TV was sitting on the desk-Wires pulled out. Remote didn’t work-remote batteries were corroded . Shampoo was old and wouldn’t pump. Floor was slick , I slid but did not fall. They also felt greasy on bare feet. Poor management when you don’t make sure your facility isn’t in tip top shape.

- Jazmine (2/5): Do NOT Stay Here! - The condition of the room was unacceptable. Each light switch was covered in grime, while the bathroom walls and door bore unsightly handprints and dirt. The bathtub contained remnants left by the previous occupant. When we attempted to report these issues to the front desk, the staff member on duty was unable to assist us due to being the sole employee present. The sheets emitted a musty odor, and the towels appeared dingy and unclean. Consequently, we were forced to buy cleaning supplies and bedding for our stay, with no refund offered.

Beds were very comfortable, staff went above and beyond to help. Poor maintenance. Would not stay hete again ,but moved and room was very nice except TV didn't work.
- Abercrombie (4/5): So disappointed! - Started off by having the staff "accidently" charging my card 6 different times one charge for triple the amount of our whole stay for 2 rooms! Then I get told I will get my $50 deposit back in 48 hrs. After 3 days I called about it and get told it could take up to 3 months!!! Not to mention that while trying to take a bath the whole tub drain came out! And the TV in one of the rooms didn't work until 2 hours before we checked out! So unprofessional!

But did have one night of unruly guests on my floor that need to learn some respect but not the hotels fault. Great space in the room and all the necessities are provided. Kudos to the maids for actually doing their jobs!
- Tina (10/5): Surprising cleaner than most - Over all great. Bed comfy, out of my 4 pillows one was junk, so I was fine. Convenient, and comfortable!honestly I travel for work and I have to give kudos to the maids. One of the truly cleanest in a long time. They actually don’t have buildup around the base boards and under the head board. No food under the edges of the counters. The recliner does have a few spots and the stairways need some work, comparatively speaking I still rate it 10 stars for cleanliness. No rating on towels and bedding I travel with my own but didn’t appear to have the typical stains or hair I find when removing them, so again A+ on the clean.

When I got into the room it was 2 queen beds. I did not even go to the front desk to ask about it this time because the last time they put it on booking.com that they are the ones who assigned it incorrectly.

It’s a bummer that there is no breakfast. I know there is a kitchenette in the room, but typically when one is traveling, there are other things going on, and not much time/ desire to cook.

- Sunshine11014070648 (6/5): Free laundry , room with kitchen but worst frontdesk agent. - I am staying here for 5 days as my school send students for a week to Integres Bass for clinical. Majority of students chooses AirBnB but I want to try something different. And I think choosing this hotel is a big mistake as the morning frontdesk agent doesn’t have any customer service skills. I showed up to the frontdesk and without looking at the computer she already told me that there is no room to check me in this is 12 PM, that’s fair because check in is at 3. So I asked for a pre check in and to call my cell when it is ready. She could not find my reservation in the system and told me the problem as if she wants me to resolve it for her. So I told her to call the IHG to help her. There’s nothing I can do in my end as I already gave her all the information given to me as far as booking. She seems confused,so I called the IHG member services for assistance. The rep told me that they will call and speak with the frontdesk. Hotel phone rang, and I heard the agent refuses to talk to IHG and states “the problem is the reservation is not on the system”. The agent could have made a reservation and put a comment in there about the rewards night that is prepaid. I decided to have a lunch and let her do her own way. So I asked to just call me when she resolve the problem. I asked for assistance with the luggage so I can go to store while waiting for my room. She refused due the liability this may cause. It is obvious that the agent does t really care about their guest. Walked in there didn’t even ask if I need some water which I was supposed to get as welcome amenity. Keep in mind it is 100 degree weather. There was no smile, and when she was talking to the IHG she trow the pen intentionally to the wall showing that she is upset that they called her. She did not even call the housekeeping to check if there is a room she can accommodate an early check in. While she sitting at the back office. 3PM no rooms to check in she doesn’t even bother getting out of the office to ask housekeeping.PM crew showed up and in less than a 5 minutes the PM staff was able to check me in. The stove vent in my room was never fixed I called for maintenance multiple times. Gym has mold stain. I checked out the agent says my bill is paid for by the IHG. But now I have charges in my credit card that’s supposed to be paid by the IHG. I like the room as it has a kitchen which is good if you like to cook but if you don’t .. just stay somewhere else … or better just go air bnb.

Now the cons, it was located towards the end of the “Strip” where most of the restaurants were but the biggest con was how unfriendly the front desk night clerk (Elaine) was. We had an issue with our reservation when checking in and were shocked at her unwillingness to attempt to help us resolve the issue or contact someone who could help. She just kept saying, I don’t know how that works just call my manager on Monday vs trying to resolve it. Her lack of empathy was astonishing. So sad that interaction took what would have been a 5 star down to a 3 star. Staff matters.

Upon arrival we were told 2 of the families did NOT have a room because the people staying there previously had decided to stay longer. We were told we could be put up in a cheaper hotel but not be reimbursed the amount that we’d already been charged MONTHS ago. After 2 hours of craziness one room was finally opened for us (they bumped someone else) and one family had to find another place to stay. This will be the last time we stay at any Candlewood suite.

- Douglas (10/5): As good as can be! - The location was good, right on our travel route. The room was set up for disability people. I like all the safety features. Nicely appointed kitchenette, 3 chairs, room to move around. Very nice staff, quiet suroundings. Very clean!!! The microwave is located below the counter top, for wheelchair bound people. It is very hard to operate standing. It would be better placed on the counter top.
