderful 3 night stay at the Il Palmento Relais. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good each day. The area is nice and quiet just outside of Sorrento without the high prices. We will definitely be back. We also ate at the restaurant on two nights and both nights it was excellent. Guests receive a 10% discount at the restaurant so it's definitely worth trying.
• Wendy (10/5): Really helpful staff and highly recommend if you’re reasonably fit and able. - Really friendly, very helpful and were able assist with a small room adjustment when we arrived from double to singles which took no time at all to change. Room was good, comfortable beds, air-con, fridge with water etc which is paid for at end of your stay. TV and safety deposit box in room. Bathroom very adequate with some toiletries if required. Breakfast was downstairs and can be served inside if weather not so good. Emilia helped with recommendations I.e. where the nearest beach was and also told us the direction of the local street market held on a Monday. Quite a bit of traffic passes by therefore road noise outside can be a bit loud at night. No lift in property. Stairs to reach all rooms and they have a couple of spiral turns which can be quite precarious when carrying suitcases and bags.

• Luciano (10/5): - We had a wonderful memorable stay. We stayed for 10 days and room was kept clean everyday. From the moment we arrived we were thoroughly assisted, even went out of her way to contact someone at the airport since we had lost a cellphone which we eventually found back at the airport thankfully due to some honest people in Italy. The grounds are small but beautifully maintained and restaurant had delicious food. Only thing I’d say is if you want to take the bus to Positano or Amalfi, you are better off walking 15 minutes to train station a few stops to Sorrento where the first stop of buses heading there are and buy 2 way tickets, since fully packed buses won’t stop in the area of Piano di Sorrento and make sure to have internet access on your phone to use google maps.

• Lorena (4/5): - Quiero manifestar mi insatisfacción con la experiencia vivida durante mi estadía en su establecimiento, realizada entre los días 6 de julio 2025 y 9 de julio 2025, en el hotel II Palmento Relais. Desde el inicio de mi visita se presentaron diversos inconvenientes que afectaron significativamente mi confort y bienestar. Entre los problemas más relevantes se encuentran: No se encuentra el personal para recibirte a tu llegada y poder hacer tu check in , como en cualquier otro hotel.ademas de no contar con elevador y tener que subir nuestras propias maletas, ya que no tienen personal que te ayude, siendo varias las escaleras, pésimo trato. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba adecuadamente, hacia mucho ruido. Para ir a Sorrento,requieres taxi y no es tan fácil conseguir, Emilia solo te pasa el contacto de una persona y ya tu tendrás que ver si lo consigues o no, en nuestro caso tuvimos que caminar para bajar a Sorrento y veníamos con mi mama de 75 años. El servicio de atención al cliente fue poco cordial y no ofreció soluciones efectivas. Se me prometió un servicio con vista al jardín con el cual no cuenta el hotel. Considero que estos hechos no se corresponden con el nivel de calidad y servicio que ustedes promocionan ni con lo que se espera al pagar por una estadía en su establecimiento. Parking also on site. Massive rooftop terrace. Handy restaurant down stairs Blue room is up a couple of narrow stair cases - a note for those with big luggages. Traffic noise can be heard, so wear ear plugs.

At first, I discovered it wasn’t right in Sorrento (it looked closer on the map than it really is), but is 2 “towns” over, totally my fault, but then once I headed into Sorrento proper and it was sooo crowded, I was happy to be in a little quieter locale. The service was fantastic, from the proprietor herself to the morning breakfast person and the evening restaurant waitstaff. The place was spotless and cleaned every day. I didn’t realize I had a huge terrace off my room. There is no elevator, but Emilia was super helpful to carry one of my bags up. I’d def stay agai. If I came back.

• Mandy (10/5): Great place, very clean, very friendly, welcoming, and private - Loved our stay here! The room had plenty of space with its own private balcony. The breakfast Maria prepared for us each morning was fantastic and very welcoming. Emilia was also great and very helpful with advice on how to get around. It was easy to reach different destinations either by bus (a stop only a few minutes away) or the train 10-15 minutes walk. We managed to do Path of the Gods (Bomerano to Positano), sorrento, Bagni Regina Giovanna via public transport. We also booked a private boat tour with hotel pick-up to explore the Amalfi Coast. I felt safe walking around (I was a little nervous with the traffic at first, but once you know where you're going and the general flow of traffic, I generally felt safe to walk around and explore). Wished we stayed a longer and explored even more. The beds were a little harder than what i am used to, but I still loved my stay.

• Kelley (9/5): Highly recommend this quaint B&B! - Emilia was a wonderful host and was really great to deal with. The room was extremely spacious and very clean with a nice outdoor space. Breakfast was available every day and we were able to sit outside on a pretty patio. The part of Sorrento where this hotel is located is two quick train stops from the downtown. We enjoyed the fact that it is removed from the really congested part of Sorrento and provided a quiet, relaxed resting place after busy days of site seeing. The restaurant on property is outstanding and the staff was great!

When we arrived she explained everything to us about the property, and gave us many tips regarding the places to visit. The breakfast is AMAZING! Plus: when staying in the property we have a very nice parking spot in Sorrento city center, which was really handy to us. Stunning view from the upper room. Will for sure come back to the place and recommend it to anyone going to Sorrento! The airconditionair was not working properly, so worth it checking it.

• David (8/5): Clean, comfortable and very friendly. - Lovely place to stay, it was a short drive from Sorrento so having a car for the stay was definitely necessary. Parking was free and made better by having a location, provided by the hotel to park in Sorrento town centre for free too. The accommodation was clean and well decorated.

Housekeeping came every day. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good! Our room was next to a busy road, so would ask for a more quiet place next time. In the village itself was not a lot to do, so you need a car or scooter.
• David (9/5): Great place, great location, great food. - Clean, tidy, modern. Piano is a smaller town/village compared to Sorrento but has a few good quality restaurants (one is just downstairs). Nothing. Being a small town, Piano has a taxi problem so book well in advance. The staff were very helpful generally (though needed prompting with this one thing).

She provided us with a detailed map of the area and marked down transit spots. She was very responsive over Whatsapp and over booking.com. Conveniently placed next to a store/market with good hours. Close to transit. There is also a restaurant built into the hotel/apartments. Just a touch out of town, but transit is great.

• Deborah (10/5): All aspects of stay were wonderful, especially the included breakfast and location. - We really liked every aspect of our stay. The staff was so helpful and went out of their way to help accommodate our early morning ferry ride to Capri. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Can't think of a thing.

• Rositsa (10/5): Exeptional modern looking place with AMAZING staff! - Our stay was excellent the room was modern, clean with very high arched ceilings with amazing bathroom. The breakfast was great and the lady who prepared our breakfast was very kind. We enjoyed every second of our stay and we highly recommend this place for your stay. Also the lady at the reception was AMAZING! She was extremely kind, helpful and smiling the whole time. She provided us all the information needed for places to visit and transportation. Thank you!
