• Thijs (10/5): Paradijsje in het paradijs! - Een paradijsje in het paradijs! Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Supervriendelijke medewerkers, mooi, ruim en schoon appartement. Fijn zwembad met fijne bedjes met kussens. Rustige ligging, maar snel in het centrum. Bij het hotel liggen ook verscheidene restaurants. Beachclub Carolinda is heel fijn! Douche was warm en had een goede straal, maar stond onhandig afgesteld.

• Edwin Hoogerbrugge (9/5): - Prachtig aangelegd resort met hele mooie tuin en ruim zwembad. Mooie rooftop om te chillen. Enkele restaurants/bars heel dichtbij. Strand en zee ook heel dichtbij. Goed bed. Heel fijn terras met privacy. Behulpzaam personeel bij receptie. Geen wasrek of waslijn. Terrasstoelen niet zo comfortabel. Keuken was erg simpel gezien de prijs. Geen föhn. Ontbijt was karig; tegen bijbetaling bijbestellen. Geen WiFi in appartement en terras (nr 13), dat was echt onhandig. Geen bezem. Geen fietsen (kan je vlakbij huren).

• Megan (9/5): - Such a beautiful property! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Love the grounds. Lovely breakfast. So very peaceful all around. My two teen kiddos enjoyed our stay here too. We all felt safe and the room was comfortable. Short walk to the beach and it was fun to rent bikes nearby. Also, a little market across the street to grab water and snacks which was handy. We didn't mind walking into town as it wasn't too far and it gave us the chance to work off all the tacos! The light in the master bedroom did not work even though they said they had fixed it. Our room had no balcony which was unfortunate given the price we had paid. However, we enjoyed hanging by the pool or in the hammocks, so it was not that big of a deal.

Emilio y Flor eran súper simpaticos y atentos, Flor era una linda persona!! el hotel estaba muy bonito y el desayuno genial!!! además había mapaches (aunque esto solo gusta a los turistas, jeje) Las habitaciones son un poco frías y oscuras y los mosquitos terribles… se podría hacer algo para que las camas estuviesen protegidas con mosquiteras o algo… Y la playa del hotel no es buena, hay que caminar un poco para ir a una que está bien para el baño (en la que está “café del mar” por ejemplo)

• Torsten (9/5): - Die Lage etwas außerhalb des Trubels, aber dennoch nicht zu abgelegen hat uns gefallen. Super nettes Personal- besonders im Empfangsbereich. Ruhiges, chilliges Hotel mit eigenem Strandbereich bzw Strandbar.
• charlène (5/5): Ne vaut pas son prix. - Ne vaut pas son prix du tout, hôtel vieillissant et mal entretenu avec des finitions déplorables ( haut et bas de fenêtre qui laisse passer le vent, bruit de vent toute la nuit) câble électrique atteignable par la douche. Les rideaux trop courts qui laissent passer la lumière. Les horaires sont aussi très tardifs ( 8h30 pour le petit déjeuner ) ou trop tôt ( fermeture des piscines pour 8h et 7h de l’après-midi ). Ne parlons pas de l’emplacement, en plein dans la partie de l’île où tout est en travaux, des bruits de perceuses toute la journée. Et le beach club entouré par ceux d’autres hôtels qui protègent le leur avec des sacs de sables, donc toutes les sargasses s’entassent dessus. Impossible de se baigner. Vraiment la plus grande déception de notre voyage au vu du prix. Bien évidemment annulation impossible même avant de prendre la chambre… bref à fuir.

• Jakob (10/5): - small local-run hotel, with laid back vibes. We spent a whole week here and enjoyed it a lot. Very family friendly. The staff is great. The beach is 2 blocks away with its own beach club. Would definitely go again The beach with the beach club is a little tucked in between two new hotels and rather small. No one stops you from going a few steps onto the bigger beaches though ;)
• lucie (10/5): Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans ce havre de paix, l’hôtel est joli, reposant, le personnel est aux petits soi - Le personnel est vraiment adorable et aide pour tout ce dont vous avez besoin, la piscine centrale est très bien, la plage du beach club est bien entretenue, c’est un petit paradis.

