Lorena (8/5): It’s an ok hotel - The hotel staff was helpful and nice during our stay. They answered all of our questions and accommodated our late checkout request. The hotel itself hasn’t been kept up with. The phone in the room didn’t work. You could tell that the rooms are only cleaned after a stay since there was dust everywhere. The shower would make a loud hissing noise when running it.

We were also bummed that the breakfast was sparse since they were out of several items during our stay. The staff was great and very helpful though!
Alexis (7/5): An okay place to stay, but ask for a room on the back side of the site. - Location was good for our purpose of being there. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. We tried to register 15 minutes early but their computer was down, so we went to eat and came back an hour later. We were supposed to get a walk-in shower, but didn't..had to go back to registration & change rooms. The front sliding doors of the motel were broke, so they left the doors open all the time. We went down for breakfast, which was okay, but their coffee machine was out of order, so they were making coffee one little pot at a time-it disappeared quickly. Our room was on the front freeway side, so it was very noisy at night. The trash bins outside were overflowing onto the sidewalk.

In the morning the English muffin was so hard. I could've broken the window with it it's the worst Marriott I've ever stayed in.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how much value this hotel delivers at a great price. Breakfast had all of the basics (fruit, yoghurt, muffins, toast, bagels, cereal) but not hot choices like scrambled eggs and bacon to make it a hearty meal to start the day.

Facilities all right, and so was the breakfast, however, the pool opens only after 3pm, and it requires cleaning, the water is greenish.

T5436CRmeganb (10/5): Safe, clean and comfy family stay :) - My family stayed at this hotel last night while trekking from LA to Dallas for the holidays. I’m typically more of a Hilton and Hyatt kind of traveler so I was leary of this type of hotel feeling comfortable and safe for my family of 4. My concerns were totally unfounded. Everything was safe and comfortable for our stay. The front desk was courteous and quick. Our room was nice and functional- The large walk in shower was clean and well appointed with toiletries and needed items. The beds were comfortable and clean. The hotel was quiet and felt safe. The only minor issue I had was that the in room AC was really loud. It was right next to the fold out couch my kids were sleeping on. We ended up just turning the AC off and it was fine. This issue likely varies room to room anyways and wouldn’t matter if you didn’t have someone sleeping right next to it. Overall, definitely would recommend this hotel for a stay in Pecos, TX

Z5519TQjoses (4/5): VERY DISSAPOINTED! - I had the most horrible hotel experience at this property, I called the front desk person to report that me and my family was not able to take a shower because the bath tub was clogged, she told me that there was no maintenance during the weekend, and she didn’t offer me switch rooms, so, I had no choice to unclogged the tub by myself to have my kids to take a shower. It was nasty . And respect my room rate

Charles (10/5): - I stayed at a lot of mid-range hotels this past two weeks and this property was one of the best. It was clean, recent decor and a friendly staff. Construction on the frontage road made it a little difficult to get there and there was limited parking for my suburban pulling a trailer, but those were minor inconveniences for a nice place to sleep overnight.

All in all a relaxing place to enjoy two quick nights.

I tried to call the front desk and the phone was broken. So I walk down to the front desk the lady says this happens often and that she will restart the boiler and to wait 15min or so before showering. So I wait. Only to take a Luke warm shower. The next morning me and my family are woke up by some kind of Latin party at 7am next door to the hotel with people yelling and using a pa.

916lesliem (2/5): Unhelpful. Tired hotel. - in Pecos for the day and just needed a room to change our clothes and work till time for our meeting. Booked online, requested early checkin and it allowed it. Arrived to hotel where the front desk staff told us there was not a single room in the entire hotel that was clean because “everyone” had checked out at noon. The housekeeping staff was all sitting in the lobby. I know this because she left the front desk ti ask if there was a clean room. Told us it would be 2 house before they one that was ready. It’s be sooner if they weren’t all hanging out in the lobby….🤷🏼‍♀️. Won’t stay here again. There were zero drinks for sale in the market, no coffee. The sitting area are VERY worn and in dire need of refurbishing. Very basic. Less than helpful staff.
