There were many matters that could have been handled in adva - The staff were polite and cooperative, shortages were resolved promptly, and they were responsive. The management made a sincere effort to ensure our satisfaction. There was a noise issue on the second night that lasted until 3 AM. After I went to the reception and the night-shift staff came to warn the neighboring unit, we managed to get only a short sleep before a long 7-hour trip, which was not pleasant.

- Khadija (6/5): Comfortable stay, but cleanliness needs improvement - Rooms were spacious for a family of 4. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There’s a 5 mins walk through the hotel to carrefour (supermarket) which is very good for groceries for my children. The rooms weren’t very clean. There were dead mosquitos squashed all over ceilings and walls. The kitchen didn’t seem very clean at all. The microwave was dirty. The AC gave off a sewage smell.

- mossupp (8/5): Basic but done well - Massive, clean, and spacious apartments with basic amenities that are thoughtfully done. The staff are consistently polite, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast options are limited but adequate. The resort feels very quiet in terms of overnight guests, though the pool area is popular with daytime visitors. The private beach is a real highlight—beautifully maintained and far better than the one at the nearby Four Seasons.

- Derrick (10/5): - The suites were perfect for my family of 5, it had three separate rooms & bathrooms, with a bunch of space and a kitchen. The area had everything you need, pool heated indoor and an outdoor pool. Gym, spa, restaurant. Straight path to the beach and a mall with a grocery store within walking distance. I mean a 3 minute walk not far at all. The manager was excellent and we should have talked to him the first day because he knew all the places to go. We will visit again and plan to get to the desert.

- Graham (6/5): - The positives: very kind and friendly staff, well maintained gardens, clean bedrooms and tidy environment. Pleasant and well maintained path to the private beach. Good VFM. The negatives: in October none of the bar area is open after 6pm, no food available other than going into the main Carthage Thalasso hotel. It isn’t immediately clear that you can use the Carthage Thalasso facilities, that should be much more easily found. The main indoor pool area is quite tired, with a roof that leaks in the rain. The main negative is the kitchen. It’s sold as self catering apartments but the kitchen is poorly equipped. We were in a suite meant to have a double bed and a sofa bed (which wasn’t a sofa bed- more on that later); so should theoretically sleep 4 and that was how it was described. However, the kitchen equipment consisted of 2 forks, 2 knives, 2 dessert spoons, 2 small cups and saucers, 2 small tumblers, 2 small plates and 2 small dinner plates. There was no cooking utensils. There was one ancient and grubby cooking pot and one frying pan with a very wobbly handle. To be fair the fridge and freezer were new and very clean. The bed situation was odd. As mentioned it was sold as “with sofa bed”- and there was a sofa where the back cushions could be taken off to make a bed. But we had to ask for extra bedding. In the general area: There’s no public transport though there are readily available taxis. The next door Carrefour supermarket is very well stocked and handy.

The hotel restaurant needs some work. The food was mediocre at best. There is a sewage smell that sometimes enters the suites/apartments and that can be overwhelming. The sauna was not up to expectations.

- Mountains (9/5): We really liked this resort! The manager personally welcomed us, asked if there was anything else we needed, and he had - The heated pool was so warm, we didn't even need to use the hot tubs! We also liked being able to swim from inside to outside to enjoy the sunshine. The fitness center had decent treadmills and good assortment of weight machines. Property was kept up excellent compared to a lot of other places we've seen in Tunis area. They were re-grouting one of the outdoor pools, and making a new cabana down by the beach. Seems that they are trying to maintain the hotel to best serve their guests. They had a lot of staff working, all were very friendly/helpful that we encountered. The breakfast had a lot of food, but it just wasn't our preference. Granted we are Americans in Tunisia so I don't expect there to be anything except what is customary for Tunisians!!! After one breakfast, we felt the price was a bit high compared to the amount of food we ate, so decided to go elsewhere the other days.

- Alaedeen (4/5): Unfortunate stay but I'll definitely try it again - My experience with this hotel was as I mentioned earlier But to be honest once I was checking out I've been called by the management of the hotel Mr Amen was a very nice guy He apologized about the inconvenience events that I had Plus he offered me a compensation to show the apology of the residence management Apology accepted And thank you Mr Amen for caring about your client There was a party in the property at late night and it was loud I couldn't get to sleep Easley( It was explained by the management these parties were not inside the hotel, it was near by clubs) The room needed more cleaning Strange insects inside the room The price is over compared with other options available at other places

- Emily (6/5): The staff were always very kind & hospitable, it was perhaps just a tough time of year to go to this resort when eve - the kids especially enjoyed the indoor pool as it was too cold to swim outside. we also appreciated the quiet & calm of the appartement and the huge amount of space of the rooms inside. the wifi was also pretty good and dependable. first of all, the room was absolutely freezing despite us putting the thermostat at full temperature. we finally called about this on our last night and they brought an external heating unit , but which could only heat one room at a time. We were very short on towels, even though we had called to ask for more. The room was not up to the standards of cleanliness we heard about (dirty kitchen, hair and dirt on bathroom floors, shortage of toilet paper, room service sitting outside our door for 2-3 days until I finally called to have it removed). we had a kitchen, but there was very little silverware, so we couldn’t really use it for eating - even with the room service they did not bring utensils. Because it was Ramadan or perhaps the time of year meant that it was not easy to find meals elsewhere in the hotel so we had wanted to prepare some of our own meals. there was only 1 restaurant open and we thought the prices for room service were too high for what we received.

I appreciated that when requested services the whole team will communicate the request at once. Invironment was couzy and fun, not far from interesting places to visit, and quite at the same time. - Nazar1969 (10/5): Far The Best Stay - We just returned from a one week trip to Tunis and the best word to describe it is EXCELLENT!!! We traveled March 31-April 2 2018. All the staff were very, very friendly...very helpful...very professional. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The food was totally awesome everywhere we ate. The waiters were exceptional...polite and attentive in every way. The entertainment was great every night. There are numerous activities if one wishes to indulge. There is complete tranquility if one wishes just to relax around the pool. The landscaping is beautifully maintained as is the entire ecological area. Too long a list to describe all the pros. Take our word for it....you will not regret it. It was by far the best resort we have ever been to and would recommend it very highly. Special thanks to Mr. Mutta Alla and all his staff.