Wenn man satt werden will muss man extra bezahlen um ein paar Eier zu bekommen. Das Frühstück kostet die Unterkunft so wahrscheinlich nur ein paar Cents
• Kara (8/5): Third time is the charm? - Thi was our third stay and as per usual, staff was friendly and relaxed (except Gary, even dog treats couldn't win him over). Pool was refreshing but through no fault of the hotel, the location has changed. This isn't the quiet corner of Holbox 2022, the streets leading to the beach have multiple business, taxis are available almost all hours at the corner, and there are people, people, people. Rooms were kitted with everything you need for a relaxing stay and we find the "Mexican" firm beds to be very comfortable 😀 We lacked hot water due to a neighbor trying to save the planet by turning off the hot water heater. Cold showers in the Mexico heat aren't terrible, but the couple of cooler temp days were uncomfortable. We did talk to two different staff and was advised they would fix it, but no luck.

• JEZEQUEL (3/5): Trop déçue - RAPPEL : hôtel 4 étoiles !!! Chambre non prête à l'arrivée Petit déjeuner qui n'inclut pas les œufs et lors de notre commande c’était non disponible et tout le personnel (4) était en train de manger dans la cuisine (pas professionnel du tout!) Temps de petit-déjeuner très court et très tard 8h30 10h Pas de lumière dans les escaliers qui sont pourtant pas simples à utiliser Tâche et trous sur les draps du lit - le ménage n'est pas fait sauf sur demande (et c'est approximatif) Pas de TV - plaques de cuisson très sales et non fonctionnelles .. Beach club éloigné à 150 mètres de l’hôtel et rempli de Sargasses, des tas énormes (merci la vue et l’odeur) impossible de se baigner et le cocktail de bienvenu vous avez le choix entre coca ou Sprite.. Rien pour mettre le linge à sécher on se contente des barrières en bois où rien ne tient vu le vent qu’il y a (pas compliqué d'installer un fil et des épingles à linge!) Piscine pas ouverte à l’heure indiquée Douche non fonctionnelle (l’eau sortait par les côtés du tuyau au-dessus du pommeau..) Nous avons décidé de dépenser plus d'argent dans un étoile 4 étoiles pour finir sur un souvenir inoubliable après ce road trip dans le Yucatan, nous avons fini par le moins bien de tous les hôtels fréquentés en 15 jours pour 2 fois plus cher...Nous déconseillons fortement !!!

We love the laid back atmosphere, the superb staff led by Emilio and great amenities, including free rooftop yoga sessions with Fran multiple times a week. Nothing.

• Inès (5/5): Decevant - Le personnel hyper sympa et dispo. Le petit déjeuner agréable ( mais attention nombreuses options payantes ) L’emplacement légèrement excentré si c’est ce que vous cherchez ( mais du mauvais côté de l’île ) Avant tout , je trouve mensonger de dire que l’hôtel a son beach club. On vous donne certes, un bracelet pour accéder à la plage partenaire toute proche, mais oh surprise sur place : il faut payer son transat ! À priori moins cher que les autres clients mais , je vous confirme , aussi cher que certaines plages voisines bien plus agréables . En effet le personnel sur place notemment français, est hyper condescendant & ne prends même pas la peine de ramasser les sargasses . Ce qui donne une plage à l’odeur exécrable . L’hôtel quant à lui est vieillissant : odeur d’humidité , draps de bains fournis troués et sales. Mon fils de 4 ans est passé à travers une latte de bois de la terrasse de la piscine simplement en sautillant. Un mini ( mini ) bar sur place quasiment tjrs vide, comme les fontaines d’eau censées être en libre service . Bref , au vu des nombreux établissements sur l’île je ne recommande pas celui ci .
• Achim (6/5): Würde nur noch buchen, wenn ich weit oben im Gebäude ein Zimmer bekäme und nicht mehr zu fünft ein Appartement - große Zimmer, Pool und Sonnenterasse Dunkle Zimmer, Betten für zwei Personen viel zu schmal, wollten gerne vor 8:30 Uhr Frühstücken wg. des Rückfluges, war nicht möglich - schlechter Service, sehr viele Moskitos
• maria eugenia (9/5): Hermoso hotel, lo recomiendo - El lugar es realmente hermoso, muy cuidados los espacios en común, hermosa vegetación. A resaltar la atención del personal, siempre muy atentos y predispuestos. El desayuno otro plus, muy rico y abundante. Muy bien todo, por ponerme detallista, si mejoraran los colchones sería un 10.
• Jennifer (7/5): Ruhiges Hotel - Sehr schönes Appartment, gross und geräumig, das nötigste zum Kochen vorhanden. Gepflegte Anlage, klein aber fein. Viel Platz. Ruhiger Ort, keine Musik wie sonst fast überall. Im ganzen Hotelbereich und auch auf der eigenen Terasse darf nicht geraucht werden, man muss nach Draussen auf die Strasse. Wurde nicht so in der Hotelbeschreibung beschrieben. Terassen im 2. und 3. Stock müssen besser gesichert sein für kleine Kinder, da sonst Sturzgefahr besteht. Strandbereich war ca. 2min zu Fuss und voller Seegras. Das Personal bemühte sich sehr, das Gras zu entfernen, dennoch starker Geruch von den Nachbarn, welche das Gras nicht entfernen. Frühstück, was inklusive ist eher etwas wenig. Dürfte definitiv mehr sein für den Hotelpreis.

