- Aracely (2/5): Horrible. - The sheets were visibly dirty and old. We found a corn remover stuck to the bottom of the blanket. Also a glob of hair in the shower along with hair on the floor and the other beds sheets. Spider web in the lamp and the the ac unit smelled like urine when turned on. Not to mention the beds aren’t even beds really just a hard mattress with a topper on it.

- Denise (10/5): - We were passing through on a road trip, and we only stayed one night, but I wish I had longer to stay in the area. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Our arrival was a little later than we thought we would be due to bad weather. They left the key in the room for us, which was very nice and convenient for checking in after 9pm. The room was clean and tidy, beds were very comfortable and the place has great character. Had a nice quiet morning sitting on the porch chairs outside the room which was a very nice way to start the morning before heading out on the road again.
- Leanna (2/5): - I selected this hotel because the website said it was a 15 minute walk to the lake. When I arrived and asked the front desk staff about the path to the lake, she said there was no walking path and that the roads did not have sidewalks and were curvy. She said it was not safe to walk on the roads to the lake. When I called hotel.com’s customer service, they said it was “walk at your own risk.” The blinds on the windows were very cheap and let a lot of outside light in. There were bright lights outside near both windows, so the room was never really dark for sleeping. The bathroom shower did not have a light in it. The shower curtain was dark, so it didn’t let the light from the bathroom into the shower area. Would not stay here again.

- Jennifer (8/5): Cute Perfect Little Cabin for our stay. - The room was perfect for what we needed. We were in town for Murray State Family weekend, and there were no hotels available in Murray. This was only a 20 minute drive away. It’s close to Kentucky Lake. We drove through the Bison and Elk Prairie. The motel is older but it’s been renovated and is very clean. We loved having the kitchen to be able to eat a couple meals there and save some money from eating out. We didn’t get to use the pool because it was too cool, but it was beautiful and clean.

- Daniel (10/5): - This is a beautiful little hotel. The room felt recently renovated and was perfectly clean and nice. The bathtub was really deep, which I particularly liked, being a big guy. Everything was just super nice and I was able to back my Jeep right up by the door to our room. If the weather had been nice, we could have walked to the Fishin' Pond restaurant across the street. It's location is perfect for all the recreation opportunities at Land Between the Lakes. We were there for the Turkey Bay ORV area and to explore. Best of all, the price was an outstanding value. It was probably the best value I have had with a hotel in many years.

- Elizabeth (1/5): It was awful!!!!!!!! - breakfast was NOT served. The room was so small, we couldn't even close the tiny bathroom door due to the bed blocking the door. The TV channels were Unavailable due to NOT having a password. The sheets on the bed were stiff and rough. Very uncomfortable. I will always go with a chain motel in the future. They have a telephone in the room where you can at least call the office and complain. Do not stay at this motel. The glowing reviews I read lied. See above.

- Shelby (10/5): Definitely stay here! - Booked it 20 minutes before we arrived, and when we got there the owner/employee/whoever was just coming out of our room after leaving the key and receipt in there (unlocked, of course). He offered us more blankets and help setting up the pull-out couch. He was SO nice! And our room had 3 queens and a couch, so could have slept 8! My kids were all happy to have their own beds. And the price was CHEAP. It was so clean and comfortable that I wished we were staying longer! If we ever come to this area again we will for sure!

Shawn and family,who still operating the Motel, work their tail"s off to please their guest. I even remember being in the pool and watching Shaun installing alot of the camera 's around the location.