No habia toallas suficientes, ni dieron toalla de manos para cada persona. No habia toalla de playa para cada persona conforme descrito. el desayuno muy pobre

• Virginie (9/5): Little piece of heaven in Nature by the beach to enjoy the island vibe with the family - We LOVED our time there! Staff is so kind, helpful and smiling - right away this makes you smile! The setting is perfect, beautiful architecture with authentic feel, surrounded by vegetation. Perfect relaxing vibe. The beach club is right down the small "block" (200m?) and so peaceful with everything you need there: good food, drinks, service, lounge beds... I liked the rooms, felt like you have your own little cabin and it is useful to have a kitchen and fridge. The kids loved that hotel, we could let them play in the pool, ping pong, swings on the roof top terrasses. The front desk would even lend them beach toys to use when at the beach club. Also provided towels for us to use there. Breakfast was delicious with delightful service. You have everything you need there! Then it's a nice little walk to go to the town center and beach there. Or you can rent bikes from the hotel for the day, and it's a beautiful ride on the island. So perfect! Nothing we did not like - however something to keep in mind for some guests: we barely had any internet in our room, so definitely not a place for remote work or movie streaming. But since in general there's no t much service in the island as far as we experienced i'd say it is the perfect time and place to disconnect 😉

• Yoav (4/5): - Clean, big room, nice looking property Not a beach club by any means. Their "private beach" is distant, stinks badly and dirty. Impossible to sit there even. Location is far from everything. Too expensive for what it is.
• Valérie (8/5): Hôtel très agréable au calme a taille humaine - Hôtel en retrait qui ne donne pas sur la plage mais qui s’est acoquiné avec un beach club ou vous pouvez aller profiter des transats , le seul problème c’est que la plage est minuscule et remplie de sargasses, pour se baigner il faut marchez 10:15 mn et vous êtes sur la plage de Punto coco sauvage un seul bar pas de beach club donc tranquille enfin sauf quand les bateaux qui font le tour de l’île viennent accoster, cela est peu dérangeant enfin à voir en pleine saison, malgré cela la plage est très jolie et calme. Côté hôtel nous étions au dernier étage avec terrasse superbe avec vue mer au loin, surclassement probable car peu de monde enfin si! Une famille de mexicains venu à 15 personnes très sympa, l’hôtel est familial, la piscine est très bien avec transat et dispose également d’un roof top avec piscine, le petit déjeuner comprend un café ou thé ou chocolat à volonté, 2 pancakes, beurre, confiture, miel, chocolat, 2 toasts et une assiette de fruits avec granola, c’est largement suffisant, il est au calme, à 15 m’ du centre-ville, ce qui se fait très bien à pied ou taxi pour ceux qui n’aiment pas marcher , des restaurants à proximité si vous ne voulez pas marcher, nous avons beaucoup aimé, si vous prenez un hôtel côté playa Holbox/ mosquito cela permet d’avoir un accès facile à la plage et de marcher longtemps sur la plage cela dépend de ce que l’on recherche , Le beach club avec un accès à la plage impossible à cause des sargasses que personne ne se donne la peine de ramasser
• Eva (6/5): Would not come back - The environment is very nice and the staff is lovely! The rooms are quite old and could do with some fixing. The beds and pillows are not comfortable, there is no power socket next to the bed, internet barely works. Quite expensive for having these issues

• Najera (10/5): - Muy tranquilos, pudimos disfrutar en familia bebés, adolescentes y adultos... Obviamente regresaremos en la siguiente ocasión. Lo único que podría mejorar son las almohadas de ahí en fuera todo genial.

• Chloe (8/5): Great value stay for our family of 4 - Our room was fantastic (Master Suite King Bed with Partial Ocean View and Balcony) - super view, and really spacious, so we could invite our kids up to sit as a family and eat a meal, play cards etc. at the table. The staff on reception were fantastic - always ready and keen to help, and very knowledgeable, efficient and friendly. The breakfast team were lovely too - so helpful and friendly. The facilities were great, but at the time we visited (late August) there were lots of mosquitos in Holbox so we didn't make the most of them - there were fewer mosquitos by the sea, so we often swam there instead. All areas of the hotel felt super clean, and you could always see a member of staff keeping the communal areas clean. La Cabane pizzas are top notch (better than we had during our stay in NYC a few days before!), and it was so convenient to have them just next door, so that we could pick up a pizza after a busy day exploring. We booked a whale shark tour through the hotel, really easy, great communication and a fantastic experience In our kids' room ('Apartment - Kitchenette and Garden View (4 people)') it would have been great to have air con in both the bedroom areas, as there was only air con in the main bedroom but this didn't reach the other bed area.
• Prisca (10/5): Un lieu Zen sur Holbox comme un petit paradis - Super emplacement au calme au sein de l'île, à 15min à pieds du centre mais dans un écrin de calme et zen en pleine nature et surtout à 2min à pied de la mer. C'est un petit paradis caché et encore peu fréquenté des touristes du centre. Super petit déjeuner, un beach club très pratique pour voir le coucher de soleil sans le brouhaha du centre. Vraiment triste de quitter cet endroit. Sans compter le personnel de l'hôtel ultra gentil. Merci pour tout ! Rien, tout était génial.
• Paul-Quentin (6/5): Moustiques…. - Petit déjeuner sympa. Les locaux sont beaux et propres Pas vraiment de possibilité de faire à manger car manque d’ustensiles. Pas de tables et de chaise dans la chambre. Pas de possibilité de rester dehors pour manger car infesté de moustiques. Le wifi ne capte pas jusque dans la chambre, obligé d’aller à la piscine avec les moustiques pour capter le wifi…

• Botte (9/5): - Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved our room with small kitchen and fridge. Swimming pool was a big favourite especially for our 8 year old. Very happy to spend 5 days here. The nearby Italian/Pizzaria was very good. The beach at Corolinda beach club is on the small side.

• sebastien (7/5): Sympa - Esthétiquement, l’hôtel est magnifique , avec beaucoup de matière organique . Il y a un accès gratuit à un beach club à quelques pas . La piscine est agréable . L’hôtel est situé à l’extrémité ouest de l’île pour moins de bruit ( mais vous devrez prendre systématiquement le taxi si vous voulez aller au centre-ville). - Le petit déjeuner est le pire de tout mon séjour au Mexique . Soit deux tartines grillées , soit un pancake ou des fruits au yaourt . On allait systématiquement remanger à l’extérieur tellement c’était léger . - La clim faisait des vibrations très désagréables, mal entretenue . - Nous avons pris une excursion bioluminescence en passant par l’hôtel , le prestataire choisi n’était vraiment pas bon . - le nettoyage de la piscine a 23h30…
• Montse (10/5): Descanso en el paraíso - Lo que más me gustó es la tranquilidad , la amabilidad de su personal . Nos gestionaron excursiones , taxis y todo lo que necesitáramos . Volveremos sin duda. Es de ensueño .
• Ricaud (10/5): excellente - Hace dos años estuvmos en Holbox pero solo una noche asi q este año hemos ido p pasar la semana y en este hotel ha sido la mejor opcion, el personal top desde recepcion hasta la cocina. todo el Hotel es original y parte del decor, el espacio playa y bar a unos pasos es perfecto. pero si no todo perfecto y el ambiente Holbox muy natural y europeo con animales por toda la isla !!! Que niesyro apartamento era uno de los dos que no tiene terraza, muy practica p tender toallas, dormir en hamaca o tomat el cafe
• abel plata_82 (10/5): - El hotel esta muy bien decorado. Es un hotel tranquilo donde se puede descansar sin bullicio. Las habitaciones son amplias, limpias y comodas. Con todo lo necesario (aire acondicionado y ventilador de techo) nuestra habitación ademas tenia cocina y nevera. La terracita, con su hamaca daba un toque mucho mas relajante. Las piscinas muy agradables, limpias y seguras. Una de ellas en la azotea con vistas al mar. El personal muy atento, amable y servicial. Tienen un restaurante/bar a pie de playa con hamacas, balinesas ...donde se está muy comodo. La comida es muy buena.
• Eric (10/5): wonderfull place in paradise - super hotel, everything the hotel is accountable for is met our expectations or even outperfomed these. The 2 pools are super, with clean beds next to these pools, towels available, nice rooms, loved the architecture of the buildings, looked like tree houses. 1 of the pools was a rooftop pool. 100 mtr from the beach with a beachclub (free welcome drink). Hotel helped us with a tour and the taxi, so all good. The island is a must-visit. minor detail might be weak wifi

• Frédéric (8/5): Très belle découverte - Hotel très agréable situé au calme un peu à l'écart du centre. Le centre est à 20 min de marche, 10 min de vélo ou 5 min en taxi (voiture type quad). Location de vélos ou de voiture de golf possible depuis l'hôtel. Piscine très agréable (bonne taille) Plage avec chaises longues réservées pour les clients de l'hôtel située à 100 m de l'hôtel. Depuis la plage, on observe de magnifiques couchers de soleil dans la mer. Très bon petit déjeuner servi à l'hôtel. L'hôtel n'a pas de restaurant en tant que tel mais il y a plusieurs bons restaurants situés à 2 pas de l'hôtel pour le midi ou le soir (on recommence la cabane). L'équipe de l'hôtel est très aimable et fournit beaucoup de renseignements sur les excursions et activités à faire dans l'île. Possible de réserver les excursions via l'hôtel. Mention spéciale par rapport à leur réactivité en cas de soucis ( ils ont réparé la douche 10 min après qu'on leur ait signalé le problème). Légère odeur d'humidité dans la chambre située au rez de chaussée.
• Samantha (8/5): - Prachtig hotel, mooie kamers, goed schoon, mooi zwembad en vriendelijk personeel. Leuk dat de beachclub Carolinda erbij hoort waar je lekkere cocktails kunt drinken. Het ontbijt is vanaf 8.30, dat is voor ons vrij laat en de keuze viel ook tegen (je kunt alleen kiezen van de kaart uit toast, pannenkoeken of fruit). We hadden geen mogelijkheid om zelf bijvoorbeeld een kop koffie op de kamer te zetten dat was jammer. Het hotel ligt ook redelijk afgelegen.
• Peter (9/5): heerlijk ontspannen verblijf! Zeker voor gezinnen. - Heerlijk, kleinschalig hotel. Sfeervol, schoon en heerlijk ontbijt. Er is een ontspannen, gemoedelijke sfeer. De familiekamer is groot en schoon en prima douche. Wel weinig licht op de kamer. Leuk zwembad en strand op 100 meter. fietsen/activiteiten via de receptie te boeken, spreken uitstekend engels. Ontbijt is heerlijk, keuze uit toast/yoghurt en fruit of pannekoeken. Zwembad op dak geen gebruik van gemaakt. nodigt niet uit. Het zwembad in de tuin is heerlijk, met bedjes.

• Charlotte Gram (9/5): Skøn ramme om dejlige dage på Holbox - Skønt hotel med dejlige værelser. Roligt og hyggeligt. Lækkert med hotellets egen beachclub. Personalet var virkeligt hjælpsomt. For meget klor i poolen og morgenmad blev først serveret fra 8.30.

• Marjolein (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf op mooie lokatie - Ruime kamers, koelkast, airco en korte afstand naar de beachclub. Ook het personeel was enorm aardig en behulpzaam! We hadden kamer op de begane grond. Op de eerste of 2e verdieping was leuker geweest. Kleine porties bij het ontbijt.
